EducationRe: 10 Reasons Why You Should Not Quarrel With Your Lecturer by oyetunder(m): 6:52am On Aug 03, 2016
Good submission, but not a balanced one! Lecturers too should be informed why they should not fight some special student! There are times one cannot avoid fighting with his/her lecturers! And as a student, you may have what it takes to win. Personally, I was pushed to the wall in my university days by Three lectures including the HOD-though I was the most brilliant student in my department...I fought them together and to God be the glory, they were all defeated and even disgraced out. 13 years later, some of them are still begging me for forgiveness, though I've forgiven them repeatedly.

You see, how did she campaign? It means she never verbally defended her political mission before her people voted for her to be their honourable in the house! Chai! Welcome to naija where a well connected Monkey can easily win an election. Nay, don't boo her, boo those who thumb-printed her.

The same students who experienced all these will still become political leaders tomorrow only to facilitate further decay. Nigerians are only good at shouting when the 'wahala' affects them, but when it is not, they will engage in a monumental silence. Alas! As long as most Nigerians are busy arguing from the premises of religions, tribes and political affiliation, those in power shall feel free to continue promoting further collective decay.
PoliticsRe: Fayose Distributes Tubers Of Yams To Ekiti State Residents by oyetunder(m): 7:57am On Jul 25, 2016
Even if aroso rice is foreign to Ekitis, is 'yam' also foreign? A state where they even have what it takes to feed a Nation when it comes to yam. This is one state where researchers even claimed that they had the highest rates of 'twins-birth' globally due to yam consumption. But by the time Ekitis are now depending on welfare tubers of yam, then what is happening? I wish fayose empowers the Ekiti farmers to plant more yam than distributing few tubers.

Though tragic, the lesson remains that whatever we want to do, let us do it fast! Each second is so important...we must keep moving. Her death could be natural or un-natural, yet she fulfilled a dream at least-and today she is still being remembered. If anyone was responsible for her death, I'm sure the person must have died too.

When those who are positioned already to have enough still continue to take more than enough. They first wanted to be rich...after being rich, they did all they could do and became super-rich. After becoming super-rich however...they still desired to be fantastically rich, and they became fantastically corrupt. But they shall be fantastically hunted...

Christianity EtcThe 'dead' Were Once Alive by oyetunder(op): 3:56pm On Jul 01, 2016
THE 'DEAD' WERE ONCE ALIVE:- All around us people are dying all the time! Yes, those we know and those we do not know are dropping dead every second. No second passes without someone somewhere dying. Isolated and combined graves dotted our geographical terrains to remind us about the final reality of this earthly life.

Sad indeed, despite all these things; most of us who are still breathing are living as if we shall be here forever. The unbridled quests for money, power, fame, position among others have veiled the souls of many to the reality of death.

Oh, we have forgotten that those lying silently in their coffins were once alive and bubbling...they too had unlimited ambitions, they desired and occupied positions, they ruled in the affairs of men, and they commanded money.

It is true; those whose skeletons are decaying today deep inside the soils of those cemeteries were once beautiful and handsome...they chased, dated, and married the dynamic men and angelic women of their times and seasons. But 'death' ended their adventures and voyages...and like a sun, they set into a total darkness.

We that are blessed to still be alive at this very moment should remember our Creator...we should consider our Maker in our ways. We must not forget that each passing second brings us closer to the end of our sojourn on this planet.

In our race to be the most popular, richest and powerful we must not forget that none of us is sure of that moment when we shall take the bow and be left for others to bury. We must not allow our minds to be deceived into thinking we shall be here forever in flesh.

The toys, materials, cars, houses, husbands, wives, children, friends, foods, drinks, positions and titles we love so much shall one day be separated from us when that whistle blows. Teach us to number our days oh Jesus.

Is there any politician in Nigeria worthy of such supportive protests? Agrarian mentality or induced protest? I remember how some youths protested in support of Abacha then. Yes, some youths so much loved Adolf Hitler that they even reported their fathers to Hitler's killer squads. I'm not surprised...the moment the devil and his demons still enjoy supports among humans, so also shall both APC and PDP 'gladiators of destruction' shall continue to enjoy supports from some humans. Alas! Our education at its best is busy producing educated but un-lettered thousands. But let these youths remember how hungry Esau sold his birthright to Jacob...

PoliticsRe: Aregbesola Commissions New Yam Market In Osun by oyetunder(m): 3:10pm On Jun 26, 2016
Let me take the risk and talk. New Yam Market? Chai, old yam tubers don suffer o. When are we going to have leaders who can think? How will these market lead to abundance of yam(s)? Were osun farmers crying for markets to display their yam(s)! The last time I remember, those who are into yam business always go with lorries to the nearest roads to the farms of farmers with many yams to harvest and load straight to the cities. I saw an open space with fitted blocks... Well, the place can always be useful for other things later. All these elected politicians, when their eight years is gradually coming to an end, you will see them commissioning anything from waste-baskets to slippers.
PoliticsTo Those Who Desired Buhari's Failure by oyetunder(op): 3:04pm On Jun 26, 2016
TO THOSE WHO DESIRED BUHARI'S FAILURE:- Of course, I'm not a member of APC... Also, I'm not from the North. I don't owe APC or PDP any apology. Yes, for reasons best known to me, I've been neutral-though not passive.

Since majority of Nigerians decided to dethrone PDP after 16 years in power, I've observed how the unlimited bitterness of some people had pushed them to the zenith of evil imaginations directed towards at Buhari- the product of APC. Suddenly as if some people wanted PDP to remain in power forever. The inferno of their hatred have been raging terrible and tough.

