I might believe whatever the Op is saying but what I know is that Ahmed Lawan as APC candidate vs Atiku Abubakar as PDP candidate, Atiku will win before okokoroko on Election Day. Southwest for one will cast a protest vote against APC if Yoruba man is not the Presidential candidate nor chosen as vp again. So, it’s checkmate for APC. |
Big lunatic fool After telling the world you are not Igbo, you are asking for Igbo votes to defend Igbo interest. Onye ala We would rather vote for Tinubu or Buhari’s third term. |
The fear of IPOB is the beginning of wisdom. |
Deep calleth upon deep. Failure standing with Agbero. Obi doesn’t need the endorsement of characters like Ikpeazu, it will even be a dent on Obi. Onye ala! |
Ayade should go speak olympotic cylindrical to APC chairman… His candidate will be cleared by force. But imagine a Professor endorsing a candidate with questionable academic credentials… |
Why is this man wasting his time like this? Tinubu will never be president. It’s as clear as noon day. |
You sure say the woman na pastor Abi she don use Edo juju on Blossom? I’m not understanding this one o |
Aderewah:And this your post is for what? If Amotekun is working like u claimed, why is skull mining thriving in your region? |
The Nigerian Army can’t go to after the kidnappers in northern forests but they can deploy fighter jets against IPOB in Orlu forest. Banditry is northern business, simple. |
nnatobryno:You are nothing but a Tinubu or APC supporter who want Wike to waste the PDP ticket. |
On what grounds did the court grant a tenure elongation to elected officials whose tenures are supposed to expire today? What sort of rubbish is that? |
He’s being pragmatic. It’s same thing that happened with APC and Buhari in 2015. Every person that aligned with him then won the election. Aligning with Kwankwaso,m in 2023, especially in the northwest, might be more prospective than being a PDP candidate. |
OkoroBufo:Deborah Yusuf truly sounds like an Igbo name to you abi? |
With recent happenings in Sokoto and Abuja, it’s getting clearer that Buhari might be Nigeria’s last president. |
ebufa:Don’t mind them. Mods will not push this to FP because it’s not about IPOB killing people. The agenda is the same across board |
Kyase:No need for argument. Make Tinubu get ticket first. |
Kyase:You people overestimate yourselves and Tinubu. Kwankwaso’s candidate defeated Ganduje whose hand Buhari raised. Now, Kwankwaso himself is on the ballot with Malam Shekarau on his team against Tinubu, a southerner, and you tell me Buhari’s raising of Tinubu’s arms (which is never happening anyways) will make Tinubu defeat Kwankwaso in Kano. Later you will tell me you are in the north. I’ve confirmed tonight that you are in Osogbo. |
YorubaNiBaba:E go clear for your eye soon. Meanwhile, I too am standing on Tinubu’s saggy scrotum ![]() |
Lol! Because they sowed Agbada with Tinubu’s evil mark and gave to some few rented Almajiris to wear, we no go hear word again. Even if Kano’s 463 delegates vote for Tinubu at the party’s convention, does that guarantee that Kano people will vote for Tinubu with Kwankwaso tsunami sweeping across Kano? Make una dey get sense na. |
fergie001:The President assented to the National Health something Bill today. I thought he was going to assent to the amended Electoral Bill too, considering that party primaries are just days away, but he didn’t. Like you said, Malami might wanna use this to get back at the National Assembly who thought they had schemed out political appointees with section 84(12), without knowing that they too would find themselves here. The funny thing however, is that Buhari declining assent to the bill would be like biting one’s nose to spite one’s face. Because it means Buhari himself and state governors won’t be voting at primaries. It would just elevate the ad hoc delegates to the position of mini gods. Let’s see how things pan out anyways. |
So, ever since Kwankwaso defected from PDP to NNPP, there seems to be some kind of political tsunami going on in Kano with the political crème de la crème in Kano falling over themselves to join the new but emerging political strong force. What has been confusing however, is how some people have reacted to the situation, with some arguing that it is PDP’s loss and others arguing it is APC’s loss. It is what prompted this piece, to truly mirror whose loss the emerging political reality in Kano would be. To best understand this, we need to go back memory lane a bit to the 2015 general elections where the APC got over 1.9million votes in Kano alone. When you consider the fact that Buhari defeated Goodluck Jonathan by a margin of about 3million votes, you will realize that Kano alone accounted for approximately 2million of those votes. Again