The part (even without the candidate) or the candidate (even without the party) can challenge the result of am an election in the tribunal.

Buhari challenged the results of the 2007 election up to the supreme court ,even when his party, the defunct ANPP declined to go to the tribunal.

The APC and NOT Fayemi went to the tribunal.

kunmiiii:
Oh Yes he did!! He did the right thing initially by conceding defeat and congratulating Fayose but the taunts of his party people and the realization that the 2014 election accurately depicts him as a paperweight politician with no electoral value returned to haunt him and he sought redress at the tribunal which upheld Fayose's victory on 19th December, 2014. Unsatisfied he went to appeal which also did the same on 16 February, 2015 and finally to the Supreme Court which also did same.
Politics › Re: Eleka Rejects Ekiti Election Results, Heads To Tribunal by oyatz(m): 12:31am On Jul 16, 2018
In 2014, Fayemi congratulated Fayose on the the following day of the election and didn't challenge the results of the election in the tribunal.

kunmiiii:
Well....its his constitutional right to seek redress at the tribunal the same way Fayemi did and lost in 2014, Same way he'll also most definitely lose but its also his conscience right for him not to be an hypocrite, this is just a massive case of Karma and Déjà vu.

Fayose ruined PDP's chance, many people didn't even know the name of the PDP's governorship candidate. He didn't manage his success well. His overbearing leadership style (without serious capacity for good governance) made EKITI state PDP a one man show driving many PDP strong key players away from the party.
Good leaders only talk when it is necessary, Gov Fayose talks too much and seems to enjoy media attentions, thereby generating more enemies for himself and set himself up for unusual scrutiny .

All the International Oil Companies (IOC) can NOT be headed by indigenes because they are private businesses which should be headed by their owners or whom the owners appointed to run the companies on their behalf.

This is the same ways all the abbatoirs can't be headed by Fulani men or all the Agricultural companies be headed by Benue State indigenes

vonxe:
The development of niger delta is a long time project if it starts today the benefits will be reaped in 25yrs time.
Massive investment in quality education is the only way out. All the IOC's should be headed by the indigenes
Ondo state is so blessed that I wonder why their IGR is so low compared to other state like edo. Edo and ondo state have the same potential yet different level of development

Intelligent people learn from their mistakes and the mistakes of others.
Violence, militancy, Kidnapping and bombing of oil infrastructure in the volatile Niger Delta hasn't solved the problems of the region .
It only enriched few individuals and inadvertently put the Niger Delta in negative positions.

The next phase in the development of the N/Delta should be devoid of violence and militancy and the youths of the region should be led by intellectuals who can use economic means to achieve substantial resource control.

There is no reasons why Asari-Dokubo, Tompolo, Edwin Clark, James Ibori etc can't establish their own refineries in their States and dominate the production of Nigeria's downstream oil sector.
They can even get free crude oil in the first year of operations.

Politics › Re: The Hypocrisy Of Delta & Yoruba People Over The Case Of Nnanna Of Vanguard News by oyatz(m): 9:58pm On Jun 15, 2018
You got it wrong, the issue was NEVER about the tribe of Ochereome Nnanna and neither was it a Yoruba Vs Igbo matter...even Ochereome himself is most likely an Igbonized Yoruba from Delta State.

.
honourhim:
We have seen how Ocherome Nnanna of the Vanguard newspaper was attacked because of his bad mouth,

We have seen how people made bad comments about the igbos in the cause of condemning what he did.

We have seen how the Igbos did not reject him as their brother. They never said he wasnt an Igbo since he is from Delta state.

Now in the cause of this whole attack, all those delta people here who quickly come here to disturb us that there are no igbos in Delta state kept quiet in all these happenings.

None of those so called Delta guys here came out to claim that Nnanna is not an Igbo man rather he is a Delta guy as they usually do whenever the issue of igbos in delta state comes up here. Absolutely none.

If Nnanna had done something worthy of celebration, those hypocrites would have been running around here and screaming that he is from Delta state. Even the Yorubas here will support them to tell us that they are not our brothers and that we are doing attache by force. What a hypocritical set.

Same way Ikwere and some Etche people behave. When their brother does something bad they wont claim he is not an Igbo rather they will keep quiet while the Igbo nation are attacked due to the Igbo name the person bears. But when any of their own does something of celebration they quickly starts screaming that he is Ikwere or Etche and not Igbo. What a shame of a people.

Yet in all these, Igbos will take the insult as they come without screaming that they are not Igbos. God bless the Igbos.

In the UK, the Health and Care Professions council (HCPC) is the regulatory body that register and certify them to work in the Medical laboratories.

