Ramcie: I do it for fun. Every month I take the test. My Dr said am abusing the test but I just like having my blood taken. Apart from that, I also check my sugar level and genotype .
Becareful with your doing it for fun attitude. You might end up getting infected inadventently with used niddle. If not, you might still get infected with a plastered blood if there's any open flesh in your body.

Doctors might even mistakenly swap the test result and give you the positive one. You die after seeing the result, wouldn't you?

Seriously, I said enough! Enough emigration, enough news about deportation, enough NIGERIA blaming and enough being seen as nobody.

It's time to turn the page on Education - to move past the slow decay of indifference that says some things can't be fixed in Nigeria and Nigeria can't be good.

It's time to turn the page on Energy - to break the political stalemate that's kept us dependent on just petroleum, and that's kept our efficient standards in the same place for 50 years. This is the time to tell those in power, in authority, in high places, even our family members who have been enriching themselves that their future is at stake, this is because the future of our country is at stake too.#

Wizendy: The whites are insecure and the black are also insecure. That is why both are fighting for dominance.
Not totally agree! Blacks have never dominated anything in terms of achievement or wealth or position. Whites have been known to dominate key areas of achievement and power. Why are blacks insecure, what are they protecting? Are they insecure because white people want to take away their kool-aid drink? Or perhaps their chicken? Maybe insecure because white chicks are taking their strong, rich black folks? I doubt it.

Are they concern because whites are getting into NBA, football or other black dominance sports? not true. Black people welcome challenges as long as it is fair and legit. Whereas the opposite is the case with their counterpart.

Although blacks dominate physical combat sports, they still get their checks (cheques) form the white man. Now, tell me who's more dominant?

Morayo747: I beg to differ. Most employers actually prefer to hire minorities in my opinion...there will always been racism but Britain is a very tolerant country. In fact you are more likely to get in trouble being white for a racist comment. And that is somewhat unfair.. Most racist people here in UK are closet racists I.E they don't make their opinion known in public.
In Britain, you don't use racist words toward people literally, but you can institutionalize it. Racism is Britain is not as open as it is here in the state. It is very subtle and institutionalized. Very dangerous than open racism. I still don't know where you guys get your "tolerant" word from. Nigeria is more tolerant than any nation.

We are so overly tolerant even the Indians now sees us as too soft for their liking. Shell, BP, AGIP are still milking all our resources right in front of us. Indian, chinese and American companies are all over Nigeria taking advantage of the cheap labour and enslaving our young folks.

Most employers would prefer minorities when it comes to minimum wage jobs, which is ok by the standard of some. However, I believe Nigerians are very educated and should know better. Better to be in Nigeria and salvage it together.

And yes I agree with the closet racist, but often more detrimental in work places and achievement wise.

All in all, we should all tolerate one another, build our country Nigeria and have people talk about us being bias.

carefreewannabe: I am a big fan of Obama but it's not very intelligent to say that people have NO right to disagree with his policies.
If a white person doesn't for example agree with his health care reforms, that doesn't me that he / she is racist.
I am a black person and I don't agree with some of his policies. But imagine him being called a monkey and all sort of derogatory word because he won an election! That's what the election was all about. I am not against anyone (Black, white and other) who opposes his policies, but directly implying this to those who would use politics to stair up hatred and prejudice with racist comments towards Obama.

Once again, as I reiterated, no state in America would have demanded to secede from USA if a white man had won the election. The media even painted a vague picture of the election citing "too close to call". That was a big lie. This all boils down to race my friend. It was all about that.

carefreewannabe: No need to throw insults. If you are running out of arguments OR can't answer my question, confess it instead of calling me names.

Apart from that, I know of an incident that happend in one European country.
A man and his father went to a market and wanted to pass a white woman's stall from behind, which is not allowed. the man and his father were people of color. An argument evolved. A white woman from a neighboring stall wanted to smooth the argument and told the other white woman to let them pass. She ended up with a swollen face as the 19 year old boy hit her. The white judge in court didn't punish the boy because he didn't want the young boy to have a criminal record which would diminsh his chances on the labor market and possibly mess up his future. The judge ONLY reprimanded him. The white woman who suffered injuries was shocked. Now who are THEY?
Not an insult my dear, just saying you should come up with good argument. Now regarding courts and offences, sentencing and reprimands, I'll let you know a thing or two.

Theoretically, Judges are meant to be unbiased, professional and truthfully uphold the law by deciding cases by facts and evidence. But this ain't so. The fact that this Judge in particular refuses to criminalize the boy doesn't take away the statistics that black people are 10 times more likely to be sent to jail for menial offences than their white counterpart.

It was good that the Judge spared the boy, but taking him out of the equation, we still got hundreds of them doing the opposite to young black delinquent boys. Black people are also seven (7) times more likely to be stopped and searched than white folks, 50 times more likely to be shot dead and 75 times more likely to be criminalize for minor offences. For grievous offences, they are 80 times more like to get life in prison, and for causing death whether in the first or second degree, they are 6 times more likely to face death penalty.

