All these 'problems' you pointed out in Ebonyi State are actually business opportunities for serious minded investors.

Who is this animal spoiling this threadhuh? What is Ebonyi doing in Anambra thread.. Abakakaliki is low class to compare to this thread.. A city without a single modern estate.. No GRA.. Okay.

We can always depend on you to tell us the minds of the Northerners.

CyynthiaKiss:
I have talked to many Northerners, they told me that they have lost confidence in Buhari.
Majority of them said that they never knew that things would be this bad under his leadership. Some of them are complaining of hunger due to harsh economy.

It's obvious that Buhari has lost his popularity in the North because northerners have tasted him and have seen that he's not really whom they thought he is.
Thank God he won 2015 election ..He has shown his real colour.. Majority of northerners have turned their backs on him.

I think he should be Great grandson.
Awolowo's grandsons are over 50years.

Nazarethnaza:
Oluwaseyi “Seyi” Awolowo is the grandson of Obafemi Awolowo. He has had many highs and lows in his three decades of existence. The bubbly entrepreneur once tried to commit suicide but has since risen above that dark period of his teenage years and has turned his life around.

He is committed to his journey of self-acceptance, his girlfriend and his beliefs. He demonstrates the latter with a “Jesus’’ tattoo across his arm. Seeing his own face on a billboard for the first time is one of the highest moments of his life so far. He further revealed that he will look for trouble a lot. Not single or available. Taken. Very blunt.

Almost all the girls seems to have different versions of the same rape story at the time they were disvirgin.

I used to believe the story when I was inexperienced untill I discussed it with my elder brother and older men, they told me it's very difficult to disvirgin a lady without her cooperation.

utenwuson:
so what prompted this timing? Looking at the case itself, how is it even a rape? Most women in Nigerian will lie to u they got disvirgin via rape cos no one want to sound like they just open their leg for a man they aren't married to you just nack,

She wasn't a minor as kwara state law put consented age to 16, the man didn't use force on her, never put a gun to her head, but in the silence of everything, she allowed him to have his way right in her home as claimed.

Wait ooo.... To disvirgin person na child play?

Let even be rational and ask questions instead of slandering that man just like that..... She should go straight to the police if she has a case against him, it's very simple.

The age of consent in Kwara State is 16years.

Ok let me agree that it is "Pastor and member nacks."

Stop making unguarded generalized statements.

Even as bad as things are nowadays, people (including Igbo ladies) still fall in love for real.
There are so many Igbo ladies that have married Yoruba guys, not out of money but for love.

If you go to Osun State, you will see many Igbo men/women that have married Yoruba people.

Many young ladies that ordinarily don't like Anal sex now want to have at least an experience of what it feels like (no thanks to increased access to the internet due to free data from MTN, GLO & Airtel ).

May be for the man (or just the owner of the joystick) but it may be painful for the owner of the anus if she/he doesn't want it or if she is not relaxed enough or if you don't apply enough lubricant on the condom (it's not advisable to do it without wearing condom)

If Nigeria disintegrate, ALL sections of the country will feel the negative impacts for about 5-10 years, then new sources of revenues will replace the current sources becsuse human societies are dynamic in nature.

However, the impacts and consequences of the disintegration will NOT all be negative.
Free money will disappear SUDDENLY which will cause great economic hardship which will lead to

1) Mass Emmigration to Europe, North America and possibly the Niger Delta Republic (if it doesn't erupt in Civil war)
2) Massive reduction in corruption (money will be scarce)
3) After about 7years, the citizens will hate the leaders such that only people who can solve the problems will aspire to be leaders.
4) After about 10 years, the countries would have looked inward and look for other sources of revenues and learn from the mistakes of the defunct Nigeria.
5) The diaspora population with different aquired skills will return to develop the country.

Odua Republic will be better than the current Benin Republic because it already has greater Human Resources necessary to develop a country.

