God forbids it but if this were to happen in the SW, PDP supporters and IPOBians will be very happy, gloating and tauting that it's because the SW voted for APC.

They are always happy whenever bad things happen to the country.

Please support whoever you want to support instead of giving any reasons.

1) GEJ lost re-election in 2015 ,how does that amount to Tinubu's betrayal?
Every citizen, including Tinubu has a constitutional right to support any candidate.

Tinubu had every right to support the presidential candidate of his party.

2) You are NOT fighting GEJ's battle. You are just being clever by half.

Atiku, Sararaki, Tambuwal and Kwankwanso played key roles to ensure that Jonathan was defeated, you aren't bitter about their actions, you later became their ardent supporters and even now ,you have already pledged your unsolicited support for them come 2023.

Your interest is just to look for people who can help you to prevent a SW presidency QED.

3) Even GEJ and the Ijaws have move-on but you are still stuck in the past, very bitter about the 2015 election and are now looking to how to 'revenge'.

4) Support your Atiku, Tambuwal or whosoever you like and stop assaulting our sensibilities as if we are kids.

nasoeb:
Bring a new, liberal and educated yoruba presidential candidate and you will see a higher percentage of southerners including igbos supporting him. The question is why.
It is because the issue is in the person called tinubu.
I think the main issue is a subconscious one. Southerners will automatically kick against the person called tinubu not just igbos but larger percentage of all southerners. Because they feel tinubu played a very betraying role when we had a southern President. He supported the north because of his selfish interest against the southern interest. Which the people of the south east and south-south has a record of it and is waiting for a day to pay him back. So now coming to seek for the support of the south east and south south for the same presidential position you denied them of is mere child's play.
Bring a different yoruba person that is liberal, wducated and not attached to this same tinubu godfatherism, then see yourself garnered support
Politics › Re: The Only Way Igbo Will Get 2023 Presidency: by oyatz(m): 9:35pm On Jun 23, 2019
In an artificially created heterogeneous country like Nigeria, every ethnic group try to work things in it's best interest.

Igbos believe that if they back Atiku and he wins, one of them will be Vice President and this will increase their Political relevance, with the hope of succeeding Atiku after his turn.
It wasn't greed but if Yorubas support Buhari and aspire to succeed him, Igbos will scream GREED!

The Yorubas' interest may or may not necessarily be the same with the interests of the Igbos.

Yorubas believe that they can be anything in Nigeria and are pursuing it but Igbos believe that they can only rise politically if Yorubas are held down, a very dangerous mentality if you ask me.

Somehow, the Igbos believe they can't win a Presidential election in the present dispensation.
This is not due to the fault of the Yorubas but they love to blame the Yorubas especially Tinubu for this Liability.

However, they also feel they should prevent any other southerner from becoming a President in 2023 until when it will be feasible for them to win a presidential election.
Politics › Re: Prof Awuzie: Why Tinubu’s Billions Can’t Help Him To Be President In 2023 by oyatz(m): 4:54pm On Jun 23, 2019
I am NOT Tinubu's spokeman.

Our Democratic culture will be deepen when we put so many 'Political myths' to test.
Before Jun-12, many Nigerians believed that a Southern candidate can never defeat a Northerner candidate, but we have seen that it's not true.

Before 2015, many Nigerians believed a ruling party can't be defeated by an opposition candidate but it happened.

Let Tinubu, El-Rufai, Atiku, Osinbajo, Okorocha, Orji Kalu, Fashola and even YOU contest. The electorates will chose the best.

Hate Bola Tinubu but respect him.

"I look for talents that are better than me. I'm not afraid to bring on board people with higher wisdom because the most important thing to me is to get the job done for the betterment of all. I don't wait till zero hour to discover the next person to do the job or the next job to be done, from the first hour, I find them.

The second, third and fourth are as important as the first.

Time waits for nobody.

Even the obstacles on my way, I predict them before those that will bring them will start to think about them, I plan for betrayal, I plan for backstabbing, I also plan for reunion and forgiveness long before they happen. In life, I expect nothing, I expect anything, I expect everything."

Mr Man, support your Northern candidate and leave Yorubas to pursue their presidential ambition come 2023.

However, don'tn't call the Yorubas betrayers if your plan does not succeed.

In 2015, Igbos backed Project Jonathan, it failed but they blamed and hated the Yorubas for it.

In 2019, Igbos backed Project Atiku, it failed, they are still blaming the Yorubas (even though the SW gave Atiku more votes than the SE) and now plotting to scuttle the Yorubas' chances in 2023.

In 2023, if Igbos back project Atiku or Project Tambuwal and it fails, they should just keep quiet and accept their fate in good faith.

Yes sir, in Politics anything is possible.
There is no permanent friends or permanent enemies but only permanent interests.