This is the norm and will continue to be whether Obama is president or not.

I am appalled by the share ignorance of some black folks who still find it difficult believing that the US election later became a race election. The fact that Obama won takes nothing away from the truth that he was victimized and unfairly targeted.

If Obama was white, the election would have been over before it started. Romney was incompetent and lied about almost everything. The 47% he accused, the London visit he messed up, the Obama tape he edited and his stance against equal pay, women, gay and abortion would have disqualified him. But people weren't even bothered, they just wanted him the in the house which they think is made for a white president.

Students in Texas are not smiling. They just want another Bush. But those who supported the truth went for Obama. The share hatred, disdain, venom and prejudice against blacks resurfaced in this election. The election wasn't just about Obama, it was about people of color. The victory was felt by the rest of the minorities; Obama would be better placed to favor them.

Claus: It's not all down to race.

I'm not sure about Hispanics, but black voting for the Democrats has hovered around the 90% mark for decades!
Yes, it's not all down to race for the majority of black people who voted for Obama, majority of them are democrats anyway. But I most draw your attention to the fact that in-as-much as Bush messed up the economy, no single white man or state stood up and demanded to secede from the United states.
But because Obama won again (who to be fair, he has done much more than the 8 years of Bush's administration), all of a sudden, they all want a separate federation.

Ask Obama himself! The handicap he has to overcome; the hatred, cynicism, hypocrisy of the democracy being practiced against him in the Capitol building. He would tell you it's not been easy. The color of his skin has played a major role in his inability to have several bills passed.

Not all white folks are bias, but most are. You don't have to accept my assertion, but when it comes to people of color leading a major organization, you'll see the traces of prejudice written all over it.

No one is disputing that with you. They wanted Obama to win because they aren't Americans. Obama foreign policy tends to favor them than that of Romney.

Wizendy
We must be honest and admit that, of recent, the whites have been more welcoming of content and more tolerant of colour than we have been. Britain has been so tolerant of different cultures that its own culture has been down played.
The above statement is a farce and only seems true. UK hasn't been more racist than what is being witnessed currently. Have you managed to ask folks who work in institutions like banks and any other govt agencies about what has been their experience in relation to the color of the skin? Or are you easily swayed or bought over by the mere saying that "Britain is the most tolerant nation ever"?

The question that comes to mind would be, who are they tolerating? Goats or monkeys? Who is more tolerant, Nigeria or Britain? A Benin gold statue (worth £millions) belonging to the people of Edo state was recently found in the British Museum, and all attempt to recover it back by the Oba of Benin has been blocked by the British govt. The statue was stolen by the white folks, likewise many other treasures amounting to £billions.

The recent London riot tagged black people as bad, whereas, the main reason why the riot started in the first place was totally ignored. The British police killed an innocent black man (even though he had a record with them, he was unarmed and innocent when killed). The Stephen Lawrence case was another high profile one involving race. Lawrence was killed and police covered the killers up. They would rather see a black man killed than a white man go to jail. Have you heard about the Zermmerman case in US? Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin, case not yet decided. Read more on the case from google.

Are you still here? David Cameron new immigration legislation on bounty is institutionally racist. His cuts on school childrens £30 EMA was also seen as that, because this tends to affect minorities the most. David is cutting everything benefits for the less able; the idea that white folks have other means to survive.

And regarding job: the equal opportunity act is a myth and actually does the opposite. There is no equal opportunity anywhere. If you tick where it says your background, race or ethnicity, or even age, then brace yourself for the harsh reality of life. White people are considered first, followed by EU candidate, then Indians, Pakistans, others before people of African heritage. My advise, do not fill that section, it is optional.

The fact that these people laugh with you, smile when they see you or even welcome you doesn't mean they like you; they hate your gut!
Foreign AffairsRe: Are Blacks More Fixated On Colour Than Whites? by paris10: 10:36am On Nov 17, 2012
jammyng: Psychological, blacks feel insecure.
And biologically, sociologically and even physically, whites feel insecure. The insecurity that have led 17 states in the US to want to secede from the great US of A because Obama won. Race is a very big issue in this dispensation. Majority of white folks were expecting Romney to win fair and square, judging by the population of whites, but no, he didn't. 95% of blacks, 73% of Latinos, 65% of other races, and finally just 35% of whites voted for Obama. On a normal day, the 65% of those whites who opted to vote for Romney would have been enough to win the election.

I believe black people are not insecure, but awake, awake to the fact that white folks controls everything; from politics to anything life-changing. And black people are cornered and trapped with less choices: you either follow the white man rule or remain poor. To the AA, you either act white or start singing or selling drugs. To the Africans, you either follow our set of rules or we'll stop all the aids coming to Africa.

Blacks are more accommodating than any other race combined. The white folks now sees us as threat, threat to their inheritance, threat to their once dominance historically chairmanship and more importantly, threat of overtaking them as people.

