Happy, happy birthday! |
Na wah for you o. No link, no nada. |
paparazzi1987: Hello guys, please i really need your advice..Stewardship has it's principles and returns. Stay back for a bit more. Learn the ropes but be diligent. Try as much as possible to venture into your own grounds if you wish but be careful of conflict of interest. I believe if well planned, you can actually go a good pace with your project and really have something tangible to start with. However, nothing really stops you from quitting though as an idea is worth so much gold... Not a must but labour market freshers may enter trouble easily out of exuberance. |
@timecop28 A label don't necessarily have to have a recording studio. That a studio has been setup also don't translate automatically to being a label though the two factors are mutually exclusive. Also, not singling out any of the aforementioned as having proper structure, only a handful really do have a true record company blueprint. Unfortunately, distribution seems to be the exclusive reserve of Alaba even with all the good "attempts" by Soforte & Iman /Trybe... A&R in most cases is chiefly executed by excitement, sentiments, nepotism... Many dey try shall especially with all the risks but truly, we have very few. Can be counted on the fingers of one hand. |
Hi NLders. I need a stockbroker to help get the values of some little shares (2 companies actually) I bought early 2000's & possibly sell off. Post your contact here please. |
Post your email here |
Thanks @dominique. I just felt that there may have been gross incompetence at play if not foul play as well. I'm considering dropping the whole proposed inquisition and let the dead sleep as you said. One last thing though, there were at least 3 or so other bodies (among a host of others) in the morgue when ours was deposited and my uncle and I noticed no such deterioration on those. Oh well... |
@dominique Thanks But please help me more here, were the eyes supposed to be open after 3 months later? Also, after a so-called full embalment, was the condition supposed to be that bad. Please note that other family members (at least 2) observed the same thing and they have very well seen corpses in the past as they are well advanced in age. Could be all ignorance on our part but just saying... I thought I had seen (on TV at least) corpses kept in excess of three months that still look like human beings during burial rites like presidents and all. Your opinion again... Thanks. |
There's a "brand" I've been working on 5 years now, has had continental exposure and is in demand. Refreshing, non-cliche and there's definitely a strategy for good ROI. Interested, email me at richgamutonline@yahoo.com. |
A close family member died i November '12. I transferred the body from one town to the other after a week as the original morgue was rumored to have an incompetent mortician. Also, because the body would eventually be buried in the town it was transferred to. When I got to the new morgue, I paid for full embalment again as the mortician there claimed the first guy did a shoddy job. An aunt vouched for this new mortician saying he had handled her grandma... She also assured me over time that the body was in perfect shape on several checks. Come February 2013, the day of lying in state. A dead person that had his eyes closed when I transferred the body in November had his eyes open, his lips seemed charred or dried, greatly emaciated and the complexion, stark black!!! Is this normal? Could it be the eyes were plucked out and used as this was an eminent personality or just not taken care of well. Asides the annoying cotton wool in the nose, is that of the mouth necessary too? Mind you, the mouth was closed when I deposited the body. Please help before I insist an investigation is launched as this may entail a body buried a week ago to be exhumed. Thanks. |
I agree with @Igwe. Additionally before you submit the proposal, make amends and if possible, improve on it. Let the similarity be there but let it also have a revised more interesting propositions...Next time, guard your ideas jealously. It's worth more than money. |
OK o. I give up. I'm burning $200 travelers cheques since noone is helping!!! |
Help o! No bank wants to change these cheques for me. I even wanted to open a dorm account with $100 and cash the other, no way. What now? |
Please I need to change $200 Thomas Cook travelers cheques and the "aboki's" are saying thrash like it's N40 to a Dollar? In the early 200's, I had received payment from the US in th UK via a traveler in these cheques and changed them back in Nigeria at near the going rate then. Please does anyone have info on where to get these changed satisfactorily, a bank? |
Rarely. That's because we don't have that digital buying culture yet. Problems include internet access and payment methods. However, it don't mean there are no sales at all. Spinlet for instance seems to be working but I can't really confirm. Ring back caller tunes and ringtones are sales are growing but for your song to sell well, there must be must be ample publicity and it has to be appreciated. If it is iTunes and the like, it's a bit harder for us peeps down here. Well, if you promote well sha, there is a chance it will sell. Go ask Iyanya... |
lynpetra: My Godfather just told me that Timi and his wife were on that helicopter@lynpetra Wrong!!! The guy and wife didn't board. He's tweeted that God saved him and his management have confirmed he's hale and hearty. |
@ypzilanti Hian!!! Abeg o. Mo sori gan. I'm in no way related to your acidtalk o and if I offended you. Just was looking to confirm if what I thought I had read in a so called white paper was Azazi. I'm not even sure. Not ready for all that bashing. |
@pretty_boi Don't mean to disrespect a dead man or spoil your reverence of him but is he not the supposed gun runner? Not sure but there was a white paper a while back on him (not sure again) and it was quite revealing. I think. All the same, he was human, R.I.P. to Azazi and Yakowa. |
if they were sincere, they would have even shown the actual plane or at the least given the type and model in d promos! hia, anythin goes! @OP, u for move dis topic go somewhr else o. |
It's actually French "répondez s'il vous plaît". OP got it! N.B.: note bien; note well. |
@onegai hello,,, heard nothing yet from you my email is up here mail me |
Please put up a viewable picture of it. |
Davido's album is out. Why is he in the next rated category? His album (O.B.O) release party was done a month or so. I even have a copy. He should be revelation of the year or something not next rated since the category is supposedly meant for artists who are officially unreleased. |
@djmally I'm into creating same too. Let's see if there's something we can dom @onegal, you too. Please send comtact to richgamutonline@yahoo.com. Thanks. |
@bolajibaok I have it on tape. Will take a while say a few days for me to digitize it as I nod to find it in my tape archive which will be by weekendm Bear with me. |
What, I ask, is the originality in@the works of P-Square? Is it Usher-like dance moves, or sampling countless songs on their mediocre albums? My friend please open a dictionary and read the meaning of original(ity).
God bless u well well |
Give me some time, like 3 or 4 days... |
mruknaijaboy: to me I think the artist in Nigeria who have the most longevity is P-Square as they have the most originality, Wizkid and D'Banj I can see them dying out in the next 5 years, but then again most artists have a successful lifespan of 5 years anywayLongetivity, yes; originalityn hmmm... |
Nice song generally. Vocal ability of the artiste is decent bt I'm gettin that feelin that he's really in the song. A vocal coach may be employd for a revoicin if he won't get vocal trainin altogethr. D autotune should be properly tuned and at the rap bit, it was unnecessary. Nice delivery anyway, rap and singin.D producer drop and label drop @ d beginnnin can be left out for a deeply r&b song IMHO. Dont crucify me 4 dat. Jus my opinion. D production is actually on point. I like the r&b and d calculated (and brief) afropop fusion The lyrics are not bad albeit some nursery/cliche line and rhymes like ......she look so fly ........she feel so shy ......hips dont lie etc Again, saved by delivery though. Not sounding like d average naija thingy Keep it up! |
Plz get a BB way below a Porshe level (mayb BB7 - don't know how much it costs tho'). Porshe will not give u nada!!! Even for the people that can afford it, it is not a wise investment unless you have at least a N10m account or more. The so called prestige is not worth it below that. |
