I had the pleasure of meeting several olympians during my school days and guess what, when you turn professional YOU pay for your coaches and whoever else you want on your team, Nigerians want the government to do everything for them. Yes I agree we should have a National coach, but to expect the government to pay for individuals is just foolish.

What happens is that when you run for your country you get recognition and international fame thereby making you more relevant to sponsors and companies for endorsements.

The US does NOT pay their athletes, the only pay for transportation and logistics, their athletes compete for national pride. Their sponsors (Nike, Adidas, ....) generally pay them and they pay their individual coaches. The average Nigerian athlete is only loyal to the money they get from Naija, there is next to no National pride.

Let's do small math, our population is say 170 million (rough estimate) so 70%is about 119m people so if a plate of food is 10 naira it will cost 1.19 billion per meal for the 70% 10 meals at 10 naira is all that money will buy. When last did you buy anything for 10 naira? Yet you expect it to feed them for 20 years. I guess that's why you support GMB cos like you he sucks at math.

I also have reservations as regards public privacy. A UAV flying over my backyard isn't something I'd cherish. Worse is it being lowered into my compound and probably,close to my window...Gosh!!! Nope. Any drone. You can fly it in a park or the beach. Not in neighborhoods and certainly not the way those guys were doing it in that youtube video. Puleese, try that over here and see if that drone is not shot down by an angry neighbor. What those guys were doing is same as privacy invasion. Can you imagine what a techy armed robber could do with that drone? He would know who's at home and who's not. Nigerians need to wake up.

I actually bought my drone in the states and I have flown it several times in florida, look out for an aerial view of vgc.

Just so u know 2 of the 4 you posted are aircraft carriers not really warships. Please note that the US still has destroyers in their fleet in fact it's what they have the most of, so please instead of always criticising try and appreciate from time to time

It is NOT 1 million, their smallest sedan is just over 1m.

Only few cars are produced without CD players, and those cars have alternatives which is streaming. Music and videos can be streamed right from the internet. Those cars are not relying solenly on music from smart phones or mp3s. Now ask urself this, does this innoson SUV have Pandora, iHeartRadio, HD radio or sattelite radio. Does it even have ipod compatibility? The answer is NO, so why remove the CD player when u don't have an alternative. Even if it has these services, which internet do u want to stream from? This is just like importing a car with navigation from north America and selling it as premium here in Nigeria when we all know the navigation is useless here.

Totally eradicating CD players is not yet ripe for Nigeria, we still have a long way to go. Our internet is slow and subscription is very expensive, so there's no way streaming service will work (at least not yet). Until then, CD players will always play a big part. Also most luxury SUVs can play DVD, and once a system can play DVD then it will automatically play audio CD.

If playing music from ur phone through Bluetooth into the car's audio is what u call innovation then u are still learning. What happens if u want to skip a track, grab ur phone and change the track? How is that safe? If I can't see my music on my car's dashboard and control it from the dashboard without touching my phone then it is useless and no no. This is where iPod comes into play, but I doubt of this car even has iPod compatibility.

Actually almost every car that allows you to play music via Bluetooth also allows you to skip tracks from the car controls. You are judging the car without complete facts which I think is very unfair.

Actually more and more cars are coming without CD players, for the last 2 years there has been a steady increase in the number of cars that do not have CD players standard.

Actually it's done all over the world, Nigeria already supplies almost all our neighbors power, it had to do that as a result of the kainji dam. It will not be cost effective to supply gas from the Niger delta, it will cost too much to build the infrastructure and also cost to much to maintain.
