I'm currently controlling mosquitoes in my area with the insecticide treated net, along with "Raid," we are in the season these insects are most rampant. Mosquitoes gave me a heck of a trouble before I placed these nets in front of our doors. Mosquito's bites demean human life quality in so many ways, once I get bitten once I become less active, less efficient and less interested in whatever I'm doing. The deadly effect of a mosquito's bite can send one into fatigue in a moment, even if it hasn't developed into a malaria infection. So I don't see any benefits of these deadly parasites in human. My own response sign to a mosquito's bite is sneezing, it can come and go profusely just at the time I'm trying to be focused in something, I also think mosquitoes affect human brain based on how my body responds to its bites. This insect is a nightmare to me. |
somehow:The lady doesn't know real men lose taste in the sex that is attached to material gain. The moment I know there is something materialistic involved in having sex with a woman, I just feel like I'm dealing with my property (like a bought car) and there is no emotional connection anymore. Part of the problem with these ladies has its root in African culture, men are deemed as the archetype of overladen bulwark and women as survivors that must leech on the former. But the society is changing, orchestrated by western cultures, these ladies don't want to realize this truth out of self greed. A woman that is not lazy today has a better chance of becoming self reliant than a man. If two partners decide to help each other, it shouldn't be based on the platform of sex or gender, it should be who has more or is in need at that moment and the deliberate will of one partner to help the other not coerced. That is why most relationships in Nigeria can't stand a test of struggle because they are built on the false premise of which partners have the capability to satisfy the other sexually and material wise. If you are having sex with the hope of getting material compensations in the end, you are simply a prostitute, no argument about that. |
The one you are supposed to write first you write last: create quality content, simple! |
she might sound greedy or lazy, but she is actually not far from the truth. Most jobs in Nigeria are slavish in nature, if you have a talent to invest in something, Nigeria's labor force is not the best place to do that. If you have a business of your own, you can leave better even if you earn less than half of monthly take home of some workers. |
It is not easy for Nigerians back home, and now overseas. Though Nigerians have poor reputation online, for instance a country beside us here Cameroon, is more trusted, most of these foreigners are just greedy, especially people from the West: Europe, America and the likes. They will ask for help whenever they need it, but to pay for that help, they are not willing. Some will even pretend as if they want to pay for that help to get you to divulge more information until you find out in the last minute they are just trolls. I have had better relationships with Asian clients, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, India, until Donald Trump came to power and everybody started practising protectionism. And to those using VPN and foreign profiles, don't forget that any client that wants to pay you lump sum will demand for phone conversations first, maybe they are not doing that on Fiverr but if the deal is worth hundreds or thousands of dollars, they will ask for a phone chat and can easily trace your geo location in their GPS device even if you are using a foreign number. Maybe the VPN still works, but these people are getting smarter with phone calling. |
Nebes:It saddens me that black people are hated indiscriminately, not because they are hated by other races but because they fail to understand the true joy of blacks is in Africa. |
Why can't they make the world cup gold, is gold too expensive for that? Something that the whole world waits a long four years for deserves to be made with the precious metal, just thinking out loud. It might not be entire gold but the outer layer should be gold plated. |
nice, I'm already used to push-up, doing it for over a decade and it is working, clears your mind to give you a strong mind even in the face of depressing circumstances. |
I hope politicians won't spend our national budget on that butt. Chai, Nigerian youth are docile |
The problem isn't the govt, the problem is in the average Nigerians and black people worldwide. When nature bestows people with brain but with inferior mind, you will end up having a deadbeat country like Nigeria. Nigeria is worse than many African countries in terms of a conducive place to do business because Nigerians are more intelligent. With their inferior minds, their brains are better deployed in doing negative stuff they call "hustles." That's why your business will be listed as "high risk" online if you're a Nigerian while someone from Cameroon over there will get a free pass as a legitimate business. |
Saviour22:did he start acting when buhari came to power? make sense at least sometimes |
KyrianOkeke:thanks, is it free? don't forget I'm thinking of recording the video on my smartphone. some people are saying wireless "cavalier" (i dont know if i get that spelling correctly) earpiece, that's what you put in your ears to increase the volume while speaking. |
cool |
cool. but my problem is making video that's audible enough using my android smartphone. does anyone here know how to increase video volume on android device or which earpiece to increase volume in video making? |

with the way this world is going, if you're rich, you will need to buy a gun not to protect yourself against armed robbers but from desperate women who want to rape you on the street ![]() |
SniperSmurf:Women generally, including African women, are the first to run away from anything perceived as a danger. if the society is bad, corrupt and filled with money gobblers as we have in Nigeria, you can expect women to take it to a higher level by worshipping money at all costs. So it is just the way they are. |
I hope Buhari can prove to the world he is a real man. Look at that striking resemblance, the robber is even standing right behind Saraki. This impunity must stop, this same saraki guy was caught in a Panama papers and he used paid protesters to sabotage the court process, his minions will always shout witch hunting. So when you're in opposition and you committed a cold blooded murder, you should be allowed to work free. Some people say Saraki is APC but we all know he is PDP in spirit. if we keep repressing justice like this when one makes confession, then there will be time in future when no one wants to make confession or testify for the good of mankind for fear of being victimized or no justice will be passed. |
