Have you produced the program as a pre-recorded one or is it supposed to be live?

When you say "what organizations will help me package the advert", do you mean adverts provided by potential sponsors or organizations that can produce adverts?

If you have sponsors, they would likely have had ads produced already and you'll just feature them at the required spots during the program. However, if you are to produce ads/jingles, several individuals/agencies/production houses can come up with creatives according to a brief and produce them for your sponsors. Of course, if it is live or pre-recorded, you'll most likely have to produce a pilot for your pitch unless you are sponsoring it yourself in which case you may not need ads unless you have a produce/service to sell.

Getting radio stations to play isn't a big problem once you buy airtime but that could be costly depending on duration of the show 10',15', 30'... frequency and spread (No. of stations). The costs vary and getting the rates are no secret. I can furnish you with rate cards if you wish but suggest you buy media through a professional or an agency.

A pianist is usually a trained performer and has put in a lot to understand music theories and can easily read music score sheets. A keyboardist on the other hand is a performer that can indeed play the piano but may not be so trained. He or she could even have learnt by ear but some keyboardist do have the skill of reading music sheets as well as they may have invested time in music theory. You are more likely to see a pianist play at proper musical set up like an orchestra and so on and more likely to see a keyboardist running his skill at a concert with a band... My two kobo.

Yeah, they can take up your time o but the way I do it is sometimes one episode at a time. Mainly after a whole days work and I use it to relax. Sometimes I finish one season in a month or two!

Do you mean they had their run and ratings dropped so they had to be rested? That's usually the case but to tell you the most painful one for me, CANE. Kai, I still dey find am even though research states that it was rested after the first season.

Thank God 24 feature movie is said to be in the works.

LOST lost direction so I won't miss it as I could only stomach 2 seasons before it began to really really bore me. At a point, it seemed the writers were the same ones handling TINSEL at the peak of it's boring run.

I spend my time indoors reading online,brainstorming,solving problems and developing new ideas and concepts for new projects/inventions. My staying indoors to think and put my brain to work,led me to creating an electronic/mobile hospital,a security system that repels intruders and alerts police authorities of a possible robbery attempt,security system that detects movement of explosives,etc. Unfortunately,these ideas are capital intensive and are not easy to develop. Not all introverts are timid and suffer from low self esteem/depression. Some are geniuses in the making and need absolute tranquility to bring out the best of their creative skills. I'm in that category. I don't like noise or being around noisy people. I love quiet and serene environments. I once showed someone my crib and he was shocked. Hian, That was the weakest IMHO. The was little direction, there was little synergy save for MI & Ice Prince bit, in fact, everyone was in their own world to the detriment of the song. Even Bez & Nneka no free shine... there was a critical musical coordination issue.

Last year's was on point and the video also well complimented the music.

'Solar Plexus' may not have been successful truly but I think Don Jazzy producing other people is a good thing and it's way too early to say he's failed. DJ Premier was not meant to produce Jeru Da Damaja & Guru alone. My only fear is that he may be a bit too expensive for most people giving his financial status in the last couple of years...

If the tale that the Loya Milk deal is just N5m is untrue and is much more as expected, then his being endorsed by them is a good deal on his part even though I can't imagine what went through the mind of the brand consultants that proposed that; there's little brand 'alignment' here as an Omawumi (or Cossy *LOL*) would have been better understood. But it's yielding dividends no doubt.

His Samsung deal is a really important and economically fulfilling venture that I trust will continue.

D'Banj has likewise done well for himself. His shows have been quite a success and has been severally endorsed. His music may lack that wow factor since after the split but his brand is definitely intact perhaps due to his enchanting charisma.

There no victor nor vanquished for now and we need not expect that if we are to be fair to these individuals.

I have thought about this a while now. IMO, the genre is not the main point here except some certain forms of like black, extreme and death metal... but the borrowing of "worldly" melodies. For instance, using "Oliver Twist" melody for church music, I
think is unduly brazen & disrespectful to Christianity.

If however, reggae, hip hop, afro beat, soft rock and such in their moderate forms are used to compose glorifying and edifying music, again IMHO, I think it's ok.
I left out some forms of rock like the metal variation 'cos at. first listen alone, it feels like a demon jumped at me. I may be wrong.
