Romance › Re: Why Do Some Women Get Worked Up Whenever A Man Says He Prefers A Virgin? by oyatz(m): 12:44pm On Mar 16, 2020
Everybody deserves good things, even a bad man desire to have good things happening to him.

Any man who plan to marry a virgin bride should be wished goodluck even if the man is not a virgin.

I have never met a man who marry his wife as a virgin that is not proud of saying in it out. It doesn't matter if the man is a chronic womanizer, a thief, a teacher or a pastor.

Few things in life are as gratifying as a dream that come true.

Chi59:
You're on point. This incessant clamour for virgin wives just shows how fragile a lot of men's egos are in this country.
If you're not a virgin, then you don't deserve to marry one, except you just get lucky.
Romance › Re: Why Do Some Women Get Worked Up Whenever A Man Says He Prefers A Virgin? by oyatz(m): 12:20pm On Mar 16, 2020
You are comparing apples with Banana.

1) Being rich is RELATIVE but there are no two types of virginity.

Eligible bachelors with monthly income of #300K, 500K, #750k and #1 Million are rich guys to different classes of ladies.

2) Being rich is also time dependent but a non-virgin can NOT improve to become a virgin.

Losing one's virginity is a once in a lifetime experience!

A university undergraduate or a NYSC teacher in 2010 may not be rich but they can be rich in 2020.

Petyprincess:
I never got worked up because it's their choice! Bt i wonder why guys get worked up when we prefer rich guys?
Romance › Re: Why Do Some Women Get Worked Up Whenever A Man Says He Prefers A Virgin? by oyatz(m): 12:11pm On Mar 16, 2020
By nature, Humanbeings don't like to be condemned.

Only very few ladies will marry as virgins which make virginity a very scarce 'commodity' to be well respected. In addition to this this 'treasure-like' status of virginity is the fact that it can only be lost once in a lifetime.

Saying publicly that you want to marry a virgin is indirectly condemning non-virgin ladies (about 95% of all women). Some ladies get hurt because of such statements and some may hate you for it.

I strongly advise you

1) to stop saying out (but you can have it in mind) that you want to marry a virgin because you are likely to hurt the women that love you and in the process, hurt yourself too.

2) Never mention the word 'virginity' in front of a lady that you haven't fvcked before but you plan to fvck.

PerfectMaster:
They want a tall man, they want a well to do man, they want a fair or dark man etc they all have their spec but when a man says he want a virgin they rant and begin to curse.

If a virgin man should marry a virgin woman then a tall woman should marry a tall guy same goes for anyother expectations.

Inconclusion, everyone has their preference and their choice should be respected. As a guy I prefer a virgin for various reason and I dont need to be a virgin, same for a woman. If she prefers a virgin man even when she is not a virgin, it is her choice.

One man can NOT make himself the president.

The problem is NOT Tinubu whom you wrongly ascribe so many (mostly negative) capacities to.

If you don't like Tinubu to be president, the most appropriate thing is to support your own candidate whom you think is at par with Angel Gabriel.

We need as many people as possible to start running for the Presidency.

The presidency of Nigeria should be open to ALL Nigerians, including Tinubu.

The moment will try to limit which citizens can participate in the presidential race, we will be solving certain problems by creating bigger problems.

Did the gods reveal all these to you or Tinubu himself told you all these sir?

TylerDurden:
2023 will mark 30yrs of the annulment of June 12 mandate of MKO Abiola.

The annulment apart, MKO also suffered betrayal from his own supposedly fellow tribesmen and allies.

Other than the majority of Yoruba Obas and Politicians, Abiola was betrayed by those he thought where fighting for his mandate under NADECO.

The likes of Soyinka and Tinubu were using NADECO to milk Abiola's friends from across the west for their own financial gain.

It is no secret that Tinubu was working hard to get Abacha to make him his VP in his civilian transition. To achieve this, Tinubu would lobby Abacha's close confidant, Gilbert Chagoury - who doubled as Abacha's main money launderer and international fixer, to beg Abacha to pick him as his VP.

Gilbert Chagoury is a not only a very close business associate of Tinubu but also Tinubu's main access to DNC lobbyist groups in Washington deep swamp.

