We went to this wedding and the groom had just finished his new house.It wasn't even ready for occupation but the work was complete.
We all thought that they had made honeymoon arrangements.So while we were packing their gifts in the cars to take them to their house the dude told us that hes planning to spend the night in his new house with his new bride!!
You shud have seen the shock on our faces. We quickly organised an impromptu fundraising to raise cash for a honey moon suite in a good hotel
We booked and sent them there.!! Gosh dude made us sweat.

Okay so what is it with honeymoons?
If you have the cash spend it as long as what you have in your reserve/account is more than what you spend on honeymoon
You do not need a very expensive holiday to make your dreams come true. I believe what happens during the moon is more important than the location.
However you cannot also tell me that you have been ignorant to save for such an occasion

Somalia offered an amnesty to militants still fighting in the capital Mogadishu Tuesday, three days after the country's president declared victory over the insurgent al Shabaab group, which has withdrawn most of its combatants from the city. It was the first time the interim government, which has struggled to quash a four-year Islamist rebellion, had offered immunity to al Shabaab fighters. "The Transitional Federal Government of Somalia has offered a general amnesty to insurgent fighters remaining in Mogadishu who give themselves up and renounce violence.

Thousands of Somali refugees, fleeing famine and years of violence, streamed into Mogadishu on Monday searching for food after Islamist rebels withdrew from the capital. The al Qaeda-affiliated al Shabaab insurgents began pulling their fighters out of Mogadishu over the weekend, raising hopes that humanitarian groups would be able to step up aid deliveries after years of blockages by the militant group.

Al Shabaab retreats from Mogadishu after years of occupation


Somalia’s al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group Al Shabaab on Saturday retreated from the war-torn capital city of Mogadishu after several years of fighting.

During a press conference, Somalia's leader, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Sheikh Ahmed, praised the government forces that successfully pushed Al Shabaab out of the capital. He termed the event as "a great victory for the government and Somalis in general."

“We warn the civilians against rushing to the abandoned areas by Al Shabaab in Mogadishu, there can be bombs planted in those places” the president of Somalia told reporters.

The Israeli intelligence source told the Law Enforcement Examiner that the next step is for bomb technicians -- some of whom were trained by U.S. experts -- to search areas of the city abandoned by Al-Shabaab terrorists for improvised explosive devices (IEDs) or unexploded ordinance that may be a danger to civilians.
Congratulating the Somali National Army, Prime Minister Abdiweli Mohamed Ali said it was a great achievement for the Somali people and a big step towards defeating the extremists. “We have been dreaming of this day for the last three years,” he said.

“This is a big day, and a tremendous step forward, towards a more stable Somalia. But their actions in the past hours the extremists have shown that they never had a place in a peaceful Somalia, that they are foreign and motivated by a violent ideology. And the people do not want them here.”

The next step for the government is to bring in food, water and medicine for the Somali people who have been suffering from a severe drought and famine throughout the Muslim nation.

Because of Al-Shabaab's cruelty, aid groups from the United Nations, the European Union and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) were prevented from helping the starving and sick population.

“The insurgency and the violence they impose on the people of Somalia is a fundamental cause of the famine we are suffering. There is now an opportunity to give the international community the necessary confidence and assurance to ramp up its provision of humanitarian aid to Mogadishu” the Prime Minister said.

Al Shabaab claimed that their fighters have abandoned Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, in order to attack enemy troops in other parts of Somalia. They claimed they made a tactical move to hit and break the spine of  Somali government forces.

Al Shabaab has blamed the United States and France of backing and helping African Union forces in the battles that have led to their retreat.