Democracy hasn't been practiced in Nigeria for long that's why many assume that votes will only vote for members of their tribes.

In 1993 presidential election, Abiola defeated Tofa in many Northern States, including Tofa's home State of Kano.

In 2019, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila defeated Umar Bago in the speakership race.

Igbos are advocating for a Northerner to succeed a Northerner in 2023 but Yorubas are plotting to be president in 2023 yet you are still blaming the Yorubas for the relegation you brought on yourself and still planning to bring on yourself.

Most of the Igbos I have seen or heard are more interested in preventing a SW presidency in 2023 than achieving an Igbo Presidency.

Afospecialk:
Why is it that Igbo's leaders ar not concern about their failure to produce any credible leader capable of contesting for presidency since 1999 ?

Why is it that Igbo's leaders ar not ashamed of their incompetence to present any credible leader capable to contest for presidency in 2023 and 2031 ?

Why is that all Igbo's attentions and analysis is 100% focused on Tinubu chances in 2023?

I mean I hav never come across any Igbos leaders bold enough to mention any presentables candidates capable of vying for presidency in 2023 or 2031.

Must everything be on Tinubu or Yoruba chances ?

No igbos leader presentable for presidency ?
Politics › Re: Why Do Nigerians Have A Primitive Tribal Mindset? by oyatz(m): 3:07pm On Jun 23, 2019
Your partisan mindset makes you appear less
less intelligent than you seem.

1) Where did I mentioned coup (let alone said Igbo, Ijaw or Kanuri coup?) in my post? You should argue a case based on it's merits and not extraneous merits.

2) Believing or even accusing an ethnic group of an action is totally different from accussing an individual. This is often subjective.

For instance, if

a) Someone said the Nazi Germans killed millions of Jews in the Holocaust or Arabs bombed America on Sept 09, 2001 or the IPOB accusing the other Nigerians of killing the Igbos between 1967-1970 is different from saying Ojukwu ordered the Killing of Ifeajuna and Victor Banjo by firing squad.

b) If you say Yorubas hates Igbos, the questions now is who is Yorubas and how do you know he hates Igbos?

If you say Mr Ademola or Mrs Olola hates Igbos, you can point to certain statements or actions of Mr Ademola/Mrs Olola to back up your claims.

goodnessme1:
you have just contradict what you people always claim to be right/true.
And for your mind you are wise.

You say "[the Oba is an individual
with a known identity. He
has a name, lives
somewhere and have
personal interactions. An individual if commits a
crime can be arrested and
tried in courts, even up to
the ICC"]-which is true,

now my question is,are those that carried out the coup you people tag igbo coup not an individuals, with a know identity, dont they have names and where they lives?

Again you say "[Igbo is an ethnic group,
there is nobody called igbo.
Even there is no universal
agreement on who is an
Igbo (Ekpeye, Ikweres,
Anioma and some parts of Ebonyi often disagree with
being labeled igbos while
some Igalas and Idomas
accept the igbo Identity)
Igbo can NOT be arrested or
tried in courts. It does make sense to be
comparing what the Oba
was alleged to have done
and what Igbos have been
alleged to have done]"--
you are right that Igbo is an ethnic group,As for other garbage you wrote up there,is your prerogative to think or write what ever you like.

Then in your conclusion you say "[it does make sense to be
comparing what the Oba
was alleged to have done
and what Igbos have been
alleged to have done]"---

Ok but it makes sense to accuse, attack and even kill igbos for what few individuals have done, which your tribe men are among.but dont make sense to accuse yorubas for what their king have done.

Yoruba man reasoning.
Politics › Re: Ololade Abdullai Is Not MC Oluomo's Son by oyatz(m): 2:42pm On Jun 23, 2019
This is Ololade Akinsanya and his father, Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo).
The resemblance is striking!

Validcode:
Ololade Abdullai is not Mc Oluomo's son. The boy's parents have three children together, then later broke up. The mother refused the father access to the children. Each time the man gets close to contacting the children the mother Wunmi, cuts him off. The house she still stays in belongs to Mr Abdullai who is equally doing well financially, he's from a prosperous Lagos family which is what attracted Wunmi to him initially. Mc came into her life not too long ago. That is why the mother said "modupe Oluwa to bami gberumi". The biological father of the boy and his relatives have been trying to establish contact for over 10 years and the mother blocked them out.
The boy's relatives are kind of happy Oluomo posted the boy's success on social media, cause they now know that he and his
siblings are alive and well.
When you check pictures of Oluomo's wives on the internet, Wunmi has never been present until this one.

You see your level intelligence now?

Can you see why you can't be a lawyer or win in intellectual debates (it's simply above you).

My dear, now listen and listen well,

In logic, you can only compare LIKES WITH LIKES, you can not be comparing oranges with Yams.

