Even if it is UNN, she will soon understand the school that she is in after this their ongoing first semester exams.

She isn't studying Medicine & Surgery but Medical Laboratory Science (MLS).

Your analogy is faulty for these reasons;

1) Both China and Taiwan were one country with only one Government before 1949 and are still one country but with two different Governments since 1949.

2) The Communists rebels waged war against the Gov't of China (just as Taliban did in Afghanistan and Boko Haram is doing in Nigeria) in the 1940s.

3) By 1949, the Communists succeeded in controlling about 90% of the country while the original Government shifted to and only able to control the province of Taiwan.

Up til today, both parties are still claiming to be the legitimate Government of China.

4) The Official name of Taiwan is REPUBLIC OF CHINA.

5) There was never a case of military invasion by a FOREIGN country.

Elections aren't won or lost by arguing on social media.

You need to join a political party now! Start mobilizing for a candidate that can help you achieve what you want. Canvass as many people as possible to go and get there PVCs and come out to vote on the election date for your preferred candidate.

It's futile trying to stop a (formidable) candidate on Nairaland.

Had it been that this was done before 1923, it may succeed but nowadays, it's no longer acceptable in International laws to expand territories and/or exercise political authority over a territory through military invasions, disregarding the current boundaries.

The closest you can do to get those territories is to push for a POLITICAL solution (provided there is a problem of boundary disputes between the two new Republics) in which the two islands will vote in a referendum whether they want to join Igbo Republic or remain as parts of Ijaw Republic. A major drawback to this approach is 'do you share boundaries with these Islands'?

It's very difficult for one country to be laying claims to parts of another country that doesn't share boundaries with it.

For instance, if Nigeria is laying claims to Accra, because the early settlers of Accra, the Ga-Adangba people said they migrated from Ile-Ife, the world court will ask which part of Nigeria borders Accra?

World court don't adjudicate on petty topics like ethnic Identities. However , they rule on LAND matters.
In this case, the deciding factor is 'who is exercising or had exercised political power over the land in question' languages spoken don't hold water.

Bayelsa state is a living and visible proof that access to sea and natural resources doesn't build a working state but brains.

In terms of Human Development Index (HDI), GDP, Yearly Budgets and IGR, many States are ahead of Anambra sir.

Rattled by the question, Gowon, Murtala Mohammed, Olusegun Obasanjo, Martin Adamu, Theophilus Danjuma, Hassan Katsina with the tacit approval of Sultan Mohammed II and Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano swung into action. Gowon wanting to score a point did not even discuss this with the then Supreme Military Counsel, though they quietly approved of it.

He contacted Alhamadu Ahidjo, and the Meeting was scheduled in Marua Town of Southern Cameroon in August 1968, that day Gowon, using stone, standing on Cameroon side “threw a stone” saying that wherever the stone landed should be given to Cameroun, west ward to the Peninsula. The stone landed at the very point of entry of the Peninsula called Reo Del Ree.

Hence, General Yakubu Gowon, on the advice of Obafemi Awolowo, used a stone to sell Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon. Others is history.

The Anglo-German agreement of 1913 drew the boundaries between Nigeria and Cameroon. This agreement placed Bakassi on Cameroonian side.
The Agreement wasn't fully enforced when German was defeated in the WW-1 which happened between 1914-1918 following which Germany was striped of her colonies in Africa (including Togo, Cameroon, Namibia). The victorious powers (UK and France) simply shared the colonies of Germany among themselves.

In 1995, Cameroon took Nigeria to court to take possession of Bakassi based on the boundaries agreement of 1913 and the court ruled in their favour in 2006.

An estimated 200,000 soldiers of the Nigerian Army fought during the civil war, most of whom were youngmen between the ages of 18-30 years. These were young men with high testoterone, already used to sex , taking away from their families to fight in the war.
The FG made provisions for their feedings, shelter, weapons and healthcare but made no provisions for their sexual needs.

Who did these soldiers sleep with during the 30 month period of the war? It will be very naive to assume that they observed sexual abstinence during this period.

The truth of the matter is that these soldiers slept with women in the areas of their operations and these inevitably led to pregnancies in some cases.

It's a known fact that during wars, the soldiers sleep with the women they see around especially in conquered territories and some girls/women deliberately provide sexual services for the soldiers in exchange for certain favours like protection, getting a pass to travel to some areas to see their loved ones or getting access to food and some relief materials.

It's an unpalatable fact that we may not like to discuss but it happens.

So many bad things happen during wars, so we should always pray not to witness another war.

3) Buhari wasn't the president then, so his achievements or lack of it weren't what were being tested.

4) What percentage of the voting populace use MMA? Most of the people who use the airport don't even come out to vote on election days. They will be watching DSTV in their air-conditioned apartments in Ikoyi or following things online.

If you doubt me, compare and contrast the numbers of total votes cast in Banana Island/VGC Vs Ajegunle/Iwaya.

5) When Jonathan saw the hand-writings on the wall, the election was postponed and he relocated to the S/West with millions of dollars which he was sharing from palaces of traditional rulers to churches.

6) President Jonathan started with enormous good will but he didn't prepare well for the office ,hence he didn't achieved much as he ought to.

The state Cross River has a population that's majority pro Biafra, also not densely populated, so with a series of tactical manoeuvres, the Nigerian army in the state can be decisively beaten and all the territories East of the River Cross occupied.
With the occupation of the territories sandwiched between the River and the Ambazonian/Cameroonian border, the invading army can rest and regroup for further offensives West across the River into AK, Abia and Ebonyi states.

Have you planted enough crops to feed your people and made adequate plans for the supplies of medicines in case another blockage is effected ,so you won't be accussing your opponents of not feeding you during the war?

In a presidential election, most people vote for a candidate because of certain interests and these interests varies from one voters to another.

For ordinary citizen like you, who don't benefit anything from Government, your interest may be limited to seeing your tribal man in Aso-Rock or prevent a candidate you think worked against your tribal man in the past.

For many other voters, their Interests may be far more than this tribal sentiments. For instance, some people will vote for APC because they are beneficiaries of N-POWER or because they think that the chances of their town's man becoming a Governor on the platform of APC is brighter if APC win the presidential election.
