Haba OP, fear God o! This was posted over two years ago here on Nairaland. |
omolami:Says someone that didn't make proper use of punctuation marks and capital letters for acronyms. Kindly remove the log in your eyes before going for the speck in our president's. SMH. |
drss:I hope you made this comment when our dear former president was in power. When he was accused of not being in control etc. I remember some people making excuses that he can't be everywhere. Oh well, your signature is quite helpful. |
sombradyi:You will definitely die alone. Ndi igbo that are still busy segregating amongst themselves. This person bu onwe Wawa, Ndi agbaenu, Ndi Owerri, Ndi Nsukka etc. I truly pity those that have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by a man living in far away UK. I can bet that those doing gra-gra on this issue have no personal relationship with God. Infact ,they have no relationship with God . Let them continue at their own peril. |
Trust Naija youth to swallow this Fb write-up hook, line n sinker. Anyway my country people are well known for their Amnesia. We are also known for our lack of patience in everything. You don't expect an elder like our president with his military background and years of experience to make hasty and rash decisions. No matter the criticism I am a strong believer in "Slow n Steady wins the race". Yes the bombs are still going off but I refuse to believe that it's getting worse. For the doomsday prophets, why complaining? Se bi they have always wanted to paint the president as a villain. Ehee! Their wishes are coming true (In their warped negative minds). Nigeria will rise again and very soon. Mark my words! |
adconline:I don't have to, adconline, but if I should find myself in these poor ladies position, I know I ain't taking any life. Amaro isi ga abu eze. Ask an Igbo friend to translate. Besides, two wrongs can never be right, no matter how hard we try. Thank you. |
Olamitisoji:Why don't you wait till that time. Assumption can be very dangerous. Have u actually given it a thought that you may be wrong? |
Abortion is murder however way we chose to look at it. Why take life when you can't create it? Even the lineage of Jesus wasn't so pure, so who are we to talk of killing so as to sound politically correct? |
"Her kids", you say? Bro this love isn't normal again o! |
goke4all:I was a victim in 2013, mine was even more painful cos I was paid zit for after spending close to 8 years in the bank. I was the best in my branch, had an appraisal of 98%. Dear OP, dust yourself and move on. If I can survive you will too. Use your marketing skills and contact to sell yourself n future business. Shalom |
You are so right. I and hubby were so disappointed when we went to watch it. We actually left before it ended. It's unfortunate that we don't have Movie reviewers in Nigeria. |
ihatebuhari:Lol, no I don't want to be like you. Ask Jesus to help you work on your hate, pride and love for abusive words. ((Hugs)). |
ihatebuhari:Did I see "Jesus is Lord" in your profile ? Jesus has no busy with someone that makes your kind of comments. God is love!! |
ECOTERRORS:From the bottom of my heart I ask this; Are you sure you are Igbo? On a good day do you talk like this? Are you aware that you will account for every word that leaves your mouth? It isn't too late to change. Those you think are your cohorts on this forum won't allow you near their homes cos am sure they are also appalled by your utterances. Were ire gi guo eze gi onu. Agwa gi na okwu onu gi ebe a ndi njo. |
After1one:You will live long!!! Let him speak for his party and stop lumping the masses to his unnecessary tirade! it's really annoying. |
Straight to the point and concise! I wonder when some certain people on nairaland would stop trying too hard to be "praised" as the present administration's doomsday prophets. Opposition is good when it's on the side of the masses, it would keep the PMB lead administration on it's toes. An opposition that thrives on half-truths and propaganda becomes more of a nuisance and in their bid to politicize everything cause more harm to our country. I'd advise that criticism be more constructive and less childish. |
Hi lovely people! I cant believe i missed the Novena in May. Anyway, hoping their will be more in future. Lest i forget, today'sgospel Matt 5:13-16 Christ talked of us being the salt of the earth. lukewarmness makes us lose our saltiness. It starts with the weakening of the will, brought about by means of repeated faults and cupable omissions, of frquently doing wrong and, failing to do what is right. A lot of us Catholics have sunk into Lukewarmness. Let us consider in our prayers today wether we are going forward with the firmness and confidednce that Jesus asks of us. If we arent lets promptly go for confession in order to close the gap the enemy has made and is attempting to widen in our defences. May God bless us all. |
Truth be told I didn't bother to read this. Breaking Times = Lousy read. I am out. |
I am really confused on what the brouhaha is all about. I've read the full text of the bill section 3 mentioned children 11years and below while section 4 & 5 talked of children 14years n 17years respectively. I think we all should go and read it up before arriving at a conclusion. |
