No, friend. Scriptures debunking men's wrong interpretation of scriptures. When men finally understand true doctrine perfectly(this can only be when the Holy Spirit Himself teaches us and not just our minds/intellect. 1Cor 2:11-16, Eph 1:17) they will find that there is no contradiction in scriptures. So please, once again, embrace my previous plea, for the perfect will of God sake. Bless you.
I leave you with this. Salvation that is temporary is not Salvation at all

Exactly my initial point. You cherry pick a bunch load of scriptures to present a concept totally debunked by other scriptures(e.g. presented by OP, 2Pet2:1,13,20-22, Jude 4-6, Mt 24:12-13, Heb6:4-6, Heb 10:26). This is the proof of a ignorance/misunderstanding of Doctrine. The one who truly understands doctrine is the one that presents concepts that cannot be refuted by ANY portion of scripture but reconciles all perfectly. If you are truly of Christ, I plead with you don't be tied to what you heard from a preacher just because he speaks convincingly but seek the Holy Spirit daily and grow in intimacy with Him, eventually you will understand clearly the Doctrine far beyond what preachers claim and will have spared yourself loss of eternal rewards. God bless
Scriptures debunking scriptures?? Wow!!!

solite3:
op didnt say confession of sin is needed for people to be saved, how many sins can they confess? But the saying that God does not see your sins because Christ died is false. This below is the standard for shepherding

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Hyper grace put down the law of God, they rebuke the law of God rather pointing out the human sin nature and upholding the law.
People can never be saved if they do not see the holiness of God as it really is, if they do not see themselves as accountable to God how will they know their need to be saved.

So you've quoted some scriptures to counter. That's not the test of understanding but a superficial show of shallow knowledge. Can you also deny the scriptures solite3 presented. No. It means you're a cherry picker of scriptures and have no true understanding of what they mean. Many elements form a compound. picking each element by itself is a completely different compound from the whole mixture.

