9jatriot:Lol! Continue to comfort yourself with a lie if that would help suit your pain. But are you aware his employment later and ID card as Amazon staff was tendered in court? You think everyone is a criminal like Tinubu that hired fake Bishops. |
N3TRAL:Don’t be a joke! In the case of Edeoga vs Peter Mbah, is NYSC not a third party? Are they second party? Or first party? Why are you doing this to yourself in public? |
inoki247:Then what do you think a “subpoena” is? Ice cream? |
N3TRAL:Oh my goodness! Can you stop misinforming the public? If you can’t tender evidence from a third party in court, then why are there witnesses in court? Are witnesses not third parties to every case? A third party tendering a evidence in court is valid as long as you get the third party to tender the evidence himself and not you bringing it to court on his behalf. Get yourself educated please. |
N3TRAL:Atiku’s server case failed in 2019 because there was no law recognizing INEC to own and manage a server or any other technological equipment then. But the 2022 Electoral Act has given legal status to INEC website and other technological tools. So, it would amount to foolery to think that INEC would get away with the denial of their website like they did in 2019. But of course I’m you are incapable of separating facts and appropriately understanding the variables at play now as against 2019. |
inoki247:Pathetic that you don’t know that there’s a body responsible for all bank transfers in Nigeria. It’s called NIBSS which stands for Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System. It is owned by the CBN and all Commercial Banks and every transaction in Nigeria passes through it before it is settled. When we suffered glitches on bank transfers during the election period, they were the ones responsible because they deliberately jammed their network. That’s why every bank suffered it. Now, take NIBSS as AWS and one commercial bank in Nigeria as INEC… Would you blame the commercial bank for the network failure and inability to make transfers during the election or blame NIBSS that should ensure that electronic transactions are hitch free? If you would blame the bank, how come every other bank suffered the same problem? Which shows it’s from the source. But imagine every other bank was working seamlessly and one bank was having network issues, won’t you automatically know that it is clear and deliberate act by such bank? |
SangoOlukosoOba:Stop trying to rationalize the illogical my friend. If Bandits kill 50 people in Benue State, would say it’s a Benue problem or would you call on police to sit up and arrest the killers and prevent future occurrences? Amazon is responsible for the security of anything hosted on AWS. Therefore, if anyone claims any kind of failure as regards any website hosted on AWS, it is incumbent on Amazon to explain what happened. It’s same way we would contact the Police PRO in Benue to explain why people were killed instead of contacting Benue villagers. What’s your point really? |
engineerboat:It’s not even a matter of debate. I only pointed out that I was right that Tinubu would appoint a Yoruba as COAS. I don’t intend it to be a dick measuring contest. |
babaolofin:If the Igbos had no choice in 1999, what about 2003 that Buhari had an Igbo running mate? Why didn’t the Igbos choose Buhari over Obasanjo since, according to you, the Igbos hate Yorubas and never forgave Obasanjo? |
babaolofin:Lemme tell you something, something you don’t know, the Igbos have a way of relating with a person or a people. The antagonism of Abiola by Igbos was not because he was Yoruba, no, it was because of his attitude towards Igbos prior to his contesting the presidency. He is always alleged to have infamously claimed that he “can do without the Igbos.” Whether this is true or not is debatable but one thing I know is that the Igbos never accuse someone of doing what he didn’t do. So, that was why Abiola got antagonism from Igbos who got infuriated that he said he can do without them. I am telling you as an Igbo man that we don’t hate Yorubas. Take it from me. We just hate the ones that hate us and openly champion hatred against us. Obasanjo fought in the Biafran War and participated in the massacre of thousands of Igbos but Igbos forgave him and made him their friend because Obasanjo showed genuine disposition towards reconciliation with Igbos and we understood that he was merely doing his job during the war. The only problem with some of you is that you have never tried to understand us nor see things from our perspective. You stand afar and condemn us. |
senatordave1:See, let me tell you something, like I’ve always told you, I am yet to see what Tinubu will do to get the support of Igbos. I’ve scratched my head but I can’t seem to find one. And trying to divide Igbo votes is useless. It won’t work. Has never happened before and I don’t see it happening anytime soon. Igbos are homogeneous people. We think alike, behave alike, like the same thing and always move in same direction. One candidate will always get our votes. If Tinubu releases Nnamdi Kanu, it would be seen as a gimmick to curry our support. We would see it as deception and that’s why it would fall flat on its face. Even if Tinubu succeeds in winning Obi over to his side, Obi would be ostracized as a sellout and that’s the day his popularity will die. On a second thought, I think the only one for Igbos to start warming up to Tinubu is if he orders all his foot soldiers to stop all their anti-Igbo rhetorics. All the covert and overt attacks of Igbo businesses and interests, especially in Lagos, should seize with Tinubu issuing an address from heart to Igbos calling on them to shit their swords that he has realized the things he did wrong in the past against Igbos and is willing to make amends. Then lastly, all forms of attack on Igbos during elections should seize; with Igbos allowed to freely vote whoever they want. If Tinubu can do the above, he will win the Igbos over. Anything else, would be a fruitless venture. |
