The correct spelling of that name is "AMAECHI" not "ameachi" and the guy is making an effort which hopefully with time will achieve some things. Its not all eureka here in Port Harcourt. Hold up caused by roads under construction causing transport fares to be increased. The Rumuokwuta - Choba road that was being dualized is now a sea of mud with a lot of gullies at Ozuoba and Mgbuoba portions which are unmoterable. The Rumuola - Rumuokuta dualization too is halfway complete. The flyover at Agip junction at Ikwerre road too is not near complete at all likewise the flyovers at Eleme junction and Eliozu junction. The east - west road together with obi - wali and pyschiatric bypass are simple overwhelmed by the number of cars that have diverted from the construction areas. The contractors don't seem to be in a hurry and when it rains the suffering is tremendous. NEPA is a bit ok, 6 hours guaranteed in 2 days is not a bad idea. The dental hospital which he renovated and expanded at garrison is good so also are his model secondary schools though am a bit sceptical about the design of the buildings. Massive 4 storey structures would have been better than this bungalows we are seeing. Flooding is still a family member of the state roads and so also is the police who is the twin brother causing more hardships to the commuters and increasing the hold up doing what they know best - its now one white by the way no more green.

Government is just talking nonsense; they are trying to say that a professor in UNILAG and a professor in SOKOTO should not earn the same thing. That in fact two people who became professors on the same day in the same dept in UNILAG should not earn the same thing. They started with Federal and State dichotomy. If they are really sincere then such institutions as NUC and JAMB should be scrapped. With this kind of posture from government then this strike is just starting.
