We are currently expecting our first child , she should give birth within a this month.

She has requested money for baby things and I have given her over 400k but she hasn’t both the basic things she needs. She usually go with her mom to the market to get the things but they haven’t even both the things the baby will need in the hospital.

You should have given them the money in tranches of say 100k, 50k and the rest. They are reaping you off. There are some mandatory things you will take to the hospital which don't cost much.
If everyone is buying baby stuff for over 400k, how about those that don't have the means? How did their baby survive and was given birth to and grew up? They are telling lies to you.

I remember how happy I was when I found out I was pregnant!. I hurriedly went and registered for antenantal and I carry out my first Ultrasound same time and it shows 6weeks gestational age which was accurate based on my calculation of my LMP.

After 2weeks and some days, I started having light bleeding and I rush to the hospital to know what was wrong because I try to eat healthy and also try not to stress myself so what is happening?!!. The nurse i met ask me to go for another Scan to be sure the baby is Ok. I went for the scan and that was how my world came crumbling down on me.

Based on the scan result, my baby stopped growing at week 6, I am already 9weeks gone while my baby is still measuring 6weeks just like the first scan I had, and BLIGHTED OVUM was written as the cause. After 2 day, I went to another diagnosis center and was advice to evacuate because I have missed abortion.

I did the D&C a week later and it was painful because I wasn't given any analgesic... My problem right now is that I have been bleeding since the D&C and it comes with cramps at time. The first 2 days, the bleeding was light but now its looking like my normal period bleeding with little blood clot.

Before you advice me to go to the hospital, I have... The Doctor wants to observe me for a week and then give me injection to stop the bleeding but am feeling is not proper, the bleeding should stop by itself if its just ordinary bleeding, why injecting me to stop it

I will be going to the hospital tomorrow to take the injection, pls I want to know if that is the right step to take and has anyone had same experience?

The D&C wasn't done properly, that's why you're still bleeding. They're suppose to give you some drugs to flush out everything. It's the remaining particles in there that's coming out like small lump.

I have a friend, who wanted to have only 4 kids. He's now counting six and will count more because he has refused to have a male child.

When the wife gave birth to the fifth child, then my friend was very anxious to having a male child. But as soon as the news got to him that his wife gave birth to another female child, he send a message to his wife at the hospital not to come to his house with the child. He said his wife has a curse on her, that is why she refused to give birth to a male child. We had to beg him before he allowed his wife home.

The issure now is that his wife just gave birth to the sixth child again today, and another female child. He his just very confused right now.

Since you started dating, have you visited him in his house? Or you've being meeting in joints and lounge for hangouts. If he is reluctant in taking you to his house, it means he is squatting with some friends and that's why he isn't taking you there. It's too expensive for a HSE 1-3 NEBOSH IGC is 250k and above depending on the agency that's training you. Better do NEBOSH

If your vehicle is in the flood in Lagos and you haven't started your engine yet, Don't start it..

Even if the vehicle is submerged and the water goes down, its likely water has made it's way into the engine (depending on the vehicle make).

The first thing to do is open your engine air filter compartment and bring out the air filter element to check for moisture, if it's moist or damp, do not crank the engine or attempt to start it at all.
Allow the water to go down, tow the vehicle away if possible. Get your mechanic to drain the engine oil and the transmission fluid. Do not take the risk of driving the vehicle at all.

Let the mechanic disconnect the fuel sending unit (fuel pump), pull out the spark plus one after the other and then crank the engine. You are making sure that water in each cylinder is blown out of the engine by the compression/exhaust stroke. Once completed for all the cylinders, connect the fuel pump (easiest way is to remove the relay or the fuse) and start the vehicle. It may idle rough, leave it and do not accelerate/rev the engine. Allow the vehicle to idle for thirty (30) minutes.

Once the vehicle is up to operating temperature, engage the gears after the other. From P to R wait 5s, R to N wait 5s, N to D wait 5s and N to R wait 5s and R to P. After this you can drive your vehicle.

Replace both the transmission fluid and engine oil after a week of driving depending on how milky they look.

One day, his roommate sent for me, he said they couldn't sleep the night before because my brother was talking to himself. Before we knew what was happening, my brother was getting violent and so we took him home and he never got back to finish school.
I proceeded with my education and finished. Went for NYSC. While serving the nation, My Mom died. When I got home, she'd been buried.
But my brother was still mad.

I later got job, took my brother to a Psychiatric hospital and the doctor after examining him said he is Schizophrenic. He was asked to stay in the hospital.
I paid. He then stayed there for one month. When I came to visit him, he pleaded with me to take him home that he didn't like it there.

So I took him home. Every month, I buy drugs for him and he gets injected. He usually puts up a fight but with the help of my younger brother, neighbors and a certain nurse, he receives the injection, forcefully and against his will.
Often times, he pleads with me not to inject him, the very time I obliged him, he scattered things, didn't allow the neighborhood sleep, talked throughout some nights and wouldn't eat sometimes. He looked really sick then but with the injection, one will hardly know he's not normal.
I told him that I won't let him miss his injection ever again.

Now, on Monday, my younger brother woke up and was unusually quiet. He normally wakes up and begins to play music with his phone or he will turn to football channel and watch until I leave for work. After some hours, I asked my Dad if he feels he's okay, My Dad said that he wants to be quiet and that I should let him be.

Then, that night, around 4am, my brother began to talk. He was shouting and some of the things he said were not coherent. He talked out of point. I and my Dad, with my elder brother surrounded him and I couldn't help crying when my Dad was cautioning him to keep quiet and he refused.
Neighbours thought it was my elder brother's voice they'd heard that night but by the time they heard in the morning that it was my younger brother, they visited my Dad in the evening. By then, my brother was still talking and even burnt his clothes yesterday.
My Dad got a few guys to chain him because he was violent yesterday when I left the house.
I know the problem is spiritual. I have prayed, fasted for my elder brother and now this!
I'm so unhappy.

N.H. Toyota is recalling nearly 280,000 Venza SUVs in the U.S., Thursday, April 15, 2021, because a wiring problem could stop the side air bags from inflating in a crash. The recall covers Venzas from the 2009 through 2015 model years.

DETROIT (AP) — Toyota is recalling about 373,000 Venza SUVs worldwide because a wiring problem can stop the side air bags from inflating in a crash.

The recall covers Venzas from the 2009 through 2015 model years, including nearly 280,000 in the U.S.

Documents posted Thursday by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration say wires to the air bag sensor in the driver’s side door can become damaged with regular use. That could stop the side and curtain air bags from deploying when needed.

Toyota said in documents that it received 31 field reports and 56 warranty claims in the U.S. due to the problem.

Toyota will inspect the wires and replace them if needed at no cost to owners. The recall is expected to start May 31.

When you get to their office along Aba road, those guys at the gate will approach you and tell you that there is a place you will get it same day. When we got there, you will see NIMC staffs running their thing there, making money for themselves while people are at their office struggling under the sun to get it done.

And that's the reason why you have to be patient and endure everything. The only thing that should join you and then is just greeting. If you come back and the offer you food, eat if they don't, do the needful. Tell your brother too that they have not being giving you food in the house for him to be aware. Avoid those ladies as their sister that is married to your brother is instigating then against you. At the end, you will be the one to lose as they have nothing at stake.
