Badgers14: You could learn to make your point without ridiculing yourself- check your first sentence.
Nigeria is a blessed country, if you read my post very well, I mentioned plus other natural resources that Nigeria have and I will like to add agricultural products to the mix as well.
Nigeria have a huge population and God the creator gave them resources to fend for herselves but corruption will not let then.
The country gave up on Agriculture that was once our #1 source of income as a country, then faced oil, other industries were almost abandoned.. Even the oil self, neither of the government owned refineries are working in full capacity even with all the money earmarked for the project since Obasanjo's regime.
There's money to fix whatever needs to be fixed in Nigeria, Nigeria is not poor.
My conversation with Mr. Abdulwastecx was about the duration of the 2nd Niger bridge project.. a project of that small magnitude of less than 2 miles should have taken this long to complete. The reason for the refinery collapse is subsidy. Until subsidy is completely removed, we are all wasting our time. |

The Easternerners that have been complaining of marginalisation, that the federal governments don't build infrastructures in their region are now the ones saying infrastructures are not important and they don't drive and economy just because Peter Obi said so. Is God not wonderful?
If a wealthy foreign business man wants to invest his billions in Nigeria and he wants maximum ROI, would he invest in States filled with farmers and producers or states where there are infrastructures? |

Badgers14: Sir, we are talking about a bridge spanning 1.6km. Less than 2 miles of bridge.
And Nigeria is not a poor country. Corruption made it poor.
The same oil in UAE , Saudi , Qatar etc.. is the same Oil in Nigeria.
Plus other natural resources we have those countries don't have. Stop being myopic and stop talking out of emotions. I'm not trying to justify the foolishness of our politicians but y'all should stop comparing UAE and Qatar with Nigeria. Those countries has the same or more deposit of oil in a smaller area and with a very small population. Qatar for example is a country with a landmass of 11,500km² has less than 3 million citizen but yet produce almost 2 million barrels of oil per day. Nigeria landmass is 924,000km² (that's times 80 of Qatar's landmass), with over 200 million people but yet produce about 1.2 million barrels per day. How would you compare both countries? That's like comparing a man that earns 1 million monthly but has 4 wives and 15 children with a man that earns 5 million monthly but has 1 wife and 3 children. |

bishopkay: No! We are not saying roads should not be done. After all, Peter Obi as governor, linked all the rural towns in Anambra by road to the center.
We are saying develop your people and some of these things government waste money on, they will handle it efficiently and not waste or spoil them. Education is one of such ways to do that.
Building skyscrapers that enlarge the gap between the rich and poor in society is only a recipe for doom! Let me give you one example. You have a few millions to invest in a barber shop in your area. Would you invest in boys to go and learn how to barb hair before you build the barber shop? What would be the essence of their skill when they don't even have a clipper to work with? |

logicalhumour: Are you a farmer? No? Well, that's what I thought. Now, listen to a Benue boy educate you on farming in Nigeria.
- First of all, lemme break it to you that "good roads" aiding transportation is just a secondary school business studies meme. No matter how rugged a road is, our trucks will pass.
- Silos you say. If we encourage producing so much rice —more than we can consume, do you finding a way to store it will be a problem? Only the revenue generated from exporting it can handle the needed storage facilities (and once again, production gives birth to infrastructure)
- Communication You're kidding, right? Don't get me started.
- Bridges, railways, "infrastructure is key"
Of course, infrastructure is key, however, the question is, should it be prioritised over production? So you agree with Peter Obi with your full chest that infrastructures does not drive an economy? Imagine Buhari coming on National TV and say Infrastructures don't drive an economy. Would you praise him or insult his generation? |

PresidObi: The best way to improve the economy is to create enabling environment for the masses to take over productive ventures and make profit, then pay tax.
Enabling environment like easy loans, stable interest rates, strong security, etc And what is the use of the loans you invest in your farm when there are no good roads to transport the products to consumers? Is steady power supply not also one of the "enabling environment" too? Are dams and power stations not infrastructures? You guys honestly don't know what you want. |

This is Nigeria, she could bribe her friends to witness against you that you said you didn't want the pregnancy immediately after confirming it.
She could bribe to get doctor's report that the said foetus died as a result of some complications that pose a threat to her health. (Remember that a doctor did the abortion o and won't want the problem escalated to him or her). Well, it all largely depends on what she says in the audio. Infact, some ladies, if they buy expensive clothes, bag or hairdos, all their mind would be how to get triple of the money from guys. Guys who are not your daddy, uncle or brother. As if it was guy who forced her to go for what she couldn't afford.
If all ur mind and mentality tailored towards getting money from guys at all cost, why won't you be victim of such relationship.
If you can see what Yahoo boy/rich guys normally subjected some ladies to, you will weep for this generation. As much as you're right, it is unfair to blame the victim and not the perpetuator.
