PoliticsRe: Enugu Will Become An Oil-producing State Soon by Ozonna(m): 5:22pm On Aug 19, 2012
chino24: Come and get the oyel nah? grin
It is your backward state that should be compared to the likes of Taraba, Gombe, Jigawa and co. Parasites, what does you ediots even contributing to Alaigbo, nothing?
People don't stay in Anambra, but it has population thrice your rural enugu state, all your town people are at Upper Iweka doing job men.

Its only a dullards and fools like you that are still in that mess of a state call enugu state. How many investments that will create job has been attracted to enugu state, come to Anambra today foriegn investors are all over the place setting up there facility, you are still yapping enugu this. You governor is a clown. Because your clueless governor tarred few KM of road, what about rural areas? No wonder you guys don't develop extensively. My town Uga is so developed that it will take your own town 200yrs to reach where we are at the moment.

See una head like wawa people, you suddenly have oyel because there is now oil in Anambra
What wrong with you? Why so much hate against wawa people? Are we no longer Igbos? Do you think Anambra people are the only Igbo tribe in the world? You know that Anambra can't survive in isolation.

Inasmuch as i still think this story is too good to be true (i pray this story be true),you strike me like a person that's not always happy about your/a neighbours success. Dude, try and be happy for other people success.

Oh yes our Governor is working, Enugu is working and to God be the glory.

Clark should contact leaders of other ethnic groups in 9ja delta, meet Uwezue led Ohaneze and Fasoranti led Afenifere. These leaders should meet with the Polotical leaders in their and advice them on the need to have a SOUTHERN GOVS forum.

Let the leaders of all the Southern States put pressure on their elected representatives to in favour of true fiscal Federalism(State police, resource control, etc)whenevr debate for constitution amendment starts

AjanleKoko: Nobody can say for sure. But doing it is sure better than not doing it.
I would recommend that you go for it. Go a step further and do a little research about what's currently going on in that power sector. There are lots of IPPs (independent power projects) all across the nation, and I am sure they would be looking for hands-on people, as opposed to the regular Nigerian graduate with lots of certificates and zero skill. Go for it.
Thank you Sir. I appreciate
Foreign AffairsRe: Egyptian President Mursi Sacks Army Chief Tantawi! by Ozonna(m): 7:49pm On Aug 12, 2012
This is not good for Isreal at all. The Military headed by Tantawi are trying to prevent a full blown war between Isreal and Egypt and this will happen immediatelly Mursi led Brotherhood takes full control of the military. Infact, moderate Islamic nations like Saudi,UAE,Qatar,Bahrain, etc will not be happy with this development. They are all scared of radical Islamic groups and thier sponsors thats why they they don't like leaders of Syria and Iran.

This is not good for world peace.
CareerRe: Electrical Engineering: Aspirants and Practitioners by Ozonna(m):
stealth007: @Rhynne,
You've waited for so long before you realised that it's a mirage for an Engineeer to pursue non-professional career in a banking Sector.
In response to your quest for professionalism, with your grade you can do your MSc in Elect in Unilag unhindered. Form usually comes out around March / April of every year.
What you need right now is the transition job/training. Your emphasy right away should be on skills acquistion, no matter what. You can start by undergoing training with the CREDIBLE ORGANIZATIONS, the likes of Siemens Power Academy, AETI. If you think you can't afford these then in my view you'll have to go the hard way by attaching yourself to credible organization paherps without pay. You can as well opt for contract ones, but make sure it is highly technical, the pay may not be what you expect but it will pay out, you may be surprised that these will be done for less than six month. The worst you can do is to be idle. Mostly important be determined, pray with the sincerity of purpose and God willing success will be yours.
Good luck.
Stealth007
Good evening to you and all the experienced hands (mentors)here. I'm in dire need of your advice here.

My Boss is already planing to retire and go back to east by december this year as he's about finishing his factory in the east and i advised myself that i wont continue in this line of business cos i've looked at this industry and discovered that fuel importation won't last beyond 2015.
So i decided that i need an option B. Grabbing a skill in power/machhinery engineering won't be a bad idea cos of the privatisation and unbundling of PHCN. It may be like the Telecom job opportunity boom we had when GSM companies started in 9ja.

I've made some inquiries about Siemens power academy, i was told that i'll start with a 3months course and the fees are N800,000. Now my question is, IS IT WORTH IT? Do you know how their program is (I.e is it really hands on practical program cos that is what i really need) and will employers want to employ me if they see Siemens power academy in my cv?

I need to be sure before paying. Thanks

I'll not just vote for him, I'll even campaign free of charge. I'll move to core north to campaign and even r¤g for him. Ofcourse I'll wear a combination of local and imported "odeshi" for the job.

Do you guys know what it means if we get power? Bible says seek Ye the kingdom of God n every other thinng shall be added unto us. In the same manner, if we have stable power, every oda tin shall be added unto us
PoliticsRe: Our Olympic Performance, A Reflection Of The Nigerian Nation by Ozonna(m): 12:36am On Aug 07, 2012
Guys abeg let's not blame Pres GEJ for our olympic flop. Its not his fault that we started preparing for olympics few weeks to the tournament. We should blame the elected officials of National olympic commitee and different sports federations who where elected and not appointed by GEJ.

However, for us to do well in future olympics we need massive funding in all the sports events that we feel we have comparative advantage. We need to ressurect and fund school sports.

I know a country like UK give some sort of financial aid to their athletes from the proceeds they get from lottery. We can do same for here in Nigeria. What are the Lottery and Gaming commission doing with taxes/fees they get from Baba Ijebu and co? We had National Sports lottery some years back but mismanagement killed that program.

