My Dad's nephew who studied, worked and lived in the US back in the 70's is back at home enjoying politics. Nobody is asking about NYSC Certificate from him. It does not apply to him, because he lived most of his life outside Nigeria.

It's on record that the first Law Firm in Nigeria were set-up by the trioka of FRA Williams, Remi Fani-Kayode and H.O Davies in Lagos.

Chief Babaremilekun Fani-Kayode was a great politician who moved the successful motion for the independence of Nigeria on the floor of the House of Representatives in 1959.

Earlier in 1956, Hon Tony Enahoro had moved the motion for Independence but the motion was never passed as discussions about the planned Independence were thwarted by members from Northern Nigeria who wanted the British Colonial Masters to continue to rule till when the North will be ready.

In 1958, Hon Ladoke Akintola also moved a motion for Independence but that motion was also killed.

It's NOT an organ of the party and this is why it's not existing in other States where APC form the States Government. It's not in the Constitution of the APC.

State Chapaters of political parties are actually like branch offices of a company, they can't create an organ of the party on their own.

This is just primary election within the parties where only the delegates will vote and for certain reasons an aspirant may not visit certain States but talk with the most appropriate leaders in such States to get their delegates e.g Peter didn't visit Adamawa State, Wike didn't visit Sokoto, Borno and Taraba States.




Atiku didn't visit the S/East before the PDP primaries.

Saraki, Tambuwal, Ahmed Lawan, Amaechi didn't visit the S/East.


Dave Umahi, Nnamani and Ogbonnaya Onu didn't visit S/West or any State outside their States of origin.

We have said it time without number is either the whole south rally round an Igbo for president or the North should happily keep the power.

The whole south can not really round an Igbo, Ijaw or Yoruba candidate because there are many political parties.

What you are suggesting can only work if there is only one party or one STRONG party and several weak political parties (like the PDP between 1999-2015)such that the hierarchy of such party can decide to zone their ticket to a particular place.

If there are alternative political parties, they will choose candidate from another zone.