The HCPC is the regulatory body for
Art therapists, Biomedical Scientists (MLS), Chiropodists, Clinical Scientists (Biochemists, Medical Microbiologists etc), Radiographers, Physiotherapists, Hearing aids dispensers, Paramedics, Dietitians, Occupational therapists and Speech/language therapists.

The decision to create a separate department for the MLS or who should head the Pathology departments is vested solely in the Management of the Hospitals and not a matter of judicial pronouncement.

Read my posts very well and your responses, this time slowly.

I repeat, graduates of Life sciences like Biochemistry ,Medical Microbiology, Physiology etc (after necessary PG trainings) work in Medical laboratories in several parts of the World.

The attempt to make Medical laboratories in Nigeria exclusive for MLS can't work and will backfire in the long run.

The over zealousness of some MLS through the MLSCN to even stamped Medical doctors out of Medical laboratories has led to several court cases like the N1Billion suit that Pathcare (a firm of Pathologists) slammed against the MLSCN and several other court cases going on.

They came with thugs and crowds to attempt to seal off the laboratory of a hospital in Damaturu in 2010 and they were met with 'appropriate responses'. Similar cases abound until, they were called to other.

Research very well about Medical laboratories (and who can work there) in different parts of the World.

nelszx:
Do you ķbow who clinical scientist are?
They are not fresh school leavers but consultants.
They are like consultant biomedical scientist (those who are specialists in infectious diseases or blood science) that are like a link between the biomedical scientist and the physician. More like the lab manager. They tell you if the patient needs more testing or ascertain if your test results are okay as all results go through them to the requesting physician. Or you didn't know a clinical scientist can be a biomedical scientist?

The UK system is so strict that you can't call yourself a "scientist if you are a graduate of any life science courses cos you'll pay a fine of £5000 for doing so.
In the medical labs in UK what we have are clinical scientists (who are consultants in various aspect of pathology), the specialist biomedical scientist, biomedical scientist, associate practitioners (intern biomedical scientists), and lab assistants. Pathologists aren't even in the labs as they operate special clinics.
The system in the UK is so strict that even if a bsc microbiology does an msc in biomedical science he cant work in the lab or can be called a biomedical scientist let alone a clinical scientist. Since they cant get jobs in hospital labs how then do you expect these set to be working in the lab.

If you know anyone practicing in the UK you can verify my claims to dispute it. Microbiologist, biochemists etc do not near a medical laboratory in the UK. You think the UK is like Nigeria, guy ehn just leave long talk. Make your findings but if you arent pleased, I'd recommend phase1 explain to this to you better.

You can make your points clear without insulting others...It shows poor emotional maturity.

1) I have shown you several screenshots of Clinical Biochemists, and Clinical scientists working in hospitals in the UK and Ireland as well as what it takes to become one.

2) I never said they are fresh graduates or not.

3) In the US, the Medical laboratories are regulated by an agency, the CLIA which is not the regulatory council of any of the Medical laboratory Professionals.

4) In Nigeria, the attempt to make the Medical laboratories exclusive for one of the professionals is the major fulcrum for the crisis in the health sector and it is already generating many unintended consequences which will eventually leads to a revisit and amendments of the MLSCN Act of 2003.

5) The points of my posts is to show you that several professionals including graduates of Biochemistry and Microbiology work in Hospital Medical laboratories and even your link corroborate this assertion.

Medical laboratory is not a Nigerian creation.

Even in Nigeria, Medical Microbiologists, Physiologists, Biochemists used to undergo a two year training at the old IMLTN to be able to work in Medical laboratories but that programme was scrapped with the enactment of the MLSCN Act of 2003 but this doesn't mean it has been stopped in other Countries.

WHAT THE LAW STIPULATES ON THE PRACTICE OF

A practitioner of the profession of Medical

licensed by the Medical Laboratory Science
Council of Nigeria to practice as such as
stipulated in Act 11 of 2003 i.e. a registered and
licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Such a practitioner shall obtain a license to
practice from the Council latest 31st day of

When you speak of medical research, it is like a workshop which entails different professionals like pharmacologist, Microbiologist, virologists e.t.c. But any laboratory that involves a patient clinical investigation, it is been manned by medical Lab scientists. Because there is no room for error, and they have been certified. In the advent of malpractice, there license can be revoked and they will be made to face necessary disciplinary committee.

I don't have the time and energy to engage in unnecessary arguments.

1) In the UK ,both Biomedical scientists (MLS) and Clinical Scientists (Biochemists, Medical Microbiologists, Anatomists etc) work in Medical Laboratories and are both registered by the Health &Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
Pathologists are registered by the General Medical Council (GMC).

2) In Nigeria, the attempt by the MLS to claim the exclusive right to work in the Medical laboratory will lead to cascade of reactions that will culminate in the amendment of the MLSCN Act of 2003.
