Had it been tinubu have a secondary school certificate there will be no problem, but since he don't have primary school certificate nor secondary school certificate the only certificate certificate he have is Bsc and in Nigeria Bsc is not considered as a certificate without nysc or exemption letter. Therefore if Tinubu produce a Bsc certificate without nysc certificate or exemption letter is as good as not providing any result. Think think think

You don't need to do NYSC to be eligible for elections, the courts have ruled on this in the recent past.

Please share the source of definition for para-military and what it is that makes NYSC para-military. I do not believe NYSC is para-military

The NYSC was conceptualized by a Military Regime initially as a Reserved Force comparising of young graduates but at the implementation phase, the Regime were afraid that exposing educated youths to military training could lead to 'coups' and the programme was readjusted.

Till today, the enrolles into the NYSC are trained by soldiers at a camp for 21 days and the Scheme is headed by a Military Officer.

Military and Police officers don't need to participate in NYSC which is actually a para-military program.

Chief Babaremilekun Fani-Kayode was a great politician who moved the successful motion for the independence of Nigeria on the floor of the House of Representatives in 1959.

Earlier in 1956, Hon Tony Enahoro had moved the motion for Independence but the motion was never passed as discussions about the planned Independence were thwarted by members from Northern Nigeria who wanted the British Colonial Masters to continue to rule till when the North will be ready.

In 1958, Hon Ladoke Akintola also moved a motion for Independence but that motion was also killed.

GAC is an influential but a pressure group within the Lagos APC. There are similar pressure groups everywhere e.g PDP Youths wing, Lagos4Lagos Movement etc

It's NOT an organ of the party and this is why it's not existing in other States where APC form the States Government. It's not in the Constitution of the APC.

State Chapaters of political parties are actually like branch offices of a company, they can't create an organ of the party on their own.