I hope this woman is not referring to all Nigerian internet users or entrepreneurs as yahoo boiz, because I think she meets someone who's good-hearted from Nigeria through the internet and she thinks "Yahoo boiz" is a code name for all Nigerian internet users. She should clarify what she means by yahoo boiz first. |
cool stuff |
nice tutorial. thanks |
She is not far from the truth. Checking most marriages, you'll see that the kind of husband a lady married is different from the guy she was dating as a boyfriend. Most ladies settle down for anything once they cannot find their boyfriend-like husband, just to have a place to call home. I concur with her. |
30,000! Let them come back quickly before Germany (a no-nonsense country) do Holocaust to them. I hear people complaining so much about govt in this country, but the state of a nation is a reflection of its own people. "Governments can only come up with rational policies to shape their people's aspirations to the right destination," Barack Obama. There is nothing magical about the developed worlds that we see today. If you go there, you'll see their citizens are just ordinary people like you, even some of them are less intelligent than average Nigerians. But they all have something in common, putting their country first above all. An average Chinese thinks entrepreneurship, building the prototype of a new product, working in the manufacturing or retail of their dream, but an average Nigerian thinks how to become the next hushpuppi ("God pick my call" is a common slogan), working in an oil company, traveling out of the country for greener pastures, the women dream of marrying the richest person on earth. This kind of mindset is a death sentence to any country that aspires to grow. You might argue it depends on individuals, but 200 million individuals make up Nigeria today. The world is getting tired of snobbish thinking of black, that's why they are sending them back home. Germany, one of the most industrialized nations on earth, could have employed these people in key sectors to grow its GDP, but they don't want this attitude to pervade to their future generation. So if you think your country is not doing well in terms of development, first check yourself as a citizen if your attitude towards your fellow citizens can develop a nation. There is no magic in development, only takes the right cooperation and coexistence of people. |
Temple1288:I hope you can handle intellectual discussion because I see a lot of people vituperating on this forum. Trump made a lot of promises that he has reneged on in his presidency. Like totally pulling USA military out of Afghanistan, the decision he has pulled back on by sending 3,000 more American troops to the country, because he sees it as a leeway to contain China's economic projects in the middle east, like China Pakistan Economic Corridor CPEC that has seen multiple attacks from terrorists. Adding to that is Afghanistan's large deposit of mineral resources that America is eyeing. Second, he threatened to name China a currency manipulator in the campaign trail, which he dares not to at this time that Americans are cozying up to Chinese for economic benefits. He said he is going to place tarrifs on $100 billion worth of Chinese imports which we all know is a political game as America is going to lose any trade war with China. Picking up fights against weaker nations like Syria, Iran does not equate to someone willing to pit his gut against big players like China and Russia. And pulling the United States out of multiple deals does not excuse his political weakness either. It is easier to destroy something that someone else worked hard to build than to build your own legacy. Even a small power like North Korea made America suffer before trying to negotiate deals with the country, and don't ever get caught in the illusion that North Korea is going to denuclearize. So Donald Trump is not a man of his words, he tweets something now and in few days' time he tweets another one. In fact, he is the most unstable and unpredictable president America has had in its history. |
Yes I agree with people saying "Content is king" but backlinks is the crown also. The point is that I have been in the web content marketing business for some time, but these three pillars are inseparable: CONTENT, BACKLINKS and KEYWORD RESEARCH. Yes, you can rank your website on top of search with quality content, but ranking does not always equate to money, because the quality of traffic coming from Google is varied. Some keywords are easily ranked for even without a single backlink on your page, while some are neck-breakingly competitive. If you see a keyword that is competitive, that's because there is money in it, and you can write all the quality content in the world without sniffing Google's first page results for the query, because some other marketers have already monopolized the keyword with quality content, backlinks, and PPC. To put it in perspective, you can make much more money from 50 daily visitors of a keyword compared to one thousand daily visitors by another keyword. My rational advice is to support your quality content with backlinks if you know you can't rank for the target keywords now, and if you can come up with quality content consistently, that will be a huge PLUS for those that would naturally link to your page. In short, if you have capacity to produce quality content on a consistent basis, go for content. And if you can only write a piece of content at a time, go for backlinks. |
nice thread. may be useful later. thanks |
Raiders:That doesn't discount the fact that there's truth in what he is saying. $3 million USD? That's equivalent to over 1 billion naira based on the current exchange rate. No doubt the young man is doing well for himself, but let's not over-hype the truth also. |
Nice points OP. Even I have been blogging for a while, I know all these tips, I still find them useful. Now you wonder why the President called Nigerian youth "Lazy," they hardly comment on anything that's reasonable like business, but if it's quick-rich scheme, celebrity, or nu.dity, their comments will be flowing everywhere. |
And you expect white people to see blacks as their equals with this mentality. Look at the surroundings where the money is sprayed itself, that money could have been better used to upgrade the layers of grass that are seen eaten up on that field, you cannot see such grass in a white man's country. Blacks are definitely the lowest ebbs of human civilization. |
Nice thread |
Nice thread. But the same time building wealth for Chinese manufacturers from here in Nigeria. I wonder when Nigeria will revive its manufacturing. |
