Why is this Penguin guy always supporting lost cause

From Atiku, to Obi and now mutinous rebellious Russian PMC mercenary
It is good to see that you lots are consistent in your support for aggressors all over the world and not just in Nigeria alone.

This goes to show that this is who you people are, and not about Nigerian election or Tinubu’s capacity as you would like to fool the world with.

You people simply like seeing darkness triumph over light, and evil triumph over good. But will it happen? No. Never! It has never happened before and it won’t happen in our time.

In 2014, Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine without a single provocation. They weren’t fighting for the protection of their sovereignty or whatsoever. It was pure act of the strong trying to bully the weak; against fairly play and established conventions. Russia felt untouchable.

Then, they went ahead and started arming separatists in the Luhansk region of Ukraine and openly made Ukraine aware they were supporting those separatists because they feared no consequence.

Then, in February 2022, Russia officially invaded Ukraine and started marching to Kyiv to capture the Ukrainian president.

You people cheered Putin and Russia, and said that Kyiv would fall in 73hours.

We told you no, that Kyiv will not fall, that darkness (no matter how mighty) will never triumph over light. It’s not spirituality, it’s the order of nature.

Well, more than one year later, Kyiv is still standing and Russia has lost grounds from the territories they hitherto occupied in Ukraine.

And guess what, like is consistent with karma, Putin is in the middle of an internecine war. He must now fight to keep his sit while fighting in Ukraine and deploying weapons to Russia’s boundary with Finland because Finland joined NATO.

Now, just like you have been supporting Putin who is the aggressor here, you have been supporting Tinubu the mandate thief who now thinks himself unstoppable.

And like Putin is about to face a disastrous end, so will Tinubu face a disastrous end.

Doesn’t matter how long the wicked prospers, he will never escape his waterloo.

The problem with you guys is that you think we are still in the Dark Ages when stronger nations/kingdoms will invade weaker nations and kill, maim, rape their women, take sex slaves and loot treasures. Such is the anachronistic mentality you have for power and governance.

But like Hitler, Abacha, Putin (soon), etc, was stopped, Tinubu will be stopped.

Foreign AffairsOngoing Coup In Russia: Where Are Putin Supporters? by Penguin2(op):
The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has addressed Russians at about 9am EST where he acknowledged ongoing coup attempt in Russia by the Wagner group.

He condemned their actions as “treason” and “mutiny”, and that it will be severely punished.

But emerging information from Russia tends to paint a picture of the Wagner group having an upper hand as they are said to be on the match from the country’s Rostov region, where they first captured, to Moscow without resistance.

Putin is said to have offered to relinquish power to the Security of the Russian Security Council but the secretary declined the offer.

This is a developing story…

While tinubu cabinet will be peopled or dominated by technocrats, politicians especially ex governor's will also be accommodate with less sensitive and strategic portfolio...

Ganduje:,Among the ex governors,he was the most loyal and hardworking to tinubu.even if tinubu intends to make kwankwaso minister, ganduje must be compensated.minister of FCT will be fitting.

Lalong:having lost out in the senate and sgf race,he will take the lone ministerial slot for plateau.fct, special duties, trade and investment, humanitarian etc will fit him.

Wike: I feel he would nominate someone to take rivers spot plus several other federal posts meant for rivers or him and Abe will be ministers.works, interior, niger delta will be fitting.

Bagudu: though he failed to deliver APC,he might get a ministerial slot in agriculture, fct, trade etc

Amosun: he has a chance but with osobo close to tinubu,it is a tall order.

Oyetola: tinubu will surely give him an appointment though it might not be ministerial.specisl duties, national planning will suffice.

Badaru abubakar: he will take the ministerial slot for jigawa.fct, trade, water resources etc

Ben ayade: he has a slight chance as minister of state, environment, culture

He, himself, knows. That’s why he has been lobbying for ministerial position.