Infact, the reverse is the case. Castrated people are the most depressed in the world. This however tends to lead them to untimely and early grave. Christianity EtcRe: What's Your Take On Judging Others? by paris10: 1:11pm On Nov 04, 2012
Did the Bible actually say we SHOULDN'T judge? Hmm, read your Bible again... Most Christians are quick to quote Mathew 7:1 without considering what verse 2-6 of that same chapter says. Now let's have a look..

Jesus spoke about specks. Illustrating how you judge people. The verses clearly see Jesus employing us to be fair when we judge people. Jesus then clarify this in
John 7:24 " Do not judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgement"

Other apostles echoed this same teaching, Titus 2:1 " As for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine". John 4:1 says we should test every spirit whether they are of God. Testing means a fail/pass judgement.

So my people, Jesus is not against judging other, but against judging them unfairly. He says you should judge people righteously (fairly).

Let's stop this ignorant assertion that the Bible did not say we should judge, because it clearly says we can if we are fair about it.

They deserve to die only if they had killed while robbing. There is no excuse in robbing your fellow human being. Imagine a scenario where someone kept shouting thief thief on you out of frustration. Or you got in a fight with someone and ran off the scene and all of a sudden you're called a thief whilst running away. Certainly, you'll be caught by these miscrants and burned alive innocently. Just imagine that scenario and think again about your stance.

unipol: they deserve to die if they are truely armed rubbers. but where is the video clip. the creidibility of this story will only depend on the video clip and don't tell me in this modern time of camera phones no video was recorded.
So they deserved to die according to you? What a moronic statement. What would a murderer deserve THEN? And you say you need prayers in Nigeria. No you don't need prayers, you need brimstone, hail and hurricane sandy to wipe out this corrupt, blasphemious, hypocritical god-forsaken nation you call Nigeria. Nigeria is a failed state and only nation where you see a Phd holder applying to become a truck driver.

A nation with over 50 years of independence where one can't even boast of a regular water and electricity supply. A nation dominated by manipulative authorities whose greed has debacled and left it in a shamble. Those authorities would be the ones to be burnt alive. Is robbing then justified, no..., but those robbers should be behind bars and not burned. This is Nigeria and not Saudi, Pakistan or even Kano state.

The bastards that killed these robbers aren't tired of the justice system in Nigeria, no, they're simply ignorant, failures, retarded being and frustrated bastards. We have due process in Nigeria, and everyone is entitle to a fair trial without going through jungle justice.

I rest my case

RomanceTry This And You Will Have Him Your Way! by paris10(op):
Too often, we're left with a broken heart resulting from a failed relationship. Some are strong to move on with their lives while some aren't that lucky to continue with life. While some have turned attention to their same-sex friends for companionship, some have taken to the streets. Some have taken the extreme measure of never going into any relationship again, others have devoted their love to a cause. The question now is, who is to blame? You do not blame yourself for what you do not know!

Follow these simply steps and heal your heart:

* You take control of your relationship. You dictate the pace. You decide what you want from it!

* Don't look for a better (man), you'll always be bitter. Look deep for a better you!

* Do not give in to his sexual advances until after 90 days of knowing him

* Men lust and cannot offer love after the first 20 days. Make him want you the more by delaying the action

* Regardless of his beauty, don't be fooled by it. Pretend as if ge's not up to your standard and he would prove himself.

* Ask him questions like, Who is he, what he does, and how much he earns. These three things are very important to any mature man, and you have every right to know what he's doing or planning to do with his life .

*Men love to talk about themselves a lot. They do this so as to impress you. Be inquisitive, enthusiastic and let that detective-style of questioning be seen in you.

* Ask him about what he thinks about you! , he thinks something about you before walking up to you in the first place. You should have known each other If he tells you that you're a great person, ask him what is it that makes you great! Ask follow up question and you'll surely know he's type.

* re-package yourself and be marketable (not literally), but be presentable, humble, dress smartly, and be approachable.
Do not drive a brother/sister away with your overly religious topic. Keep religion out of it when going on your first date, or when you get approached by someone.

* Ask him what he feels about you! Not what he thinks about you, but how he feels. He should by now be able to feel something for you. Don't settle for "I told you before about how I feel about you" nonsense. Cut him right off and demanded he told you afresh. He might scratch his head or do something distractable, make sure he answers you before leaving. If he says " I think you're cool", he's not there yet, and you shouldn't be there with him too.

Enjoy!

Did you notice that offering comes before sermon in your Church? Have you asked yourself why? Guess not; this define the kind of Church we go today. Money is preffered before the word of God. It is a strategy put in place to make sure people drop either their tithes or other offerings before having any excuse to leave the Church for other reasons.

Church now only cares about your money: they no longer give the F-word if you stay for the sermon or not.

ATMC: As d spirit leads!
As the spirit leads is the manipulation of the whole idea of orderliness. The BIble says " let everything be done decently and in order" 1 Corin 14:40. This is a general rule for the decent and orderly management of all things relating to the worship of God.

We bring the spirit under control (subject the spirit) and not the other way round. If you see a Pastor or Church who doesn't always keep to time or order of service, then, they're doing this for self-glorification.
