CrimeRe: 'Leave Yahoo Boys Alone, They Are Collecting Back Our Money' - Lady by pacespot(m): 7:51pm On Aug 30, 2017
Sincerely speaking, this yahoo boy thing has some justification in it.

As it's increasingly becoming difficult to make money online (I mean real money) as an African doing legitimate business. I'm a firsthand experience on this.

On getting to know you're from black continent, prospective clients immediately turn off the juicy package they wanted to negotiate earlier with you and you'll start hearing different stories of business that will not add much to your coffer.
I've lost dozens of high profile clients due to this.

People discriminate based on nationality on whom to partner with in online business, even on which websites to visit, statistics have proven this many times.

Though I'm an advocate of a legitimate business, but as it turns out, people can also hack your online business if you're not internet savvy enough. I've found that the significant portions of threats coming to my website are from the United States.

So if they don't want to deal with me and still want to hack my business, then I can also hack their brain through yahoo things and it's all fair and square. Just joking ooo smiley

Yahoo yahoo is bad ooo smiley smiley find something better doing. You can't excuse crime for anything.

But if the victims of yahoo boys are those who discriminate against legitimate online businesses, then I'm fine with that.
NYSCRe: Unemployment: How To Deal With Parental Pressure After NYSC by pacespot(m): 6:24am On Aug 29, 2017
People keep saying you shouldn't stay with your parents after NYSC. What of if the kind of work you're presently doing requires you to stay with your parents. Like blogging where you have access to good internet and electricity in your parents' house. Or a retail business where your business location is close to their house.

I think the whole formula that moving out of your parents' house after NYSC is the best option depends on individuals. If your parents are understanding types, then you'll have no problem staying with them and assist with whatever you can, instead of staying away from them doing unproductive activities that wouldn't bring growths to your career journey.

I don't have problems staying with my mother once in a while I'm around. The problem is the busy-body neighbours that like to always ask her "where your son is working?" Thank god our house has a gate and a very tall fence. I lock the shitty visitors out each time I'm around. People wouldn't mind their business in Nigeria.

I LOVE THIS

The number one problem facing Nigeria is DEMOCRACY

You cannot rule a country, that its citizens are still grappling with civilization, with the furore of western democracy successfully.

When a system is based on "per term," then it's likely to result into "per share." Sharing the ruling class based on geopolitical zones will inevitably result into abrupt end of a representation that is skewed towards the ruling elites rather than the people they are meant to represent.

"It is our turn to shop," remember the slogan

A leader will feel more responsible to his country if he knows his leadership position is not under any threat.

Take a perspective of a mother who goes to any length to protect her child, even risk her own life doing so. Because she knows her child will never forsake her.

The fact is, Africa is not yet ripe for democracy. We need a system of government that's more stable and not based on a model that gives room to cynicism and congregations of naysayers and rabble rousers in the name of opposition as we have in Nigeria today. Democracy breeds corruption because there is no way one man (the president) could effectively fight it. Even the western countries are facing the turbulence of democracy today.

We need a more unified system of government that will provide access for people to express their grievances but not enough to disrupt their country. If you put a technocrat in such system, then be ready to see the change he will be willing to bring.

China, for instance, is a one-party state. The leader, Chinese president, is elected by the communist party of China. He wields total control over both the judiciary and the legislature, including the financial institutions and private businesses operating in China. Yet, he is also culpable if found guilty of corruption. Such system helps the country to fend off the disruptive noises that come with democracy as people will only have to worry about one man: their president, to bring the needed change.

Nigeria also needs to jettison a zoning leadership: rotating the presidency on geopolitical basis only serves to reinforce a sense of entitlement among the ruling elites.

If they don't boot that animal (Donald trump) out of white house as soon as possible, he intends to set dangerous precedent for the entire human race in race relation. It's either he is incompetent and doesn't know the implication of what he's doing, or he just has uncontrolled obsessions for power and ready to do anything to hold on to it. He looks very much the latter, and it's very bad and dangerous.

I'm sure someone close to this man in its administration is messing around with his health. He should be more careful of what to eat or drink, and where to stand when he returns. A president does not need to be everywhere to serve his people.

I'm sure his anti corruption campaign is not going down well with the cabals, now Saraki is set free. And ever since IMF, world bank, etc. have been clamoring for Nigeria to deregulate foreign exchange, the PMB's health has been deteriorating.

I don't even know why Nigerian leaders always choose to go to UK, USA, or these western countries over any health issues. If any of these countries or their international bodies (UN, IMF, world bank etc.) criticize you for anything, then going to them for medical treatment is like putting your life in the hands of enemies. These people are fond of using underhand tactics to achieve their mission. China or India has one of the best medical systems in the world today.

Despite his unpopularity, ever since Donald Trump had raised alarm about China's infrastructural project called "one belt one road" which will see China building roads, ports, railways, and maritime links across Asia, Middle East, Europe, and Africa, as China's grand plan to dominate 21st century and usurp the United States as the world number one superpower, western allies (Europe, Australia, and Canada) have been cutting down their investments in China, even when the country is now opening up its economy to foreign investments.

Nigeria should learn lessons from slavery and colonialism in crafting its foreign policy with the west. If they don't perceive you as useful to them anymore, all diplomatic engagement can be cut off in a twinkle of an eye. The world today is looking up to China than the United States, and China is set to lead. Considering that over 75% of world's industrial output is coming from China and its Asian neighbors, then you can say China has some power to wield.

