This is not new in anyway you are just fulfilling the prophesy that in the end time there will be false doctrine in order to deceive people...Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Repent now so that you will make Heaven.. And I pray you will make Heaven in Jesus name (amen).
First of all, if you take a proper look at the matt 24 you quoted
Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
This means that those jesus referred to as false prophets were people who preached that they were the Christ or Jesus was not the Christ.
I never say Jesus is not the Christ, so you can never categorize me as false prophet, if you cannot summarise and understand Scriptures you will end up faulting the wrong person.
Secondly, Heaven is now, not in the future. incase you don't know.
So, i am in heaven already.
Heaven was a free gift through Christ, if you understand Jesus parables when he will say, the kingdom of heaven is like unto...
Then, he will say the parable.
Maybe you will need a technician to use Allen bolt and plias to open your skull and put this Scripture into your head.
Colossians 1:13 says Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
so, i have already been translated into heaven. That is what i know that you are yet to know that is making you still saying you want to make heaven .
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Remember?
So, you see what I'm talking about?

Who posted this poo! huh

Are you sure you're reading your bible?
And you're not the one mis-interpreting here
No
I'm not the one misinterpreting, i used to think that people who came up with this new idea of understanding were misinterpreting things, until i finally apply reasoning, and i begin to see the sense in it.
Of a truth, the Bible was logically written with great wisdom.
Now, if you have never gone to school, it will be difficult for you to understand.
Even professors are confused when it comes to Bible.
So, if there is anything or area you don't understand in the post, i will still explain.
But you really have to open your mind and think

People are not ready to accept this truth
That's true!
It's simply because they are afraid or they didn't think.
And i will tell you why they are afraid to accept change
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
i think this verse of the Bible appear to be a big padlock that luck the minds of christians, making them so rigid against becoming flexible to accepting change.
This explains why Christ was never accepted among the Pharisees.
But thank God they have accepted Christ but they need to harness the huge benefit of accepting Christ which may gradually change this world for better.
Until that padlock is broken evil will continue to prevail in this world

Christianity Etc › Announcing God's Kingdom On Earth: Pls Disregard Endtime And Rapture by paxonel(op): 6:51pm On Mar 27, 2016
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come(the end of the era before the establishment of Christianity on earth, not the end of the world. So, take note)
The question is, what is the Gospel of the kingdom was he referring to here?
The gospel of the kingdom is the gospel of Christianity on earth. Therefore, it was Christianity that Jesus and his disciples preached.
Remember, there was no Christianity on earth when Jesus made this statement of Matt 24:14
Christianity started after Jesus resurrected, so it was the era, from his resurrection till our current day, that he preached, which is Christianity on earth.
Why was there need to establish Christianity on earth?
Adam and Eve sinned death came to the world, but Jesus came and restore eternal life here on earth such that, as many that believe is saved from death.
That eternal life is Christianity he established here on earth, which is God's kingdom. And this kingdom called Christianity has no end.
That automatically means, so long Christianity remain on this earth,.this earth will never end.
This earth has become the kingdom of our father.
So, disregard every message of end time and rapture. It is not of God. They were postulated by ancient theologians who never understood Bible.
Christianity Etc › Re: I Give El Rufai 14 Days To Retrace His Steps Or Face The Wrath Of God - Dr Chris by paxonel(m):
First of all, el rufai has not done anything wrong to warrant Chris shouting from his pulpit. We all know the history of religious riots and blood shed in kaduna. Some ignorant christians will play Gospel music in their vehicle and drive to areas that are predominantly ignorant conservative Muslims.what do you think will happen? It will spark riot and killings ofcourse.
The purpose of that bill was to curb a recurrence of killings and blood shed,so it prohibit playing of religious music in vehicles, not against practicing your religion .
Also there were cases where religious leaders will incite their members against other religions, some Imams were found guilty of this and some pastors preach that all Muslims will go to hell if they don't join Christianity . This spark riots and killings of christians in kaduna, i remember cases like that in 2003 and 2005.
Check reoccurence, the bill ensures that all preachers in kaduna (whether pastors or Imams ) should obtain licence before preaching.
Now, what is bad for the government to take steps in protecting lives and property?
Secondly, this bill has been in existence since 1984 but it was not enforced till this moment because, the content is not feasible, i mean, you can't stop people from playing whatever music they want to play in their vehicle, only that one need to be careful.
From this, i think Chris okafor is just shouting for nothing, because he knows that bill has been in existence since 1984 and it can never be enforced and it will never be enforced now, so he take advantage of this fact that the bill can never be enforced and prophesy that the bill will never be enforced and will be dropped 14days later.
I think this Chris okafor of a man is an actor and a good psychologist who manipulate existing situation to appear as if he is prophesying and doing deliverance to deceive people.
And come and see thousands of nigerians who are deceived, most of them have little or no education.