Politics“The Undertakers Are Coming”. - Dele Farotimi by Penguin2(op): 10:04pm On Jun 23, 2023
I would usually weave my narratives around some pithy metaphor or the other, and I would enjoy the seductive flow of language, as I would show off the best of the education that was once freely available to my generation, fruits of the fecund visions anchored on integrity, of the men that once ruled over these lands.

But I do not care for metaphors today. My purpose is to tell you the bare truth. Not that you would recognize it, for you have subjectivized the truth beyond recognition, but I write secure in the knowledge that history shall record that you were warned, and I shall stand absolved before God. I bear testimony against the lot of you.

Seven years ago, I wrote Do Not Die In Their War. I warned you about each and every thing that you have experienced in the Buhari regime up until this point. You were warned. I have made the book freely available since the first year of its anniversary, and I followed up with a second book, Imperatives Of The Nigerian Revolution. I made this available for free download, long before its first anniversary. Both books remain available for free download today. But you are educated illiterates, who either read without comprehension, or are simply allergic to books, preferring instead the beer parlor analysis by which ignorance has been weaponized by the ruining crass.

I have drawn your attention to these two books in order to flaunt my credentials, and so that you might understand that you need to pay serious attention to what I have to say going forward. If you find my tone condescending and annoying, know that I owe you no apologies, I have taken these tones deliberately, for you are undeserving of more. Whatever else you might think of me, I have a mantle for this country, and in this season, and you shall be ignoring my words at your own peril. The reign of the undertakers is at hand, if we shall have failed to rise to the occasion that looms ahead. Nigeria is at an inflection point in its inglorious history.

The Nigerian state is dead. It has been killed by the hubrises of the Nigerian ruling class, a class peopled by two sets of undertakers. The most demonized and easily recognizable part of this class of morticians, are the Fulani Islamist hegemonists. I have written extensively on them in the Imperatives Of The Nigerian Revolution, and I will not waste time on the subject. The second set of undertakers are the useful idiots who works with them, feeding from their masters table, from the food taken from the Nigerian poor. Whatever the ethnoreligious differences of this class, it is a most cohesive unit, and it functions on the clear understanding, that the Fulani hegemonists are the ultimate operators of the impunity, but that in all other matters, except as to the administration of impunity, each member is licensed to do as it pleases with the hapless victims, who imagine themselves to be citizens, and who are hopelessly divided by the machinations of the ruining crass.

I shall delay myself a while, simply to amplify and not to explain, the Fulani virus of feudalism has jumped host, and the victims are Nigerians of all nationalities, whose rulers have become highly feudalized, and Fulanized, feudalism being a uniquely Fulani construct in the Nigerian space. Islamist only as a political device, but extremely comfortable with evil and as the munafik in the dimensions of their vacuous religiosity. Behold Yerima, and remember Jangebe, they have merely protested God, but He does not live in them. And you can always hold up Pastor Agboworin as a counterfoil. Religion, is completely true to its origins in Nigeria, it has become the tool by which men have been bound. In the name of God!

The first condition of humanity is justice, but the only thing that has overtaken Nigeria is injustice. I see deep darknesses enveloping the land. I see efforts being made to put out the light. I see a prolonged period of unending strifes. I see even more bloodshed than we have become acculturated to. I see no future for Nigeria. I see a descent into chaos. Deep chaos. Unless we collectively shine our lights, and halt the impending reign of the undertakers, who are poised to consolidate the reigns of amoral power and to raise the banner of impunity.

The undertakers are coming to bury hopes. The hopes for a country built on citizenship and the rule of law, hopes for an egalitarian society where the circumstances of a man’s birth is not the determinant of his life’s trajectories. The hopes of the child of a civil servant as my father was, that he would ever receive a decent education from the public school system. The hopes for a Nigeria where hope would fetter despair, and lure men and women away from crime. The undertakers are coming to build on the ruins of the Buhari years and they will bury every hope of their ever being an account for the serial crimes against the Nigerian peoples. But the conflict between the knowledge of the truth, and the demand for forceful acceptance of injustice and inequities, shall plunge Nigeria into darkness.