Nigeria should make efforts to align with the new world order, and not puppeteering to the west.

But before we crucify the government, who will go to sambisa forest to cook delicious meal for these guys? It is probably the result of lapses in our food culture which lacks adequate preparation and preservation methods that will make the food last for some days. How can you package Amala, Tuwo, and Apu in containers for days without getting spoilt. Unlike white men that can stock up their food in tin that will last them for months

mazimee:
Racism will never end. I meant every single word I said.
The only way to end racism is to develop Africa. No shortcut, that's the only way. A black man will always be judged by his origin. If a black man goes to a white man's land and makes a revolutionary change, that will only be ascribed to his family alone. Other black people are still looked the same as scavengers and below-par with the whites.

I deal with white men daily, forget it, this racist thing is not going away anytime soon. It is ingrained in us as human to look down on the other person because he is less successful. It will surprise you the level of understanding that white men have about the black people. They know that, individually we are strong, but collectively we are weak. That even gives them sense they can put things back in control, should black men start to realize their potentials and develop themselves.

If she is a woman like Cossy, no big deal. But she looks a bit like an innocent kid. I think those pegantry organisers took advantage of her naivety as a teenager to lure her into making that video. I hope she has moved on and forgotten her past.

Pornstars are being celebrated in the USA. She could even turn her fame into mega business and make millions of dollars off it.

Wishing them a happy married life.

But I think this kneeling thing by men to propose to women is becoming old-fashioned if not ridiculous. You want to spend your money one someone and you're still kneeling to make a wish.

Can't they find better position that wouldn't denigrate either the woman or the man.

Gone are the days when women marry men for their value and trust. Society has changed.

Today's women go for the pocket. While I don't blame them, it's a free world for anybody to make their choice.

But I think this practice should be jettisoned as well. The world is more even today than any other time in human history

While I don't despise the fact that the guy deserves a national recognition, but I think the senator's suggestion is motivated out of his unbridled lust for elite group in the society.

This guy had been in this country all this while and no one seemed to have been able to discover his talent because he was not rich. Now, I learnt he made about $20 million in that mega match alone, they suddenly think he is award worthy.

The money they will spend to host the guy and his ambassadorship will be better spent to groom another Anthony Joshua among our upcoming athletes.
RomanceRe: Men Are Getting Weaker And Women Are Getting Stronger by pacespot(m):
This whole "women first" thing emanates from the western countries and their media. The problem with Africa is whatever is thrown at them, they swallow it hook line and sinker, brandish it and take it to a higher level.

This is where the Arabs are far ahead of the West. They treat their women in a natural way that the nature has set it to be. Despite terrorists don't kill women, a typical Arab woman has utmost respect for a man.

People don't know that women want to be controlled by men. But the moment men lower themselves by listening to the rants of some radicalized women calling themselves feminists, then that control factor is gone. You might be kneeling down to her to make her feel like a queen each time you want to make a wish, but inside her you've unsettled that authority that the nature has bequeathed you to exercise on her.

Michael Jackson was one of the leading voices that fuelled the "every woman is a queen" trance with his always solemn brandishing love musics about women, but he died a lonely man.

I think the nature will settle back itself if people allow the men and women affair to be as natural as possible. What makes a woman happy is the love and attention she is given by her spouse, on the contrary, the men's pride is the source of happiness for a man.

I have seen some momentum building, in the last few days I have read multiple articles in the western media highlighting the state of complexity of women issue in the society. According to PewResearch, for the first time in America history there are more women in the work force than men today. The development which has coincided with the steady collapse of the family structure.

"Women are not women anymore" is the common reason given by most men to opt out of marriage these days. The American law which affirms women position in case of divorce is also a contributing factor. Compared to about 75% in 1980s, only fifty percent of American adults are married today.

So this "women are angels men are devils" mentality is a problem situation for the world generally, but I think the world will be a better place if it can borrow a leaf off of Arabs' cultures which treat women in a way that ensures society order is not jeopardized.

I like the way this lady is handling this rogue, shop and clean mouth apple. If this case was handled in Nigeria he would bribe judge and police to get her arrested. We already seeing one being detained by the god of men in Port Harcourt.

And if by any chance the lady won the case against the apple in Nigeria, his unrepentant sheepies would claim it's a witch-hunt from APC.

Now she had decided to take it to a level playing field where only justice could prevail. I will see if the apple would boycott Canada if the lady got court injunction for her claim. If he does, he should be ready to boycott the USA as well.

This man has bitten more than he can swallow

People hardly comment on this type of post, don't know why. Even if I decided to comment 3 days after this kind of thread was started, I would still be in front page.

But if it's a thread about nudity or some gossips that will not add value to their lives, you will hardly make front page even 20 seconds after the thread was created.

Only God knows the characters of the people that are on this forum. This forum is filled with the worst set of Nigerians out there. It's not as bad as this on other Nigerian publications like The Sun, Vanguard, Sahara Reporters, even on Facebook, people still inculcate some level of sensibility.

Little wonders no one takes Nigerians serious outside world again when it comes to business issues. The people who are made to pay the price are the business minded Nigerians who still believe in legitimate means of earning living.

It's a terrifying situation, where the good are choked and the bad thrive