All the pastors and imams we have today, all of them together, have not solved any problem
Christianity Etc › Pastors Are Now Substitute To Herbalists In Modern Day Africa by paxonel(op): 6:52pm On Mar 24, 2016
In Africa today especially Nigeria,98% of the population are religious people who seek spiritual remedy in almost everything, that's why they go to church or mosque all the time.
In ancient times when there was no Christianity and Islam in Africa, people visit herbalists and juju priests for spiritual remedy to their problem.
The question is, how long will Africa continue to seek spiritual remedy?
When will they let go of this spiritual culture and face life the way God design it?

You need to stick with the Roman Catholic Church. Who knows nothing about one being born again. If they did-well they don't practice it, they are still baptising babies.
To be born again we must do it by choice-this is what Jesus was preferring to when talking with Nicodemus, Jesus had left us His comforter, because He wanted us to learn-more about Him and His kingdom.
Now we cant do that without Him-can we?
Without the Holy Spirit-we end up following another doctrine-trying to confuse the world.
They know absolutely nothing at all about born again grin

Are you quoting that premise out of experience? If you're a Nigerian, Did your dad, uncle, granddad and all males in your line abuse their wives?

Where I come from, in my family line, it's alien.
I'm quoting the premise out of experience and fact.
Google it, which continent of the world abuses women the most, you will find out it is Africa. Nigeria is not exempted.
I'm not saying your pastor abuses her, but if she say it openly and your pastor did not say anything to deny, then it is possible that what she is saying is true.
If it is alien in your family line, how are you sure your pastor did not contract the trait from his external or internal environment from childhood as he grows up? (enviromentally not genetically )
No doubt he is a man of God, but if he was having behavioural issues it is only a close relation such as his wife and children if they are matured enough, will be able to detect it. No church member or even the next to him in the ministry can detect it.

But it is a prophecy. To infuse your own words here, I'd say it is a "record" of a prophecy.

John was still in prophecy mode. Verse 2 is a continuation of verse 1. You just extracted verse 2 and made it sound like what it isn't:

Rev 19:1 After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:
"Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

Rev 19: 2 for true and just are his judgments.
He has condemned the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of his servants."

And so on...

Don't regard the white man for their achievements. Regard God. You are just being sarcastic for nothing

The white man this, the white man that, enough already!

Try to understand the scriptures.

Your saying "don't pray for me" is arrogant cos you feel you don't need anyone's prayer. Even the apostle paul asked the saints of God to pray for him.

1 Corinthians 10: 12 Let he who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

I'll pray for you nevertheless cos you need it whether or not you think so or not.
i thought you were praying for me that i should have understanding of revelation 19.
what is clearly written is clearly written. when u read and understand u don't pray again to understand what you have already understood.
yes, It's good to pray for one another where we are larking behind, but where we have understanding we don't need prayer.
we need to apply the understanding for something better.
through our understanding we ought to make this world a better place and not to wish It's destruction by rapture or end time.
if revelation 19 not using pass tense such as AND WILL AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS SERVANTS but rather, present tense like AND
HATH AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS
SERVANTS . it means that he has already avenged, therefore we should not change it and make it appear as if he is going to do it in the future.
This also apply to the whole book of revelation.
i ask you, where in revelation that prophesy event of what will happen in the future?
you can't show me.
because it is not there .
because bible cannot contradict itself

Revelations 19 is a prophecy. It talks about our future. In fact the whole book of revelations is a prophecy.

Please answer me this: where was God before he created man? Before he created the earth? And where do his angels reside? Even satan, before his fall, where was he?

Here's an excerpt from Matthew

22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in "heaven".

18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in "heaven".

These are just some of many verses in scripture that mention heaven as God's dwelling place.