Like a wounded tiger, every move made by Buhari is greeted by claws of rejection and suspicion! Then one wonders how these people endured 16 years under the yoke of PDP. To some tribal loyalists who felt their kinsman was denied, the country must explode- they have forgotten that the whole nation once gladly elected the same man. To the emergency friends of these tribal loyalist, Jonathan defeat was taken too personal to the extent that they felt all must be finally destroyed. To the friends and benefactors of PDP big players, their sorrow is understandable, having lost the keys to the doors of our wealth, their collective fury is now beyond bounds. And to the grass-root players, the defeat of PDP deflated their ego so much they now prefer the annihilation of the country rather than Buhari succeeding as a leader.

Those who had benefited from the mismanagement of the past leaders are crying out loud about being victimised-even when they are busy returning their loots-yet their sympathiser have joined them in mourning at the village square.

Why should anybody wished that Buhari fails? Who are those suffering from the failures of our past leader? Are we not? The poverty, unemployment, blackout, and te debt they had created have no respect or regard for age, religion, tribe, gender or political affiliation. We should know that our challenges are not like two football clubs facing each other on the village green with their different supporters arguing around the pitch.

Yes, it is not about a PDP and APC; it is about our national destiny. It is not about cheap and shallow media or online attacks and fabrication. It is not about finding tiny ways to rubbish every effort to move forward. Some of us had even been relegated to the level of sympathising with those caught with billions...as the cry of selective prosecution or intimidation could be heard all over. In all these we want to build a great nation? No. It is true, many Nigerians more than ever wanted Jonathan to succeed, but hmmm- it is now a history.
We should stop sitting down on our chairs while expecting Buhari to fail. God forbid, if he fails, his failures is actually a national failure. Let those who are willing to support evil experiments remember that they also could become a component of such experiment. So help us God. Amen.
PoliticsRe: EFCC Freezes Accounts Of Omisore, Obanikoro’s Sons by oyetunder(m): 8:12am On Jun 26, 2016
I think one can now conclude that there are some online agents being sponsored to rubbish and categorise any story about those who gallantly robbed our country as fables or victimisation. Imagine, any news about those who shamelessly stole are greeted by some online 'Judas' as victimisation and selective justice. Who are such people defending? Surely, it is a case of a slave who had fallen deeply in love with his owner, even like a ram gladly following its killer to the slab. Even in advanced climes, all the thieves cannot be arrested, but those the society are lucky to arrest cannot be defending themselves based on the fact that some fellow thieves are roaming free- that would be the zenith of stupidity. How I wished PDP had selectively arrested the APC thieves when they were in power, at least, Buhari would have completed the task now by arresting the thieves from their own side. Why defending any national thief why we are all in this mess? And to those eager to celebrate the failure of buhari, what will they gain but further suffering and hardship? Poverty/power failure/unemployment among others have no respect for tribe, age, religion or political affiliation.
CrimeRe: Lekan Shonde To Stand Trial For Wife’s Murder – DPP by oyetunder(m): 8:00am On Jun 26, 2016
All these deadly stories oozing out of marriages should be lessons to all the singles! Sadly however, those coming are flatly refusing to learn. The tell-tale signs are always flashing during courtships, but the 'monumental greed' being displayed by single guys and ladies is unrivalled in blinding their eyes to admit realities. Also, so many, especially ladies have 'parents' and brainless 'friends' who fuelled their greed for rich dudes without character! A friend of mine wisely refused to go with his car on the day he first met his girl's parents, the girl's father tactically refused to allow her daughter marry him. That a guy or lady is from a rich home, with a fat salary or intimidating certificate is not a guarantee that all is well. Yes, even religion could be a deceptive veil, it is not about speaking in tongues or leading the jumat... It is not always about how handsome or beautiful, not frequently about his height or her feminine apparatuses.

This is what i call one sided thinking.. What you should ask yourself is "Has there been any conviction?" How has all these so called corruption case helped us??Over the months and years what tangible move has he taken economy wise??All he is doing is chasing and bullying his percieved opposers into submission anytime they speak against him... When there was the so called corruption in previous administrations , we were not that bad!!! So we would wait till forever before we begin to see progress.. Don't tell me you are one of those who have been properly decieved
well, the deception according to you has at least brought back some stolen millions! Is Buhari the judges to just haul them into jails?

Most Nigerians are like the children of Israel who would always cried to go back to Egypt whenever they faced any obstacle on their journey to the promise land. What do we want in this country? Despite all the hidden crimes being exposed, some are still screaming that Buhari's fight is one-sided!!! How I wish PDP had even fought a one-sided battle against corruption, at least by now Buhari would be fighting the untouched side. Some are shouting about the economy? Corruption of any form shall like a cancer kill any economy no mathher how we try to move it forward. Let's expose the flat tires.

You see now, let us beware of those beating the drums of war all the time. It leads to waste...horror and useless needless graves. Liberia...Somalia...Sierra leone... What are their gains? We should not allow criminals to hide behind religion, resources, and politics to unleash terror. They had ended up wounding their regions more. Lord have mercy... Alas, even if foods were sent, I trust the Nigerians along the chain, the food may end up in foodstuffs markets in lagos and abuja.

But where were these olunloyos when their daughter was busy abusing everybody? They even tried to protect her 'trash' by claiming what? I wish they had earlier came to release a press statement when their 'child' was busy throwing stones. I'm not amazed...it is one those Tom and Jerry individuals among us.