Christianity EtcOn Eternal Salvation. by Perfectbeing(op): 7:24pm On Dec 14, 2019
Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
I'm sure you've heard people say stuff like "that doctrine of eternal salvation or once saved forever saved is from the pit of hell. Once saved is not forever saved"
When people talk like that, it is either because they don't read their Bible or because they are just ignorantly proud
Eternal salvation is not a word coined by grace (or hyper Grace) preachers and it is not a doctrine manufactured by grace preachers
Eternal salvation is the only type of salvation that is found in Christ. It is the salvation that Jesus authored
It's either you are saved eternally or you are not saved at all
Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
You cannot make Jesus what He is not. You cannot make him a temporary saviour. And you cannot make him the author of temporary or shaky shaky salvation because of your pride, ignorance or your hatred for grace preachers
Take a chill pill!
Jesus cannot save half way. He won't let you become a joint hair in the work of saving you
Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them
ISV Therefore, because he always lives to intercede for them, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him.
He saves completely!
SLT Wherefore he is able to save entirely those coming to God by him, always living to supplicate for them.
He saves entirely not half way!
T4T So, he can completely and eternally save those who come to God by trusting in what Christ has done for them, since he lives forever to plead with God to help them.
He saves completely and eternally, not temporarily and incompletely
YLT whence also he is able to save to the very end, those coming through him unto God--ever living to make intercession for them.
He saves to the very end. It's not those who endures to the end that will be saved to the end.
If He has saved you then He has saved you to the very end. To the very end!
That said,
1Thes 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when THEY shall say, Peace and safety; then SUDDEN DESTRUCTION COMETH UPON THEM , as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 BUT YE, BRETHREN , ARE NOT IN DARKNESS , THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF .
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
I want you to take note of the clear distinction made between them that believe and them that believe not. As is the manner of all the writers of the epistles.
Never does the Bible leave us in doubt about the the issue of judgment. Whenever there is doubt, it is not from the word but in the mind of the student due to improper handling of the scriptures.
Let's look at verse 4 of the above text. A key verse in understanding the entire text.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
(Always look out for the 'Buts')
You'll find corroborative evidence with this in..
Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
1. Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
So, we have been delivered from darkness because we have redemption through his blood, which is the forgiveness of sins.
We were all in darkness once but now we (who believe the gospel) are light in the Lord (in Christ)
2Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
Always learn to make a distinction between you and the unsaved (unbeliever).
It's never humility to class yourself with the unsaved. Rather it's pride! God doesn't and neither should you.
That said, let's look at the word condemnation as used in the epistles.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.
The word condemnation is the Greek word
"katakrima"
Thayer defines it as :
damnatory sentence, condemnation,
and it is from the Greek word "katakrino" which means "to give judgment against, to judge worthy of punishment,
to condemn by one's good example,
to judge against, that is, sentence: - condemn, damn.
It was used a total of ten times in the new testament text of the bible.
Used as " condemned", seven times in
(Mat 27:3; Mar 14:64; Rom 8:3; 1Co 11:32; Heb 11:7; Jas 5:9; 2Pe 2:6)
Once as "condemnest" in Rom 2:1,
Once as "condemneth" in Rom 8:34,
and once as "damned" in Rom 14:23.
On what ground is a man justified before God and another condemned?
John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 HE THAT BELIEVETH ON HIM IS NOT CONDEMNED : but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
So, condemnation is found in unbelief. By men's rejection of the gospel of Christ they condemn themselves to hell.
It is God's only character to save. All the sinner needs to do is believe in the saving God by faith in the blood of his son (his death, burial and resurrection)
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Same thing, faith in Christ sets the distinction between men. Not their works or goodness
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, AND SHALL NOT COME INTO CONDEMNATION ; but is passed from death unto life.
The man in Christ shall not come into condemnation on any account
Not on an account of sin. That's what he's already been saved from. It's not temporary but eternal
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
The eternal salvation of the Believer is well taught from the four Gospels into the epistles in a manner that no doubt is left in the mind of the Believer concerning his eternity.
Jesus saves to secure, not save to lose.
Jesus is not a careless saviour!
It takes a dishonest, proud or ignorant person to argue against the eternal salvation of the Believer.
When Jesus said in John 6 Vs 37 that he that comes to him he will in no wise cast out,
the word "in no wise" means,
(never, certainly not, not at all, by no means, a double negative strengthening the denial; not at all : - any more, at all, by any (no) means, neither, never, no (at all), in no case (wise), nor ever, not (at all, in any wise).
It's an unqualified commitment made by God to keep you from condemnation, judgment or wrath. This he does independent of any good or wrong you'll ever do.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
You, the devil or your sins have to be stronger than God to pluck yourself out of his hand.
God saved you and commits himself to keep you from falling and from condemnation inspite of having full knowledge of your future sins and misdeeds.
Forgiveness is not what he does for us, it's what he has done. It's a finished work of his free grace
Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness
, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Remove the once and for all forgiveness of sins from the new testament (the gospel) and what you'll have is the old testament.
The old testament RETAINS sins, the new testament REMITS sins
Don't ever forget that!
Rom 4:6 As David says that there is a blessing on the man to whose account God puts righteousness without works, saying,
7 Happy are those who have forgiveness for their wrongdoing, and whose sins are covered.
8 Happy is the man against whom no sin is recorded by the Lord.
God's only response to sin is to forgive it. And he has forgiven you.
All the unsaved needs is to hear the gospel, believe it and receive forgiveness of sins as his eternal inheritance.
The wages of sin is death therefore Jesus became sin in order to bear the wages of your sin which is death.
The soul that sinneth shall die so Jesus died your death once and for all.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
What about the wrath to come?
1 Thes 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Delivered from the wrath to come. Wrath of God?
No!
It's the wrath or wages of sin against the sinner (unbeliever)
God cannot be delivering us from his own anger or wrath. He's not bipolar!
1 Thes 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 FOR GOD HATH NOT APPOINTED US TO WRATH , but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our whole spirit, soul and body is preserved blameless unto the coming of Jesus (whether by death or by the rapture) which ever way you meet him you'll meet him blameless.
Because,
Vs 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
He didn't leave the security of your salvation in your hands.
That's why you're not called the saviour but the saved!
If you were too impotent to save yourself how come you think you can keep what you couldn't save?
Jude 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
So, for the man who is in Christ there won't be surprises on the day of judgment. No surprises from unconfessed sins and non from sins of omission or commission.
No need confessing and begging God to forgive you the ones you committed knowingly and unknowingly
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. (Heb 8 Vs 12)
No More!
Simple English shebi?
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their work
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Rev 3:5 HE THAT OVERCOMETH , the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I WILL NOT BLOT OUT HIS NAME OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE , but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Let's see who is the one referred to as the overcomer (he that overcometh)
1john 5 Vs 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Vs 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
The man who is in Christ will never have his name blotted out of the book of life.
Name in the book of life is a figure speech for 'in Christ.'
He is the tree of life, the bread of life, the river of life, the book of life!
All figures of speech.
Being in Christ is a matter of nature. You have the very nature of God in you, and that nature is eternal. It doesn't perish.
1pet 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 TO AN INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE , AND UNDEFILED , and THAT fadeth NOT AWAY , RESERVED IN HEAVEN FOR YOU ,
5 WHO ARE KEPT BY THE POWER OF GOD through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
The only people who would be surprised on the last day are those who think the Gospel was a joke and that there is no heaven to gain and hell to lose.
Those who refused to believe the gospel of Jesus concerning the forgiveness of their sins through his eternal sacrifice. They condemned themselves by neglecting so great salvation and not believing in Jesus.
Heb 2%3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
So you see, the doctrine of eternal salvation is the doctrine of the Christian church, it is our doctrine because it is the doctrine and work of our Lord and saviour
"You can't tell me that. That doctrine is from the pit of hell"
Well, Jesus was born again from 'the pit' of hell and so is everyone of us who are born again. We were born again from the dead, from hell and from death.
Now we are in him eternally saved completely, fully and entirely to the uttermost and the very end.
The believer is helplessly saved once and forever!
Hallelujah!

