Joyfulgal: We just discovered my nephew has ss gene.
Please we need help on how to manage him. Food, supplements and herbs if possible.
He is seven years old Keep him away from junk food, vegetables and fish are highly recommended, vitamins and folic acid intake must be on a daily basis, keep away from high energy exerting activities, mosquito nets must be around to lessen malaria attacks and make sure you have a pediatrician who will manage him. Though the road ahead will be bumpy but good management will be very key. My elder brother is a carrier of sickle cell and the journey wasn't a joke but we pulled through as a family, today he is married with kids who are AS. |

On my Emergency mission to Accra, on My way to Ghana, I saw a Burning bush beside that burning bush I saw a boy weeping and that made me to remember the Return of shettima I went to him and ask, what was wrong He told me that he was born Without a silver spoon and that the wedding of his parents was not the Wedlock of the gods Weep not child, I say Time changes yesterday, for the gods are not to blame if the Arrow of God strike Things fall apart i am going on an African night entertainment to search for the Passport of Mallam illia and I would be back before Eze goes to school. You just reminded me I was addicted to novels as a youngster, have read all you listed. I recall when I was in primary five I used my saved lunch money to buy The Boy Slave and its sequel, Return of Shettima. Those books made me imagine as a kid what it would feel like horse-riding. First and foremost, the man has never been her husband and shouldn't be addressed as "her husband" because there was no marriage as you stated the bride price is yet to be paid....so what is she doing in his house?
She should accord herself some respect and go back to the east. |

Care givers should be more intentional about being constantly conscious about minors under their care. I know it is not easy but efforts must be put into it because looking for a missing child is not what one would want to experience. |

I never wrote that people abroad dont buy houses in Nigeria.
What i wrote about is the financial laws, with the way the US or many developed country is set up, sending 60k dollars to nigeria will alert authorities and invite them to your house for money laundering investigation.
In most countries, there is a limit of outbound transfer for an account that is run by a private individuals. Also so do note a lot of Nigerians abroad don't transfer directly to Nigeria as there are some Nigerians in their country of residence who offers services where for example you pay $3,000 to their US account they pay the agreed exchange rate into the Nigerian bank account you give them and they send this money from their Nigerian bank account.....officially no international transfer is on record. |

bigtt76: You said it all. Not everyone could afford that N800 back then. How much was the minimum wage again? People should stop using the past to hurt themselves. We can't turn back the hands of time... Those days are gone and buried! You are right. My family bought plots of land in Ojota, Lagos state back in the mid 70s when a plot was going for N650, my parents said that N650 was like paying millions of naira because they were paying N9 per month as rent for the 3 bedroom bungalow they were living in. Many people were not even earning much back then as it is also today but the difference is the population explosion, more people for less resources. |

Proudlyngwa: It will become my word against his. Oh sorry he is dead, Trust me, I would kill him and walk away free. The greatest mistake the wife will make is not to be on my side, I can easily claim I paid for the room, went to get something, came back and heard my wife screaming and their will be multiple witnesses. Oh and he slipped and fell Just hope the hotel management would "agree" to testify before the court that you "paid" for the room and no CCTV footage that shows you arriving after the man, the state prosecutor go use you shine! |

Proudlyngwa: Is there any law about, where you can be raped and not raped. The state prosecutor would come up with the argument that it was consensual and the wife willingly went to the hotel to meet up with man while the husband trailed her, that it was premeditated. |

Proudlyngwa: He will simply claim self defence of his wife being raped. He met her screaming for help, in the process of pulling her out from under him, he slipped, fell and died. Raped in a hotel room? Haba! If it was in their home, the judge could look into it but trailing them to the hotel, won't cut it. |
