went back and counted and I actually counted 11 and why they are mostly black I don't know. I have 1 red that I also have in black, 1 gold kimono sash (I actually got that one on ebay), a couple with the oversized buckle and some simple wide ones. I only wear a few of them regularly. I think I am going through an accessories evolution though. Not to divert the thread it seems lately I either want to carry a clutch or carry nothing at all. I am wondering if maybe because my boys are a little older now and they can carry their own stuff in their back packs I am now actually dressing for myself. I actually forced myself to carry this beautiful oversized framed purse that I used to adore. Yes o I said forced LOL

I honestly have more belts than I can count off the top of my head but if I wear to make a rough guess I will say maybe 15 of the wide ones. I have a few skinny ones but I have only ever worn those when I wear my pencil skirt

Statistics have it that 80% of the Haitians are CATHOLICS while the rest are 20% (protestants, Muslims etc). And still 70% of them practise voodooism so making 60% of the so called Christians HYPOCRITES. Not too suprised they are hit by a quake.

In fact that even makes me hurt for them more because despite being surrounded by dead bodies and some of them with limbs that were rotting they showed them on tv eyes raised to heaven in worship to the same God that these people claim brought this upon them.

Physiotherapist did not go to school to give men hard ons. they are trained professionals. It is the man's attitude that bothers his wife. He has said as much here. I do not like female obgyns myself and will not go with a femal obgyn unless I simply have no choice. I can understand why some men will not be comfortable taking of their clothes and letting another man put their hands all over them LOL (I would pay good money to see my husband go through that) but my point is that this particular gentleman took it to a sexual place in his mind. This is a list of some charities and what they do. You can use this to figure out what you would want your money used for. If you already picked a charity that is not on the list that is also okay. Yele.org is my favorite but not on this list. Bottom line is give. These ones have great experience in the kind of situation going on in Haiti


American Red Cross - The ARC is sending tarps, hygiene items and cooking sets for approximately 5,000 families and is helping the injured who may need blood. Thousands of local Red Cross volunteers are already aiding their fellow Haitians and ARC Disaster management specialists are scheduled to be on the ground soon.

Americares - Sending $5 million of medical aid to survivors including antibiotics, pain relievers, bandages and medical supplies for survivors with trauma injuries.

CARE - Deploying emergency team members to Port-au-Prince and will be distributing food. Over 100 staff members on the ground coordinating with U.N. agencies.


Convoy of Hope - Setting up an emergency command center just outside Port-au-Prince where food, water and supplies are being distributed.

Direct Relief International - Arranging an emergency airlift containing over $2 million in medicines and medical supplies that will depart on January 15.

Doctors Without Borders - Currently treating people on the ground and will be operating an inflatable hospital.


Food for the Poor - Accepting cash donations, canned eats, fish, condensed/evaporated/powdered milk, and water. Almost 100 containers of urgently needed medical supplies, rice and canned food from Food For The Poor are ready to be distributed to the people of Haiti. Another 300 containers are planned as a part of the initial relief effort.


Partners in Health - Has been working in Haiti for 20 years. They are organizing medical personnel volunteers and gathering supplies.


Save the Children - Has worked in Haiti for 25 years with 100 staff on the ground. Will be providing food, water, shelter and child-friendly spaces. Because Save the Children's offices did not suffer the structural damage of other non-governmental organizations, other aid workers have taken refuge in the agency's compound, where operations are being run out of offices and tents.


Water Missions International -Raising funds so they can directly provide safe water to earthquake survivors. Has full-time staff on the ground in Port-au-Prince and are poised to respond as quickly as possible to the survivors of the quake.

If you want to give food you can look at your local charities. We have a church on my area that is sending people to Haiti with food supplies in a week so check your local churches and such

Her mother has to put the fear of God in her. Let her feel what it would feel like if she were an adult and caught stealing by the police. It has to be drastic. There are million things that she can do to her. Send her to the village for 3 months. Let her fetch water from the river, let her hand wash her clothes, let her live for a while with her total sense of comfort and stability stripped from her then she will realize that she is not entitled to everything. I have seen adults that steal now because they always had access to money and when it was not there still feel that they are entitled to it. You can call it terrorism but she needs to feel that fear of giving her freedom away. She will buckle up quickly. I don't believe that talking to her will fix this.

The official death toll is at about 50000 people and can even be as much as 200,000. Do you get it? Can you get that fact into your thick skull?