Mr President and NSC should revitalise the Lottery commission. Lottery commission should be disbursing some amount of money to our top athletes (to pay their private coaches and register for top competitions abroad) and different lesser sports federations(Wrestling,Taekwondo,Judo,Rowing,Badminton, etc) every month.

Government can't sponsor sports alone because its too capital intensive. However, companies should also be encouraged to sponsor some sporting events.

PoliticsRe: Southern States To Construct Lagos-Calabar Rail Line by Ozonna(m): 2:51pm On Jul 31, 2012
Nebeuwa: This sounds like a very good investment for the South-West, South-East and South-South. I do not wish to sound like a cynic, but I feel that this may be a plot to make Southern Nigeria more cohesive politically and economically.
Read it ystday and was discussing it with a friend and she said maybe Southern Nigeria are trying to integrate.
PoliticsRe: Southern States To Construct Lagos-Calabar Rail Line by Ozonna(m): 2:39pm On Jul 31, 2012
kettykin: The point is that in order of priority considering the paucity of funds and limited life of the Administration , the needful thing is to commit the resource in to deepening the Already constructed sea ports in PHand Calabar , rather than start another tail spin project that sounds very good but no body can determine how it will end.

The Ibaka and Calabar Sea port will in a long way reduce the number of East west transpotation carrying goods on heavy duty trailer there by increasing the life span of the Lagos Asaba expressway , it will also decongest the Oshodi Apapa express way leaving the roads intact for the use of Lagosians, it will go along way to free up estates in Satellite town , Festac, Apapa, Coconut, Ajegunle as most of the Igbos and other Maritime workers living and doing business in those locations will move to Ibaka , Aba, PH, an Calabar , this will go along way to preserve the live of other infratsture in Lagos like 3rd mainland bridge which is presently undergoing repairs , reduce the carnage on the Lagos Asaba expressway leaving the route free for non commercial travellers e.t.c
You just made heavy sense. This is the only way Lagos can be decongested and go a long way in developing other regions.

Maybe someone should sell dis idea to d govs instead of the rail project

Anything short of True Federalism which will lead to establishment of State Police in the country to curb crime (BH) is a waste of time and resources(both Men & Material). Instead of calling for empowerment of NPF,the General should add his voice and call for True Federalism

Best leader? Bro, can back this up with any fact?

BusinessRe: FG To Stop Rice Importation In 2015 by Ozonna(m): 7:34pm On Jul 23, 2012
I must say that this is a good policy. We've been spending billions of dollars annually importing rice over the years. Imagine what the amountof jobs it'll create, i must confess that minister of Agriculture may actually be the best we've ever had believe it or not hes one of the best in GEJ's administration.

meanwhile we still have from now to 2015 to prepare ourselves,so its not as if we'll be caugth unaware
Christianity EtcRe: Tunde Bakare Summoned Over Sermon by Ozonna(m): 7:21pm On Jul 23, 2012
SSS just succeeded in giving Pastor Bakare with new sermon next sunday. they just gave him cheap publicity and this is bad for Pres GEJ. They would've ignored him and GEJ would've replied him by performing a thing or two short term magic. let his performance speak for him instead of SSS. SSS have done more harm than good to pres GEJ by arresting Pastor Bakare

GEJ will escape by bribing some members and increasing the allocation of state govs (Godfathers of most HOR members)which ofcourse is corruption and the scarce money will be used to settle dem. SIMPLE!!!

Let's assume that the impeachment works and Sambo or David Mark is made our leader, do you think MEND will fold their hands. Let's not forget that Tompolo is now CSO of our waterways and GEJ gave him over $100m for d new job. MEND will cripple our oil industry and may even extend thheir bombing campaign to Innocent pple. Infact,MEND may make Bokites look like amateurs.

Now imagine how Nigeria will be with Boko haram/fulani nomads operating in the nNorth and MEND in the south. It'll overstretch our military. @ the ennd of the day Nigeria may cease to exist after few months of war. Infact,we're playing into the hands of those dat want Nigeria to split. The problem is that there'll be bloodshed.

I'm ready to bet with anybody that GEJ has something in mind by giving a warlord contract to secure our waters and sincerely I don't blame GEJ.

The onnly way to remove GEJ is if God takes his life. Until den, let him stay till 2015 and if he doesn't perform, we'll vote for anoda person.

PoliticsRe: Senators Fight Over Grazing Land For Fulani Herdsmen by Ozonna(m): 4:54pm On Jul 21, 2012
PapaBrowne: The solution is simple. Rearing cattle is big business. The market is worth over 5 Billion Dollars. Southerners and Middle belters should start rearing their own cattle and knock these guys out of business. When there is no body to buy those Fulani Borodo cattle anymore they would not have any need for grazing land. In many countries across the world, cattle is farmed. Grazing nomadically is old school. Countries like Netherlands and Denmark are amongst the biggest dairy produces yet they have very limited land supply. They don't graze.
Imagine if cattle was farmed in Ogun state, the cost of cattle would be cheaper by dozens for the bulk of Lagosians for the simple reason that the cost of Transportation would be much less since the cattle doesn't have to come from all the way Sokoto! Plus better farming practices and you get even fatter & healthier cows. We are at their mercy because the meat we eat comes from them!

Business is the solution. Southerns should start farming cattle! Simple. I'm working on a project in that light.
Mimiko is training some pple on cattle-rearing in Ondo(saw it on TV). A Guber Aspirant in Anambra now has a cattle ranch (my friend has been there). So with time, southerners/middle beltans will start producing beef.
