That na wetin too much television dey cause |
Its a nice idea, but its being abused. I remember going to a cardiologist a few months ago, the bill was 80,000 (naira), and i wanted to feel like a "cashless" guy, and wanted to use their POS, only to be told by the cashier, that i would pay charges which was almost 3k (meaning i would be paying 83k). When i asked, i was told that since the bank (shares a common name with Andy "uba" charges them for using the POS, they have decided that its the customer that would bear the charges. I had to go look for the nearest ATM to physically withdraw. The point here is banks are using this to milk people, how can one pay charge of 3k for a 80k deal? |

bebe2: Debunking The MYTH: Can A Human Being Really Be Used For Money Ritual??The question i have always wonted an answer is.... who prints the money that "appears" to these ritualists after their rituals..... is it CBN because i am made to believe that these monies have the i.d number as per the printing and minting security ish.... Abeg anyone wey fit help me out, am all ears. |
I also had same experience late last month in Abuja (along Lugbe Airport Road). Just like you, i was also going to work (around 7.30 am). As they started all their abrakatabra story of millions of dollars in the car boot, i just kept to myself, not saying a word (even when they tried involving me). When i got tired of their yarns, i just told them that i was interested and i had money in my back pocket, but it was too tight for me to bring it out (we were 4 at the back seat). Immediately they dropped me, i just told them "waka" (the hand sign) and thinking i would raise an alarm, they zoomed off. I ended up being the one to "scam" them cus i ddnt pay t.fare, and the place they dropped me was in front of my office. Now, my advice to pple still entering public transport like my humble self (especially taxi's), you can never be too careful in the cab you enter cus there are even cases when some of these pple have a woman carrying a child among them. When you are in a busstop, wait for the cab or bus to call where its going and not you telling them where ur going (when i was in the bus stop and the cab stopped, dey ddnt call any place, i was the one that tols them "area 1".... even if i said wuse, dey would have still picked me) they just stop and wait for the prey to call his or her bus stop and they would tell you that is where they are going to. Even if you mistakenly enter the car and dey start their "stories", do not get involved in their yarns, just keep to your self (even if they ask you a question, just nod yes or no). Do not start shouting cus you might end up being thrown off at the express on high speed (God forbid). Just keep calm, and just think of the safest way to let them stop and you get down and keep walking (i always try sitting close to the door... in case). For the greedy ones who would want to jump at the opportunity once they hear "dollars", just have one thing in mind ..... money does not come that easy ... |
Op... no offence but any babe wey do all these has something to hide.... Maybe she be sickle cell, age isnt on her side and ur her only hope.... Etc. |
great063: Today(29-03-2013)is Good Friday. On this day over two thousand years back, the man Jesus was crucified on a cross at Golgotha(the place of the skull)outside the gates of Jerusalem. As a believer, what striking thoughts about Jesus come to your mind when you consider the sacrifice He made and the price He paid for your salvation?...feel unhindered to share these thoughts.Personally, I feel it shouldn't be celebrated the way we do. Yes Jesus died for our sins. But we should also remember that we humans put ourselves into judgement for "murdering" Him. I call it murder cus all those who called for His death n mocked Him as he was crucified wouldn't sit at the "right hand of God" for killing the saviour who was sent to salvage us. As we celebrate today, all those still sinning (including me) still crucifies Him. Its not about the rice n parties, its a time to reflect on ones life n try to ammend in areas where you fall short. |

Well, by now, we all know that Nigeria has been crowned Champions of Africa. I have also learnt a few lesaons over the past weeks, which one can put in everday life. 1) we started on a bad foot, but progressed over time: we Nigerians critisize leaders or public figures as soon as they make mistakes, and dnt give them the opportunity to make corrections. 2) Made in Nigeria products: many called for Keshi's head after our opening match cus of few mistakes he made, the same way we are quick to condem made in Nigerian products once flaws are found. The truth is that when given the chance and support, we have seen that nigerian coaches perform well, in such manner, we shld try our best to advocate for made in Nigeria products. 3) Pride takes one no where: I never for once imagined Nigeria winning the nations cup without Osaze. He has been an inspiration and motivational player to most football lovers in Nigeria. This is the 1st time he wasnt among the team and see what happened. Just like the Biblical Moses, a little mistake has cost him the promised land (of not lifting the cup) 4) After 19 years... We have finally won the cup once more: no matter how long it takes, we shall get a true demicratic govt one day "against all odds", and we shall once more be the envy of other African countries... Also Arsenal still get hope.... If Naija fit do am in 19 years, Arsenal still get like 9years to prove demselves. |

