@ Pukkah u re on point.
I believe this new policy was started to discourage yahoo-yahoo boys.
The policy was started right about the same time CBN brought up strict KYC ( Know Your Customer ) compliance for all bank customers. In a situation were d transaction is fraudlent the fraudster can be traced via the bank account.

Awwwwwwww!!! They are toooooooooo cute!!!!!

I hope you didn't get on their cases oh! It's not their fault you left something that tempting within their reach. cheesy

Seriously, you ought to know better by now naa. . .there are just some things you keep out of reach.. .Toothpaste, dish washing liquid, Laundry Detergent, Lotion, Powder, toilet roll, pills etc.

I am convinced these items come with a voice that only kids can hear and it says "Pick me up! Pick me up! Come oooon, Pick me up and spread me all over the place". I mean how else do you explain the fact that you finish scolding them for dumping a whole roll of tissue in one toilet and before you are done cleaning that one, you hear "oh oh tissue go down there" in the next? cheesy cheesy

Gosh! Kids are wonderful creatures. . .you can't be bored with them around. kiss kiss
@ Sisi I knew u won't b able 2 resist this thread wink. like seriously, have u given a thought to teaching prescholershuh? You will kill them with love. Lol
@ op e pele o! Ndo oo? Sofry sofry with the kids. D annoying part is the disarming guilty grin they usually give u when they ve been caught in d act. Those two re too young 4 serious punishment as they re are at their adventureous n curious stage.
Just get ready to turn them to repeat Offenders if you continue to leave things carelessly within their reach.
They re damn toooo cute!

He should go for it. I bet this case would bring to light a lot of things that would have ordinarily be swept under the carpet in Nigeria. Those that think d guy is looking for money i dont blame you guys. Ignorance has eaten deep into the minds of most Nigerians

FamilyRe: Dog Rescues Abandoned Newborn in Ghana by othenok(f): 12:31am On Jun 08, 2012
Soo touching but am not suprised. I grew up with a cat and it was soo protective of my only brother. Visitors dare not come near him ( My baby bro )when he is asleep. I remember how it use to curl up against him and growls @ strangers. Now i ve a lovely Alsatian that loves my kids sooo much. I can leave my kids unsupervised with my dog. It has a way of dragging or rather nudging my hyper active son away from what it deems dangerous. I love animals cos they ve proofed more loyal than we humans.

FamilyRe: Special Advices To Parents And Guardians by othenok(f): 5:01pm On May 27, 2012
Parents esp mothers,no matter how tired u may be always be the one to give your kids a bath. Not just to avoid sexual molestation but it helps you get a good look at their body for injuries of any sort.

by the time you drop two or so kids, the walking will change by force.

unless you're a professional model.
Naa, it doesn't. Been cat walking since Pry 6 n tell u what, mine hasn't changed a bit (according to childhood friends). Once its part of u its hard to change. At work while preggy, still had people complimenting me.

FamilyRe: I Don't Want To Divorce Her,but Do I Have Any Choice? by othenok(f): 3:09am On May 23, 2012
Op dont even open your mouth again 2 claim "born-again". You re a bloody liar. Why d long story of how your wife was not a virgin when you married? It means you are indirectly/ secretly blaming her for you guys inability to have a child. You claim doctors said both of u re ok so y re so jittery. I can only imagine what you would have done to your wife if had tests shown she is the one at fault.
I was once like your wife but to the glory of God am a mother of 2. My hubby married me a virgin but we still passed thru d pain and trail of infertility. What am trying to tell you is that their is nothing like patience and trust in God. Those years of waiting on the Lord is meant 2 bring u n your wife together not u talking of how to "test" your manhood outside. The semen analysis u ve done has taken care of that one.
Unless you re tired of your wife you can tread this path u want 2 follow.
Every marriage comes with its pitfalls, infertility is yours for now so brave this storm it's just for awhile. You can send me a message if u need more info.