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Romans 4:8.... Psalms 32:2 beautifully puts it this way.. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Glory to God!
.. In whose spirit there is no guile. That's a believer he's talking about.

Col 1:22, But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

God says you are Holy, unreproveable. Not just blameless but Unblameable.

To fault the hyper Grace message is to fault the bible.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is Hyper-grace? by Perfectbeing(m): 2:46pm On Dec 14, 2019
solite3:
Question: "What is hyper-grace?"

Answer: The term hyper-grace has been used to describe a new wave of teaching that emphasizes the grace of God to the exclusion of other vital teachings such as repentance and confession of sin. Hyper-grace teachers maintain that all sin, past, present, and future, has already been forgiven, so there is no need for a believer to ever confess it. Hyper-grace teaching says that, when God looks at us, He sees only a holy and righteous people. The conclusion of hyper-grace teaching is that we are not bound by Jesus’ teaching, even as we are not under the Law; that believers are not responsible for their sin; and that anyone who disagrees is a pharisaical legalist. In short, hyper-grace teachers “pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality” (Jude 1:4) and flirt with antinomianism.

Jesus’ words to the seven churches in the book of Revelation strongly contradict the idea that Christians never need to repent. To the church at Ephesus, Jesus said, “Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place” (Revelation 2:4). Jesus rebukes five of the seven churches and demands repentance from them (Revelation 2:4, 6, 20; 3:3, 15–19). Far from believers being unaccountable for their sin, they must answer to Jesus for their disobedience (see also 2 Corinthians 5:10).

