FoodRe: Look At The Delicious Chimpanzee My Hunter Friend Prepared For Me by oyatz(m): 8:17am On Jan 22, 2023
This is VERY wrong sir.

This was how HIV started.

The DNA of this animal and the DNA of humans are very close and as such their viruses can survive in humans and transform into more virulent viruses.

Simian Immunodeficiency Virus present in Apes jumped from the blood of these Apes into human blood through cuts sustained by hunters while killing the Apes and transformed into Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) around 1900 in some villages in The Congo

Jonathan won kebbi in Northwest and taraba in North east.
He could win those places largely due to structures.
Jonathan won Taraba but was defeated in Kebbi.

However,it will be very naive to be comparing Jonathan, running as an incumbent president on the platform of the PDP with Peter Obi running on the platform of the Labour party outside of power with no single elected Labour party member in the country.

PoliticsRe: Can A Divided North Win Election 2023 by oyatz(m): 9:41pm On Jan 16, 2023
Reader530:
Imams are preaching all over the north that:
1. Tinubu is not a complete Muslim and his vice is Kanuri (minority tribe) amidst Hausa&Fulanis.
2. Voting Kwankwaso is a waste of vote.
Frankly speaking, Tinubu will win Borno and Yobe only in the north.
Kwankwaso will get 45% in Kano, Atiku 40% and Tinubu 12%. Even in Kano, many people agree that Voting Kwankwasiyya is a waste.
Atiku will win north central because most people in searching for Reps and senators in PDP may vote for Atiku.
I am North Eastern OBIdient but lack of structures and support to create awareness to our people reduce the number of our followers.
I am saying nothing but the truth as North stands. Even in Yobe rally for APC that was held at Stadium along Maiduguri road, Damaturu was not full like Buhari's campaign in previous years.
Thanks
This simply shows that Peter Obi will win in the North.
PoliticsRe: Igbo's & Yoruba Relationship After 2023 Election by oyatz(m): 12:33pm On Jan 15, 2023
JASONjnr:
Like you rightly said....

The division is in favour of the north.

But the Yorubas will rather support the north because, a good number of Yorubas are Muslims and they're very attached to their religion more than the region of southernness...

This is why, majority of the Yorubas believe that either as a Muslim or Christians, Yorubas stand as one....and because they speak in one voice, their support for the north will always sell them off any support for the south.

SouthSouth and East can't work alone except the country is constitutionally divided to share power into zones...
After the election, hatred from all sides will gradually fizzle out remaining hatred for the FG.

Nobody has any problem with an Igbo president, certainly not the north. But you don't expect people you've been calling names for no reason other than your candidate lost for the past 8 years, people whose values and way of life you've always looked with disdain to be excited by your mob attitude towards a candidate that hose very basic governance qualifications are in doubt.
With time, particularly with this election, they will learn how not to do like that.
PoliticsRe: Why Are There No Igbo Candidates Contesting For Elective Positions In Kano? by oyatz(m): 10:15am On Jan 15, 2023
Raheeqilmaktoom:
This is where the problem comes in.

Coexistence shouldn't come at a price where people and hosts are denigrated and their values impugned. To coexist, we need to acknowledge each other's uniqueness, not seek to dominate and emasculate.
Yes, you are right.

Nation building takes time. After this 2023 elections, lessons will be learnt and some of those nasty behaviours will be seen to be counter-productive and everybody will adjust accordingly.

The same thing sir Ahmadu bello said..

It is now clear to us that these people are the enemy ...
The Igbos are NOT enemies of any tribe, they are just different.

Since Nigeria is an almagamation of many tribes, we must accommodate and co-exist with each other.

Eventhough, I will vote for Tinubu but I feel what the Igbos feel and their quest for the presidency is very legitimate.

you know Yoruba people. .

Minority of us have tender hearts of women..

Even after the war ...the Yorubas were the first people to sympathize and conciliate them
This is not a sign of weaknesses at hall but a sign of civilization.

All Nigerians irrespective of their ancestral origins should participate in politics of their host States...I know this may seems uncomfortable initially but with time, it will help us in the long run.

Look at the Hausa-Fulanis settlers in Jos,Plateau State and Gombe State, they are active in the politics of their States.

This trend will also encourage non-indigenes in Abia,Enugu, Anambra etc to contest.

