No shots fired.
The only shots fired are the ones in your brainless skull.
Because billboard or no billboard, the Obi train has left the station and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
There is not a single billboard of Peter Obi in Lagos but Tinubu is inaugurating Independent Campaign Council to help him defeat Obi in Lagos.
So, if Peter Obi is giving Tinubu a run for his money in Lagos without a billboard, he will sweep Anambra even without a single poster.

MrEverest: "Buhari can help Negotiate a deal with 2 groups 1. The G5 2. For Kwankwanso to step down even if it means promising him presidency after Tinubu"
You wrote a succinct article but the above quote from it makes no sense at all.
1. Buhari has no influence over G5 governors, they're Southerners with one from middle belt. They have no obligation to Buhari. Secondly, things have gone beyond the G5 governors in their respective states, they would instantly lose relevance if they go against the general insterest of their people.
2. How can Buhari promise Kwankwaso presidency when he couldn't even install his choice of candidate on his party? Buhari wanted Ahmed Lawan but APC governors outsmarted him. Also 4 to 8 years is too long in politics for any agreement to still hold water. Kwankwaso is no fool and would know that already.
The best option for Kwankwaso is to contest in the election, prove himself as a force in the NW. Even if he comes 2nd, 3rd or 4th, he would have done great then he would have successfully helped in retiring Tinubu and Atiku permanently. By 2027, he would most likely have only Peter Obi to contend with. Sentiments for president to go South won't be against him anymore. Knowing that Nigeria's problems are enormous and Buhari has done severe damage, it would be extremely difficult for Peter Obi to reverse that damage in 4 years. Again Nigerians can be impatient, this could make Peter Obi to lose some of his popularity thus giving him a fighting chance. A good analysis here. But forget, if Obi wins this election, he’s doing his second term and no Kwankwaso can stop that. Except Kwankwaso returns to either the APC or PDP. But if APC and PDP present candidates, with Kwankwaso still in NNPP, then forget it. Again, because of the sentiment that the south needs to complete its 8 years, most political parties are likely going to present a southern candidate in 2027 if Obi wins this year. So, there are a lot of intricacies involved. But Kwankwaso’s best bet is to finish the election and prove his mettle which he can use as bargaining chip in the future; say 2031. |

MadeInTokyo: Obi will win South East Obi will win South South Obi will win North Central Tinubu will win South West Atiku will win North West Atiku will win North East
Obi will have to win those regions with very high margin in order to offset his inevitable poor performances in the North East and North West and also match the very large pro Atiku votes that will come from the same North West and North East that traditionally always produce highest votes casted.
With BVAS being used in this election, the election is between Atiku and Peter Obi. Obi has to ensure this election doesn't go into run off, a run off will see Atiku win Obi convincingly as Tinubu and Kwankwaso voting blocks in the South West, North West and North East will switch votes to Atiku during run off since Tinubu and Kwankwaso are no longer contesting . Tinubu is a non Factor in the election, his Muslim Muslim ticket is already a baggage for him in this election... Tinubu zombies can quote me again.
Same thinking here. Obi has to win at first ballot or it’s over. But when you remember that there would be some lobbying that would go on. Tinubu and Kwankwaso would be lobbied by either of Atiku or Obi. Who they decide to support for the rerun would also be consequential. |

Politics › Re: Why Edo Is The Epicenter Of The Obidients Movement by Penguin2: 9:11am On Jan 14, 2023 |
Odibembem: If elections are held today, Peter Obi of Labour Party will likely pull out about his best performance nationwide in Edo State. Benin City and Edo is about the epicenter of the Obi movement but it is not really because of the love of Peter Obi, it's more as a result of the loss of their first love. It's a product of high level frustration. Let me explain Obaseki by whatever means was able to use propaganda to discredit his predecessor, positioned himself as victim and our brothers from the east, fuelled by the IPOB sympathizing gang pushed the narrative of a heroic Obaseki and satanic Oshiomhole rooted APC from Edo (they all glossed over the injustice by Obaseki in refusing to inaugurate 14 (or 15) elected members of the House of Assembly, they glossed over his demolition of houses of political opponents). Unfortunately Obaseki became a disaster and turned against the same legacy PDP who have him shelter. He decimated the old PDP, their leader Dan Orbih virtually took flight to be staying with Wike in Port Harcourt. Their hope was that Wike would get the PDP presidential ticket so they can have their revenge on Obaseki but Wike lost it to Atiku and the moment he did, the legacy PDP and disillusioned former Obaseki crowd recoiled from PDP and found home with Peter Obi in Labour party. They became so fanatical in their support for Obi as an expression of their frustration with Obaseki and PDP. They could not go to APC for two reasons, firstly cos majority of them were never APC and secondly, the shame of swallowing their vomit after all their praise for Obaseki and insults to Oshiomhole was a pill too hard to swallow. If the legacy PDP faction in Edo did not fall out with Obaseki and the national, Obidients Movement in Edo won't be this strong. Benin City metropolis is fully Obidient, Edo Central, home of the Esans, perhaps only senatorial region in the whole of Nigeria that has never returned a single National Assembly seat for any party other than PDP since 1999, where PDP is a religion and they vote them by default even when they catch the aspirant raping their loved one has become Obidient and for the first time would deliver their votes against PDP for Labour Party. Only no-go area for Peter Obi is Edo North, home of Oshiomhole who is loved by his people for what he delivered as governor. So my permutation for Edo is that Labour wins, APC comes second cos of Edo North and PDP comes from the rear cos no segment of the state where they are popular right now. But know this and have peace of mind, the love for Obi in Edo is out of the pains of the loss of legacy PDP and disaster of Obaseki. And watch out, LP won't win any National Assembly seat in Edo, they won't win up to three house of Assembly seats, if they win any at all. This aggression for Peter Obi is very pointed, zero organic love for Labour Party. Ultimately Edo can never be Lagos or Kano. 2.5m voters can never be 7m voters or 5.9m voters. No matter how much you beat your chest, the minority can never torpedo the majority, votes would be counted and Obi will struggle with Kwankwaso for that covered position of distant third. Know this and have peace of mind How foolish of me to think you wanted to make sense. No wonder you said Edo North is no-go area for Obi. But Obi was in Auchi the last time, and Auchi people abandoned Oshiomole’s Senatorial Campaign inauguration to go and see Obi. What does that tell you of who is more loved in Edo North? |