Preachers of hyper-grace doctrine discount the Old Testament and the Ten Commandments as irrelevant to New Testament believers. They even teach that Jesus’ words spoken before His resurrection are part of the Old Covenant and no longer applicable to born-again believers. But is this true?

In Mark 13:31, Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He promised that the Father would send the Holy Spirit who “will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you” (John 14:26). If Jesus’ words are no longer applicable to believers, why would we need to be reminded of them?

Hyper-grace teaching is a good example of mixing truth with error. An emphasis on the beauty and power of God’s grace is good, but some teachers are neglecting what Paul called the “whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). For example, it is true that Christians have been forgiven by God. But that doesn’t mean we never have to confess our sin. James 5:16 says, “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” If we are to confess our sins to each other, why would we not need to confess them to God, since every sin is ultimately a sin against God (Psalm 51:4)?
Did the thief at the cross confessed his sins to God before Jesus promised him a place in paradise. Or did he just believed in Christ and was saved?

Note that the Bible does not describe him as the Almighty God.

Do you now see the difference?
So why was YHVH referred to as the mighty God here?

also was it Jesus that was mentioned here since "Mighty" was also used..

"Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and lovingkindness, Do not let all the hardship seem insignificant before You, Which has come upon us, our kings, our princes, our priests, our prophets, our fathers and on all Your people, From the days of the kings of Assyria to this day.

Can you preach the same message you are preaching here in Nigeria /Africa in developed countries where there is already prosperity?
They have no need of financial or material breakthroughs
They have no need of miracles jobs
They are not seeking for the miracle of the fruit of the womb. They have advanced medicine
They are not trusting God for the miracle of a life partner
They are not believing God for a miracle job : their government have worked enough miracles in that area already
NO curses to break, no witch to kill and no deliverance needed for them to enter their destiny
They have good health care and technology
NO one is coming to the alter on Sunday to share testimony of a miracle car or miracle house
Like I said, the government are miracle workers
NO one needs to sow a special seed to gain admission into the university or to reap anything at that
There are no blood sucking demons on their highways because they have good roads
Most of the life-threatening emergencies you would pray and hold warfare for, they get swift answers by dialling 911
Will you preach your phony visions and doctrines of head tie, weavons, marine Kingdom and lipstick? They will arrest you!
Will you preach women should not wear trousers or makeup as doctrine there?
Will you hold vengeance service there too?
How about feet washing to enter into your inheritance?
They are already in their inheritance!
Will preach your fire message there?
Mr Preacher, what will you preach in such places?
Will you not preach Christ Jesus and him crucified?
Will you still preach another gospel?
The gospel is the universal need of all men. Rich or poor!
Every nation, undeveloped, underdeveloped, developing and developed
They all need Jesus, they need the gospel!
Forgiveness of sins, eternal salvation, no condemnation, identification!
NO more!
If you cannot preach the same gospel you are preaching here everywhere else in the world, you are preaching a false gospel!

Words that stand out..
Give attention to details!
The problem with false doctrine and teachings on salvation not being eternal never came from the Bible or the reading of the Bible but from improper and lazy reading of it
False doctrine began from people reading their minds and opinions into clear bible texts
For instance, once your mind is made up that salvation is not eternal, and that eternal salvation is a heresy and a ploy to make people live in sin then you suddenly become blind to what is so obvious
You read a clear and simple text with words like eternal, forever, never perish or condemned and you see something else entirely. You see the direct opposite!
That's the gaol of religion, to seduce you and lead you away stripped of your brain

