Specialme01: Let's check this out.. Does it mean that the result sheet that was prepared in the 1960s carries 20..... At the space for "year of exams". Someone should plz correct me.. "that implies the result sheet wasn't prepared for the 19.... It was anticipated for persons born at the 21st century" There was nothing like Katsina State in 1962. This document is issued by the appropriate authority to State the results of the candidate. It's not the same thing as the results of the examinations released by Cambridge. |

GeorgeTheCoder: So Buhari can truly be ranked equal to a prof in your estimation ?
Dunce. Dunce, you compare likes with likes. You can compare Buhari with a particular named processor (e.g Prof Ambali, Prof Shirez, Prof Rahul or Prof Cohen) and not with professors in general. Buhari is a person while professor is a rank. Compare ranks with ranks and not an individual HOLDER of a rank in the military with ranks in the Academics. |

viyon02: olodo, your conversion is wrong and is never done anyway. Abacha was never in anyway near to msc academically but he was major general in minitary a very high ranking position in minitary. What can you say about that? Olodo, it's military and not minitary. Professorship is the the highest rank in Academics and a General is the highest rank in the Army (except in certain circumstances when a Field Marshall is appointed). A Professor knows so much about a little aspect of human endeavours (his field). However this doesn't makes him an expert or even knowledgeable in all areas. A General in the Army knows so much about Military matters. In the Military, there are different sections like Signals & Communication Corps, Medical Corps, Engineering Corps, Armoured Corps etc. A Professor of Molecular Biology knows so much about chemical reactions at cellular levels but may not know anything about Military Strategies, Administration of Criminal Justice or Aerodynamics. |

We are in twenty first century For God sake still parading questionable waec president, we can't move an inch. Buhari retired as a Major-General in the Army. This rank is equivalent to Associate Professor in the Academics. A General in the Army is not just an educated but also an administrative post. |

He even failed maths in his forged result, no wonder he can't calculate the future of Nigeria from the highest seat.
He even wore a cap and glasses in a passport photograph.
These Buharist take us for granted oo This is not a certificate but statement of results release by the school upon request by the candidate. The picture affixed was the picture of Buhari when the statement of results was issued and not the picture of Buhari when the exam was written. The attachment of pictures to results of examinations is a very recent policy. There was nothing like that when I wrote my own SSCE. |

I'm sure you now know that you are dumb by default. The billions of dollars spent by Nigeria to be fighting Boko Haram/ISWAP since 2009 is enough to start and develop a brand new country. I think it's better for Nigeria to carve out Borno and Yobe States for ISWAP/Boko Haram to form their own country and rule as they like for 25 years, after which the citizens of these States should vote to decide whether they want to continue as Boko Haram/ISWAP Republic or they want to re-join Nigeria. |

If they keep on importing without anything to export, how are they going to build their economy since they only import... Nigeria gave them the dollars they use to buy goods in china, thereby making the forex so scarce... The question will be, if they give them biafra with the five states and nigeria govt decided to build the Trump wall and declare no flight zone, how will they able to survive since they cant leave their five states or enter. You are underestimating the resilient power of man to survive. Despitr the blockage during the Biafra war, there were no episodes of fuel scarcity with people sleeping in petrol stations because Biafran soldiers learnt how to refine crude oil on their own. The Biafran military were able make some weapons on their own. They also constructed and operated Uli International 'Airport' with which they traveled to the outside world and this secret 'Airport' was undiscovered by the Nigerian Military for about 2years. In summary, if pushed to the wall, they will think deeply in ways that can bring solutions. |

Awolowo is the only one who believed in prosperity for all. That's why the igbos prefer mi okpara over zik. Even ojukwu over zik. Zik and sardauna are both fools. Sardauna's ABU Zaria is for elites if not he would have given the children of the poor free education but rather he hated awolowo for campaigning to the north with free education just like kwankwaso hated gej for the same education for all almajiris. You misunderstood the man. Ahmadu Bello, like most of his contemporaries were pioneers who didn't have the luxury of learning from the mistakes/successes of their predecessors. Most of his policies were carried out after arriving at a comprise between his native conservative muslim aristocratic background and the emerging liberal European-like egalitarian societies. Ahmadu Bello had a vision to see his people dominating the leadership positions in the new country and he worked to achieve this goal. He sent hundreds of Northern youths abroad to study in British universities, enlisted many youths in the Military, recruited many into the civil service, invested in industries for his region ( Arewa Textiles in Kaduna and Funtua, Bacita Sugar Company and Many industries in Kano) promoted peaceful co-existence among the diverse peoples of the North. It should be noted that religious crisis didn't occur under his administration. There wouldn't have been Boko Haram under the Sardauna. He appointed a learned Sheik Abubakar Gumi as the grand khadi to harmonize religious views with a central authority, making it easy for regulations. In his formative years, he never lived in Southern Nigeria and viewed people from the South with a veiled contempt. He was a regional leader who initially didn't believe in one Nigeria and made no pretence about it. He asked for secession for the North in 1953-1955. |

The 2-4 million Hausa Christians who live in rural areas of Katsina, Zaria & Kano at least cannot be destroyed cos they never contacted that evil virus of deception spread through Islam.
They are the only hope of the preservation of whatever existed of a once large and prosperous African race (Hausas). Dozens of indigenous tribes in Bauchi & Yobe have also been destroyed but I wonder why nobody talks about them. Many of the indigenous tribes were assimilated into the emerging bigger tribes like Hausa, Kanuri, Fulani. |

AfrokanGod: The British empire burnt the Benin empire to ashes while also killing and looting its treasures, Go tell a Benin man he accepted Christianity on his own free will. Religion was an afterthought to the colonist, their first mission was to plunder the wealth of the colonised nation and they found out forcing their religion on their subject was one way to achieve their aim. King leopard came to congo under the guise to bringing religion to the savage congolease, he sought and got permission from the catholic church.
Nigerians had it better, south Americans where killed in their millions, the Congolese were also killed in their millions.
Christianity and Islam were spread by force, without force and subjugation how do you convince a man your god is better than is?
Read about the Spanish Inquisition, Read about the King leopards Colonization of congo, read about the Crusade. The British burnt Bini Empire and invading Bini but this had nothing to do with Christianity at all. The Binis have known about Christianity since the 15th century through trading with the Portuguese. However the religious groups who came for evangelism in the 19th century weren't exactly the same group as the Colonial officers. Christian missionaries and evangelism in the South started long before British Colonialism. Church Missionary Society (CMS), The Methodist Mission, Catholic Mission and several others already had their presence in Lagos, Badagry, Warri, Abeokuta, Calabar and other coastal towns by 1830 and CMS Grammar School, Lagos was established in 1859 when Nigerian Kingdoms were still independent before British Colonialism started. Humans can change their religions voluntarily without the use of force if the new religions offer them succour. Up till date, there are people who still convert from one religion to another. Your attempts to find Christian equivalent of the Fulanis Jihard in Southern Nigeria is ludicrous. The British colonialists didn't establish a Theocratic State similar to the Sokoto Caliphate established by Usman DanFodio and their motives for colonialism was economic/political and not motivated by religion. If the motivations were religious, then the whole of Nigeria would have been forced to become 'christians' |
