EMILO2STAY:You know half truths are worse than lies. You know why? Cos there's an element of truth in it. And that's what most the these conspiracy theorists do. They use half truths to sell their lies. Maybe Newton really copied his works from Kabbalist Pythagoras, but he has given proofs which has been experimented on by others on the existence of gravity.. |
1Tim3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. The church is the pillar and ground of the truth, and everything done in the church must reflect the truth. Everything must be done unto edifying. To build up people and not to entertain and feed the flesh Choreography in Church is of no spiritual benefit neither to the dancer (Choreographer) nor to the spectator 1Co 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. LET ALL THINGS BE DONE UNTO EDIFYING ... FOR THE PERFECTING OF THE SAINTS , for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (Eph 4:11) Whatever is done in the church must be done unto edifying for the perfecting of the saints, and choreography falls short of spiritual edification on all grounds All it does is feed the flesh and entertain us. Come to think of it, dancing, drama and other forms of entertainment existed during the time of Christ. But it was never recorded that a dance or drama was performed before any of his sermons. It doesn't matter if the soundtrack they are dancing to is Don Moen, Hillsong or Jesus culture, it is entertainment. Choreography breeds lazy and unserious Christians : Another thing that Choreography in Church does is divert the attention of the youth from emphasis on Spiritual growth :Bible study, prayer and evangelism to the flesh I've been around Choreographers long enough to know the amount of time, money, effort and commitment spent in rehearsing and preparing for one dance presentation. These guys go through several all night, and day rehearsals just to perfect one dance Same people who would complain about all night prayer vigils in a hurry To them all night prayers are boring but dancing is exciting. Of course it excites the flesh A closer look at Choreography will show you that the best Choreographers in the world are not Christians. So you can hardly be a Choreographer and have a Christian as your model. A lot is spent on buying clothes and costumes for the dance presentation. Ask these same folks to give to the gospel, they won't I even saw a very funny title some time ago ; THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO CHOREOGRAPHY. Nothing could be further from the truth. No matter how emotional and wonderful a choreography is, it can never save a soul. No matter the song that is playing The best it can do is give birth to an emotional experience and not a new creature. I love seeing good and excellent choreographies, but not in Church Not in the house of God! Same way I love good movies but I don't go to church to see them. I go to the movies or see it at home Can a Christian be a professional Choreographer and make money from it? I'm sure it's possible. But not in the church, and no one should say his special ministry is choreography. We have no such ministry in the church of Christ. A good pastor knows how to focus on the spiritual growth of his members and not on entertainment which only feeds the flesh Don't do crusades and put in Choreography, drama and rap to attract the youths If they come in because of entertainment they will remain in the church because of entertainment You won't bring in entertainment into a crusade or conference if you truly trust the power of the gospel to save. You won't do that if you have prayed Entertainment is what people use to cover up powerlessness in Church A powerful church is a word church, it's a praying and evangelizing church. Preaching grace is not tantamount to allowing entertainment in church Let's keep it simple, let's do it by-the-book Stick to the basics of Christian worship : 1Co 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.... For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (Eph 4:12) We must put emphasis on Perfecting the saints for the work of the ministry. The fruit of ministry is more ministry Point the children and youths to diligence in Bible study, prayer and soul winning, not entertainment. We will all give account to God on what we have done with his church What will your account be? Entertainment is a work that will surely be burnt up by the fire. Leave entertainment o pastor. If not you go suffer loss o! 1Cor 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire Stay faithful sir /ma 1Cor 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. Enough said! The grace of Jesus with your spirits! The saints are triumphant still! Amen! |
EMILO2STAY:I honestly do not know how to answer that question. It's just like asking how do I know that it os oxygen that I'm breathing in? |
EMILO2STAY:Where did I say Newton formed the theory of gravity without any experiment? You said Newton's idea of gravity comes from the Jewish book of black magic called kabbalah. How did you know this? Weren't you still fed this by other people?. How can you believe that of a true they're 100% correct and Newton is wrong? |
EMILO2STAY:The word "discovery" doesn't mean he "invented" gravity. He just observed an apple falling down a tree (which obviously millions of people must have noticed during his time). He didn't stop at observing like everybody else. He did more experiments on things falling down from a height an was able to formulate a theory for his observations... The difference between Newton and others was that he was the first to put in on paper |
EMILO2STAY:What else is pushing me? An invisible person? |

Eccl 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things Does money answer all things? Was that what this verse says? As a rule of Bible interpretation, you must never take the word ALL literarily and give it an omnibus application All things cannot be all things but must be seen in the context of all that is stated in the text So let's look at our text again What are the all things that money answers? A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry or cheerful He said if you want to have laughter you could have a feast and you'll have laughter And if you want to be merry, wine can give you that And that money answers both. That is, money will give you a feast for laughter and wine for merriment So the all things that money will answer are A FEAST , LAUGHTER , WINE and MERRIMENT Notice that 'things' is actually italicised in the text. Meaning it was never there in the first place. Hence the original text actually states A FEAST IS MADE FOR LAUGHTER , AND WINE MAKETH MERRY : BUT MONEY ANSWERETH ALL THESE This would have been a much better translation. So money doesn't answer all things A stroll down the nearest hospital will confirm that. There are rich folks there whose money has become useless in healing them. So always endeavour to read in context. |
