Whenever a contract is awarded to that region,they will begin to ask the contractor for settlement. Elders money,youths money,mothers money, community money,etc. Those are the types of settlement that make the contractor to do a very poor job which get destroyed after one year.

Yes. These foreigners lived ordinary lives. Back then public schools were good some better than the best primary schools. Only the rich sent their kids to HillCrest, an American school.

In the 90s PortHarcourt was almost thesame, foreigners everywhere making a living until militancy chased them away, then, the few that stayed needed to move with escorts.

There was a time foreigners flocked into some parts of Nigeria, they inter marrying and some embraced our culture & called here home too. If not for all the numerous unrest North & South, by now we should be seeing whites claiming Nigeria nationality just as we have white Zimbabweans.

You don't know anything about Jos or Plateau state. That state has a large population of whites because of its temperate climate. All the crises that have happened in the past is just so unfortunate!

So true. Jos was the only town you could see whites doing menial jobs like they are in their country... Until religious crisis and unrest chased many away. In the 80s & 90s i knew foreigners whose fathers and them where born there, they only travel abroad for holidays to connect with their roots once a while. I knew an Isreali carpenter, a white Mairuwa, a white driver and countless missionaries who lived average & below average lives.

All 3 cars are very good problem free easy to maintain cars. I will pick the Camry over the Accord just because its a newer generation. The Lexus is a solid ride but its more than 10yrs old... I'll pass.