Guy, I drop my pen here. From now on I'll just pray for you.
lie
revelation 19 did not prophecy anything, rather it confirmed what has already happened.
for instance.
Revelation 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for HE HATH JUDGED (meaning, he has done it, he will not do it in the future ) the great LovePeddler, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, AND HATH AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS SERVANTS (not in the future but he has already done it ) at her hand.
when will you christians accept that the work of Jesus on the cross was the final?
why are you people still waiting for another miracle or mysteries called rapture, rather than remaining on this earth and solve problems?
Go and see how white men have developed their world, some are even traveling to the moon and planets for research as a result of development in science and technology.
yet people in Africa are talking about rapture not talking education seriously ?
Please Don't pray for me
pray for Africa

this is a parable or call it figurative language and each elements are represented as thus.
the word quickened means bringing back to life.
to sow means to burry a seed in a soil , when we die we will be burried isn't it?
the body that shall be represent the plant that germinates after you sow the seed.
Does the plant have the same appearance or body as the seed previously sowed ?
the answer is no.
that is how our body will be changed here on earth when resurrect.
when i come to a new life after i exhaust this one at old age, i will come back with a new body, such that those who were alive will never recognise i was the person that died.
i will come a new born baby, a new creature.

"ok, Revelation 19
By the let me ask,
what do you take revelation of John for?
prophecies of our future??
my guy, you are lost.
'Revelation of John is record about Jesus and what he will do when he come to die for mankind which has already occur 2000 ago'
Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ(referring to the whole book of revelation from chapter 1 to 22), which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things WHICH MUST SHORTLY COME TO PASS (meaning, it will come to pass shortly after the time John documented the record(including your revelation 19), which is approximately 2000 years ago ); and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw."

The whole book of revelations is a prophecy contrary to what you opined that 'Revelation of John is record about Jesus and what he will do when he come to die for mankind which has already occur 2000 ago'

22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Now that we've established that revelations is a book of prophecy and that "prophecy" talks about the future, then your argument has been faulted because you say that revelations talked about a record of a past event (Jesus dying in the cross). Unless you no longer agree that revelations was dated AD.

You don't "prophesy" about a past event you prophesy about the unseen future.

Secondly, quoting an excerpt from you below:

"Now, the question is
is 2000 years ago a short time?
after 2000 years plus, you people are still waiting? you must be dreaming.
You people Don't think at all to understand times.
If rapture was going to happen true true, that is how it would have pass you people.
because you Don't think.
Esp africans"

Yes we're still waiting. And according to peter, God is being patient because he would rather all men came to repentance

2 Peter 3: 8-9 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

You say there's no heaven, where is God's throne? In what place does Jesus sit at the right hand of God? And revelations 19?

Your understanding of the book of revelations has been scrutinized and is found wanting. It does not support your theory of eternity at all. Don't try to make it to.
you say the book of revelation is a prophecy that will happen in the future.
mention one verse of the book that prophesy our future.
just one?
Ok, where does Jesus sit at the right hand of God?
Jesus is right inside we christians and no where else.
And inside us is the heaven he was talking about.
not anywhere beyond the clouds.
if you do not know this truth there will be no way you will have confidence in yourself.
you will continue to be looking for miracle help above the clouds where there is no help

Oh that the lord would make you read and understand what you just typed so that you may identify your errors. For the purpose of clarity, let me point them out:

1) "But whether he got the revelation before or after the crucifixion i wouldn't know."

Well, he got the revelation after. I know this because the book of revelations was addressed to the churches which didn't come into existence until after the death of christ Jesus. Hence revelations is dated AD.

2) "The bottomline is, his revelation was a record and not a prophecy.
prophecies tells you what will happen in the future."

His revelation was a prophecy according to Revelations 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this "prophecy", and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
Yes,
you are right.
he got the revelation after the crucifixion.
I've seen it now.
thanks.
ok, that part of the revelation was a prophecy to the seven churches which were in asia then.
the prophecy has been fulfilled at that period.
i think it serves as a means of correction to The Church as a body.
But i didnt say there was no prophecy in revelation.
i was referring to the book of revelation as a whole(from chapter 1-22), that it is not a prophecy but a record, as it wasn't concern with The Church alone, But all mankind including the jews.
for instance,
Revelation 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
This shows that the Jews were never denied of the kingdom of God along with the gentiles.
Any one of them who has willing to accept that Jesus is the Christ is welcomed into the church.
so, the book as a whole ( including the revelation 19 you mentioned earlier ) is not a prophecy but a record that Jesus is the Christ.