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
From this simple text, it's already an established fact that damnation is the opposite of not believing or being saved.
Meaning a man can only be damned or condemned if he doesn't believe the gospel.
But religion will blind your mind to something this basic
Let's see this too
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:16 is arguably the most quoted and popular text in the faith yet the least understood
Verse 15 already made it an established fact that to perish is not the loss of salvation but the consequence of not believing
Verse 16 again emphasises that condemnation or damnation is the absence of everlasting life and not the loss of it
Verse 17 again makes it so clear that God is not in the business of condemning sinners but saving them.
Hence condemnation is not an act of God towards the sinner but the act of the sinner against or towards salvation yet people read this and miss it because they read their minds and religious beliefs into the bible
Just in case you didn't understand what he has said so far, Jesus (your saviour) goes further to stress the truth in verse 18
that the Christian, the believer, he who has believed is not condemned, and that the man who is condemned is condemned not because God condemns him but because he refuses to believe on the name of the son of God
This is Jesus (God) teaching about salvation and he leaves no room for doubt or uncertainty of salvation yet people read the same texts and run off with their preconceived notions like spiritual 'zombies'
That's what religion does. It breeds laziness and hypocrisy
John 10
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand
Even without going into the epistles, Jesus already gave more than enough evidence in his teaching about the salvation that he was going to make available in his death, burial and resurrection, that it was everlasting, eternal, secured assured and unloseable
Verse 28 and they shall NEVER perish because I have given them eternal life
It's a life that can never perish or be lost. That is why he calls it eternal life. It's his very own life
He goes on to say neither can anyone or anything pluck them out of my hands
That's assurance. It's found in emphasis
He goes on in verse 29 to say the same thing, give irrefutable assurance
If all we had were the four gospels or the teachings of Jesus without the epistles, they are more than enough to give any man an unshakable assurance of salvation
But now we have the four gospels, the epistles and the entire old testament scripture to steady our hearts on the perfect sacrifice and salvation of Jesus yet folks would fight tooth and nail just to refute what God assures and call the man who says what God says a heretic and a false teacher
Such is the bane of religion. It's full of vanity, deception and ignorance.
A man who is a professor suddenly reads eternal and sees temporary. Reads saved and sees lose which is the direct opposite of saved
Religion is that powerful!
It makes slaves and dullards of intellectuals
It's like a brain disease.
More like cancer of the brain. Eating deep into man's cognitive and intellectual capability
This has always been the root of false doctrine and deception. Laziness and lack of due diligence to read someone so simple
Lack of common sense to question what is obviously an affront against the clearly stated truth of God's word.
Religion would so make a fool of men to the extent that a man would stand up and say without tithe no man can make heaven. Another would say you should not let anyone deceive you that once saved is forever saved and that you should guard your salvation jealously and people with brains and copies of their own bibles would agree and even stand to defend such arrogance and affront against the Holy written word. That's like your pastor saying do not allow Jesus, the Bible or the Apostles deceive you that once saved is forever saved and you're stupid enough to say 'Papa has spoken'. Are we going to be wrong to call you a dummy?
I guess not!
Religion is that powerful!
But thanks be to God for the light of the gospel that shines in every dark corner of the world.
The knowledge of Christ will cover the earth as the water covers the sea
Amen

As Ronaldo kept changing clubs his pay kept increasing. How is that leaving your comfort zone??. It's like saying that someone leaving a job of 500k to 1M is leaving his comfort zone (to where exactly). Does that mean the 1M pay job is less comfortable than the 500k job??

With that logic, don't you think Messi should leave Barcelona to a higher paying Club toohuh

So which club is going to pay Messi higher than what he's receiving now at Barcelona??

