They will still lose woefully. presidential election is more of structures rather than only candidate.

Where will they get the structure?
The ticket will sweep the south.

And with Kwankwaso, the northwest would likely swing in their favor

He is probably going to NNPP.

What I now don't know is who will be the VP or Presidential candidate between him and Kwakwanso.
That would be a masterstroke.

I pray he’s the presidential candidate

And not running mate.

An Obi/Kwankwaso ticket would be a bomb
Politics › Resignation From PDP: Has Peter Obi Miscalculated? by Penguin2(op): 6:19pm On May 25, 2022
Having seen the resignation letter of Peter Obi from PDP which confirmed his exit from the party and withdrawal from the party’s presidential race, I’m tempted to question the rationale behind that decision.

I’m an ardent supporter of Peter Obi but I think that if he has truly resigned from the PDP, then he has goofed; it’s a complete faux pax for him.

Because I do not see any other platform that can possibly grant him victory in the general election.

Remaining in PDP would have guaranteed either the presidential ticket or vice presidential ticket which would have brought him closer to the presidency.

As we wait to confirm if this is fake or true, and to know Obi’s next move, I make bold to say that this decision, if confirmed, was a miscalculation.

Politics › Breaking: Governor Ugwuanyi of Enugu Chooses A Successor (video) by Penguin2(op):
News filtering in from Enugu State claims governor Ugwuanyi has endorsed Barr Peter Mbah as his preferred successor .

Folks in Enugu should confirm this and maybe tell us something about Peter Mbah. Because this is the first time I’m hearing that name.

Modified:

I’ve confirmed that Ugwuanyi endorsed Peter Mbah as I’ve obtained a video from the PDP primary currently ongoing with Peter Mbah winning almost every ballot.

Politics › Re: BREAKING: Dagogo’s Suit To Stop Rivers PDP Governorship Primaries Fails by Penguin2: 3:34pm On May 25, 2022
It is only a fool that wouldn’t know it will fail.

APC rodents and Tinubu urchins have been rejoicing that PDP will not have guber candidate in Rivers State but I’ve been laughing at them.

I read the interview that his lawyer granted and in his whole narrative, there’s no where he stated any role that PDP played in Dagogo’s ordeal.

PDP did not call police to arrest him when thugs attacked their secretariat, it was the state government that did and the state government has every power to protect the lives and property of Rivers people including the PDP secretariat. So it is not out of order that he was arrested.

Again, he alleged that PDP deliberately waited to screen him last until he was arrested on the day of PDP governorship screening but he can’t prove that allegation. Him being screened last was mere coincidence and PDP has absolute no power to stop his arrest.

Similarly, he contended that PDP ought to wait for him to be released before they continue the governorship primary process… But is that possible in light of Electoral Act 2022 where party primaries has a deadline as set by INEC. Or why would Hon. Dagogo want PDP to join him in suffering the consequences of his actions? That’s bad fate.

So, I can tell you categorically clear, that Dagogo has nothing on Rivers PDP from High Court to Supreme Court.

He only has case with Rivers State government.

So zombies should rest.
Politics › Re: 2023: Borno, Yobe Governors, Delegates Endorse Tinubu For Presidency by Penguin2: 3:25pm On May 25, 2022
Yobe Governor is Mai Mala Buni or who please?

Someone should tell me another joke.

I’ve always said it that Premium Times is just Tinubu’s brown envelope blog.

From reporting Obi Pandora

To reporting about Amaechi breaching Public Procurement law.

But not a single negative reportage on Tinubu and Osinbajo.

Now they are reporting Tinubu’s endorsement.

Junk journalists!

One thing zombies should know is that if Buhari and the northern oligarchs wanted Tinubu to succeed Buhari, then wouldn’t be need for all the turbulence in APC all along.

Buhari and his men would simply have allowed Tinubu the control of APC through Oshiomole so that as convention is here now, it would just Tinubu’s coronation ceremony as APC presidential candidate.

That they took the party structure from him and relegated his men shows clearly that Tinubu will not get anything from APC. And you can take that to the bank.

Ogbonnaya Onu is APC’s consensus candidate

Just as I thought.
The blog that even carried the news sounds like one of those many run by a semi-illiterate who out of joblessness went into blogging and having not made it financially,as he dreamed, came up with this rumour, hoping to use it to create traffic, knowing there are many Nigerians out there that don't use their commonsense to question the authenticity or logic of what they read.
Much as this government is the most useless on earth,I for one have been a firm advocate of regulation of the social media,or in the alternative, laws to make it easier for people to sue for lies, defamation or slander made online and to get culprits severely punished.
I do not support gagging of social media please

Will you keep quiet!

Igbos didn't determine their fate...PDP as a party and the sitting governor with the structure determined this one.

You vote?
Party structure and the governors were able to do it because of the support of the people.

In both Abia and Enugu, the condemnation that greeted the ambitions of Abaribe and Ekweremadu were the same. Only some ragtag scalywags under their payroll were supporting them.

Or do you see anyone in Abia or Enugu protesting their being schemed out?

Politics › Buhari Has No Power To Sack CBN Governor. Ignore The Fake News. by Penguin2(op): 12:48pm On May 25, 2022
The Act establishing the CBN provides for how it’s Governor can be removed and the process would involve the National Assembly .

So any report claiming Buhari has unilaterally sacked Godwin Emefiele is fake news and should be ignored.
