iMerchant:I watched your conversation with other people, I could see you're very saucy gaan. Being a faceless forum you can say whatever you like and get away with it, it just shows the 'kidness' in you. I hope you meet someone that will help you panel-beat your mouth one day. |
iMerchant:Take vaseline for the butts whey I dey see better ones every day broadly unclad. I just want to know if you're getting paid for this advert |
iMerchant:Lol, how many of these ladies do you have contact with? |
Booty calls |
After this toad was constantly harassed by US security operatives, he ran back to jungle to come and use their security operatives to harass the snobbish monkeys. This shows a gulf in sanity between the two societies. I puke each time I remember I'm a Nigerian! |
Good info, I'll put it into try on my laptop |
Sycophancy is the second nature of an average Nigerian. Talking from experience, when you're in a small car, you will see an old man old enough to be your grandpa calling you Daddy. The annoying thing is that, the same man will take an offense tomorrow when you pass him by without greeting without a car. I heard someone saying he is bowing for the office she represents, I tell you this man is bowing for her pocket. Even, does a first lady has an office according to the constitution? Supposed it was a governor, where is it even written in the constitution that you should bow for a public office holder? Her husband is not a traditional ruler for heaven sake. This is just a sycophancy at its peak! |
seunlayi:Let's stop blaming the Mods for pushing those threads about Celebrity, Entertainment, Nudity, and Snakes as you said into frontpage. Look at this thread, as educating as it is, how many people are viewing or commenting on it. The Mods are only doing what is good for the business, more traffic means more sales. I'm a website owner too, I know the essence of a traffic. So the moderators are only playing by the rule set by Nairaland users. Cheer! |

Immediately I heard a corper was killed, I knew it was going to be a man. It might just be a small argument that led to this guy being shot dead, because I didn't hear where they say he had a confrontation with anyone. Youth, especially male, should be very careful in Nigeria we have today. Your life is worth nothing even to a fellow youth like you, even your fellow corper can shoot you dead for money. That's is the sad reality in a society where young folks are turning to endangered species by the day. If he had come out of service successfully and looked for jobs for just a few months, I believe he would have learnt a lesson that would have made him have a second thought about taking a risk for any cause in present Nigeria. It's a shame he departed in such gruesome manner. RIP |
A society that gives no shi*t about your wealth. Black image, especially Nigerians, has been badly damaged before other races out there. We, the online entrepreneurs, are having a truly hard times convincing our European and North-american clients to even have a small business deal with them. Almost 70 percent of my blog readers are from United States, you could tell that I understand their mentality towards Nigerians quite well. You might be having a smooth business chat with someone, immediately they get to know you are a Nigerian, you could sense the reluctance, just few moments later, they blank out. The bad eggs among the blacks have really caused the good ones an almost irreparable damage out there. It's just a shame! |
Nice info @op, though I haven't tried it |
Nice info @OP |
Cool upgrade! |
The problem now is not even this boy but thousands of other helpless children who have been left to their faith to die based on the judgment of these religious villains. This boy's case is a crisis averted, that's why we can comment on it today. What about those children that the helping hands of a samaritan like this lady cannot get to. There is a high level of paranoia among the black race. And it is all because of weak mentality in african society. That's why they are deemed as wicked. Wickedness is a by-product of Weakness. A little problem will make an African man shell in that he will think the only way out is to turn in his brother. That's why I run away from Weak and Fake people, it's when you needed them most that they will desert you. Africa has a very long way to go, to even imagine a sane society in sight. |
The distance between gej and Buhari is from heaven to earth, sorry, I don't even believe in heaven, is from Earth to Pluto. Despite the fact that Buhari has been handicapped to some extent due to the dwindling oil revenue, this man still has the ball to fight the filthy-rich canker worms in the system. Simply said, Jonathan was a curse on Nigeria. He might have a good intention for the nation as most of his loyalists contend. But what is the essence of a leader who can not take a single risk for his people. Allowing injustice to go unpunished is a complicity in crime. For those criticizing Buhari that he is this or that. I believe if your sister or brother was one of those graduates that lost their lives during the immigration sham, you will want to reconsider your opinion. |