Please for those who believe to world is coming to an end tomorrow, I just wanna ask..... "by what time exactly would the world expire". Is it by 6am, cus I intend waking up by then to say my morning prayers before doing my house chores. What of 10am?..... Well I would be on my way to the market to buy tomato, chicken and other orishirishi that I would be using for my "xmas rice". I would be dropping my grandma in the village by 2pm, and intend tapping soccer with my cousins (fifa 11 on my xbox 360, or fifa 13 on my cousins chipped ps3), while sipping red~label mixed with alomo bitters. I wld definately be sleeping by 11pm, and wouldnt want to be disturbed by anyone blowing "trumpets" (while praying I dont wake up with hangover) Please someone tell me what time exactly, so that I can "poke" today, this babe across the street that I booked for saturday, so I can pray for forgiveness tonight, and wake up "holy" tomorrow n wait for the "whistle to blow". |
Just heard from an insider that keystone bank has blocked access to 149 staff to their banking network. I just hope its not another method to sack staff members. Please can anyone confirm this? |
Remember when i was about 3yrs. I used to make my elder brothers dance Micheal Jackson for me(wearing only pant only pant), just because they wanted me to give them meat (of which i would have chewed and sucked the "juice", before giving them the "chaff" ![]() |
honeric01: Mr Ibu is funny while Osuofia is abusive, i don't count those who insult or abuse as comedians.Like seriously?.... so ur trying to tell me that Chris rock, Basket mouth, i go dye all don't insult or abuse? |
IBROHIM: Didn't u guys know that muslims are not responsible for this, or do u want to blasphem urselves and hook it on others. Think not drink!Neither was it Christians that was responsible for most of the drawings of videos that cost so many christian lives. The mistake we make is that we take every American to be Christian when in fact, they are mostly Jewish. |

nnecar: Thanks 4 d hot gist, sure u re better now but d tin still cleanse ur system shaaa. More like it was trying to cleanse my life ... |
Red-Light:Thanks for your post, but i think i know the difference between hangover and a fake product . I dont see a reason why 1 bottle would do such thing when On a normal day, i fit drink 2 and a half small bottles without shaking. ![]() |
Alomo bitters is undoubtedly one of the fastest selling brands in Naija. Some claim it cleanses the system, some say it is an "enhancer", while a number of people like me only drink it because it is a cheap way of getting high. My story begins this past Saturday night. I was just scrolling through my phone to see which of my friends i would be scamming for the weekend. I came upon a phone contact of a friend of mine who i knew loved car racing games (i had the recent "need for speed most wanted 2012), so i just called him and said ... "Mr man, i can get you the latest need for speed, all i would need in return is 2 bottles of small alomo and 2k suya from yahuza..... and just as i expected, my guy accepted the deal. I was at his place by 4pm on sunday and before i entered his house, i told him to show me the alomo and suya (while i was still outside)cus i no really trust anyone. He showed me the alomo and suya, i collected the package and i went inside. I drank 1 alomo with a bottle of sprite and i offered him the second alomo, but he told me he was not really feeling fine and didn't feel like drinking. I just drank the 1 bottle and went home happy cus i scammed the guy (i would have given him the game free of charge, but wanted to just test my luck). Woke up on monday morning and went to work. Around 10 am, i noticed i was feeling feverish, i had to put the A.C off, but i was still shaking. Next thing, one kind head ache start, mywhole body was heavy and i had to be going to the toilet to pee every 3 mins. At first i thought it was because of the change in weather, but it kept getting worse. By 2pm, i couldn't see well again and as a typical Nigerian, i started suspecting i had been poisoned or jazzed. Am not the type that likes taking drugs so i just lay in the office and started asking for forgiveness for all my sins (in case i died), that was when i started overhearing some other colleagues discussions. One of them drank alomo over the weekend and threw up for almost 6 hours. The other also said he watched on news where they raided a fake alomo manufacturing lab in Lugbe (Abuja). I then called my friend and asked him what was the last thing he did before falling sick ..... he said he drank alomo with some friends. It was then i knew that it was the alomo i drank that was messing my system up. I rushed home and drank a cup of palm oil (proven to counter poisoning), and licked 2 oranges. All i did all through the night was sweat and piss. E be like say i piss reach 200 times sef. I finally got relieved this morning and i am getting stronger. The bottom line here is that people have found out that alomo is a great market mover. Instead of buying 2 bigstout, people would prefer dring one alomo and any soft dring of their choice. It is far cheaper and you would steal get the same high level (if not more). Because of the rush for the product, some people have started faking it, and these fake ones are poisonous. I drank only one bottle and i almost died, what if i had drank the second? I also learnt that they fake the small bottles the most. Also look out for where you buy anything you drink (be it alomo or soft drink) because there are so many fake stuffs out there. I also feel that people caught faking products (food, drink or drugs) should be executed, because many souls must have gone by taking such fake products. I would also appreciate if you could also share some of your experiences. |
trolling: we came alonee, we depart alone...i guess the fear you have is being alone or isolatedOn the contrary, i love being alone isolated... i could spend a whole week indoors and no one wld even know am around ! ![]() |
safarigirl: Apart from failure (which everyone seems to fear) What would you say is your greatest fear?I remember vividly when i used to cry all the times at night (i was like 8 years old). One day my dad came up to me and asked me why i was crying... i looked up to him and told him... "Am sorry dad, i was only imagining the day you would die"... From his facial expression, i knew he must have said in his mind; "WTF"?. Anyways, more than 20 long years has gone bye, he is still alive and strong, but i am still scared of that fateful day. |

