does that justify killing of unarmed protesters and flouting of court orders?
Its funny how you lots come here to spew trash to justify what suites you under the "rule of law",let wait and see how nigeria fairs,if kanu dies.....nigeria is just over hyped!
Please don't get me wrong, I do not support harmless protesters being killed and I'm also for the rule of law. What I'm against is threatening the Nigeria state based on just hatred. What has has happen to the nidigbo that has not happened to other tribe. What treatment has been melted on igbo by the Nigeria state that warrants all this? Have they been denied their allocations or entitlements? The answer is N0 Has the governors of the igbo states performed above board, have they governed in a manner that we would ascribe the limitation to the Nigeria Nation? The answer is NO.
When it comes to corruption and sharing money nobody said Dasuki is an Hausa man so I won't collect from him, everybody irrespective of tribe went happily to him and collected. That tells us how selfish we can be and now someone is here shouting biafra.
Politics › Re: Before Kanu Is Tortured To Death by pharmagba: 6:37pm On Jan 24, 2016
I can really see from your writeup that you are pained by the continued incarceration of Kanu, but this bitterness and hatred of Buhari and Nigeria is not the way out.
In as much as I don't want kanu to die in prison, if he dies Nigeria will remain an wax stronger nothing will happen apart from few days of protest and then every body goes back to look for the daily bread.
Permit me to see along this line as all I see in this Biafra is bitterness, hatred and sulking from the agitators. Because GEJ lost Biafra became an issue, I bet you if Ojukwu were to be alive he would have delivered so re awakening slaps on Kanu to come to his senses.
Ojukwu fought for a just and noble cause, despite this he new when to drop the arm because he couldn't see his people dying. This Kanu does not give a hood about any igbo man, just a spoilt uncultured brat used by few and maybe enemies of Nigeria to make Noise.

I can never submit/love a love man.

If age has passed me by, I can manage a good looking poor man to marry, but, submitting to him is out of the question.
I don't know your age but I feel you are unmarried and below 30years.
For women love and submission comes when you meet a man that has got what you desire. You find yourself pleasing him and even believing completely.
If you doubt me ask older ladies. It is when the man doesn't fulfil their desires that resentment and rebellion set in.

He doesn't need to say it loud...
In as much as I'm almost tempted to agree with you I saw from Okorocha angle
1- Kanu never made consultation with prominent Igbo leader before he commerce his activities
2-Most Igbo that are supporting Kanu is purely borne out of hate for Buhari and Yoruba tribe. It is always going to be difficult for any igbo man or woman who doesn't hate Buhari or Yoruba tribe to support him
3- Kanu has shown he is not cultured in Africa politics. Using un cultured language to anybody if not acceptable even on Okorocha and all igbo ladies shows his lack of love from those he claims too be fighting for.

Foolish piece by a foolish defender of corruption. If judges recieve bribe then it means they havr acted in a way that is corrupt, this means they have a case to answer. Simple. About the Financial Audit Department not doing their work and holding Santasuki well the foolish author should ask clueless Jonathan why nothing worked under him.
If I may add to yours. I'll say the writer of this thread is an informed personality from the currupt class.
1- blaming anticorrupion fight solely on fall oil price
2- he see nothing wrong in corruption and currupt judges
3- trying to point the blame of corruption on every other except GEJ
With his kind still on the loose President Buhari still has lots of work on his shoulders

Nigeria should swallow her pride and appoint okonjo iweala. we need her now more than ever. our current finance minister is clueless and daft. we all know that Igbos are naturally good managers and we also know what happened to the companies that fell victim indigenization policy. professionalism should supersede tribalism and party.

Ogun economy is not thesame with Nigeria's economy.
Nonsense! what if okonjo is dead then we can't move on in our finance ministry?
In Kemi I see the best finace minister that will ever emerge.

my brother what of other countries that don't have oil? What is the economic road map of this administration. What of all the money nigeria has made since buhari took over. The problem is not fund.
From what you wrote you don't still get it. Let me explain
For other countries without oil, they either trade other raw materials, agric products, finished goods etc for economic funds. In the absence of this they have an efficient tax system. In Nigeria, this is not so and also lots of lope holes everywhere.
Getting started needs lots of funds which oil had it been able to cushin but not available and other sources of income are comatose.
Eg you own a company and have say 10staffs and you produce say pure water and sell 100 pure water per day and sell at N5, and this is your only source income. Now demand forces the price of pure water to N1 and also production reduces to say 30bags. In order to retain and pay your staff what will you do? The answer is diversification which needs capital funding, now funds are not available what do you do? The wisest thing to do is to get you money anywhere you have them. For Nigeria fighting corruption will get us the needed funds and in quick time.
I hope you get the point

candiva2013:
You obviously do not understand what i mean by lack of wisdom here. The government has to take things one a time, they are not supposed to fight everybody at once. The masses are suffering due to lack of good economic policies, evey other sector is on standstill. They can't be fighting even those who are capable of puting up a significant fight against the government at the moment. That is not what is needed now. You said they are fighting corruption simply because they are accusing everybody and quoting figures, yet no good case has been established yet in the court of law. Are you supposed to close down your business simply because your were robbed? The economy is going down and yet nothing tangible is being done. They should not give this there corruption fight 100 per cent of there attention.
Again I beg to disagree
In all the battle this administration is fighting behind it is corruption and behind all this economic downturn is because we are not selling what other nations in the world needs except for oil.
Now oil price is going down hence need to diversify hence need to engage in capital and infrastructure development first.
Now the issue is there is no funds, the wisest thing to do is to fight corruption and recover money to start. It is like a business man who has q lot of creditors and need money the best ecomic thing to do is to go after his creditors and defaulters aggressively. This is what is happening but ironically in our case it is not creditors but corruption. corruption in Nigeria is like an octopus with many tentacles that is what you are seeing to survive means to engage all the tentacles at once to survive

