He never said he won't if they keep pushing towards NATO. Am not defending madness but being logical. If USA is sooo nice to fight for Ukraine because of conflicts in their region, why didn't USA help other countries that were fighting and killings two years ago. Was it because those countries were poor?.

What is Soo special about Ukraine that isn't part of NATO yet that USA will go So far to aid. Simple it's because the nation that they are against is Russia. They are also against China. They are both Communist world power.

Nigeria has been fighting and alot have been dying. Are we not close to England and USA. Where is the support?.
Would you equate what is happening in Nigeria to what Russia is doing in Ukraine?

In Nigeria we have some ragtag dissidents or criminals causing some pockets of mayhem around the country; but Russia chose to ignore Ukrainian sovereignty and invaded the country.

It’s the first of its kind in modern history. So why won’t US help? Who else would if it doesn’t?

“Awa oyel”

“Southeast is a barren land”

“IPOB is doing attaché by force because of oyel”

These are some of the rhetorics that has constantly been thrown up by Southeast, nay Igbo, haters on this forum.

Despite the confirmation that Imo State, in Southeast, holds the largest deposit of Gas in Nigeria (some say in Africa but I can’t say that as I have not read any official report to that effect), some Igbo traducers still held unto the belief that Southeast is a barren land.

But God, the lover of Ndigbo (the lost Jews in Western Africa ), continues to shame the enemies of Ndigbo.

The SEMA DG in Enugu said it’s a Gas reservoir that was hit while drilling borehole, but he has not told us the person that reserved the Gas there and forgot it.

But I’m sure he is too ashamed to tell the press and the world that Gas Deposit (hopefully in commercial quantity) has been found in another Igbo state.

Rumour has always had it also that there is crude oil somewhere in Nsukka but that’s subject to further exploration.

To all Nigerians, Southeast is too blessed to be caused.

And considering that Gas is the future, Southeastern Nigeria is about to be the most valuable region in Africa and there’s nothing any hater can do about that.

Igbo Amaka!

Politics › Re: Peter Obi/lamido SANUSI Combo Suggested For LP by Penguin2: 6:16pm On May 27, 2022
Validated:
If Peter Obi can network to bring in Lamido Sanusi as running mate for 2023, LP could do the magic. Nigeria of today needs technocrats and not some theives who are being recycled every 4 years. The party should start putting youth base structures across 774 LGAs. Focus should be "deliver to lead", sign-on across the over 7800 wards. It is a 7-months project.
#Takeitback 2023
It won’t work if Kwankwaso is on the ballot.

Peter Obi should get the Labour Party ticket first and then let the party go into a serious negotiation with Kwankwaso.

Obi/Kwankwaso is the only ticket that can cause the upset we are looking for.

First of all Putin never said he is pulling his troops out of Ukraine.

Second there will always be an opposition group no matter what you do. Examples democrats and republicans, PDP and APC. Whether what any party does that is good, the opposition will always talk against it.

War is wrong but in a world were humans rule, conflicts are inevitable. Why would a world power agree to have other world powers bring weapons to their border. Am talking about NATO and Russia. Poland and Ukraine in NATO next to Russia who practices Communism have had problems with USA Democratic government. China is a communist country and you can see the tension with USA.

All the countries in NATO have done their own wicked deeds especially USA. They are just better at keeping a better image than Russia. When Trump won, they blamed Russia. When Biden won they didn't blame Russia. Why would Russia want trump that is more strict.

Don't let propaganda deceive you.
Balderdash!

Finland and Sweden have both applied for NATO membership which would bring those arms to Russian border.

Tell Putin to invade them too.

You people will be defending madness

Aboki say na Gas reservoir

Wetin carry Gas reservoir go Caritas University land?

Who built the reservoir?

In what year?

And when Fr Ede was buying the land, did they forget that they built reservoir there and sold it without demarcation to point out that the area has Gas reservoir underneath?

Say the word clearly…

“That during borehole drilling, Gas deposits was discovered”.

Now, the next should be to determine if it’s in a commercial quantity so that drilling can start and Enugu will start taking her 13 percent derivation.

Ndi “our oyel”, “IPOB is doing attaché by force because of oyel”, “southeast is a barren land”, etc, you fools can now finally rest.

Imo is holding billions of cubic feet of Gas already and now Enugu…

We are too blessed to be cursed.

I want to believe that after securing the ticket of Labour Party, some form discussion will continue with other parties especially Kwankwaso so there can be an alliance.

If Peter Obi intends to run on Labour Party alone with some unknown northern candidate as running mate, then it’s a wild goose chase.

Regardless, wherever Peter Obi goes, I go.

Politics › Re: Court Clears Jonathan To Contest Presidency by Penguin2: 4:42pm On May 27, 2022
fergie001:
Issues of membership and leadership are strictly intra-party affairs, the Court won't touch it.

It's their choice. In Ogun last time out, Amosun wanted Indirect, Oshiomhole chose Direct for them. In cases like this it is power play and what determines is who is in control of NWC.

Whenever there is leadership issues, APC prefers to use Direct so that issues of which faction has the adhoc delegates won't become a factor since SWC has nothing to do with primaries excepting logistics.

The SWC spoke with all of them and they all agreed excepting Emenike.

PS:
Alex Otti has defected to Labour Party.
Court not touching cases regarding intra-party affair is grounds for impunity by political parties. I’m still contending that.

Meanwhile, Alex Otti lost the chance to be Abia governor when he defected to APC.

I really don’t know who the strategists of these politicians are, but they sometimes act like people without brains.

Otti knew the sentiments of Igbos against APC.

He equally knew of the different powerful individuals in the party, but still went ahead and joined APC.

Now reality has dawned on him after contaminating himself and he’s going to Labour Party to complete the numbers.

His best chance was in APGA but he blew it.

Yes, you said it.

Like you said, INEC is dealing with NWC who communicated that Abia guber primaries would be through Direct Primaries.

But remember my contention is if the NWC has the power to unilaterally impose a form of primaries on a state without the input of the SWC?

Was the SWC of Abia even aware that their primaries was to be by Direct method?

It’s an internal party affair, but there has to be a way to seek redress.

It is left for the NWC to decide the one they want to recognize and the rest will end in court.