Christianity EtcHow The Money Gospel Thinks by Perfectbeing(op): 3:17pm On Nov 29, 2019
The money gospel is a twin devil with the works gospel ,
They have destroyed many and will do more .
It's logic is warped and will mislead any dishonest or lazy believer.
It teaches to suit certain whims ,
What is money gospel ?
You will know by its interpretation of scriptures
Let's see a few
Ephesians 4:28 KJV
[28] Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
It will lift the phrase " that he may have to give to him that needeth "
With this interpretation you start hearing catchy statements like
" we don't work for a living ,we work for a giving "
Only to further awaken greed and avarice in parishioners ,who already are desperate .
Let's return to the text and unabashedly view the contents .
Is the scripture a " prosperity " text or a rebuke ,correction and admonition for honesty ?
If you had read the previous texts and post texts ,you could never come out with another " get Rich " sermon .
Ephesians 4:25-27,29-32 KJV
[25] Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
[27] Neither give place to the devil.
[29] Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
[30] And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31] Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32] And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Can you see?
He's teaching Christian conduct .
Verse 28 for the sake of all the Christ is simply means
You have been fraudulent ,stop it.
You are now a new creature in Christ .
Labour ,Work with your hands that which is good ,
First lesson ,start doing honest work ,don't defraud or cheat others .
Second lesson ,learn sacrifice ,love for others .
The money gospel likes the phrase " that he may have "
Whereas ,the text teaches HAVE TO GIVE TO HIM THAT IS IN NEED .
Paul warns about seeing materialism in the Gospel
1 Timothy 6:5 KJV
[5] Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Corrupt minds ,destitute of the truth ,supposing " serving the lord brings prosperity "
When this happens to our minds ,we would use that text to teach " get more money ", rather than start making honest living and show care to others .
Both actions demonstrate same thing.
Love for others .
The thief already has!
That's why he's called a thief .He has things that aren't his .
So he shouldn't be taught to have only ,but work to have to give ,work honestly .
Scriptures can't mean what it never meant .
I have seen that verse that way before,no thanks to the money gospel which has disciples in every denomination and movement ,including the " finished works crowd "
It's this mindset that again interprets
1 Timothy 6:17 KJV
[17] Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
By staying with the last phrase " gives us richly all things to enjoy "
You can stay with this phrase and build all sorts of your own preset mind from there .
Tell who likes his statements used this way !
The pretext and post text don't support using that phrase unrestricted .
1 Timothy 6:8-16 KJV
[8] And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
[9] But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
[10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
[11] But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
[12] Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. [
13] I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14] That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15] Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; [16] Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Post text
1 Timothy 6:18-19 KJV
[18] That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; [19] Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
Reading through this especially from verse 8 makes it abundantly clear that whilst paul spoke of how God gives ( which originally implies a pro/ pre action not a reaction to needs ), to ALL,richly to enjoy .
He now asked any who trusts in God to do the same !
GIVE!
Those he's teaching Timothy to instruct are already RICH,so he's not teaching prosperity but giving ,good Christian conduct ,love .
It's further debunks the " give to be rich syndrome " which is pure error .
Jesus used examples of the rich to show they / weren't aren't givers .
The rich fool
Luke 12:16-21 KJV
[16] And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: [17] And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? [18] And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. [19] And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. [20] But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? [21] So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
The rich young ruler
Mark 10:21-24 KJV
[21] Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
22] And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
[23] And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
[24] And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
Both were rich but not givers .
Also the rich man in the Lazarus story .
The target of the money gospel is to inspire greed and covetousness .
Scriptures meant for giving are being turned into " get Rich " sermons .
Let me close with one more ..
Acts 20:35 KJV
[35] I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Again imagine lifting the last phrase " it's more blessed to give ..."
Oh glory ,brethren the blessing is in the giving Bla Bla Bla ..
Then tell the parishioners ,if you want Gods blessing give !
Wow,God help us !
The term blessed was NEVER used in the New Testament for material things .
It means to "speak well of.".not " empowered to prosper " as some including myself had taught
Hence paul and peters terms
Ephesians 1:3 KJV
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
We speak good of God who has spoken well of us with all God things said of us in Christ Jesus ..
When you start to read from verse 4 you will read what he says of us in Him!
1 Corinthians 14:16-17 KJV
[16] Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
[17] For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.
Hence to bless with the spirit means to speak well of God in tongues !
Same as peter
1 Peter 1:3 KJV
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
James was more precise
James 3:9-10 KJV
[9] Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. [10] Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Words !
So go through Mathew to Revelation and see this for yourself !
Back to Acts 20:35 ,its more commended ,proper ,fortunate ,happy ,well spoken of to give and help others than take from them !
This means I am happier helping others than been helped
The pretext is this clear
Acts 20:33-34 KJV
[33] I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. [34] Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
Giving !
A minister of the gospel must flee this wrong and terrible schemes of bible interpretation
1 Timothy 6:5 KJV
[5] Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Withdraw yourself from those who have made money and influence from these errors ..
1 Timothy 6:11 KJV
[11] But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Run !
Paul warns against wanting to be rich as a focus in ministry ,you will ERR from the faith ,which refers to good doctrine ,bible teaching
1 Timothy 4:6 KJV
[6] If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
Words of faith, good teaching ,explanation ,which means there are bad explanations .
Let's be seasoned men and women in the ministry and stop this evil of material results at all and any cost in the gospel .
Hope this is clear ?
Let me know..
I call you blessed