The undertakers are coming, and the question is, are you ready? This is Our War, and we cannot afford to lose, or we shall become as slaves, legally enslaved by the evil construct known as Decree 24. Or we shall become victims of the inevitable wars of resistance that are bound to come. This Is Our War.

You are the one ignorant Adekunle is among Tinubu's name, even Chicago university and wikepedia all referenced him as Adekunle.

Tinubu needs not provide anything, it is Atiku and Peter Obi that needs to provide the real Bola Ahmed Tinubu they know cheesy
In all those times, this is the first time the Chicago State University is being served a subpoena which has forced them to issue the Certified True Copies of all documents relating to Tinubu in their archive.

Before now, what the courts were always served with is a response from CSU to enquiries from journalists where the university would always reply and say “Yes Bola A. Tinubu was a student of this university”. But we never knew what that “A” stands for until now.

I’m not gonna engage in academic argument with you. These evidences have been laid before court. My own business was to bring it to the public.

If you think it’s meaningless and of no consequence against Tinubu, then so be it, until the courts decide we will find out how useful or useless it is.

The daftest bone of contention one could possibly pick.

Anyone who has ever worked in a multicultural setting knows damn well that members of a linguistic-majority group occasionally make administrative errors in the records of the linguistic-minority. In other words, a clerical officer who has never left the South Side of Chicago can easily be forgiven for thinking everyone named Bola is female.

Atiku's legal representatives have gone up the creek without a paddle on this one.

Now for those asking how Adekunle could possibly have become Ahmed, I know for a fact that there are many Southern Muslims actually adopted non-Islamic names when they travelled out of Nigeria in the 60s, 70s and even 80s. This was done for ease of passage when migrating to Anglicised Western countries.
Did you not read that PDP also submitted an attestation letter from a Southwest college in Nigeria to Chicago State University attesting that Bola Adekunle Tinubu (female) went through the school and should be accorded all privileges as such?

Or the Southwest college also had a clerical mistake?

You know I deliberately let you alone in the previous thread because I’d rather use my time for something more productive than engage in academic argument with u.

But a quick response to you here…

Are you aware that in law, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not the same as Ahmed Bola Tinubu? You might want to check PDP vs Degi Eremienyo as per Supreme Court judgment.

Now, we are not just talking about something as trivial as above, we are talking about the introduction of a new name into the mix -Adekunle.

Now, why did you think PDP submitted Tinubu’s membership card in APC and the name on his nomination forms as evidence? It is to further buttress the point that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom APC sponsored as their presidential candidate is different from the Bola Adekunle Tinubu who went to Chicago State University, both in name and gender.

Now, except Tinubu can provide an affidavit where he swore to an oath that the two names belong to him and can be used interchangeably, it’s gone (otilo).

With every passing day, things continue to look more and more bleak for Tinubu at the Presidential Election Petition Court.

And today, the candidate of the PDP in the last general elections, Atiku Abubakar, seemed to have saved the best for last as he presented what can be tagged a bombshell in court as he closed his case.

Few takeaway points for quick considerations:-

The Certified Copies of Certificates from Chicago State University in America returned with the name Bola Adekunle Tinubu (Female). Same name and gender was in the Certified True Copies of NYSC certificate.

This is worlds apart with Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Male), the candidate who stood for election under the APC.

Over to APC boys and their lawyers. Do you still think Atiku doesn’t have a case?
The Presidential Election Petitions Court has admitted certified copies of Academic and work records of President Bola Tinubu tendered by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The documents include a B.Sc certificate from the Chicago State University, NYSC Discharge Certificate, and Mobil Nigeria Oil Plc certificate of service.
The PDP had brought the documents through their subpoenaed witness, Mike Enahoro- Ebah who is a Private Legal Practitioner.
He noted that the documents were purportedly obtained by Tinubu but bore the name ‘Bola Adekunle Tinubu’.

