This is just primary election within the parties where only the delegates will vote and for certain reasons an aspirant may not visit certain States but talk with the most appropriate leaders in such States to get their delegates e.g Peter didn't visit Adamawa State, Wike didn't visit Sokoto, Borno and Taraba States.




Atiku didn't visit the S/East before the PDP primaries.

Saraki, Tambuwal, Ahmed Lawan, Amaechi didn't visit the S/East.


Dave Umahi, Nnamani and Ogbonnaya Onu didn't visit S/West or any State outside their States of origin.

The whole south can not really round an Igbo, Ijaw or Yoruba candidate because there are many political parties.

What you are suggesting can only work if there is only one party or one STRONG party and several weak political parties (like the PDP between 1999-2015)such that the hierarchy of such party can decide to zone their ticket to a particular place.

If there are alternative political parties, they will choose candidate from another zone.

Tinubu has Bachelor of Business Administration and he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) before retiring as Treasurer/Auditor at ExxonMobil ,he wouldn't have reached such an enviable post in a multinational corporation if he didn't posses the requisite academic qualifications.