Hope you don't mind me saying this.
I think I get where you are trying to go, but it would be more helpful if you would expand on your thoughts...like maybe provide examples to further express your point.
Perhaps give a balance...being prosperous yet understanding the true purpose of Christianity.
Riches, Wealth and prosperity were things that existed before Christ. So Christ didn't come to give mankind what they already had. Man was lacking one thing which was what Christ came to give.. Salvation is what that thing is.

Look around the world today and you'll see most of the richest and most successful people in the world of all disciplines, fields and careers and non christians and atheist. They got their wealth and success without the knowledge of Christ. Some got theirs with diligent and handwork, some with crooked and dubious means. But the keyword is that they succeded without Christ. They neither, prayed, fasted, went to church, night vigils etc for success. Same with marriages, getting visas, getting a job etc.

So you see all these things are not the reason why Jesus died.

And remember, nowhere did I say a Christian cannot or should not be rich or successful or excel in life. But the gospel isn't a means to get all these...

Christianity EtcRe: Why Catholics Pray Through Mary by Perfectbeing(m): 2:03pm On Nov 29, 2019
Mary along with all of mankind needed to believe in Jesus to be saved. Her status as the birth mother of Jesus Christ cannot save her from sin. Only faith in Christ alone can.
So it makes no sense to ask Mary to intercede on your behalf when both of you have only one way to God (Christ).

Imagine asking the mother of a gate man to help you tell her son to open a gate for you when you can ask the gate man directly..

Nowhere in the 4 gospels did Jesus ask his followers to pray to his mother for intersession... Neither in the epistles is anything like that found.

Praying to Mary, for whatever reason is unbiblical as there is no single verse in the bible to back it up
Christianity EtcDon't Have A Suitable Topic For This. by Perfectbeing(op):
Whatever an unbeliever can have an advantage over a believer in can never be the reason why Jesus died!

So getting a job, passing an exam, prosperity and riches, visas, getting married etc are not the reason Jesus came to Earth to die.

I strongly believe that Christians should prosper & excel in life. I just don't believe the gospel is the means for that. It's Not!