I'm appalled at the way you faulted the integrity of the scriptures when I quoted verses you couldn't explain. Blaming it on the catholic church?

Secondly, you say revelations predicts the coming of Jesus, his coming into the world to die 2000 years ago? Really? Is this all you can say? This is so wrong and twisted.

So this means that John got the revelation before Jesus came? Which John are you talking about?

From the word of God, it was John the beloved apostle who got the revelation. History dates this AD not BC.
You know, John the beloved lived at the period when Jesus was yet to be crucified, he was one of the disciples who recorded the event of his crucifixion.
John 21:24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
But whether he got the revelation before or after the crucifixion i wouldn't know.
The bottomline is, his revelation was a record and not a prophecy.
prophecies tells you what will happen in the future.
records are account testifying something, and the testimony of his revelation is that, that Jesus the jews crucified was the expected Messiah that is to come.
You know, the jews were waiting for the Messiah to come, which is the Christ (signs of his coming recorded in matt 24,what today Christians sees in the Bible and other verses such as 2 thes 4:16-17 that describes death of men and resurrection, and start calling them second coming of Christ or rapture which were error of ancient theologians that need to be corrected this generation).
so, the jews never wanted to believe that Jesus is the Christ, even till this day.
Hence, John was given that revelation to bear a record to the jews, that Jesus is the Christ

babafemi1000 mentioned 1 thes 4:16-17
what will you say about that?
I'm trying to avoid writing plenty things that's why.
Seriously, the problem in christianity is so numerous to address.
well, i will keep taking them one after the other.
1 thes 4: 16-17 is not referring to rapture or people flying to the clouds. rather, it refers to resurrection of the dead.
you will understand this when you start reading from verse 14
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus(meaning, them who died as christians ) will God bring with him(meaning, will God resurrect them with Christ ).
4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive(people who are not yet dead ) and remain unto the coming of the Lord(and remain alive until they die,the day we die marks the coming of the Lord ) shall not prevent them which are asleep(shall not stop those who died from resurrecting ).
4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God(a figurative language which means we will all die some day, death is like a calling using sound of trumpet, that it is time for us to die and face judgement ): and the dead in Christ shall rise first(christians shall resurrect first, followed by non christians, to face judgement as explained in revelation: after judgement, christians will live on., while non christians will be condemned which is the second death, lake of fire is a figurative language which means second death ).
Note that this judgement happens everyday as people die here on earth everyday.
4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.( another figurative language which means we christians that alive will interact with those that resurrect here on earth )
To caught up together in the clouds does not mean Clouds.
clouds is used figuratively which means heaven on earth .
Do you know that this earth has become God's kingdom?
you should know that if you understand Jesus parables

Hildalicious:
so, how did you come about all thesehuh
simple,
look at the template of how Jesus interpreted his parables you will understand everything.. be it complex or simple.
in matt 13:37-38
the sower represent
the son of man, the field represent the world and
the tares represent the children of darkness in
Jesus parables .
this is how to understand figurative languages.
The mysteries of God's kingdom can never be mysteries again.
You will understand everything from matthew to revelation just like u understand your school curriculum without contradictions or fallacies

Don't keep dodging the wedding in revelations 19.

I choose to believe what the scriptures say. Call it whatever you will, 'the rapture' is clearly described in scriptures.

Jesus will return.

For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Matt 24:27

As for one's current life on earth, let them continue to live and work, sowing seeds of righteousness wherever they go, growing in the grace and knowledge of the word of God and being led by the Holy Ghost.