Led in evidence by the lead Counsel to PDP, Chris Uche, the witness also tendered forms EC13 and EC9 nomination forms and the letters written to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as attachments.
Counsel to INEC, Abubakar Mahmoud, Tinubu, Emmanuel Ukala and the APC, Lateef Fagbemi, all objected to the admissibility of the documents.

The witness referenced the following documents:

(1) certified true copies of form EC9(Nomination letter of Tinubu).

(2) receipt of payment for certification.

(3) witness application letter, requesting for the documents.

(4) INEC’s Letter of response.

(5) Certificate from Chicago university belonging to the 2nd respondent( Tinubu).

(6)NYSC discharge certificate belonging to the 2nd respondent, with the name Tinubu Bola Adekunle.

(7) Certificate of service from Mobile Oil Nigeria PLC.

(coolParty Membership card.

When the lead counsel to PDP applied to tender this documents, all the respondents objected to their admissibility.

The witness also tendered, academic records from Chicago university, a copy of the subpoena served on the Chicago university, the original academic records and degree certificate, original admission letter, original transcript from South west college to the school Tinubu attended, given to Chicago university with the gender referred to as Female.

He also tendered a notarized judgement of USA for criminal forfeiture of assets of Tinubu and the cover note authorizing it. Furthermore, extracts of a Guinea passport and the certificate of compliance for Tinubu were also presented.

The PDP also presented:

(1) Certified true copies of forms EC8A’s of 25 LGAs in Delta state.

(2) Certified true copies of forms EC8A’s of 13 LGA’s in Ebonyi state.

(3) Certified true copies of forms EC8A’s of 18 LGAs in Edo state.

(4) Certified true copies of forms EC8A’s of 17 LGAs in Enugu state.

(5) Certified true copies of forms EC8A’s of 27 LGAs in Imo state.

(6) Certified true copies of forms EC8A’s of 21 LGAs in Kogi state

Under cross-examination by Counsel to INEC, Abubakar Mahmoud, the witness said he has not spent too much money even as he tries to bring the truth to Nigerians.
When asked if he was displeased that his candidate lost, the witness answered in the affirmative.
The court then after, rose to reconvene later for further cross examination.

And even in what he said, it didn’t mean he was rejecting him as southeast representative, he was just stating what he thinks he needed to say which is subject to investigation so we can determine the veracity of such claim.

Section 66(1)(a) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic,1999,(As Amended ), is clear and unambiguous that a person who voluntarily acquires the Citizenship of another Country, who is a Citizen of Nigeria by birth is not eligible for elections.

It is my submission that the operative word here is “voluntarily acquire the Citizenship of another Country”.

So you can be a dual Citizen of Nigeria by birth . That is to say you are born in another country and at the same time , one of your parents or grand parents is indigenous to a Community in Nigeria. This is the category of dual citizens that can not be caught by Section 66(1) of the Constitution.

Section 66(1) is clear and unambiguous and should interpreted literally as expected by the literal cannon of interpretation.
Section 28 only says you will not forfeit your Citizenship, but by the provisions of Section 66(1) of the Constitution you can not contest. In the United States ,if you are not born in the United States you cannot contest for the Presidency. It does not detract from your Citizenship. So,the argument that Section 28 of gives you leverage to contest is not tenable as the being a Citizen simpli cita ,does not qualify you to contest ,except you meet other pre-requisites and one of the pre-requisites is as stated in Section 66 (1) of the Constitution.

The Provisions of the Constitution finds expression in Section 66 (1) which prohibits a person who voluntarily acquires the Citizenship of another Country from elective Office.

The cases of Ogbeide v. Osula and Labour Party v. Ishola, referred to by some analysts are Court of Appeal decisions. The Supreme Court had decided in Ucha v. Of Court?
Not true.
They are tied to the same umbilical cord... If anything hits Hamzat now, Sanwo-Olu is gone.