Emusan:To a layman, gravity is that force that pulls down every object with mass towards to earth surface. Is it the word "gravity" the bone of contention or the force itself (which existence can't be denied) that pulls down every object.. I want to know. |
We can argue with everything except the truth. The truth always have a way of proving itself. I can come on board and argue against gravity and probably even win a debate in my argument. I can bring all the logic and reason to prove the non-existence of gravity. But when I jump off a cliff, it is then the truth will prove itself on whether gravity do exist or not.. |
Mark 2:15 And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him. I can just imagine what the news headlines would have read for days A: Popular rabbi and self acclaimed messiah, Jesus of Nazareth found eating, drinking and enjoying himself with Especially notorious sinners, harlots and agberos B: Jesus of Nazareth, self acclaimed son of God gives license to sin.. He was seen yesterday eating and drinking with sinners and encouraging them to continue in sin that grace may abound C: Popular hyper grace preacher finally caught encouraging sinners to continue in sin. He did this by eating and drinking with them in their numbers and he didn't even invite them home, he went to their house along with his disciples and church members to encourage them to do the same And like someone said, "sinners know how to eat and enjoy themselves, and they don't serve Fanta and Coke". Do you only preach the gospel of no condemnation when it's convenient? Do you preach the same message of forgiveness of sins (past, present and future) to everybody or only to a select audience? Would you preach the same message to people in the very act of sin? How would you address a believer struggling with sin? Do you set the gospel aside first and face "reality"? Mark 2:14 As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at his tax collector’s booth. “Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Levi got up and followed him. 15 Later, Levi invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guests, along with many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. (There were many people of this kind among Jesus’ followers.) 16 But when the teachers of religious law who were Pharisees saw him eating with tax collectors and other sinners, they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with such scum?” 17 When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” If you cannot preach to a sinner whom you found in the act of sin without mentioning his sin, then you haven't preached the gospel to him. |
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. First things first, let's read the verse in it's context Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you So, In order to understand Eph 4:30 you need to read it in its context. What is the tone of the surrounding verses? What exactly was Paul teaching on there? One way to get clarity about the context of a text is to remove the particular verse and read the surrounding verses without it first and see what they are saying then insert it back again and read everything together. Now let's do that for this text Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you After reading without verse 30 what is obvious about the context? Walking in love! Paul was teaching believers to walk in love towards other believers He talks about not giving room for corrupt communication, bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, evil speaking and malice Says we should put away all these Don't be found saying stuff that will hurt your brother out of anger Then instructs us to instead be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another for Christ's sake Don't react from anger and hurt your brother with your words, rather be quick to forgive just as Christ has forgiven us So, grieving the Holy spirit is directly connected to how we treat other believers who house the Holy spirit When I grieve my brother by speaking evil of him and speaking words which do not minister grace to him I am grieving the Holy spirit also Grieving my brother is grieving the Holy spirit And grieving the Holy spirit is the same as grieving my brother Now let's see Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. And... (That is) grieve not the holy spirit And grieve not the holy spirit How? When I allow my communication to grieve my brother instead of edifying him Meaning if my communication doesn't minister grace to my hearer (my brother who is sealed with the spirit just as I am) I grieve the spirit in grieving my brother So grieving the Holy spirit has nothing to do with losing salvation or breaking fellowship with God as some have taught Clear now? You are blessed! |
There is always this tendency for folks to read 'all things ' in the scriptures and take it literally I'm sure you've heard people make 'faith confessions' like ALL THINGS are mine That house is mine That Money is mine That car is mine. How about sickness and poverty too? Are they not part of "all things"? I can do ALL THINGS through Christ that strengthens me I can win that competition I can be the best singer I can have a first class... Through Christ who strengthens me (don't go and read you will fail All things) How about 'I can rob a bank, and take your wife or become the president of America through Christ that strengthens me? And this too If God spared not his son but delivered him up for us how shall he not also give us ALL THINGS. Therefore he'll give me that car, that house, that job, my promotion, my admission The only thing that God will withhold from me is what is greater than his son Jesus Very deep! Whenever you read 'all things' in the scriptures, it is of utmost importance that you understand 'all things' in the context of all things mentioned and not literally all things. We do not have the liberty to include in 'all things' what is not part of all things All things in the bible is not a blank cheque as some say. It is bad hermeneutics to include in all things what is not specified in the all things in a particular text. Let's take a few examples of all things. 