Am a village addict, i travel to the village at any given opportunity. I am from Udi in Enugu state, and i can say that there is no fear of witchcraft from where i am from. I actually keep my annual leave till December so i can spend the whole 30 days (eating abacha and bush meat, and washing it down with nkwu ocha) in my beloved Obinagu! ![]() |
Niflheim: Remember what I said about one cult infiltrating another?..................the British came to nigeria and heard about native ogboni, who meet in the bush, speak yoruba and wear white bedsheet,so they decided to form a new ogboni, whereby they can understand the language and control the members!!!So they got reverend ogunbiyi to form the 'reformed ogboni confraternity',because the anglican church is a freemason lodge masquerading as a church and the british kings and queens are grand masters and grand patrons.the 1st president of R.O.F. was eventually adetokunbo ademola, who studied in oxford, and oxford university has a masonic lodge for students and professors called 'the Apollo University Lodge'.The one at cambridge is called the 'Isaac Newton Lodge'.Guy, all i can say is that you are on point in all ur sayings. The illuminati theory didnt just start in in the 20th or 21th century, it has always been in the shadows. If i tell people on this forum that most of the American president were either Freemasons (Benjamin Fanklyn) or Skulls n Bones (George Bush Snr n Jnr), they would say i am delusional. In the early 2000's, rapper Jay-z used to roll up one leg of his trouser, that is how a new initiate dresses on the night of his initiation. Before the assassination of John Kennedy, he made a speech where he planned to stop the "few men", who were members of a secret organisation that ran america. What of the "Bohemian Grove" where world presidents and influential men make sacrifices to the image of an owl?. Just like you stated, these artists and musicians are just pawns.... they are not in the main picture. These are people that control nations economies, oil... even control wars (they produce ammunition and weapons). Below are a few links which might help a few skeptics. Benjamin Franklin and some other presidents in Masonic attire: http://www.eburgmasons.com/35famousmasons.htm George Bush Snr. with fellow Bones men: http://www.infowars.com/print/Secret_societies/bush_Sab_photo.htm Skulls n Bones: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skull_and_Bones Bohemian Groove: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohemian_Grove Masonic Candidate: http://www.evangelicaltruth.com/chapter3.html |
Maybe i have been reading a different Bible. In Numbers 21:8, The LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live." I feel that cus of the stubborn nature of humans, we tend to disbelieve in the existence of God, that is why images are used. The early Christians, also used the fish sign to identify themselves when Emperor Nero persecuted them. The only problem i do have is the depiction of Jesus... because as Levine says, " Beyond being Jewish, there is no general scholarly agreement on the ethnicity of Jesus" Reference: Amy-Jill Levine in The Historical Jesus in Context edited by Amy-Jill Levine et al. Princeton Univ Press ISBN 978-0-691-00992-6 |
