Politics › Re: PDP VP: Why SW Are Not Who They Claimed To Be by oyatz(m): 10:35am On Oct 12, 2018 |
Is SW APC in any contest with Ndiigbo worldwide? This kind of petty talks will only serve to undermine the rainbow mass movement of Nigerians necessary to win (especially against an incumbent) a presidential election. IamAtikulate: The Insight:
1. If SW had given all their votes to Buhari in 2011, Jonathan would have still won. So in 2011, SW votes couldn't have make any difference.
2. In 2015, if SW had boycotted the entire election, Buhari would have still won, but if SE had boycotted the election, it would have been a landslide win for Buhari.
3. If Yoruba backed APC had boycotted the election leaving Igbo backed PDP to vote, Buhari would have still won this means that SW APC's votes can't make any difference.
4. If the card reader malfunction didn't disenfranchise SE/SS and their turnout was like that of 2011 and other previous elections before 2015 and other regions voted for Buhari massively like they did, Jonathan would have won the election by 1.6 million votes.
Finally, under a free and fair election, SW APC can never match Ndi Igbo nationwide. |

Are you a product of covenant university? HigherEd: Sample size is small sha. But i'm very confident that any thorough study would still place CU on top. I'm also at variance with the research methodology. Whenever you want to do an employability survey, it is better to sample Organizations rather than individuals. If you sampled 5,000 HR managers it could be accepted than 5,000 graduates. If you must sample graduates then be ready to sample at least 150,000 graduates x years being considered. After which you would standardize the result according to the graduating class sizes of each university - which would be an incredibly difficult work to do because it would require collecting massive amounts of data. But not impossible.
Anyway kudos to the Stutern team, at least your sample sizes are getting bigger every year. The participation of Jobberman and BudgIt also lends much credibility to the study. God bless Covenant university! |

Politics › Re: Nigerians React To Ambode's Press Conference, And Tinubu Endorsing Sanwo-Olu by oyatz(m): 9:26pm On Oct 04, 2018 |
What many people fail to understand is that in Nigeria, there is no constitutional provision for independent candidates and as such it is political parties (NOT the candidates) that contest and win elections. Examples abound all over the civilized world with established and entrenched party politics.
1) In 2008, the African National Congress (ANC) asked President Thambo Mbeki to step down as President of South Africa. The same party also asked Jacob Zuma to step down as President in 2018 and in both situations, the Presidents were yet to finish their terms but fell out with their political party.
2) In 2003, the PDP denied the incumbent Gov Chinwoke Mbadinuju of Anambra State their ticket to seek reelection and instead gave the ticket to Dr Chris Ngige.
3) In 1983, the incumbent Gov Abubakar Rimi fell out with his party, the PRP led by Mallam Aminu Kano. The Governor sensed defeat if he should go for PRP primaries, so he honourably did the right but unusual thing by resigning his membership of the PRP and by extension, he resigned as Governor of Kano, then moved to another party, the NPN ( the ruling party at the federal level) where he contested the 1983 governorship election and was defeated by Sen Barkin Zuwo whom the PRP used to replace him. |

If you are a true matured democrat, you ought to know that the righ you have to support Ambode for whatever reasons doesn't preclude the rights of others to support Sanwo-Olu for whatever reasons. Learn to accommodate contrary views without insulting those who hold such views. Throwback: I supported Ambode till the end, but not out of hatred for Tinubu or out of love for Ambode either. Simply out of political calculations that considers that the current Governor tried his best and was a sure landslide victory that would forever keep Lagos PDP eating from the dumpsites and not the corridors of power.
At the end of it all, I don't hate Tinubu more or love Ambode more.
Hatred is not my motivation and the outcome did not frustrate me, or bring me agony and misery. |