LRNZH:
Lool you make me laugh! Why are the banks crying because of TSA? All the government monies in commercial banks come from oil sales in case you are not aware.

If you shut down the oil industry in Nigeria today, even groundnut seller business will feel the heat. That's why Nigeria is a mono economy and we have been screaming for diversification.

I will like to know the volume of discovered oil reserves in Oodua Reoublic today let's compare notes.

How much is cocoa or cotton commodity price today? Lool.

It is easy to speak that Yoruba can do without Nigeria but all the IGR (taxes) that Lagos rely on are oil related directly or indirectly. Ever since the militancy chased many oil companies from PH and Warri, alot of them are HQ'd in Lagos. Their taxes and enoloyment will go away in Oodua Republic. Think of the mulitplier effect.
That's why I say Oodua will be like Benin Republic at best.

Do you know what the same British did to the Irish People for daring to seceed after almost 8 centuries of subjugation, annexation and assimilation?

No Country willingly and openly support it's own break-up by granting the demand of a pressure group.

You are referring to a colonial government that was indeed the best government Nigeria had ever had. They gave EAR to the NEEDS and ASPIRATIONS of the people. This your last post clearly showed that your understanding of the issues at stake is very shallow.

1) Nigeria did not seceed from Britian in 1960. British Colonialism was a period of Foreign rule of indigenous people sustained by military might of the colonialists.

It was a foreign occupation which naturally is bound to be resented by the natives and couldn't have lasted forever. The British knew this from the onset.

2) The opposition to British rule started almost immediately after the advent of colonial rule with Dr Obasa and prominent educated Yoruba elites forming the first Political party , The Peoples's Union in 1909 to galvanized the natives to demand to self rule.

3) Herbert Macaulay and Dr Azikiwe weren't just leaders of pressure groups organizing protests against British rule, they metamorphosed to Political leaders.
They formed Political parties (NNDP in 1922 by Macaulay, NCNC in 1946 by Macaulay, Zik, Adewoyin, Olorunnimbe, Michael Imodu &others), contested and won elections to legitimize their aspirations.

3) They sought mandates from the peoples (Conference of ethnic groups in 1950 at Ibadan) where demands for self rule was made loud and clear.
4) Between 1952-1959, several constitutional conferences were held by the Traditional, elected and Political leaders of all the peoples in Nigeria to reach an agreement on independence.

5) The elected Representatives of the colonized peoples became the most vocal campaigners of independence.

In 1953, Hon Tony Enahoro of the Action Group (AG) moved on the floor of the House of REPRESENTATIVES the first motion for the independence of Nigeria by 1956. This didn't go down well with the Northern People's Congress (NPC) members who strongly opposed the motion.

Hon Remilekun Fani-Kayode (the father of FFK) of the Action Group in 1956 moved another motion for independence which again was thwarted by the NPC leadership.

It was after much persuation, horse trading and negotiation with the leaders of the North and the minorities that every body agreed on independence by 1960, hence

Hon SL Akintola of the Action Group finally moved the successful motion for independence in 1959. This was successful.

kingzizzy:
How do you think Herbert Macaulay, Zik and others got Nigerias independence from Britain? It was by foing the same thing Kanu is doing now. They denounced British rule and mass-mobilised the people to come out and demand freedom. It when the British saw that there was massive support for independence that they knew that the game was up.

For anyone or group to come out and seek independence, and be taken seriously, they must first show that they have the backing of the people. Kanu cannot start going to Governors and lawmakers asking them to work for a Biafran referendum without showing he has support, nobody would take him serious.

Kanu was in the process of mobilising the people through his radio station, speeches, rallies and protest when the authorities clamped down on him, locked him up, gave him bail, used python dance to chase him away then declared him a terrorist

If Miyetti Allah want their own state, let them go and mobilise the people to come out for that

If OPC wants a state, let them go and drum up support amongst their people for that cause to prove that this is what they want