1) The Oba is an individual with a known identity. He has a name, lives somewhere and have personal interactions.

An individual if commits a crime can be arrested and tried in courts, even up to the ICC

2) Igbo is an ethnic group, there is nobody called igbo.
Even there is no universal agreement on who is an Igbo (Ekpeye, Ikweres, Anioma and some parts of Ebonyi often disagree with being labeled igbos while some Igalas and Idomas accept the igbo Identity)
Igbo can NOT be arrested or tried in courts.

It does make sense to be comparing what the Oba was alleged to have done and what Igbos have been alleged to have done.

The Oba didn't mention the word 'drown' (which you typed as DRUM) in that video clip.

goodnessme1:
Ok now you need video prove to believe that your oba said it.

But you believe the military coup which your tribe men other tribe men carried out is an Igbo coup,

can you show us videos of igbos planning and carried out the coup.

It will deepen our democratic culture.

You see all these tribesmen that are placed in Strategic positions is to ensure that power shift to the SE in 2023. That's the end game.

The APC is working to ensure that a candidate from the SE wins it's presidential ticket in 2023.
Gov David Umahi will cross to the APC next year and will win the presidential primary of the APC .
He is Buhari's candidate and that is why Miyetti Allah just endorsed his candidacy.

If you start from Ile-Ife in the West and move Eastward to Onitsha just accross River Niger, you will notice that the languages keep evolving/metamorphosing untill it finally become Igbo.

Yoruba is at the extreme in the West and Igbo is at the extreme in the East with Bini, Afemai, Igala,Ishan, Itsekiri, Urhobo, Ekpeye, Ikwere, Etche in between.

Ewure(Yoruba)= Ewu (Igbo)
Okunrin (man)= Okoro (Igbo)
Okunrinpupa (Yoruba)= Okorocha (Igbo)= light complexioned man

Okunrindudu (Yoruba)= Okorodudu (Itskeriri/Urhobo).
Enu (Yoruba for mouth)= Onu (Igbo for mouth)
Okuta (Yoruba for Stone)= Okwuta (Ikwere)= Okwute (Igbo for Stone)

Eniyan (Yoruba) = Onye (Igbo)= someone
Ewu (Yoruba)= Awi (Igbo) = grey hairs
Ogberi( Yoruba)= Ogbere(Igbo)= Uninitiated, novice.
Efeefu (Yoruba)= Ifufu (Igbo)=. Wind

Omi ( Yoruba)= Mri (Igbo) = Water
Apoti (Yoruba)= Akpati (Igbo) = stool
Omo (Yoruba)= Omo (Bini)= Oma (Iga)= Oma (Itsekiri)= Omo (Urhobo)= Rumu(Ikwere)= Umu (Igbo)

Igiripa (Yoruba)= Girikpa (Ijaw)= Dimkpa (,Igbo)= Fully grown man

Asee( Yoruba)= Isee (Bini)= Isee (Igbo)= Amen.

Orisha (Yoruba)= Oritse(Itsekiri)= Olise (Ika) =Olisa (Igbo)= Deity.

In conclusion= Yoruba= Bini= Urhobo= Itskiri= Igala= Igbo= ONE PEOPLE in the distant past!

pazienza:
You seem to have missed the gist.

Ikwerre, Ekpeye and their likes claim to be Bini descendants.
Naturally, their original language should be Bini language.

Common sense dictates that the current language they speak is a borrowed one from Igbo, they couldn't have gotten it from thin air, or evolved it independently, when it's obviously Igbo.

This should be simple enough. I don't get why you are writing the above epistle.

Igbos couldn't have borrowed Igbo language from a people whose ancestors were Bini speakers and arrived to our borders speaking Bini language as they claimed.

In Ibani(Bonny), the people speak Igbo, but they now claim to have descended from Ijaw, so the people are doing the needful by relearning Ijaw language, instead of claiming that the mutilated Igbo they speak is theirs, they are changing their names to Ijaw ones as well.

Ikwerre and other Bini bandwagoners in SS who speak Igboid languages but claim Bini descent should go relearn Bini language and change to Bini names. What's the big deal. They should do this and save us all from the drama.

You don't know much about the Yorubas. The World view of the Yorubas is pluralistic, hence divergent views are not only accommodated, they are celebrated.

However, like any situations, most follow Gussian distributions with few outliners (the people we call extremists in religions).

Yorubas welcome and participate in different Political parties, worship different deities and practice different religions without disturbing one and another.

In Yorubaland, most extended families is actually mixed with Christians, Muslims and traditionalists Members. I also have blood relatives who are Muslims. The Adeleke family are also mixed too.

My Muslim friend did NOT deny me accomodation (re read my post carefully). There are many Yoruba Muslims who have impacted positively on my life.
