It's actually Imuetinya or Tinya for short |
LOL. That would be Edo spelled backward |
Na wa oh. I typed in R. A. P. E. and it says despoil instead. Ridiculous. I think it is just crazy to remove the word ""rape"". Seun can you hear me. It is just plain irresponsible. If I did not know better I would say you are sexist and probably even patting rapists on the back by not describing their horrific crime by the name it should be called. |
Fhemmmy:Are you talking legal or what the parents want. There is no age of consent when the the person is a child. It is simply rape in the US if the girl is under 18 whether she said yes or no. I just looked it up and the legal age of consent in Nigeria is actually 13. Ghana is 16. Nigeria as always is usually backwards in most things |
WhyAWhy: You are not serious |
anneduke:Liar. Do you pray to Jesus with that mouth. May he forgive you |
Why is this Tiger acting like an immature spoiled brat. He could have kept some of these endorsements if he just came out and talked about it not hiding away and sending out an email like a punk. His wife is about to clean him out and he is on a yatch somewhere with his buddies. It's like he is so confused without daddy here to tell him what to do |
Chris Brown is too yellow and Usher is okay if someone puts a bag over his head |
Where were the parents of the 16 month old. Was he out just walking around. Poor child. From the post though I don't see man slaughter because it does not sound like she was in someone yard. If it was out on the street then the parents might have been negligent here. I hope she gets a good lawyer. If she was careless she should face the consequences but this article does not really say that |
What office biko. She was married to a governor. Mscheeeeeeeeeeeeeew. Anyway I am happy that she did not sweep the whole prostitution thing under the rug and she made sure it was being talked about. God bless her for that. |
Do something fun that you might not usually do. Do something nice for someone. Focus on you for a while. Focus on positive things. Keep in mind that no matter how things are now that it will change so focus on how good you will feel when you don't feel this way anymore. It is well. |
I thought it was 14. Some mothers are useless and this grown ass man should be in jail with his mother and their voodoo priest. How do you start married like with rape |
It all boils down to Nigeria jaga jaga. If there is a funeral procession in the US then everyone has to let them through. You try not to cut into the procession. There is usually a limit to the cars and there is usually a county or village sticker so you pretty much know when the last car in the procession has passed. You cannot do that in Nigeria. Sticker ke sticker ni. People will just keep their own stickers in the cars and when they see a funeral procession they will stick their own on their windshield and join the procession. I am not saying that it is right to use sirens to transport dead bodies but when a corpse is going from Lagos to the east for burial I don't know how that corpse will not be rotten before it gets to the east. Like I said it all boils down to Nigeria Jaga Jaga. If the roads were perfect a car ride to the east from lagos will not take 24 hours. It would take less than 6 hours to get to the east and the funeral procession can then start at the entrance to the village. |
Okay Bini is not equal Edo so you have to clarify. Edo includes Esan, Etsako, Akoko Edo etc. So which one is your husband. |
really though what happened |
debosky:My point is that listing all the resources is not a good point. Nigeria has always had resources but Nigeria has no idea what to do with it. In fact I have a feeling that if pounds fell from the sky in Nigeria we still will not know how to use it to better that country |
when has resources ever been the problem in Nigeria |
Debosky you are still not making sense. What is there to be proud about being marked as hanging around clubs just to pick up "white women" to go back home with. Someone accuses you of such and y'all run in here admitting to it with pride. It is shameful. Read what other guys wrote about Nigerian women having resentment issues because they refuse to go home with you or give you a hard time. You should be able to deal with it as it is part of the chase. Nigerian guys hardly ever talked to me before I got married. I would see them checking me out but it was usually americans that actually walked up to me and spoke to me with confidence. The sad part is that now that I am married with two children who are usually always with me Nigerian men are more "confident" now. I think they assume that I am not married and have a baby daddy and they feel like that is all they can get. It is not just a club issue it's mainly just laziness and a lack of confidence in my opinion. PS this is not all Nigerian men of course but quite a few as evidenced by most of the posts here on nairaland |
Well that is your family. If you want tradition to dictate your life then that's fine. Some people prefer to be in control of their own lives. It is almost 2010 and it's about time we stopped using tradition as a crutch |
You can take them out of the motor park but you cannot take the motor park out of them |
All the single ladies I hope you all are listening. Stop limiting yourselves to Nigerian men. Don't say I said it just listen to them say it here. Don't make the mistake of lowering your standards just to hook an insecure Nigerian man. Be yourself and you will meet the one that deserves you |

http://www.goldenlacewigs.com/ That's her website. Are you in Nigeria because I think she might have a distributor there also. Let me know |
r231:Did tradition put food on the table? |
Wow. Some people are ruthless. Now you see why it is a good idea to just leave this animal alone. People like this will destroy your soul if you let them. Don't let him ruin the rest of your life. People like this always pay for the evil they do. Just move on. His time will come |
Why does she have to be there? She can honor his memory anyway she wants. She does not have to do it with them especially if it is true that they never liked her. Should she do it for the rest of her life. What is your recommendation on when she should stop doing a big memorial? Please leave the woman alone |
You are not ready to marry. Why are your parents dictating your life? How old are you? The advice I can give you is that parents like yours can cause problems in a marriage. Statements like you cannot leave this house etc basically means that they intend to be too involved in your life and with the way you are behaving I don't think you are strong enough to put them in their place |
rotflmao. I have heard it all. |
Stand up to your mother. Don't rush into anything. Marriage is not something you do just to get someone off your back. 29 is not a big deal |
