So garfield1 you truly think Southsouth will give Tinubu 1.5 million of her votes with Tinubu on the ballot?

I’m beginning to doubt you are from Southsouth because you obviously are alienated from the pulse of the Southsouth people.

Again, you manufactured over 3.5million votes for Southeast put together when records from that show we have rarely done past 2million votes in the region in the past two elections.

Add that to the fact that UGM might disrupt elections in the region to reduce the numbers even more if an Igbo man is not on the ballot.

Like somebody said of you one time, you are politically aware of the happenings in Nigeria but your biases always becloud your judgment and assessment.

Who go dash Tinubu 500,000 votes for SE? For what?

He has more to gain.

Feelers all over the south is that it is the turn of the south.

Then Nigerian youths are really on Obi’s case.

These are currencies that Obi is bringing that can be cashed on by Kwankwaso.

If they win, that would be 8 years of Vice Presidency before he succeeds Obi for another 8 years as president (ceteris paribus).

Ribadu is even a better option, if he can take him from the APC but the Atiku NE NE factor will affect them up north. Better he looks for another credible person from the NW.

People are voting that ticket because of "competence" and their incorruptibe stance, hence I suggested Ribadu.

Kwankwaso has a bigger than life personality; not good for a person like Peter Obi. Peter Obi even dispelled the NNPP rumour on TV. They never had any discussion.
Lol

Without a personality like Kwankwaso as running mate to Peter Obi, we might as well advise Obi not to waste his time.

Minime10:
I foresee Mr. Peter Obi making a decisive inroad that may eventually galvanize to his possible electoral victory come 2023, if his followers can put their acts together. This is so because, with the Emegance of Atiku Abubakar as the PDP standard bearer, Rabiu Kwankwaso for NNPP and Ahmed Lawan for APC the northern votes comes next year will be shared among the three northern contenders for Aso Rock. And if the sentiments down South that power ought to go to the South after Buhari's 8years is anything to go by, then the entire South should rally round Mr. Obi at this point irrespective of their differences, political parties and personal interest. Obi remains the only hope now for the South to get to power in 2023 otherwise, the South will have to complain for another long an unending 8years. You may not like Mr.Obi, but he took the right decision to have left the PDP having seen the handwriting on the wall already. If he had stayed back under the PDP, he would have lost the chance to contest under any other platform.
So in all of this, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi stand a good chance of making great impact in the race to Aso Rock come 2023 on any political platform he may choose to run, including Labour Party. If the suffering Nigerians masses and electorates fails to pitched their political tent with Peter Obi, they will leave to ever regreat, how they allow a good, visionary, prudent, dicipline, accountable, accessible, detribalise, result oriented and a passionate leader in the person of Peter Obi, who meant well & represent the new hope for this bastardized Country, missed their (the electorates) grip.
Mazi Peter Gregory Obi represent the only new hope for Nigeria head or tail. So let every Nigerians of good conscience and want the old order of doing things by these same recycled old politicians, to be discarded, rally round Mr. Obi and rescue Nigeria from the brink of immenent collapse as is the situation now.
Let us do this, not for Peter Obi, but for the sake of the young generation and the unborn kids.
Think about a better Nigeria, think Mr. Peter Obi!
Think about purposeful leadership, think Mr. Peter Obi!!
Think about frugality in the management of the Nation's resourses, think Mr. Peter Obi!!!.
Anywhere Peter Obi goes, there we shall go with him.
Yes, Peter Obi stands a chance but with Kwankwaso.

I just wanted to remind you guys of my post in Nov 20, 2021.

My predictions are coming true.

I might as well be added to the list of prophets.

But we still have a way out, if Tinubu can throw his weight behind Peter Obi to unite the south behind Peter Obi instead of GEJ their puppet, then we can still defeat the north.

If not, the north can continue.

We don’t have to separate to stop playing second fiddle.

The north is still succeeding because it’s divide and conquer politics is still effective. The day the Southwest and southeast will give up their political differences, that’s the day the game of the north will come to end.

What can the governors really do? To me, Obi as his VP will still appeal to the teaming Youth supporters that Obi has.

Obi can always come back to PDP especially if he is sure of the VP ticket. Labour Party stands no chance for Presidency and half bread is better than none.

Also, Consider that if a Southerner wins APC ticket and eventually defeats Atiku then Obi cannot possibly become a President of Nigeria in this lifetime. He will have to wait 16 fuçking years.

Obi can still be reasoned with. He's a reasonable man.
Lemme tell you something…

If it wasn’t for the gang up against the Atiku/Obi ticket, especially by southeast governors, they would have won the election in 2019.

Those animals deliberately frustrated the election in the entire region. In some places INEC materials did not come until those who came out to vote went back home.

Don’t underestimate the power of a sitting governor.

The only thing is that I’m not seeing any of the governors that will give the kind of effect that Obi gave to their ticket in 2019.

The no of registered voters in the SE alone was about 8m, for Lagos is 6.5m registered voters in 2019. Just Lagos alone, it's almost even in terms of voter registration.

I went to school in Ibadan, and there is a good population of non-indigenes there as well.

I grew in Ojo LGA, that place has about 50-55% non-indigene population and the PDP has never lost a Presidential Election there since 2011. The neighbouring LGAs are not different, factor in those of them that won't vote.
4 out of 5 Igbo men in Lagos here votes PDP, it's reflex.
At least 3 out of the 5 from the ND-area votes PDP.
The Northerners vote based on interests.

What I believe is they put too much interests in their State Elections than the National. The ones who live around me troop out to vote for Governor but won't bother themselves for Presidency. I have never voted outside the SE but I am telling you what I noticed

To even think that Peter Obi as a VP to Atiku will become the "natural successor" if they win, that ticket will stand a very good chance.

I believe it's not too late. Peter Obi can still be made to see the long-term goal, return to the party and take the VP slot.

Atiku/Obi will crush any APC combination.
Well, I don’t think there’s any law against picking someone who is not a member of your party as running mate.

Just that if Atiku picks Obi again, PDP governors will gang up against him again.

He has to chose a running mate from amongst them

One banker told me that with the sort of money in this country, if politicians were working with just 10%, that this country would be competing with Europe.
With the hype around Peter Obi, there has been two questions in my mind. If he is as good as people say, why isn't Anambra close to becoming like Europe? Granted, a few times I have passed through the state, it does seem to have the best road network when compared to any other state I've been to. But in terms of massive development, I haven't noted that it is fantastically different from any other Nigerian state.

Furthermore, Peter Obi doesn't seem to have the will to fight. How can he stop the vultures bleeding the country dry if he couldn't even fight the PDP crooked politicians to a standstill? Unless there's something I'm missing, the odds against Peter in his quest to make Nigeria a working country is too high. It may just be just it - hype, since the negro race has not been known to know how to get things done. Peter may just be any other Nigerian politician, after all, Buhari was once a messiah you all were waiting for.
How can you compare Peter Obi to Buhari?

Are the mental capacity the same?

Are the antecedents the same?