In our precolonial Kingdoms/Empires, there was no tribalism and people rose through the ranks based on merits regardless of their tribal backgrounds e.g High Chief Obaseki of Bini Empire rose to a prominent position despite not been originally from Bini but Anioma.

wirinet:
What you type there is absolutely rubbish. Are you insinuating that if Tinubu becomes president, he will only allow NTA, TVC and friendly media houses to cover his activates? You mean he will make himself scarce, worthy and priceless to Nigerians?

Tinubu's value arise from the fact that he is seeking for votes to become president. When he was simply Jagaban the king maker, how many media houses went to Bourdillon Road to look for Tinubu?

If you guys accuse AriseTV of bias, that that's why they were not allowed to cover Tinubu's activities live, what then about other media house? Why can't TVC be covering Tinubus campaigns live and relay to others who are interested in covering his campaign?
ALL Media houses get clearance for the Press Unit to cover an event.
This is a well known standard protocols all over the world.

You can't just gate-crashed into an event uninvited without anyone giving you clearance and start videoing , you could even be arrested for security breaches .

Public figures have been assassinated by assassins posing as press men covering the events.

Do you know that votes from just two states in the northern Nigeria covers almost that of the whole southeast? Do you think igbos can get it right without the support of the northerners? What do you think the yorubas have been doing right to gain the support of the northerners? These are questions every Ndigbos need to ask themselves. I think Ndigbos should first start by building alliance with the north and then proceed to the next step, and the easiest route to that for now is by voting Atiku . Obi is not popular at all in the north and that’s a big redflag. Soludo was actually right and I think we should listen to him else we will be indirectly helping tinubu to victory

GOAT!

So you are telling us to vote for the Agbado master and APC?

Even with Dede Amaechi as Transportation Minister with oversight to NPA, you folks refused vehemently to reactivate any port in the Niger Delta so as not to compete with Lagos.

Is it now that the man that has his umbilical cord attached to Lagos IGR fueled mostly with taxes and revenues from Tin Can and Apapa ports that APC would come and open our ports? You really think that our people will be deceived that the Agbado coroner would forfeit his phantom IGR to help our people?

Abeg take your advice and go to your fellow radicalised Yoruba Islamist in Iragbejiland.

grin grin grin
But if it is true that South-South ports are locked, don't you think that the immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan (an illustrious son of the South-South) would have opened these Ports?

The single biggest mistake Atiku has ever made in his entire life, was dropping Peter Obi as running mate. I already told myself that if Atiku combine with Obi, it's over for my APC, low and behold, they both shot themselves in the foot, now Atiku can't be President, Obi can't be vice.
Atiku didn't drop Obi but Obi decided to join the presidential race himself.

Or are you saying Atiku should still force the running mate slot on Obi ,who has become a co-aspirant and even defected to the Labour party?

Ondo: The bulk of the then PDP structure loyal to Mimiko defected to the Labour party.

Edo: Then then ACN had formidable structure in Edo State.
The PDP zoned it's ticket to Edo central Senatorial District which had the least electoral strength.

Tianamen1:
Your image is deceptive. The reason for the change in IGR isn’t as a result of an increase in productivity by Ngige and Obiano, but because Nigeria had just transitioned from military rule in Ngige’s tenure, oil prices where relatively high during Peter Obi’s tenure, so the Naira was relatively stable and finally oil prices fell during Obiano’s tenure so the naira lost its value.

Basically, when a currency loses its value, it’s tax receipts appear to be larger in the local currency but if it’s tax receipts are priced in USD, there may actually be no increase whatsoever.
For example, the Nigerian customs claimed to bring in massive revenues during this present dispensation, but in reality, if calculated in USD, customs revenue may have actually fallen.

I hope you can understand what I am trying to convey.
You don't know what you are saying sir.

1) The Naira is the local currency used to judged the tenures of all the three Ex-Govs.

Percentage Increase (not even absolute values) clearly show little improvement during Obi's tenure.

2) The Military left power in 1999 and Dr Chinwoke Mbadinuju was the Governor of Anambra State after the Military left.

Ngige was Governor between 2003-2006.

3) Exchange rates didn't after only Anambra State, it affected all other States.
There are several States that did very well in improving their IGR during the same 8-year period that Peter Obi was Governor.
