Deep Sight: One needs a way to literally dissapear once alerted of entry.Exactly. After my ordeals, I have always wondered why Nigerians dont build concealed panic rooms in their houses. The ironic thing is that it wouldnt have helped in any of the 3 situtaions I was in cos we were caught off guard so it wasnt a case of breaking down doors and gates, they simply walked in |
plaetton: Idiotic and insensitive.moronic and low IQ |
Deep Sight: I really dont know what to say to the bold. I posted this story simply to makemy country men aware of our security issues. If you are interested, you can visit or send to the Maroko Police Station to confirm the incident.Boss, please no vex. I am just hoping you will say something like April fool. I actually left Nigeria because of insecurity. Got robbed 3 times in 6 months in the same damn house. I always dread when I have a trip planned and this your story is just making me reconsider my December trip. |
This story is false. A major operation like this would have made the tabloids at least and savvy lekki dwellers would have reported it on social media. I hope dDeep sight and Sept12 are the same people otherwise I am cancelling my trip to Naija this December! |

I thank God for my wife o! When she earned more than me, we contributed equally, when I earned more than her, we contributed equally, Now she earns a little bit more than me, we still contribute equally. When I say equally, i dont mean 50:50 exactly but we do things sensibly and together. She takes the kids to school, I pick them up She takes them to the cinema, I take them to the park She buys Naija food, I do the Tesco shopping (and vice versa) She pays the phone, water and childcare bills (she gets the profit from the flat we let out), I pay council tax, electricity and gas she does the washing, I do the cleaning She does the cooking and the rest of the family do the eating ![]() Thank you my wife. I love you!! |
katunj: I guess reading is one major problem of we nigerian, I still dont understand why u people find it hard to understand simple things, u guys shld try and get a copy of the lagos traffic law and read, it was stipulated in the document that okada must not ply some major highways in the state, get the document (itz all over the web) and u will see the list of the roads okada riders are not allowed to ply, not that it was totally ban from operating in the state. you guys shld try and knw watz in the law b4 posting rubbish jor!!I dont know what road the first picture was taken on but it sure looks major enough for okadas not to be allowed on it. Why didnt Fash enforce this ban before the election if this Lagos Traffic law has been in existence for donkeys like you claim. |
See as dem turn Phantom to pure water! Naija no dey carry last. The car that stood out for me was the Aventador that was on a truck. Is that really in Naija? If so, the owner get am por taste! |
I cringe as I read the comments on here. What if this story was true- would the comments be the same? Wow..
Sad thing is the story is true. A quick google of the name Pamela Mojekwu will give you some more info. |
What I dont understand is why 100% of Nigerians support Obama. Is it just because he is black or because they have read his manifesto and know what he is about? This dude promised change 4 years ago but yet the US helped destroy Libya (over 50,000 Africans killed), support and arm terrorists in places like Yemen and Syria, Drones continue to kill innocent women and children in Pakistan, Guantanamo Bay still holds prisoners, continue to threaten war against Iran, more black men in US prisons e.t.c Where is the hope? Where is the change. I didnt jump on the bandwagon 4 years ago and I am not about to. I actually think it is extremely racist that people in far flung places with no vested interests in the outcome of the elections in the US, support one man for one reason only; the colour of his skin. If you want to know if Obama being the US president has improved the lot of the black man in America, ask late Oscar Grant's daughter. |
I cant beleive how dumb Nigerians are becoming. Even the ones I thought were smart cant understand this simple story. Some even think its too long. smfh For the slowpoke confusing names. Mojekwu is the unlucky lady abd Molokwu is her friend who wrote the story. I am deeoly disappinted in the people, most especially the ladies who show no empathy to a woman who has lost her husband, her only daughter (who fought Sickle cell anemia all her life) and eventually ends up in jail. My hope in humanity continues to gradually erode each passing day. Pamela Mojekwu wherever you are, please stay strong. Thats all I can say because uf I claim to understand even a quarter if what you are going throug, I'd be lying. |
Ijebulogic: Ever so often, we humans get tested by incidents around us. Despite the anger and disgust most feel for the gruesome murder of the Uniport 4, it raises other moral questions.Na real Ijebu logic you dey use cause your comparison of the #ALUU 4 murders and the hypothetical scenarion you described above is comparing apples and oranges. |