1Cor 3 [21] Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours Are all things actually ours? Context... [22] Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; [23] And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's. So how many things in all are yours here? Paul, Apollos, Cephas, the world, life, our death, things present, things to come Let's see the next text Romans 8 [28] And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose [32] He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us ALL THINGS ? I'm sure you've heard people say things like all things work together for our good. And by that they mean the death of a loved one or just about every unfortunate event you can think of. They'll quote that scripture to back it up that God is behind it or using the situation to work something good out Then of course the second camp that claim all things being available by the sacrifice of Jesus. Using verse 32 as a backup. There is wealth and prosperity in the blood. Success and excellence is there too. Your marriage is there. Maybe your Boo and Bae too Now let's see the context of all things in the above text Romans 8 [28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. [29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. [31] What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can beagainst us? [32] He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things So what are the all things that work together for our good and that God will not or did not withhold from us? Foreknowledge Predestination Conformity to the image of Christ Calling Justification Glorification Pay attention to verse 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Or what shall we say to all these things? So, verse 32 would better read .. how shall he not with him freely give us ALL THESE THINGS And this also Eph 1 [3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS in heavenly places in Christ: Oh we have all spiritual blessings in Christ. But in order to make use of them you have to pull them down into the natural. You have to convert them into natural blessings because the spiritual controls the natural. These blessings are hanging in the realm of the spirit. You have to pull them down. Some through prayer and others through sowing. It's all a charismatic sickness. It's jazz! Let's investigate the context of all spiritual blessings. Eph 1 [4] According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: [5] Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, [6] To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. [7] In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; [8] Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; [9] Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: [10] That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: [11] In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: [12] That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. So what are the all spiritual blessings in Christ here? We are chosen in him before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before him in love verse 4 Predestinated unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ according to his good pleasure. Verse 5 .. To the praise and glory of his grace, and accepted in the beloved. Verse 6 In whom we have redemption through his blood, that is the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace. Verse 7 Abounded towards us in all wisdom and prudence. Verse 8 Revelation into his will according to his good pleasure. Verse 9 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will to the praise of his glory. Verses 11&12 Sealed with the Holy spirit of promise. Verse 13. And in context also would include verses 19, his exceeding great power towards us Verse 20-23, raised up with Christ far above all principality and power, and might, and dominion and every name, all things(authority, dominion, power might) being put under his feet for us, him being the head of the church which is his body that fills all in all. All the spiritual blessings from chapter 1:3 actually goes way down to chapter 2 verse 21 in context. Most of the time chapters could be hindrances to contextual reading. That's why we ought to read the whole letter and the whole book. Lastly, let's see the context of Christ's all things in Luke 24 Luke 24 [25] Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe ALL that the prophets have spoken: [26] Ought not Christ to have suffered THESE THINGS , and to enter into his glory? [27] And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures THE THINGS CONCERNING HIMSELF So what are the ALL that the prophets spoke in verse 25? The 'these things' in verse 26, which are 'the things concerning himself' in verse 27. [44] And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that ALL THINGS must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me {What are the all things that must be fulfilled in 44? The things written in the law of Moses, and in the psalms and the prophets CONCERNING HIM. which are that Christ should suffer and rise from the dead the third day in verse 46} [46] And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: [47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Let's see elsewhere in the book of Luke how Christ defined the all things. Luke 18 [31] Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and ALL THINGS THAT ARE WRITTEN BY THE PROPHETS CONCERNING THE SON OF MAN shall be accomplished. Now don't miss this.. FOR [32] For HE SHALL BE DELIVERED UNTO THE GENTILES , AND SHALL BE MOCKED , AND SPITEFULLY ENTREATED , AND SPITTED ON : [33] AND THEY SHALL SCOURGE HIM , AND PUT HIM TO DEATH : AND THE THIRD DAY HE SHALL RISE AGAIN . Those are the all things. Jesus put the all things as the things about his death, burial and resurrection. Which are the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow. I call you blessed. I hope you find this a helpful aid and guide in your study |