Chagoury was the one that introduced Tinubu to Bill and Hilary Clinton and also their crooked Criminal Foundation.

Since then, Tinubu has been paying his quota of looted SW State funds into the Clinton crime purse.

This same Chagoury is also a major partner to Tinubu in the Eko Atlantic project and was awarded highly inflated road contracts in Lagos. The 1 billion naira per kilometer Lekki-Epe dualization work was done by Chagoury.

Tinubu has not wrested on the Clinton connections alone as he has been lobbying Aso Rock hyenas like Kingibe as well.

The posthumous GFRCN award on Abiola and the recognition of June 12 as both a public holiday and Democracy day was supported by Tinubu. The whole charade was however orchestrated by Kingibe who will now enjoys a life pension as former VP.

Tinubu will pick this hyena come 2023 but what he doesn't know is that Abiola's curse from the grave will come and haunt him.

By 2023 it will be 30yrs anniversary of the betrayal of Abiola by Kingibe and the likes of Tinubu and Soyinka.

Karma will come for Tinubu on that date.

Elections are contested and won by political parties and NOT regions.

What exactly do you mean by the 'North'?

In every region, it's impossible for all the voters to vote for a particular party/candidate.

Which political party is the PDM in 2020 which is just three years to the presidential election? Who are the foot soldiers of this PDM in Kwara, Rivers, Borno, Benue or Ogun States?

What is the structure of this migical PDM in all the 36 States, how many State Governors and senators do they have?

For this PDM to be so viable and nationally acceptable, that mean about 60% of the present crop of Governors, Senators, House of Reps members, Ministers and others must LOSE their seats/political relevance to this PDM.

mrvitalis:
Why are u guys so greedy to see that party is nothing just a mechanism to achieve a regions goal ...south west gets APC , south east gets PDP

North migrate to PDM ...PDM would easily win

I guess is because of the high population. A married woman living at third floor of a building will be coming downstairs to receive diick of a man living at the ground floor or vice versa.

The language (roots of many words), modes of dressings, traditional rites, traditional titles and certain customs practiced in Asaba, Agbor, Warri, Sapele, Uromi and Auchi have Bini origins.

maestroferddi:
It points to the fact that the influence of the Bini Empire was grossly over-stated and exaggerated.

Great/significant empires left cultural imprints in their wake wherever they existed.

You can easily see diffusion of Latin into English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and German because of the Roman Empire.

Where is the impact of Bini language roundabout the epicenter of the kingdom?

Let's we forget, Asaba, Warri and Sapele are all less than 300km from Benin....

How Bini influence on these adjoining areas range from minimal to non-existent?
Politics › Re: The Only Tribe In Africa Colonized By Another African Tribe by oyatz(m): 1:35am On Mar 15, 2020
If you ask an average Indigene of Katsina, Kano or Zamfara, they will tell you that most Fulanis in their States have been hausanized.

Fulanis mix easily with their host communities in as much as these hosts are Muslims.

In Gombe, Taraba, Adamawa and some parts of Kaduna States, there are clusters of unmixed fulani settlements largely because the surrounding tribes are non-muslims which make cultural assimilation difficult.

The Fulanis in Nigeria, though are a minority ethnic group but they are master political chess players, they won't stress the fulani identity or any ethnic identity (this will put them in disadvantaged positions) but will rather champion an Islamic and/or Northern identity (which will unify so many different tribes under one umbrella and give them the numbers to compete against their Southern rivals in the political equations of Nigeria).

atheistandproud:
I don't know if you're helping to uphold my argument or you're arguing against it.

1. We're speaking about the Fulani-Hausa relationship.
Not the Fulani Yoruba.

2. Obviously from my statement, a discerning mind would quickly code that I'm referring to the North.

3. The huge majority Fulanis in Kaduna, Zaria, Funtua, Gusau and a large part of Sokoto speak Fula first and Hausa second. There are also Tuaregs and Berbers here in Sokoto who speak their own indigenous languages before speaking Hausa and they speak both seemlessly and fluently.

4. I have not been to Ilorin so I can't say anything about that, but I know a few Yoruba Fulani who identify as Yoruba, dress as Yoruba and speak Yoruba language with no understanding of Fulfude. They're also devout Muslims as well.

