Politics / Re: AEDC Slashes Power Bill By More Than 68% In Compliance With NERC's Order (Pics) by Panelbeater(m): 8:08pm On Mar 10, 2020
National Electricity Regulatory Commission “NERC” is another spineless and toothless bulldog Nigerians should never hope in their pronouncements.

How can you tell us starting from this month electricity bill, bogus estimated billings will be drastically reduced downwards to as low as 1700 naira and EKEDC is still in the business of ripping Lagosians into shreds with crazy bills?

Throughout the whole of last month, the number of days we got power supplied to area is not up to 2weeks, I spent a lot on fuel due to the hot weather and now I got of a bill of over 10k for the month of February alone .

I have applied and paid fully for a single phase prepaid meter since December last year and all I am being told is “it is not yet ready” yet they are charging me like crazy and I could recall that NERC said prepaid meter will be ready in 10days after application.

NERC raised my expectations last month only to have it smashed into pieces this afternoon, it shows they have no control over the thievery EKEDC .

Martinez39:
Michellekabod2, Ubunja and Co. Was this not what we were discussing? Give a man power, money, and make him the bread winner, his family will benefit from him. Give a woman money, power, and make her the bread winner, her husband will see hell. OP needs to take the red-pill.

Even though the man is at home, his wife has turned turned the kids against him in the cruel and petty game of power dynamics. And many girls had the dishonesty to attack me when I created THIS TOPIC and they acted like parental alienation is not really a thing to worry about and the father should "just spend some time with the kid". Here is a man who is present in his home and yet the kid has turned against him (a case similar to that of emmaodet). Never underestimate the power of brain washing and the wickedness and brutal nature of women. Women are not fair players.

Indeed, Ilekokonit was right in THIS TOPIC OF HIS. Also the arguments and contributions made by ubunja and myself are valid. A family is supposed to work as a unit but the woman purchased properties without the man's knowledge, turned the kids against him, and disrespects him yet folks like funmisticqueen (whose personality is as ugly as she looks) turned this on the man insinuating that the man must have been cruel to his wife in the past. The op opened a joint account with his wife but now, the wife has gotten a secret account.

Any man that remains oblivious to female nature will suffer and get burnt.
Boss I wish I could discuss some life issues with you

you bear the symptom of a broke, frustrated and wretched girl.

With this mind set of yours, one can easily deduce that your parents and everyone who trained you failed in the attempt.

Girls like you are the ones who taint the image of hard working women in the society. Believing is your right for your boyfriend to spend on you is the very reason why you've planned on becoming a vile individual who, in no distant time, will bear the symptoms of not just verbal, but physical abuse.

Poverty has really turned you into something the dictionary doesn't have the word to describe.

You're a shame to yourself and your house hold.

This is savagery , punchlines so venomous

Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Panelbeater(m): 8:04am On Jul 05, 2018
Good morning house, I have been following this thread for weeks and I would be glad if someone could answer my questions.
I applied for MSc in Biochemistry at the Ruhr University at Bochum.
I was replied with a form via email and after filling out the form, I was replied in my mail with an acknowledgement form that asked me to proceed for an A1 course in Germany for 500euros

I was also asked to submit my transcript for confirmation on the 15th to the University address.

Also instead of MSC Biochemistry, BSc Biochemistry was written on the slip..

My questions
1. Does it mean I am traveling down to Germany for the A1 course only or I ll begin my chosen course immediately after passing the A1 course.

2.How do I get my transcript down to the school before on the 15th because no mail address was given, just the their P. O. Box address.

3 .I could understand why BSc Biochemistry was written on my slip rather than MSC Biochemistry

Pls help... I would appreciate if I could a mentor to speak with on phone here, I ll send you a mail of you're around help..

Politics / The Babel Of Religious Voices As An Impending Time Bomb by Panelbeater(m): 8:24pm On Jun 06, 2018
THE BABEL OF RELIGIOUS VOICES AN IMPENDING TIME BOMB...

The audacity and the audibility of the apex religious bodies in Nigeria today is a time bomb every discerning mind should worry about. Factually, I am referring to the worrisome incursion of CAN and most recently MURIC into every facet of Nigerians lives, which transverses politics, entertainment, sports, education, security and every other aspects you can envisage.

Of a truth,I have devoted a large chunk of time reading and studying history even more than the principles of biochemistry textbook which should be my Bible and I have come to realize that before a country implodes, religious and ethnic voices reaches an all time level of audibility, then history repeats itself as a tragedy and fortunately this fact itself has been established by Karl Marx.

The reasons for this aberration is not far fetched, the crass ineptitude of successive governments and the government in power is a leading factor, the reality is when injustice is been meted out to the populace, every avenue of dissidence will be explored, religion inclusive.

Honestly, the greatest culprits of this trending menace are our civil rights movements, they are hypocritical, selfish, phony, self seeking and self obsessed, try actively getting involved with them at your peril because sooner or later the brain behind the movement will collapse such structures into a political party.
Do you think we need a MURIC, Miyetti Allah, CAN or PFN to speak out against societal anomalies if we still had the like of Late Gani Fawehimi, Late Bamidele Aturu, a neutral Festus Keyamo, a neutral Babafemi Ojudu, a neutral Prof Tam West e. t. c firing cruise missiles against any perceived societal ills but it's a pity political affiliations has silenced so many and the media won't give the upcoming ones the needed platform. Forget all these twitter boys, they are hustling for their daily bread..
Don't get me wrong, I am not condemning any activist delving into the murky waters of politics but all I am clamouring for is that partisan politics shouldn't be allowed to nail the coffin of activism as been observed in Nigeria these days. Let us encourage non partisan activism because it might be our saving grace in the the future should a despot grab power by chance.

In conclusion, I strongly opine that religious bodies pre-occupy themselves with the spiritual welfare of it's faithfuls whilst the culture of non partisan activism be reinvigorated in our dear nation..