Stop trying to appeal to sentiments, the fact that innocent lives were lost and many others displaced does not mean the scam allegations are real, if in doubt tell EFCC to tender that as an evidence in court. This is why I see this whole thing as a sham and a media trial, all APC wanna do is appeal to the sentiments of nigerians and use that as an excuse to haunt perceived enemies.

Guy wise up, you are acting according to a pre-written script. I hope e go clear for your eye soonest
Are you saying $2.1m was not appropriated for arms procurement? Are you saying the NSA is the chief money disbursement office of the federation.? You are the one wiping sentiment here. Due processes and lives seems to mean less just for sentiments? Have you ever thought for a second why the payment was not made through the office of finance? Because Okonjo knows and didn't want part. Even the PDP leadership knows and are begging all who have collected money from the NSA for political reasons to return it. The military brass also know it is true. You seems to be the only one in doubt.
My brother Nigeria will be great again
Politics › Re: Alleged $2.1bn Arms Deal Scam: Why Goodluck Jonathan's Silence Is Still Golden by pharmagba:
Before the commencement of the arrest GEJ visited Aso rock and what he told PMB was that he was not aware of large scale looting perpetuated in his administration and PMB make it clear he will get to the root
For GEJ to come out now will mean he actually knew and lied to earlier exonorate himself. Hence his Golden silence is necessary and in order.
If he had said he didn't know about it, he need not talk except it is otherwise found to be true.
Furthermore the $2.1 is real, it was money appropriated for arms which the last administration misapprioaprated. Please let note innocent lives lost, we lost soliders (that is why investigation of military chiefs is justifiable, they ought to understand better yet their were quick to pass death sentence on the soldiers)
Please let remove sentiment and stand for a great Nigeria. Just imagine your loved one or bread winner had died because he was forced to the war front ill-equipped how will you feel or imagine you are engineer told to climb a tower with a bad ladder or a banker told to count billions of note without a machine yet you will be punished for errors.

People sit on their bench in their houses and type crap without information, the only thing you know about customs iscthat they wear ash,and they are found in the border or airport,or your perspective is coming from a very selfish angle.Customs generate the highest revenue in this country yet the newly started Civil defence has a better salary structure and administration than the customs.
The customs service does not have a welfare system,no provision for healthcare, schools, cooperative society. The customs transfer without providing accomodation or housing, they have the least number barracks in the country. The customs promotion, transfer, are all luxury,Pension, death benefits are paid between 4yrs and above, not within months of retirement or demise, so what are you talking about?for a revenue generating body is their welfare suppose to be so poor?if yes, then the motivation is corruption.
Al you wropte is correct but let me add, do you know why nothing has been done so far? It is because those custom officers have personal incentive and welfare packages for themselves greater than any provision will carter for.
Now the chicken has come home to roost.

Everybody MUST be probed if the nation wants to really move forward. Probing some people and leaving others would lead us nowhere. No nation excel on selective justice.
It don't think it is selective justice. This govt needs money to put Nigeria back of socio- economic development track and very fast. Now the wise thing to do is
1- see recent case of corruption with high chances of recovery. The Dasukigate is no 1 as all this sharing occurred btw last year and now and all participant are alive and kicking
2- recover FG money as this will go directly back to FG purse will they can have access to use
I think the cry of selective justice is just from people who do not wish this administration or Nigeria well. The FG must prioritise it income drive and channel it's energy appropriately to be able to give Nigeria dividend in shortest possible time.
This fight against corruption will eventually reach all and sundry even as the EFCC, get stronger as an institution with success in this current activity

Even the Americans agree the S-400 is the most sophisticated surface to air missile yet. The patriot missile has got nothing on this. With the deployment of the S-400,the Russians have invariably taken over Syrian airspace. All other players in the Syrian war would have to give advance warnings to the Russians before they embark on their sorties. Shít just got real
Completely agree with your assessment, I feel the Americans are jealous or rather unhappy with the Russian initiatives, they must have embolden the turks to shoot down the Russian jet, they wanted to test the will of Russian knowing Turkey is part of NATO and a strike on Turkey is a strike on NATO.
Now NATO members may be divided as they will believe that a good war in Syria will help the anti terrorism cause, observed that non except the American had said it is standing by turkey. Expect so bombs in turkey, don't be surprised if the Russian claim is a mistake. This act will not go unpunished.

With what happened in France last week, the European union will support Russian in its fight in Syria.
Let me tell you what will happen in the following weeks 1- Russian will hit Syria the harder 2- some key military installation in Turkey will go up in flames 3-the Americans will have to be humbled by the role Russia will be leading on war against terrorism, they will have to openly support Russia but their mind will not support
