All Nigerians irrespective of their ancestral origins should participate in politics of their host States...I know this may seems uncomfortable initially but with time, it will help us in the long run.


Look at the Hausa-Fulanis settlers in Jos,Plateau State and Gombe State, they are active in the politics of their States.

This trend will also encourage non-indigenes in Abia,Enugu, Anambra etc to contest.



In our precolonial Kingdoms/Empires, there was no tribalism and people rose through the ranks based on merits regardless of their tribal backgrounds e.g High Chief Obaseki of Bini Empire rose to a prominent position despite not been originally from Bini but Anioma.

You can't just gate-crashed into an event uninvited without anyone giving you clearance and start videoing , you could even be arrested for security breaches .

The single biggest mistake Atiku has ever made in his entire life, was dropping Peter Obi as running mate. I already told myself that if Atiku combine with Obi, it's over for my APC, low and behold, they both shot themselves in the foot, now Atiku can't be President, Obi can't be vice.

1) The Naira is the local currency used to judged the tenures of all the three Ex-Govs.

Percentage Increase (not even absolute values) clearly show little improvement during Obi's tenure.


2) The Military left power in 1999 and Dr Chinwoke Mbadinuju was the Governor of Anambra State after the Military left.

Ngige was Governor between 2003-2006.

3) Exchange rates didn't after only Anambra State, it affected all other States.
There are several States that did very well in improving their IGR during the same 8-year period that Peter Obi was Governor.

I consider the NE and NW as the regions where people ride on the popularity of presidential candidates to win elections. We saw a lot of that in 2015.

In the South, it's a different ballgame. That's because people in the South are a bit more educated and enlightened and they vote for candidates, not parties.

I don't know who else is coming out in Eti-Osa for House of Representatives because I am definitely going to vote Olubankole Wellington aka Banky W of the PDP.

People ride of the popularity of certain people to get to power and this happen in all parts of the world.

Buhari left ANPP in 2010 to form CPC because the northern stakeholders in ANPP wanted to field a sitting Governor in 2011 election.

Hence Buhari had no Governor or senator with him in CPC before 2011 election. The notheren political stakeholders were either in PDP for Jonathan or ANPP for Shekarau.

However, this did not stop Buhari from winning the core northern states.

Hence if Atiku can do his homework very well, he can also win the core northern states even though the stakeholders are with Tinubu.

You wrongly assumed that Buhari was the only politician in the CPC.
There were many politicians who moved with him into the CPC and if not for in-fighting and a particular mistake on the part of Buhari, CPC would have won at least 5 State Governorship instead of one.

The particular mistake= Without acceptable register of party members, adequate preparations and experience, CPC adopted the direct primaries to select it's candidates.

Several 'corrupt' and disgruntled ex-PDP members who recently joined the CPC contested and won most of the party's tickets, sidelining members of The Buhari Organization (TBO), the fundamental members of the party. This caused acrimony and many post-primary litigations.