in 2019 general elections, the APC garnered about 1.1million votes in Kano while the PDP could only muster about 391,000 votes from the state. Now, with the above statistics in view, you will realize that Kano is clearly APC’s stronghold. Now, this stronghold is what is about to be decimated and APC has not gained any new territory since 2019 except for some few high profile defections that might really deliver the required votes. If you doubt how irrelevant high profile defections are to elections, go and ask Andy Uba of Anambra state. Because with all the big names who defected to the APC to support him the state gubernatorial elections, he still came third before Supreme Court voided his participation in the election. So, with Kano gone, and no new territory gained, it is quite obvious that what is happening in Kano is clearly APC’s loss as I cannot see where they would be making up for the votes that would be lost to Kwankwaso in Kano. And when we go broader to consider the fact that Kwankwaso’s new party might as well garner votes in other states in the Northwest region which is an APC stronghold, you will realize the APC has more to worry about the Kwankwaso tsunami than do PDP. In the last count, PDP’s SE and SS votes are in intact. The party’s votes in the Southwest, especially if a southwesterner does not end up getting the APC ticket, is still there. With herdsmen menace, more people are even likely to vote for PDP in the North Central. Now, PDP, APC and NNPP will share Northwest with APC likely to have a slight edge due votes from other states except Kano. In the North East, if Atiku ends up getting the PDP ticket, the region might give 70% of their votes to PDP. And if a southerner (Peter Obi) gets the ticket, he’s likely to run with a North Easterner (Dakwambo) which might still give him about 50% of the region’s votes. In all, I just want those arguing to understand that the political situation in Kano is a bigger disadvantage to APC by wide margin than it is to PDP because it is only going to shrink APC’s votes for PDP to play catch up. Penguin is a bird of reason! Mynd44 |
Munamoqel:Not only Southeast, but even Southsouth. That gives you the idea of the kind of Nigeria that Tinubu wants to run as President. The Nigeria that would exclude Southeast and Southsouth. It didn’t start in this campaign; it started since 2015 after Buhari won the election, Tinubu extricated SE and SS from his map. But he wants to be president. His urchins will still give lame excuses. |
MissSlimbody:They should not forget General Paint too, on the Island, close to LBS. That’s another dane nefarious elements who constitute security problems. Cars are snatched there, phones are stolen there and police dare not enter |
They keep sitting on Igbos’ progress thinking they are doing us. But they are doing themselves. Arthur Eze knew this would happen and took his investments out of Nigeria. Innoson knew this would happen and took his oil investment overseas too. Now he’s hit a goldmine in Sierra Leone. That’s how they frustrated Ibeto until he took his cement business to America which is even better for him today. I’m very much sure that if it was an aboki that reached that deal, they would have brought FG approval for him at his gate. But because it’s an Igbo man…. Ndi ala! Ndi uchu. It’s just a matter of time. |
TheNiceGuy:What interest was he advocating and advancing? Religious? |
TheNiceGuy:What interest does he represent from his post? Christians? Or interest of lawyers? Or is he not a Muslim? Is he not a lawyer? |
Opolopoopolonio:And he will not split APC own Abi? Shekarau just left APC to join Kwankwaso and you think it’s only PDP votes that will be affected? If anything, it’s APC that should be worried because Northwest is their stronghold. If it’s gone they are gone. Votes from Southwest alone can’t make Osinbajo president. That’s if he was to be the APC candidate anyways. |
IgOga:Don’t celebrate too early oga. E fit be fake news. And if it’s not, Atiku still dey. So don’t celebrate yet. Besides, Tinubu will never be president. |
See what a lawyer is saying
|
Hahahahahaha Let me laugh out loud in joy and happiness. Things are getting clearer faster than we thought. Sophisticated morons and Tinubu urchins where are you? The men who installed Abdullahi Adamu have told you the handout he was given to work with. It’s either Amaechi or Badaru. Tell your urinating lord and savior to beat that. Fools! Ndi ala! |
micellgevity:I do understand your point. Well, maybe you should consider Graphic design. It’s easier to learn and more in demand but with lower pay. |
micellgevity:Why are you running from coding and programming? But to answer you, i think animation is the next best thing after coding and animation. |