1) Your relationship won't be the same again.
2) It is very difficult for a non-virgin to stay without sex for two years. Deprivation of this sexual urge can make her yield to temptation. 3) It is extremely difficult for one man to rape an adult lady. Were there other hefty men around who tied her down during the sex? Did the alleged rapist torn her bra, pants or clothes during the struggle? Did he drugged her? Did the man threatened her with a gun, broken bottles or matchet before she 'reluctantly agreed' to have sex with her? Did the lady shout for help while resisting the alleged rapist? Did she visit any hospital immediately after the 'raoe' to prevent unwanted pregnancy or transmission of HIV and other STI? Was there any sign of injury on her private part or any other parts of the body?
#If the answers to all these are negative, bros it is not rape.
Do you think, the rapist would have succeeded if the lady knows that he is a confirmed HIV +ve patient? Which innocent lady waits for her rapist to wear condom before starting the rape?
4) Women can be very manipulative but love conquers all, had it been that you hadn't separated and you still her enough, forgive her and move on especially if you too have been fuckung other girls (who will be somebody's wives too) before

Employment here doesn't necessarily mean working in offices, wearing shirts, tie, trousers and designer shoes. Most Northern States have better employment than the Southern States, the Northern States' Statistics is however affected by the cultural practices that don't support their women to work. Most of the MEN in Jigawa, Bauchi ,Zamfara, Kebbi or Katsina have so many works they do.They don't need to write applications. IPOBrep: ironically states that have not produced best graduating student in any school known to mankind has the lowest rate of employment.
however, the states with higher level of unemployment has better standard of living, more exposed to modernity and higher intelligent quotient.

I have stopped replying you because doing so is a waste of time. You will eventually discover the truths in my posts on your own. nelszx: Do your research well before rushing online to comment. It's not even a must you comment. Patrick Sawyer sample wasn't sent to any Redeemer university virology lab ....... lies Now here's the story:
During our early-morning ward round with Dr. Adadevoh, we concluded that this was not malaria and that the patient needed to be screened for Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). She immediately started calling laboratories to find out where the test could be carried out. She was eventually referred to Professor Omilabu of the LUTH Virology Reference Lab in Idi-Araba, whom she called immediately. Prof. Omilabu told her to send blood and urine samples to LUTH straight away. She tried to reach the lagos state commissioner for health but was unable to contact him at the time. She also put calls across to officials of the federal ministry of health and national centre for disease control.
Dr. Adadevoh at this time was in a pensive mood. Patrick Sawyer was now a suspected case of Ebola, perhaps the first in the country. He was quarantined, and strict barrier nursing was applied with all the precautionary measures we could muster. Dr. Adadevoh went online, downloaded information on Ebola and printed copies, which were distributed to the nurses, doctors and ward maids. Blood and urine samples were sent to LUTH that morning. Protective gear, gloves, shoe covers and facemasks were provided for the staff. A wooden barricade was placed at the entrance of the door to keep visitors and unauthorised personnel away from the patient.
On the morning of Wednesday July 23, the tests carried out at LUTH showed a signal for Ebola. Samples were then sent to Dakar, Senegal for a confirmatory test. Dr. Adadevoh went for several meetings with the Lagos state ministry of health. Thereafter, officials from Lagos state came to inspect the hospital and the protective measures we had put in place.
https://www.thecable.ng/how-i-survived-ebola-2/amp
Redeemer University only published her research on EVD kit and didn't carry out Ebola diagnosis for one day. Redeemer University virology lab only developed kits to testing EVD 3 years after the disease had been successfully tackled (May 30, 2017). https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/redeemers-university-develops-ebola-test-kits/amp/

Stop this your falsehood. Pa Abba Kyari who you are referring to is NOT the same as the Abba Kyari who is the Chief of Staff. Always try to verify your information before you allow your personal hatred for Buhari becloud your reasoning. Among the Kanuri people, the name Abba means 'Father' and its given to a child who his father named after his own father like what the Yorubas called 'Babajide/Babatunde'. Kyari is the name of their home town. In the North, most people adopt the names of their villages as their surnames for the purpose of identification (e.g Kwankwanso, Ganduje, Tafawa-Balewa,Nok, Fika etc) but those who are from noble families may identify themselves by stating their first name, then the name of their father and then the name of their grandfathers like Sanusi Lamidi Sanusi. yomi96: aluta continua victoria asata.