SangoOlukosoOba:Do you even understand what cloud storage is? Eh Mr IT expert? Let me make an illustration and try to break it down like you are a primary 2 pupil…. Let’s say Adeniyi Incorporated opens a warehouse. He doesn’t sale any goods but he tells those who sale goods that he can be helping them secure their goods in his warehouse while they pay him for his services. The traders agreed. Now, one day, a supplier ordered for goods from one of the traders who stores his goods with Adeniyi Incorporated. When it was time to deliver, the trader who stores goods with Adeniyi Incorporated failed to supply to the customer who placed order with him and blamed it on Adeniyi Incorporated for failing to secure the goods he kept under the care of the company. Do you know what that means? It means Adeniyi Incorporated cannot be trusted with people’s goods. The onus now lies on Adeniyi Incorporated to prove that it is the trader that is dubious and not his company that failed on its duties. Now, if we are to follow your argument, we would then argue, that even though the trader paid Adeniyi Incorporated to secure his goods, the security of such goods is still not on Adeniyi Incorporated but on the trader. Does that make sense? If yes, why was Adeniyi Incorporated paid in the first place? |
senatordave1:Tinubu had no choice than to appoint an Igbo man. I’m sure the last thing he wants this early into his presidency is the noise of Igbos in ears screaming “marginalization”. Lol. Buhari excluded the Igbos, not just in security appointments but in other areas including his utterances, but I’m sure it wasn’t as easy as he had thought it would be. Maybe his calculation was that excluding Igbos from such appointments would break them and make them bend the knee and start supporting him but it rather heightened the antagonism of Igbos against him. He initially thought he could ignore it but I doubt if it tasted good in his mouth. Tinubu wouldn’t want to toe same path. |
senatordave1:I told fergie001 that Tinubu was going to appoint a Yoruba man as COAS but he doubted me. His argument was that Tinubu would appoint a northerner who would have hold of the army but I insisted it would be suicidal of Tinubu to hand the army to a northerner. I do not think it’s tactical for any president to take the army away from his region. If I become the president tomorrow, my COAS might even come from my state😏. |
Today, an Amazon employee and a Cloud Engineer and Architect testified in court at the ongoing Presidential Petition Tribunal and brought with her, 33 reports from 6 regions of the country to refute INEC’s claim that the reason it failed to follow the Electoral Law that mandates it to upload results from polling units was because it’s website suffered “technical glitches”. The implication of INEC’s claim, if it finally stands, is that Amazon has lied to millions of its customers worldwide on the reliability of its web hosting platform. Recall that Amazon prides that it’s AWS infrastructure is 99.9% efficient in all technological ramifications; from limitless storage capacity to security of data to seamless experience in using the platform. It is therefore imperative for Amazon to clear its name so as to reassure its customers that the platform is still reliable. Failure to clear its name and incontrovertibly demonstrate in court that its platform is reliable and that INEC lied, the platform might face barrage of lawsuits from users who would cite the failure of AWS in Nigeria as ground to prove that Amazon had lied to them while marketing the platform to them that AWS was 99.9% reliable. Such lawsuits might lead to Amazon losing billions of dollars in damages claims. But it won’t stop there. Not only would Amazon lose billions of in damages claims, it might also lose its existing customers to rival platforms and they would also likely lose potential clients who would rather deploy rival platforms than deploy AWS that has “failed in Nigeria”. That is why I am calling on Amazon, that not only should it concentrate on incontrovertibly demonstrating that INEC liked through its teeth just so it could rig the election for Tinubu, they should also sue INEC, either in Nigeria or US, and demand billions of dollars in damages unless INEC is able to incontrovertibly prove in court that it did suffer “technical glitches” and that AWS truly failed, for the first time ever, in Nigeria. I’ve said it before and I will reiterate it for the umpteenth time, that for the courts to uphold Tinubu’s ‘victory’, they would have to render a greater chunk of the 1999 constitution and the entire Electoral Act 2022 useless. Like Aisha Yesufu said, “our business is not to trust the judiciary, our business is to overwhelm the judiciary with evidence.” By the time Obi is done in court, the Judiciary would have no option than to do justice. Rerun is the best that Tinubu can get out of the courts. We watch and wait!

