Don't waste your time with these nonentities. It's a continuation of propaganda for GEJ. This time the objective is to prevent him from going to jail over his atrocities.

Imagine Reno Omakri conjuring a special award in a discredited southern Baptist Christian assembly where he was employed as a preacher to give Jonathan award almost 1yr after he was sacked from asorock.

Now the plan is to suppress genuine mass horror over Jonathan's atrocities in the first 2pages of every headline considered averse to their interest.

The stolen billions very much at work. Jonathan should be stripped and all our money recovered before being sent to jail for life. No there has not been a precedent in this banana republic but his crimes are just too grave. The sky will not fall if he is sent to jail.
MR. ENTITY. And in your opinion you just made sense. Keep feeding on lies.

Nigerian bank announces early closing due to fuel crisis

One of Nigeria’s biggest banks on

branches early due to a lack of fuel,
in the latest sign of shortages
hitting businesses.
“The current shortage of petroleum
products in the country has limited
our ability to supply diesel to all

normal branch operations,” GT
Bank said in a statement on
Twitter.
“Due to this we unavoidably have to
close our branches nationwide at

Don't you know about the fall in oil price? Meanwhile let me give you an analogy:

Let us say you stay with your big brother who has been given all the funds for your university education. He has a job but things start to get tough financially. Rather than work harder or look for money elsewhere, he starts to take from the education trust. You don't know where money is coming from but all you can see is that he gives you money for clothes and gadgets and all.

Sometime later you moved to another big brother. All the remaining education funds have been transferred to the new brother. He sees that as things stand the money left won't be enough for your university education. He doesn't give you all the stuff the other brother used to give you. Rather he insists that you manage. You begin to wish you were with the former brother.

So among the two, who really has your interest at heart?

That is my answer to your question.
If you really believe this your analogy, then your case is lost already. In spite of all the daylight lies emanating from the government you are still reasoning like this?. Do you even know that all the FEC had to present from their last meeting was a flimsy agenda on climate change; and that's while the whole nation burns in economic inferno? What a pity. It so painful that folks like you don't realize that you are seriously bewitched. When are you going to see that all the claims about stolen trillions and billions are plain scam designed to thrill unthinking masses that are already delluded?

Please dear, I'm seriously touched by your situation. Please don't listen to what some of the folks here are saying. Here's what I think you should do immediately.

0.

Go to another hospital and GET DOUBLE SURE about the timing of the pregnancy. If the report remains the same, then proceed as follows.

1.
CRY out to God for mercy, AND the purging of your conscience and grace to move on to the next phase of your life as happy woman, no matter what happens. Please start now and continue until you feel the burden lifted and a new dimension of peace envelopes your entire soul. Trust me it will happen. Your case is not as hopeless as that of Jonah or Mary Magdalene. Trust me God is so compassionate. And your case is not shocking to Him. In fact He has seen and forgiven WORST cases.

2.
DO NOT TELL YOUR HUSBAND ABOUT THIS.

3.
GO TO YOUR MUM AND OPEN UP TO HER, yes, tell your mother every darn thing that took place ( do it right now).

4.
Compel your mother to talk to your MOTHER INLAW as soon as possible.

5.
Stay with your mother untill the senior women are able to break the news to the man.

6. Stay with your mum until you are able to give birth. This will help give your hubby some space to think.

7.
If the senior women are able to prevail on the man and he decides to accept you and your child, good for you, if not, just move on and know that at least you did not live a lie for the rest of your life.

Just my opinion though, GOOD LUCK.

QUICK NOTE:
____________

YOUR EX SHOULD NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS UNTIL YOU GET TO KNOW WHERE YOU STAND WITH YOUR HUBBY. If he chooses to remain with you, and you are willing to stay, then give him the previledge of deciding what happens to the child and your ex. And I must warn that if your hubby ever forgives this, and CHOOSES to remain with you in spite of it, then you must be ready and glad to remain grateful to him for the rest of your life.

your points are understood but few things to note:

1. If they were expected to be the social commenters at the event, that should have been expressly stated and understood by all parties involved. Besides, I dont think that's how these things work.

2. Why would their job chances be threatened simply because they voiced concerns? Be careful of such statements. If they dont work in their field, then they should be able to work in another field.

3. I dont know about the powerful contacts factor. A celebrity/VIP's time is not random like that although perhaps it might be occasionally but I seriously doubt it.

4. Ben Bruce can throw another party for the general public to celebrate with him.

5. Nigerians do not take class mixing lightly.

6. In any case, the organizers are the ones to be contacted over this.

my opinion.
Glad it's your opinion but I beg to differ.

1. They do not NEED to be told to do the needful. If they are TRULY information based STUDENTS then where was there instinctive initiative and drive? Telling them CLEARLY to report the event would have made their report SOCIALLY UNAUTHENTIC.

2. The OP put his job chances at stake when he naively took to the social media to ATTACK and call for MASS HATE against a man that gave him an opportunity which he never EARNED. (4 out of 5 employers are likely to checkout your social online behavior prior to giving you a job). And I assume someone like you won't want someone like op in your company - unless he changes his attitude.

3. And who says that a smart communication student cannot sieze that rare opportunity to make a lasting impression on, say, one of the VIPs?