1. These are pre-election matters and have expired.

2. An Appeal Court has cleared Obi hence a lower Court will do nothing.

3. These are intra-Party issues and no other person except aspirants who participated in the Primary can sue.

4. The APC or any other Party has no jurisdiction.

For the Primary issue of citizenship, obtaining a citizenship of another Country does not invalidate your Citizenship by Birth in Nigeria. The only problem will be if Hamzat did not tick the box!

A key case by the Appeal Court in Labour Party & Ors v Ishola & Ors in 2014 is similar.

Mudashiru Oniyangi JCA (now retired) put it succinctly:

However, a Nigerian by birth who thereafter acquires citizenship of another Country i.e. America in the instant case, does not lose his right to vie for any elective office in Nigeria been a citizen by birth and not by naturalisation or registration. cc Penguin2
Thank you for lending your voice to help educate Mynd44, our friend. Hopefully he would submit to reason now.

Meanwhile, good to see that the courts have adjudicated on the matter before up to the Appeal Court. Let’s see what the Supreme Court says (though I don’t expect them to give any judgment against Tinubu😏).

Lastly, Hamzat actually indicated his American citizenship in the form he submitted to INEC.

@Penguin2, anyone who still believes that Peter Obi has no case is indeed a fool. I have followed the ongoing tribunal case and discovered that even if the judges were compromised, there is little they can do against the overwhelming evidence Obi and his legal team has presented.

At this point, the least Tinubu can hope for is a rerun, and even that will be a tough decision for the judges to make, against outright declaration of Peter Obi as the actual winner.

Tinubu's greatest undoing was underrating of Obi and Obidients. They thought it was business as usual where once a president is declared winner, regardless of the rigging, everyone else will move on. But unfortunately for him, no one moved on in his own case.

Even Mahmood will be very ashamed of how everything is being exposed. Make no mistake about it, Peter Obi is now known globally. Lots of political observers across the world are also following up on the case. INEC is increasingly appearing more like a criminal organization rather than an electoral umpire. I don't think there is any African democracy whose electoral umpire is so debased like INEC.

The judges will have no choice than to do the right thing, otherwise, our judiciary will also go down with INEC as criminal organizations.
Tinubu Owambe boys still believe Obi has no case in court.

But who takes them seriously anyways? Didn’t they say Obi will not get 1million votes before the election?

Funny enough, LP was the petitioner in the case. If the party had checked the decision of the court in previous cases it was involved in, they won’t even bother going to court over the matter. Anyway, I won’t get tired of schooling you in this forum till you stop posting nonsense.
Was Ishola a governor or deputy governor?

It would be hypocrital of you to keep on mentioning rigging as if there have ever been any free and credible election in Nigeria before. Rigging in Nigeria is being done by all the political parties, only that the highest rigger always win.

Wike has been in Pdp for decades, rigging for Pdp broad day light, you people saw nothing wrong about it cos it was favouring you, now that the table has been turned around, you want to be forming holy of something you have been beneficiary of. Hahaha things no dey work like that.

Kyrgyzstan, if I am not mistaken is one of the most matured democracy in the world but their last election was flopped due to rigging which was unprecedented, that's one of the most rated country oo not to talk about Nigeria

Were you Obidients expecting 100% free, fair and credible election in the last general election? Where were you and other opposition when the new electoral law was being debated at both houses?

You ate your cake already, so stop asking us about it's whereabout

It's because of a day like this, the below thread was created should Incase of had I known

https://www.nairaland.com/7230596/important-things-should-discussing-during
Yes, we were expecting a 100% free and fair election in 2023.

The highest margin of error we expected was about 2% as opposed to the almost 50% that was eventually recorded.

And hey, because election riggers have gone away with their rigging in the past doesn’t mean every election rigger will go away with his or that we should now institutionalize rigging as an expected normalcy in our elections.

And why would you use a country that failed to organize a proper election as the yardstick for Nigeria?

If our aim as a country is to be emulating evil from failed countries then state it in our constitution so that we can start adopting whatever is going on in Libya, Syria, Yemen, and legalize homosexuality and transgender, and allow public sex and other vices; since such is the model you want for Nigeria.