Who gave the bastard chief the right to sanction the killing of these kids. He is the most guilty here. Even more guilty that the actual killers because it can be said he used his position of authority to influence the morons who carried out the killing. I have never regarded chiefs, obas and the likes because it is an institution which adds no value to anybodys life IMHO. The chief should have used his authority and asked the mob who brouht the kids to his den to leave them with him and he could have called the police. These boys had been disgraced and brutalised enough already. Instead he sanctioned their killings and the kids were led to be executed at Burow pip. How dafuq does the mofo sleep at night. If i was him, I would ask for rat poison and kill myself with it. |
If they are found gulity they must be executed. All you morons talking about them being suspects are trying to feel like oyinbo people. Even the oyinbo people you want to copy send drones to kill suspected militants in Pakistan and Yemen. |
Logicboy03: Anything can be offensive. Offensive does not equal illegal or wrong. No one has the right not to be offended. This I agree with you 100% but if the UK authorities tell us it is okay for bad things to be said about the prophet why have they jailed people who said bad things about April Jones and the Cunstables in Manchester. The UK authorities protest the imprisonment of Pussyriot in Russia but they they go on an jail their own citizens for doing exactly what Pussyrioy did. These muslims have a right to protest and they have exercised that right. I personally see no sense in insulting prophet Mohammed. These people know it will cause deaths and destruction but they go ahead and publish these works just to cause more division and hatred in a world that is already filled with hatred. |
Logicboy03: You are a foolish christian. If loving my fellow human makes me a foolish Christian so be it. I can tell you an illiterate because you throw words like slander, libel and satire about without understanding what they mean so i wont argue with you. it is obvious your hatred of muslims clouds your judgement. |
The funny thing is that these Babylonians say it is freedom of speech to insult prophet Mohammed (I am a christian but respect all religions)but recently sent a young man, Matthew Woods, to prison for 3 months for making jokes about a little girl that was abducted and murdered and sent another man, Barry Thew, whose son died in police custody to 8 months in prison for wearing a t shirt celebrating the murder of 2 police cuntstables in manchester. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-19869710 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-19911943 |
samguru: the funniest of all d pix is the holiness evangelistic church in a very dirty area,am sure God does not dwell in dirty area like this.I thought I was the only one that saw that |
Seun: And then when he grows up you'll wonder why he's short and not as smart as his peers. This comment makes no sense. |
We "import" Golden Morn and my boy has been eating it since he was like 6 months. He is now 5 and has never had a problem. Golden Morn is like his night prayer. Regardless of what he has eaten for dinner, once he feels like sleeping, he comes to ask for his nightcap (a bowl of Golden Morn) |
edoyad: Don't descend to anyone's level by exchanging insults. Are you new to biking or do you have some experience? If you are new like me, my advice is for you to get a Ninja 250R if you like the Sp[ortbike look. once you have some expereience on that, then there are so may bikes to choose from. From 600cc to litre bikes. I am actually riding a 125 now as thats all they will allow me ride for now but once I get my license done this month, I mayl upgrade to a 250Ninja or the new 300Ninja for some more oomph or I might just rought it out on my 125 until I feel I am ready (finance and experience wise) for a 600cc. I am into sport bikes so to answer your question. I would say choose any from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, the Yamaha YZF-R6 or Suzuki GSXR 600. They are all Japanese bikes and very reliable. I think your choice will eventually come down to which one you like the look of as opposed to anything technical as there is nothing between these bikes. |
https://i49.tinypic.com/2wd7fhl.jpg Non bikers dont and can never understand. People get killed on okadas everyday in Lagos but no one worries about that but when a young man dies doing something he enjoyed, morons come out and chat dust. when i graduate from this my tukeke, a ZX6R or YZF R6 beckons. if papa God come wan do am pass, na Panigale 1199 o! Ride or die f00l$! |
@ Cyberknight I find it hard to believe you live in Nigeria. Your thinking is completely un-Nigerian. You must have lived in the west for a considerable peridod of time for you to be a able to reason with sense like I can see in your post. No two ways about that! |

Bad belle pipu. The guy just bought a clean regular Japanese car and see all the negative vibes. If the guy come by Lamborghini Aventador nko? Una go send evil spirit after am abi?. This guy is in showbiz man! Do you really expect him to get around on a BRT bus or okada? As a promoter or event manager, would you take May D serious if he turned up @ your office on an okada or an old rickety Lagos taxi. Going by his choice of car, I think the boy has been very modest and smart. He could have used the same money to buy a Lagos used RR Sport that would have made him paddy with those Coscharis boys ![]() |
Story story. No be Naija ni. When I was a child, we used to roll 5 children deep in the back of my dads Datsun 200L. When the older siblings grew a likkle bigger, the last born had to make do on my mums laps no seat belt or nothing. |
Billyonaire: Is it only in Nigeria that accidents happens. You get the same type of incidents in places like the UK and USA so I dont understand why you are all making so much noise as if it is a big deal.Abi o |

erico2k2: These guys can decode any car, they are targetting xpenssive BMWs at the momentThat is not true. This flaw affects only BMWs most especially the E series between '05 and '11. On forums I visit, there has been two claims of an F series car been stolen and it was by tge same person who claimed his 7 series was stolen and the replacement 7 series was stolen 2 weeks later. The cars have been going missing since last year but BMW and other car forums started pickibg up on this in Feburary. I have followed a thread on Pistonheads since April and on that thread alone, up to 20 cars have been stolen. Sheyi Adebayor also had his week old X6 stolen in the summer . The BBC did a report on this problem on Watchdog last week. BMW have denied that their cars have flaws that make their cars easy to steal and claim that other marques are being stolen as well but how the hell do you explain 300 BMW cars being reported stolen by the Midland Constabulary between January and June 2012 compared to the just 34 BMW cars reported stolen by the same constabulary between the same period last year? The main flaws are the dead spot in the alarm sensor which means you can carefully break the glass and slide your hand down tge drivers footwell and access the OBD port. The second flaw is the open state of the OBDII. Although EU regulations mean car manufacturers have to make the OBD ports in their cars accessible to independentvworkshops, nowhere do the EU say manufacturers should allow blank keys to be programable by connecting an £80 piece of hardware to the OBD port. Mercedes allow access to their ports too that is why anyone can buy a STAR machine, plug in and do diagnostics but it is secure. You cant programm a blank key to work through the OBD port on a Mercedes. BMW have buried their head in the sand claiming their cars are Thatcham approved but it seems the recent Watchdog episode has made them remove their finger. They are now claiming a software update will be available in about 8 weeks. I am sure this is no consolation for BMW owners whose cars are liable to be stolen between before then. |
Why stop at kneeling down? Why not lie down to show your humility? If you kneel down to pray in church, do you do the same when you pray before you eat, or do you kneel down to pray when the plane is about to take off? If you dont, that means your kneeling in church is to please man and not God. |