Please read and digest my comment before replying.

Why are you always fixated on what the Yorubas say or do?

The Yoruba votes alone can NOT take you or anyone else to the Presidency , neither can it prevent you from getting the presidency. If Yorubas don't support a candidate, other Nigerians can still support the candidate.

All of us can't see things in exactly the same ways... plurality is the ways of nature.

Nigerians from over 200 tribes are going to vote, why are you only interested (mostly complaining) in what the Yoruba voters will do or how they will vote?

Why don't you mention what the Nupes, Kanuri, Bachama, Igala, Ebira, Efik or Bariba people are saying?

SLS should contest, El-Rufai, Kwankanso, Oshiomole, Peter Obi, David Umahi, Osinbajo and Abba Kyari or whoever wants to contest should run for the Presidency.

We can't build an egalitarian society by barring some citizens from the number-1 position in the country.

Dahomey was a colony of the Oyo Empire.
They paid taxes and royalties to the Oyo Empire.

In the olden days, the Heirs to the throne of Dahomey must live in the Palace of the Alaafin, tutored in the art of governance, History and Military trainings.

He is given one of the daughters of the Alaafin to to marry as his first wife to cement diplomatic relationships between the two royal families.

SciLab:
The Dahomey colonized yorubaland after defeating their warriors with menstruating and pregnant women fighters.

Bini colonized and taught yorubas the kingship system.

Nupes also colonized yorubas.

Fulanis also colonized yorubaland and put an Emirate in it.

Facts and Factoids.

Stop spreading your ignorance on this forum sir.

Camp = Ago (Bini)= Ago (Yoruba).

Eko does NOT mean camp in Bini Language.

The Binis referred to Eko as a camp for their soldiers along the coast doesn't mean Eko is a Bini word meaning camp.

This is just as Londinum (now called LONDON) was established as a Roman military base about 100BC. This however doesn't mean the Romans own London, let alone England.

Eko means war camp in Benin . The oba of Lagos has clarified the issue stating that Lagos is not a Yoruba territory . Historians all agree that the Benin kingdom shapened Lagos as we know it now.

Read about the civil wars from books written by key participants in the war from both sides of the divide.

The then Colonels Benjamin Adekunle and Murtalar Muhammed were NOT in the same divisions of the Army.

Adekunle Commanded the 3rd Marine Commando based in Port Harcourt, charged with re-taking Port-Harcourt, Aba, Owerri, Oguta, Uyo and Calabar. They didn't have anything to do with Asaba.

The Civil war of 1967-1970 was between Nigeria Vs Biafra. It wasn't an Igbo Vs Bini war.

Bini was no longer an Empire or a Sovereign Country during the civil war, so it is in appropriate to say the Igbo conquered the Binis because Biafran forces INVADED the Mid-Western Region on a particular day during the civil war.

Mrexcell:
The binis have even been conquered by ojukwu and his biafran soldiers during the biafra/nigeria civil war when they invaded and captured benin the capital of former Midwest region. Till date in history it's only the igbos and the british that have successfully conquered the binis and their oba.

There are so many Fulani people that don't speak Fulfulde anymore or speak it with difficulty. The Fulani people in Nigeria mostly speak Hausa.

The Fulanis in Ilorin can't even speak Hausa or Fulfulde. They now speak Yoruba language.

Only itinerant Fulanis who live in isolated temporary camps in the Savannah of the North speak Fulfulde as their first language.

The Fulanis are an ISLAMIC people who don't place much emphasis on Languages or tribal culture but strongly uphold the Islamic identity.

atheistandproud:
The Fula people people speak Fulfude as a first language and Hausa as a second language. Many Hausas do not understand Fulfude but all the Fulanis I know speak and understand fluent Hausa.

In fact, I speak staccato Hausa despite having only lived here for three years. And if I wanted to have a private conversation in full public glare, I resort to English or Urhobo. Hausas in the general majority are mentally lazy and cannot take themselves out of their comfort zone to learn something new. This is not an insult. It's a fact. No coloniser, be it the Fula people of Futa jallon or the British can make them lose that language.

Many Southerners don't even know that Gen Sani Abacha was neither Hausa nor Fulani but a Kanuri man.