omenka:Save your energy brother, I doubt if these people you ve mentioned care. Theirs is to drive traffic by any means to Nairaland, which isn't nice at all. |
imsuboi:I refuse to believe you are in Imsu. Inuro ala Nne gi ofuma, sincerely. May God forgive you. Smh |
Op dear, do work on your tenses, it's terrible. Good luck solving your current issues though. |
NYSC is all about the age you graduated with. I know this cos my sister that travelled to the US after her university education without going for her service was forced to come back and serve when she was 40. She needed to do her service to be able to work here in Nigeria. So can still serve at 100years so long as you graduated before 30. |
Sincerely Olisa Metuh has ran out of things to write. Am surprised that they are yet to learn from their slip-ups during the last election. If this is how they would play their opposition, then it's childish. |
sukkot:They sure mix. Ever tried doing what makes you happy? The write up was me while slaving in the bank, now I am doing what I enjoy every day feels like fun. I spend time trying to learn and practice my occupation now. By the way, I am a full time Carterer and Mum. |
mascot87:Granted Lagos is for Yorubas how does it make forcing down a candidate down our throats right? You had better preach peace, do not dare any human being. |
Kai! I missed this thread so much. How are all my beloved doing? Looking forward to the resurrection Our Lord come Easter morning. Remember people " He loved us till the end" so lets share and show love for His sake. Be blessed. |
Got same only for me to be told that the Web Portal is undergoing maintenance. How then can one make corrections or fill the form?? It's so hard to believe anything done by govt. |
Wow, nice one. Thought they ve all been hunted and eaten. |
Noooo, dear Lord!!!! You lived well Chaz, am sure God wanted you with him. Rest in Peace, good man. |
I see nothing wrong in I and my husband showing affection to each other in front of our kids. We hug, peck, hold hands and cuddle in front of the TV to watch movies or news. I grew up watching my parents argue and throw hurtful words to each other and it really affected me. I could never confide or talk to them. Its the total reverse in my home. We tell our children we love them. We kiss and cuddle them at every opportunity. My kids even notice when we aren't on talking terms and usually force us to kiss and make up. The other day, I was mad with hubby n I used a bad word, and my son who is just 4 corrected me immediately. I was ashamed of myself and apologized to hubby instantly. Remember children learn what they live with. |
Didn't use to believe in this till my husband's best friend died mysteriously. The guy was from a very poor background and hubby said he always swore that he will make a lot of money. Like 3 years before his death, he came to my husband's office and told him that he was tired of struggling with nothing to show that he should introduce him to those guys that were made. He told him that he was ready to pay whatever price to make money. Hubby said he tried to talk to him to be patient but he flared up and told him that he has never known poverty that was why he won't understand his plight. He walked out of his office and stopped communicating with him. By the next year, we were hearing about his escapades. He was buying up houses in Ikeja and Surulere. We were happy for him although he didn't keep in touch. One day out of the blues he called me, he told me that he heard that I ve finally put to bed and that he will make out time to see me n my son. I never saw him. One Dec, hubby collected his number and called him. He sounded excited and gave him his address. Na so we go pay am a visit at his mansion in Lekki. He was so happy to see us but I noticed he wasnt himself any longer. He kept telling chubby " Ol boy u re blessed o! See your wife, see your handsome son". Hubby smiled n asked him what was stopping him from having a wife. He just said " Guy, just forget you no go understand, sebi u no want make serious money" We later left and arranged to see before christmas. 5 days after our visit, a mutual friend call hubby n said he heard that his best friend was very sick that its even rumored that he is dead. Hubby rushed to his house and met his friends brothers like 3 of them. They know him well and greeted him but they refused to let him see his friend. They only told him that he was sick but they were handling everything. hubby asked why the Gen wasn't on and they said it wasn't necessary. He got angry and asked why he wasn't in the hospital and nobody answered. He later called another mutual friend and they both went and got an ambulance but his brothers n later one sister refused. By the next day, the guy died. They insisted that everyone left before his corpse was taken away. Till date hubby believed maybe the guy delved into blood money. |
I sure say una go deny pa bubu get open teeth. Who is the commander in chief of the Nigerian armed forces? Desmond Tutu?