johnydon22:Kai! So this is a little girl rescued by a Danish woman that was accused of witches. Africans are terribly and wickedly religious. What Africans practice are occultic religions. Some of them know that religion is a total deceit but just want to keep to it because it benefits the ruling elites. The bane of Africa is not actually religion, but primitiveness and insensitivity. |
There is nothing bad in what she is doing at all. The problem in Africa is that, we lack Branding Culture. Someone is preparing the food for people to buy and you're referring to it as a condescending job. The same "Akara" you will see people coming down in their posh cars to buy to fill their belle. We don't know how to formalize and brand all these small-scale jobs in Africa that will bring dignity to them. People look down on them but yet can't do without buying their service. You call a pepper seller an illiterate but you can't hold on to your life for one week without taking a pepper. This is where the white men are light years above us. They know how to dignify every small scale business they're doing. You will see a butcher coming to a slaughter house well dressed up in suit with tie. Before pulling over to his working gear. And you will see all the surroundings in the slaughter house well tidy and cleaned up that you will be praying to be a butcher one day in your life. These are the people that we call "Alapata" here in Nigeria that we look with disgust. The same thing with farmers, they are one of the most dignified and richest people in advanced countries. Sometimes, what the government just need to encourage small scale enterprises is to help people brand these professions. And Nigerians must be ready to change their attitude and perception towards these jobs. They are VERY CRITICAL for any nation development. And I think it's easier to achieve this through the graduates taking on these professions. It's not only an illiterate woman that should be baking beans. A graduate can make a living out of it, even become rich, by turning it to something much more attractive. |
Though I like the present scenario of dwindling oil revenue, but it's quite unfortunate it's happening during the current administration. Notwithstanding, they say the man who can't manage the worst scenario can not also manage the best situation. This is the time for hard working Nigerians to step up their game and be the nation's leaders. Unlike the disgruntled buffoons in public offices waiting for federal allocation. An independent business owner has no cause for alarm in this present situation. |
This is just hysterical attention they are showering this lady, they are not real - something Africans are known for. An african man responds to the present as if there is no future and forgetting about the past. Since this lady is a raving subject at present, everybody wants to associate with her even if it involves spending their money for her. I hope she uses her brain and invests wisely coz this attention will not continue for forever. Some people will meet her tomorrow and even spurn her, that's typical of africans. |
Chai! Black people are too gullible especially the youth, I don't believe people will believe this false propaganda that Nigeria's nouvre riche are feeling the pinch of this economic downturns. This is just a way to take many attentions of the masses from their filthy wealth in the face of acute poverty that is about to ravage the common man. These people have stolen enough money and stashed in dollar-denominated foreign banks when the exchange rate was is the region of N150/$1. Do you know what that means to their wealth in the current economic clime - that's double or triple the value of their current worth in Naira. You may say the falling oil price is dwindling their revenue but the accompanying weakening of Naira against dollar is also strengthening their wealth. These people have foreseen all this that is why they chose to keep their money in Swiss Bank rather than in Nigeria. If you tell me it is to avoid the prying eyes of the public then I'll say you have no knowledge about how these financial institutions operate. They can keep their money in Nigerian banks and you will never know who run those accounts. Saying that Nigeria's super rich are feeling any economic pinch is what I will consider a Fallacy of the day's Valentine! |
Only a fool will say CBN is not aware of this racketeering by the commercial banks. I won't be surprised to hear that there is certain amount being remitted back to CBN by these banks. The people who will be at the receiving end are the masses, because the importers will only sell based on the cost of their purchases. My question is that, if someone earns his dollars through an online business (such as Affiliate Marketing), which exchange rate would his payment be accrued to in Naira. Even if you've specified dollar as your payment currency in your account. |