The United States Bullion Depository in Fort Knox, Kentucky, is a fortified building that stores 5,000 tons of gold bullion (precious metal) valued at some $137 billion dollars
and other precious items entrusted to the federal government.
Fort Knox is protected by a 22-ton door and layers of physical security:
alarms, video cameras, minefields, barbed razor wire, electric fences, armed guards, and unmarked Apache helicopters.
The vault door, which has a combination that must be entered by some 10 different staff members — none of which know anything but their part of the code, is the crown jewel of a nearly impregnable fortress.
And while this is a fantastic security measure, it’s not like anyone could ever get inside the building anyway,
what with the tanks, Apache helicopters, armed guards, fences, concrete-lined granite walls, video surveillance and alarms that all safeguard the facility.
It’s no wonder, then, that at the height of World War II, Fort Knox stored the Magna Carta, the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom, the gold reserves of several occupied European nations, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. The Gettysburg Address and the Guttenberg Bible have both reportedly been protected inside Fort Knox as well.
Based on the level of security, Fort Knox is considered one of the safest places on earth.
As safe as Fort Knox is, there's another place that's safer, and it's filled with something more precious than gold.
1 Peter 1:3-5
[God] has begotten us . . . to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.
Who are kept and guarded by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Heaven holds our gift of eternal life and eternal salvation . The apostle Peter encouraged believers in Christ to praise God because we have "a living hope"-a confident expectation that grows and gains strength the more we learn about Jesus (1 Peter 1:3).
And our hope is based on the resurrected Christ. His gift of eternal life will never come to ruin as a result of hostile forces or our own errors and sins .
It will never lose its glory or freshness, because God has been keeping and will continue to keep it safe in heaven.
No matter what harm may come to us in our life on earth, God is guarding our souls. Our inheritance is safe.
Ephesians 1:13 and 14 speaks of us being sealed with the promised Holy Spirit UNTIL THE DAY OF THE REDEMPTION OF OUR BODIES and not safe until we sin.
Like a safe within a safe, our salvation is protected by God and we're secure.
Our born again spirit is hid inside Christ inside God. Nothing that happens to us in this life can reach it.
Jesus says that no man and that includes you can snatch you out of the Father's hand because the Father is stronger than all (the Father is not just stronger than all men and powers, he is stronger than even your sins and failures in this life). He is stronger than ALL.
How does it make you feel knowing that your salvation is kept safe with God?
An inheritance in heaven is the safest possible place. This is shouting territory guys
Glory to God forever!
Amen!
Christianity EtcOn Dreams And Mysteries.. by Perfectbeing(op): 1:07am On Nov 20, 2019
Whatever you see or do when awake and have no problem with, you shouldn't have a problem seeing or doing it in the dream too.
Simple!
If you don't have a problem swimming, eating, drinking, flying in real life, why are you suddenly bothered by any of these when you do them in your dreams?
Why should seeing a common snake become a big deal when you see it in the dream whereas you see a snake when you are awake and you don't give any mysterious interpretation to it?
Why should swimming or eating become a big deal in the dream when you eat and swim every day?
Do you think you are going to die whenever you walk past where they sell caskets or whenever you see one in a burial?
Why then do you now suddenly think or believe there is imminent death for you or a loved one when you see the same casket in your dream?
And why can't you interpret seeing a casket or a burial in the dream to mean you're being reminded that you are the one who is to raise the dead?
When you see yourself dead in the dream why can't you see it as a reminder that you are dead with Christ and buried together with him?
Have you not been seeing that all over the scriptures? How come there's suddenly a problem now that you're having a vision of the same scriptures that you've been studying?
A wise and mature believer doesn't go about seeking for interpretation or meaning to his dreams. He gives meaning to his dreams instead. He is both the dreamer and the interpreter of his dreams. And his interpretation must be submissive to knowledge of the written word
You are not Pharaoh or Nebuchadnezzar who goes about seeking for interpretation for their dreams. You are not a heathen man
You are a believer!
No believer in the Bible ever had a dream and went around seeking for interpretation
A believer should be able to subject every dream he has to the knowledge of Christ
If you have a dream that seeks to exalt itself above the knowledge of Christ you are to take it captive and bring it to the obedience of Christ
2Cor 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holdswink
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Never accept as an interpretation for any dream that which brings fear, dread and anxiety
There are no fixed meanings or interpretations to dreams. Those are things you only find in fables, superstition and traditions of men
Stuff you only find in stupid dream books
The believer has the mind of Christ. He determines what becomes of any dream, trance or vision
People empower dreams that have no power by thinking on them and giving in to fear.
I hope this meets you well
Do let me know
The grace of Jesus is with your spirit