lhordspy:I saw where someone has already corrected you that the new Chief of Naval Staff, Emmanuel Ikechuckwu Ogalla, is an Igbo man from Enugu State. Meanwhile, I think the reason Mba didn’t get the IGP job is because of the explanation that Fergie had already proffered on the matter. Recall that Fergie said appointing anybody from either the 1992 or 1994 set would mean the retirement of the 1990 set which they might not take so easily. That’s why Egbetokun, who is their mate, was appointed which retains them in service, and equally retains Mba in service. Remember you were of the opinion that Tinubu would go for Jitoboh who had 9 years left in service which would have retired Mba. You even argued that IGPs are usually appointed from AIGs and that Tinubu was going to appoint an AIG but i countered you that a DIG can still get the job which later happened. |
senatordave1:Those evidences are not dumped in court. Obi’s lawyers will still speak to them. Again, Obi has presented INEC certified accreditation data for all the states he’s contesting its result. I’m sure you were expecting Obi to be presenting server report so that the court will use Adeleke vs Oyetola to throw his case out, but Obi has not talked about anything server since the case began in court. If anything, he was there in 2019 when INEC denied having server. So, how can he want to make 2019 mistake again? |
senatordave1:Can you stop already? I follow every court case; not media sensation. I’ve seen buckets and buckets of materials brought in court. From from EC8As to forms EC8Bs, EC8Cs, EC8Ds and EC8E; all, INEC certified. Similarly, Obi has presented INEC certified BVAS accreditation figures for all the state under contention. Shebi BVAS is what you are referring to in Adeleke vs Oyetola? What you are forgetting is that the man who prosecuted Adeleke vs Oyetola is in Obi’s team and must have read and dissected the CTC of that judgment and know its implication to Obi’s case and how best to prosecute Obi’s case with lessons from Adeleke vs Oyetola. Or are you telling me that you have not seen all other evidences Obi has brought to court except the blurred result sheets? |
senatordave1:Okereke vs Umahi is my state and the courts never ordered rerun in any polling unit. Maybe you are not getting my point… That the courts will either uphold the entire election or annul the entire election. But going by the volume of evidence before the courts, it would take a miracle for the courts to uphold Tinubu’s election. |
jagorinho:Are you suggesting that if Orji Uzor Kalu or Okorocha was the one that defected to Labour Party to contest for presidency, that I’d still be supporting them? |
Biodun556:How many have died in Lagos? |
Biodun556:How low can you go sir? So Alaba International Market that has been in existence since Lateef Jakande gave Igbos that place is now a den of terrorists all because of election? How many people have they killed? How many places have they bombed? How many times have ever heard of any skirmish at Alaba Market? The people there are only interested in doing their business. They are always busy and care less about anything and anyone. But all of a sudden, Alaba International Market is now a den of terrorists all because of the hatred you harbour in your heart against Igbos. Let me tell you something, tell Sanwolu to demolish the entire market and use the place for BRT park. Igbos survived the war with just 20 pounds. Nothing shakes us anymore. But I’ll leave you with one last word - “table turns”. |
senatordave1:You still haven’t given me an instance where the court ordered a rerun in contested polling units. Let me ask you, why did Adeleke lose his case in 2018? Because the judge who read the majority judgment missed court sitting one day (or forgot to sign attendance register for one day). Wole Olanipekun held unto it and argued that the judge not coming to court for one day has vitiated his stance in the case, and the Appeal and Supreme Courts agreed with him. This is ethics we are talking about. Everything must agree for an act to be adjudged good. From the intention to the action and the result of the action. If one if these chains is vitiated, the entire chain is vitiated. So, I insist, that if Obi succeeds in proving irregularity anyway, it would amount to irregularity everywhere which would vitiate the entire election and a rerun ordered. And lastly, did INEC set out to organize an election that would be acceptable to every Nigerian and the world or they set out to conduct an election that “substantially complies with the Electoral Act”? |