4. Of course, I'm talking about Ben finding time to party with this particular group of students if they had been smart enough to help him promote his book instead of LEECHING for a royal treatment with ZERO value adding initiative.

5. You sure do not expect a student body to sit around the same table with senators and other VIPs in that kind of event, do you? Besides, to me, the sitting arrangement was very normal it's just wrong thinking that's giving it negative interpretation.

You had no business sending note to BEN. HE WAS NOT IN-CHARGE at that event. You should have engaged POSITIVELY - with ZERO sense of entitlement - with the folks that were in-charge.

Again, did any of you ever bother WHY Computer Science and Mass Communication depts. got invited and others were not? Did you ever stop to ask why you were located at a place that gave you awesome view of the event? What you are doing here is like looking at your neighbor's house through a dirty window, no matter how clean his house is, it will still appear dirty to you.

I was not at the event, and I do not know anyone who attended, but from your narrative, it is clear that you guys were expected to set The Social Media on fire with live feeds from that event - you had the chance - but you all missed it. And you all missed it because, in your funny way of thinking, you wanted to be SPECIALY recognized for doing NOTHING.

If you and your friend had been smart enough to do what was expected of you, you would have gotten some powerful contacts you may never be able to get going forward, you may have secured an internship at Silverbird group or other places. Ben may have hosted you guys to a special welldone and a little pat-on-the-back get together. But you guys missed it all. And now you are also trying to kill your chance of ever getting a job in the near future. Or do you think any employer will be in a hurry to hire someone like the OP having seen how poor his atitude is and how much of an uncreative ingrate he really is?

Go and learn how to be more creative instead of just looking for cheap publicity with your #NotSoCommonSense post.
YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A BIG ISSUE - A SERIOUSLY DEEP ROOTED ISSUE. You guys were at such an event - you had the chance to enter the hall - yet had zero creative will to make anything good out of it, you know why? Because of your collective deep-rooted inferiority complex masqurading as silly sense of entitlement.

By the way, did anyone of you bother to find out who was the organizer? NO.

Did you make any effort to air your percieved anormalies to any of the said organizers while the event was on? NO.

Did any of the so called MC students seek out opportunity to talk with or interview any of the special guests? NO.

Did you even know BMB's Twitter handle or find out if there was any LIVE harshtag for the even? NO.

None of you probably thought of engaging REASONABLY and respectfully with the event , but here you are showcasing how dirty your mind is by ridiculing a Man that had honored you.

As a lay man, i have considered this:
Devaluation of naira: Genuine importers of raw materials will buy dollar at 350-400 naira, price of their finished good will increase. Purchasing power of everyone will drop. including the masses who dont deal with forex, BDC etc.

What is the proportion of Nigerians that is affected by 1 dollar = 350 naira today compared to when naira is devaluated??
With the current regime, Every demand for forex outside genuine importers of raw matertials buy at black market (including those of us who buy cloths from Aliexpress, ebay etc..), including those who enjoy luxurious Dubai travels. Does the current regime affect Mr Salako who eats Garri (ijebu), Tomatoe (Kano), Onion (Sokoto), and Beans (Adamawa) and palm oil (Ondo)huh Does it affect the cost of taking the average civil servant from his house to workhuh Does it affect the cost of buying 1 bag of Dangote cement to continue his 2 bedroom bungallowhuh
Am sure tie and dye from Abeokuta or Aba made Jeans shoudnt be affected. So who are the real victims of this current regime of FX over-demand in the market?? My lay man perspective you may say.........

Was it not this same civil servants he was dealing with when he told us ministers are noise makers? He trusted the civil servants and they embarassed him. On your valid point about senate, well I can't answer that because this is not the 1st time dubious budgets have been presented to them and sailed through...maybe the senate this time finally decided to do it's job, dont forget this is a new senate.

On your final point I actually do think people are pathetic because if you cannot see that the civil servants are at fault here then it means your biases, either ibo v hausa or Pdp v apc is clouding your judgement. it's an embarrassment to the government no doubt but the incompetence/fraud cannot be put at the doorsteps of the ministers or Buhari. Like I said Buhari is going to screw up many things before his term is up and we will have the opportunity to objectively lambast him but this is not one of them, this is solely the result of a institutionalized corruption in the civil service.
Sorry, you got it all wrong.

HERE IS MY OPINION

1. If it took the senate no time to discover the fraud, then any decent president should be able to discover it much faster. And Buhari did. He only went on to present it because it was his design.

2. Refusing to appoint ministers for six months was not an experiment, it was a well thought out strategy. And the aim was to eliminate every outside interferance in the production of the fraudlent budget. This also was the reason for the senate crisis - the need for absolute control so that this scam budget would scale through undetected. Unfortunately the whole thing has crashed.

3. The civil servants you talk about are just being used as scapegoats to divert public attention.

4. In reality however, these folks are not getting sacked due to the scam budget (in fact the label that's hung on most of them was their loyalty to PDP and their alleged corruption in 2015 elections - that's the old DGs). The ACTUAL reason for their sack is to create political rooms for APC loyalists.

5. An executive council that has the national interest at heart would be discussing ONLY economy AND security right now, but to show how clueless and heartless this one is, the priority is climate change. I would have laughed out loud, if not that this is so DIABOLICAL

6. Why do you still excuse this government?