This is a serious issue that shouldn't be taken lightly, because if these disgruntled Nigeria policy makers go ahead with their proposals, the end users are going to be the ones to suffer the brunt. If the matter gets outta hand, it doesn't cost Facebook or other networks that much to shut down their services in Nigeria or even in the whole of Africa. Statistics show that these networks make the large chunk of their revenues from Europe, Asia and North America. Internet and these social networks are the safe haven for most Nigerians who are unable to make ends meet for themselves because of the horrible environment put in pace by this same government. These mobile apps and social media are life savers for most Nigerian graduates out there, at least to earn something to support their families. I don't know why Nigerian governments are always going after something that has potential of benefiting the masses. If the traditional ISPs are not making profits as used to before, why can't they innovate and reinvent the wheel to increase their revenue streams. These pot-bellied old men just think they can sit under AC in the office and money will keep on flowing in for them. Technology is the future and the present, if you failed to get this stuck into your brain, you will lag behind and there is nothing you can do about it. We are already seeing the effect of technology on the global oil prices. If anyone thinks a barrel of crude oil will still go back up to $140, that person must be living in a dream land. I urge the youth to vehemently kick against any policy of government that tends to restrict their access to the internet. Because if they failed to do so, then, the only ray of hope they have to survive as an average Nigerian has just been taken away from them. My little submission! |
So people have finally gone broke mentally that they don't even recognize sarcasm when they see one |
Acidosis:I completely agree with all what you said here, this country is totally disorganized and Ondo State is one of the worst in this regard. I still have my file held down in Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, in Alagbaka Akure there. Simply because I refused to give a bribe to the man in charge of the office where my files are kept. You can't imagine the level of racketeering that is going on in Nigeria Civil Service today. Everyone that you meet there, even asking ordinary question, you have to pay. These people are wickedly corrupt that if you go there without any money, you will never get anything done in their office. Even if care is not taken, you'll pay money and still not achieve anything at the end. Nigerian Civil Servants are deeply enmeshed in corruption, even more deeply rooted than the politicians. They believe you have to pay them before they can perform their duty - I don't know what their salary is meant for. I completely understand the grievance of MTN towards Nigerian government. I can't bribe every tom and harry in the course of setting up my business, and you still expect me to pay my Tax regularly to the same system that is choking my business with corruption. |
Though both sides are guilty of cheating, it's more painful to guys when you know you're hotcakes to many other ladies. High profile unfaithfulness like this is not common among white men and women, because they know the consequence. Their women would rather go on divorce than cheating because they know what their men can do to unfaithful woman. Kill the bi*tch before she taints your fame, simple! |
Cool info, I heard the blue screen is caused by too much of heat |
ibietela2:If they continue this way, they will kill this forum faster than they can ever imagine. Nairaland should be a knowledge based forum where people come to learn how to make ends meet for themselves, not all these fake-ass celebrities and Nigerian politicians that people are already frustrated about. Maybe Seun thinks this type of news resonates best with Nigerians considering how popular Linda Ikeji's blog is. That's a very wrong assumption. Nairaland is much more sophisticated than a tiny blog like Linda Ikeji's. So posting about celebrities and politics too often will bore people away over time. I'm not saying they shouldn't move topics about Nigerian politics and celebrities to the front page, but this should be 50-50 with other useful information that can benefit the members. This forum provides rare opportunity for Nigerian youth to come together and share ideas about the many untapped opportunities in the internet, considering the present tough economic climate in Nigeria. This is how Indians are building fortunes for themselves in the digital world. They are the second most successful nation in the internet today, behind United States. They achieve that through Relationship Building as we all know the importance of backlinks for a web-based business today. Without quality relationship with other bloggers and backlinks, it's very difficult for any web page to rank high in search engines. I hope Seun will reconsider his choice of the running of this forum in time soon. |
dayoungmoney1:Thank you for providing such insight, have a nice day too |
Thumb up @op, more of this at front page. Not stories about politics and celebrities all the time |
Good info, I'm hearing this for the first time |