Timileyin: I pity this man and is story. You A̶̲̥̅®ε̲̣̣̣̥ just moving towards the part of destruction, A̶̲̥̅®ε̲̣̣̣̥ you really a christain or just a sunday church goer. You better close this story and go down on your kneels and re seTtle with God. The devil is using you and you A̶̲̥̅®ε̲̣̣̣̥ finding excuses and people to blame for it. Go and read about job, he loosed more than you did and God restored his happiness.
My God! Are you for real!? How dare tell a man going thru such loss to "close this story". I pray you "loosed" everything you have so that God would restore your happiness too. Fool.

EducationRe: Public Schools Back In Those Days (Your Experiences) by othenok(f): 8:34pm On Apr 27, 2012
Wow, see nostalgic memories. My primary and half of my secondary school years were spent in a pubic school.
I remember giving morning information in pry sch daily. The funny part is that i usually get my info from outdated newspapers. I can still remember gasps of horror from teachers then when say things like " 18 people died in an accident along Lagos-Ibadan exp way". Mind you these re things that happened years back. And boy, do i keep recycling papers n news
we use to buy Agidi Jollof, kuli-kuli mandela, one fake ice cream tied in nylon ( we used to hit it on d wall 2 crush n share) Beg beg was d order of d day.
Still remember d march pasts every children's day n indpenc. Infact i was always infront leading d march in my spick n span red n white uniform and my well polished cortina shoes. It was fun!

FamilyRe: Am I Suffering From Paranoia? by othenok(op): 10:15pm On Apr 09, 2012
Outstrip: I totally understand where you are coming from. I think it is inappropriate for your husbands friedn to kiss your son. Your husband needs to understand that even though you might be more anxious that a typical person would be he(your husband) needs to not be so blazay about it either. The most important thing you can do rather than stress yourself to death about it is to educate your kids. You should have that talk with your kids even the two year old. There is a book called "those are my private parts" http://www.amazon.com/Those-are-MY-Private-Parts/dp/0976198800/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333997868&sr=8-1 This way your kids will come to you (at least we all hope) if someone is touching them inappropriately. That way it can be nipped in the bud. This world is filled with so many sick people and your husband does not get it because he was never a victim of sexual abuse.
Thanks a lot 4 d encouragement, i dont really blame him too cos its almost impossible to understand when u ve never bin a victim.
I ve just placed an order for "Those are my privates" hope i get it soon
FamilyRe: Am I Suffering From Paranoia? by othenok(op): 10:07pm On Apr 09, 2012
Sisikill Thank you so much. Will email u dis night. God bless
FamilyRe: Am I Suffering From Paranoia? by othenok(op): 9:07pm On Apr 09, 2012
Sisi_Kill: Talking to someone in your family is good but you need someone who is outside the issue, someone who will let you pour your heart out without making any judgement. Are in based outside Nigeria? If you are I'd suggest you search for a Women's Counseling Center in your area. . .they usually have good Counselors on board. I'd also suggest you talk to your Private doctor if you have one, he can recommend you a good counselor.

Unfortunately I don't know any counseling place in Nigeria. . .if that's where you are based. I know Nigerians are into pouring everything to the pastor. . .not saying it is bad idea but sometimes you need more than "Pray About it" to heal a damaged psyche.
Am in Nigeria and your right , i ve never heard of any counselling centre. Don't wanna do the pastor thing. I ve forgiven them but forgeting is kinda hard.

@Sisikill, i agree wit you. Cos sometimes it eats me up inside. I ve opened up 2 one of my elder ones and all she could do was 2 cry. Can u recommend a good one?
FamilyRe: Am I Suffering From Paranoia? by othenok(op): 1:20pm On Apr 09, 2012
@ Maclatunji : i did tell him how hurtful his statement was. Its cos of his statement that i started wondering if am being overly paranoid. It did't stop me from telling him that maybe God allowed me 2 pass thru all those pains 2 protect my children.
Will continue praying 4 my kids cos i cant b everywhere. Only God can do that