When a believer dies then they rest in the Lord awaiting the appointed time when he will come for his bride on earth. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in christ will rise first. After that, they who are still alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so they would be with the Lord forever. 1 Thess 4: 16-17

And then there will be a wedding in heaven according to revelations 19 that you keep refusing to comment on.
the sripture didn't say all these ones?
all these were products of fallacies of ancient Catholic church and not scriptures.
Funny enough, ancient Catholic theologians have all died long time ago, their mistake is now affecting current day Christianity negatively.
Current day christians have the responsibility to identify these mistakes and go back to the basics how it used to be when the disciples saw Christianity as one faith and one salvation here on earth.
The way you are looking at your Matthew 24:27 is one of the many fallacies of ancient theologians who never felt the 4 walls of university education.
Go and summarize the whole chapter of Matthew 24 you will understand why verse 27 is there.
all these things were even prophecies of Daniel who prophecied the coming of Jesus who has already come to die.
Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understandsmiley
So, read the whole chapter and understand.
stop following pastors.
The jews were waiting for the Messiah.
Few of them knew the Jesus was the Messiah to come.
Jesus was telling them this is time of the coming of the Messiah who was actually Jesus himself.
They didn't know.

The only thing Jesus mentioned that will occur at the future of that time of Matthew 24 was persecution of christians at
Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
From verse 15 down he was talking about things that were happening right in the presence of the disciples who were listening to him.
abomination of desolation as prophesied by Daniel happened at that time.
people who were on roof top have to flee to the mountains abandoning their clothes and belonging for Jesus sake.
Peter says we have left all and follow thee.
So, There was great tribulation that has never happened before since the history of mankind up to that point of Jesus days .
ok, Revelation 19
By the let me ask,
what do you take revelation of John for?
prophecies of our future??
my guy, you are lost.
Revelation of John is record about Jesus and what he will do when he come to die for mankind which has already occur 2000 ago
Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Now, the question is
is 2000 years ago a short time?
after 2000 years plus, you people are still waiting?
you must be dreaming.
You people Don't think at all to understand times.
If rapture was going to happen true true, that is how it would have pass you people.
because you Don't think.

And yet again you dodge the wedding in revelations 19. Peter wasn't speaking figuratively. If there is no heaven, where is God's throne? In which place does Jesus sit at the Father's right hand?
so u choose to believe in mysterious flying of humans to heaven, how about your current life on earth, it is not important abi?
ok, u want to here me talking figuratively?
Jesus is at upper chamber of God's right hand.

are u ok now?

I was referring to the whole chapter and not just a specific verse 7 which you assumed I meant and the "question" certainly isn't who the ungodly men are, it's about whether or not the resurrection has occurred. It hasn't.

Peter was speaking to "godly" men here and cautioning them so they do not fall away. In verse 11-12 one can see that he expects them to live holy and godly lives as they look forward to the day of the lord which is the day christ would return to earth as declared in acts 1:11 which I've quoted before but you ignored deliberately?

And how about the wedding in revelations 19 of christ and his church? Shey you said there's no heaven, resurrection, rapture, etc.
2 Peter 3:11 Seeing then that ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE DISSOLVED , what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
what things shall be dissolved?
the heavens (clouds) ,check verse 10.
verse 10 talk about loud noise(which is described as sound of trumpet in 2 cor 15:52, which means, calling to death, like trumpet is used to call us, it is time for us to die. In those days, trumpet was used to call people together them for battle)
it also talk about everything burning with fire.
which means, burning life out, such that we will die not perceiving the clouds again and all existence of life
Now, all these things are figurative languages (if u understand your literature in English ) and the literal meaning is death.
meaning, we will all die some day.
The day we die marks the day of coming of the Lord where he will come and judge mankind.
It is appointed once for men to die, after that judgement.
let's look at 2 Peter again.
2 Peter 3:12 Looking for and HASTING UNTO the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat(all these means, where in we will die )?
hasting unto death , simply means rushing to die..that is, dying prematurely, when you are not yet old enough to die.
what is responsible for this is sin, as the wages of sin is death.
sin kills faster.
That is why he says what manner of conversation ought you to be......
But the good news lies in verse 11, that after we die and being judged , we will resurrect into new heavens(clouds ) and new earth again. That is, this same earth that we are living now, that has clouds that we can see above.
2 peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
You may argue that there is no righteousness on this earth because there are atrocities currently around the world.
that is a big lie.
righteousness is found inside all christians here on earth, through Christ. inspite their sin.
2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
Be diligent means, be diligent upholding your faith as a Christian, Don't allow anybody deceive you into other faith (religion ).that is the only way you will be spotless or blameless.
As Jesus is the only way.
ok, you also mentioned act 1:11.
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
This is figurative language which simply means, when we die, Jesus will come and judge us.
He has been coming.
people die everyday.