In the case of Shetimma, he participated in the primary, won and his name was sent to INEC. He then wrote to INEC informing them of his unwillingness to continue as the Senate candidate.

Also not that the position of VP is not an elective one. Just a spare in a joint ticket as he is not the main candidate.

In the case of both Obi and GRV, They resigned and left. As per the rules or election in Nigeria, there is a time limit for which you can pull out of election and not appearing on the day of the primary does not mean you pulled out, it only makes you absent. But you are still an aspirant.

As For LP register, candidates don't contest election in Nigeria, parties do. You have to be a member of the party to contest the election. Obi and GRV were not members of LP When they were nominated meaning they were not candidates in the first place.

There is a reason Wole Olanipekun added that to his preliminary objection. Refer to the judgment between Adeleke and Oyetola. Where the Supreme Court said the tribunal was wrong to have not considered the preliminary objection before diving into the case of Adeleke's alleged forgery case.

As for the first two sentences you wrote, it is common of Labor party supporters to resort to insults and foul talk. Keep it up, you are getting there
I would have preferred if you are providing proof to your claims as you make them.

Below is section 77 of the Electoral Act 2022 which talked about parties submitting their register to INEC; end of discussion.

No mention was made of any consequence to non submission.

No mention was made about a party not sponsoring any member whose name was not in the register submitted to INEC.

So where are you really getting the ground for your submissions?

So it's now my ilks not me in particular.. Interesting.

As you can see that analysis was Jun last year 8 months before the election. Now how about the rest of my analysis which are in majority that are just reality of today?

The Muslim Muslim ticket suggestions Shettima precisely?

That South South should have the SP as the president would be from SW

That SE would again missed out in the top 5 political positions

Point out to any of your analysis on this forum that you have been active that get close to reality?
The Muslim Muslim ticket made Tinubu lose the election like I, and other right thinking Nigerians, told you before the election but INEC rigged Tinubu in.

Again, you cannot hide under making the state 8 months before the election as your excuse because it would only expose your poor foresight and judgment. Because as far back as that 8 months before the election I was consistent with telling you what the outcome of the election would be in each region of the country. What do you say to that?

About who would get SP and what appointments, those were post INEC selection projections that was left you people alone to decide on. What’s our business with that?

Actually, you are wrong again.

It was only in the 2022 electoral amendment that only candidates or aspirants can challenge the credentials of candidates and aspirant (This is stated in Section 29(5) of the Electoral Act 2022)

Case example here include the case against David Lyon and the fact that the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi challenged (then governor) President Tinubu's credentials.
No sir!

Even 2010 Electoral Act didn’t give every Tom, Dick and Harry the unlimited right to sue any candidate that participated in an election.

Under that Act, a plaintiff must show cause how he’s affected by the case he’s litigating on.

Again, you haven’t answered if the case was instituted within the window provided for such redress. Because Saraki had been declared by INEC since February of 2015 and Saraki was taken to court after he outwitted Tinubu to become Senate President in June. That’s more than 21 days window provided for redress after an election (or was it even lower in the 2010 Electoral Act).

The Tinubu vs Gani case you are referring to happened in the early 2000s when not even the 2010 Electoral Act nor other Amendments to the constitution had been made. That’s why he could do it then. Things are more stringent now.

Some of you people can lie ridiculously.

Below is the thread you are referring to. Abeg where did I mention winning a local government in the said thread even though the question was 8 months before the election

See, you don't need to lie to support your argument

https://www.nairaland.com/7189355/obi-receive-20-votes-ss
What you need to understand is that when I said “you”, I wasn’t referring to the singular “you” but to the totality of your ilk.

Or would you deny some of your ilks making those claims?

And even to you in particular, this was you claiming that Obi cannot score anything above 15% in any Southsouth State because of Okowa and PDP spending power.

Such claims were what I wrote against. Now, post election, who was right and who was wrong between you and I?