chukel:Calm down, don’t run speed. Are you aware that every vote Obi gains is minus one for Tinubu? Or you think Tinubu’s votes will be constant while Obi labours to close the gap? For instance, if Obi succeeds in proving to the court that he won Rivers, the extra votes allotted to Tinubu in Rivers will be deducted from Tinubu and added to Obi. So, while Obi’s votes grow, Tinubu’s own diminishes. Same with Lagos, Borno, Kogi, Benue, and other places where you guys carried out your abracadabra. Again, in presenting the blurred results from INEC which was certified by INEC, Obi equally presented the form EC8As of Labour Party agents in the requisite polling units which contains the accurate figures. Meanwhile, recall that before the blurred results, Obi had presented the INEC certified form EC8As for all the states he’s contesting its votes. Aside the form EC8As, he has equally presented forms EC8Bs, EC8Cs, EC8Ds and EC8E; all, INEC certified. What this means is that he has laid evidence before the courts to look at the polling unit results and the final results and see if they agree. Additionally, he has equally presented BVAS accreditation data for all the states he’s contesting its votes. But of course, I’m sure you have never heard of those ones. The only one you heard is that he presented blurred result sheets and it’s useless to court. And by the way who are you to determine what court would do with the evidence laid before them? |
mrvitalis:We just freed trillions of naira through subsidy removal. What have they done with that before looking for how to add to price of petrol through introduction of tax on every litre. |
jagorinho:You see your problem? You were in Enugu during Sullivan’s time as governor. But you were definitely not in Anambra when Obi was governor. But we saw both men. We saw Obi and Sullivan perform and when they were done, everyone agreed they did well but Obi was the best. Or you don’t trust our judgment? And if you don’t trust our judgment, give me any instance of a bad performer in governance that we are rating. I’ll wait. |
nairalanda1:No. I’m not in support of any more loans. But we just freed trillions of Naira through removal of subsidy, what have they done with that one? |
nairalanda1:I disagree with you sir. One of the greatest fiscal problems Nigeria had was petrol subsidy. And now it is has been removed, funds will be freed up more for govt at all levels. Now, removal of subsidy has shut up the price of fuel which has left majority of citizens grappling to survive since the cost of petrol has affected the cost virtually every essential commodity in the market and you think introducing a 7.5% VAT on the already expensive petrol is a wise decision? Do you even want the poor to breef at all? |
senatordave1:Tell me a precedent, whether in Nigeria or anywhere in the world, where irregularity was proven in some polling units and the court ordered a rerun in just those units and not the entire election. Again, you keep talking as if Obi has closed his case at the tribunal and you are already certain of what his pleas were and the evidences he brought to court to that effect. Which is not the case. Obi is still building his case and laying his evidences before the court. You don’t follow the case more than I do. And saying that the drug aspect of the case has been abandoned is erroneous because you do not know what further evidence Obi will bring to court to that effect before the case is closed. By the time Obi is done laying his evidences in court, which would show that he won the election by a wide margin, the courts would have no option than to declare him. |
senatordave1:If Obi is able to prove irregularities in a whopping 18,000 polling units, you think the judges are gonna order a rerun in those polling units alone? No sir. Irregularities in 18,000 polling units is enough to vitiate the entire election and a whole rerun will be ordered. But Obi is not looking for a rerun (Tinubu is already getting ready for that), what Obi wants is his outright declaration as the winner. But in the event that a rerun is ordered, Tinubu might be disqualified due to his drug past. |
senatordave1:Ok. I pray they do same justice on Obi’s case. |
