Ok. You are going to believe anything you want to believe. He is either withholding information or he is just plain lying. If she was bossy when she was making the money and he sat back and just said "yes ma" then that's his problem. Let's assume that was true (which I know is not because he would have come right out and said it) then it is fair to say that now that he is making the money he wants to pay her in her own coin. He is not saying that she is jealous, he is saying that she wants to be in more control of the money. That's his complaint. If she was a bossy person then he would not dwell only on the money issue. Maybe I am simply speaking from a married persons point of view. The story just seems to simple and one sided. I am 100% sure of that.

Are you people deliberately missing the point or what. When she made the money, did she make him aware of what was coming and going? If she was then he needs to do the same thing. If he is doing that then maybe the issue is bigger than money. We know money can be here today and gone tomorrow. If he is not being fair then she will become resentful. The story just seems incomplete to me.

Does not answer my question. He has not made any complaints about when she had money. That leads me to believe that she did not stress him about the money and he had as much control of it as she did. If he has not given her the same courtesy with his money then he should expect trouble

I think this is easier said than done to be honest. Also when you have hated someone for so long it is hard to say forgive because that is really all you know how to feel for the person. I think if someone really dear to you does something that puts you in the frame of mind it is easier to literally forgive them and forget. That is forgive them and forget them. It is hard to forgive a hateful person that hurt you and then keep them in your life. Sometimes it is just easier to keep hating them

Sad to hear this. I wonder why so many parents make this mistake. Even when you forgive sometimes it might sneak into your mind and you wonder why a parent would do such a thing. Try to forgive him sha since he is at least remorseful

agathamarie I agree with you 100%. He is disrespecting his wife by ogling. If he will do that when she is around then he will do worse when she is not there. If my brother was with me and embarrasses himself like that I will even call him out. I think she should just have the talk with him. Okay what's up with UBTH now. Times have certainly changed because UBTH was the place to go back then if there was a serious problem. I have to say that it also depends on who is caring for the patient. I remember when I went to home in 03 and went to my old high school, my teacher told me how my mom saved her life. She told me that she got an infection after child birth and she was dying but my mom refused to let her die (my mom was a senior nursing sister then) and kept getting more and more antibiotics in her against doctors orders LOL. that's my mom for you. When she feels she is right then she is right. Needless to say saved her life. Without those antibiotics she would have been dead within 24 hours. Many other women were not as fortunate

Well this will help weed out the bad ones. The ones that are really supposed to be butchers can now work at the meat shop. My cousin and another woman I know both came to the US to find that they were basically butchered by their so called doctors in Nigeria. My cousin who just turned 40 actually had to get a hysterectomy. Thank God she already has 3 kids. The other lady was so butchered up inside that she was even lucky that towards the end of her pregnancy she developed high blood pressure and had to be admitted in Chicago and the baby actually started coming out from the scar tissue of the earlier butchering she got in Nigeria. Had she not been on admission at the hospital she or the baby would never had made it. In both cases the doctors here said the could not believe how badly they were chopped up inside. Let us not talk about my distant cousin wife (27 year old young lady) who kept complaining that she could not feel the baby. Of course they sent her back home. It was not until she pus and blood started coming out of her ears, nose and basically every opening in her body did anybody do anything. The baby had basically died and got rotten inside her. She died. Unnessasary deaths. Doctors need to be held accountable

I have told off my mom before but it is rare. She tends to be stubborn about a lot of things but I have come to learn that she is actually very sensitive. I cannot stand my husbands mother but funny enough I will find it hard to tell her off. I have been tempted but she is elderly and I know that sometimes old age makes some people behave abnormal
