Hmmmmm |
This is good but I will continued to advocate for long term measure that can solve our food shortage forever. Invest in massive plantation across all regions. Until then, we will continued to find ourselves in this discourse. |
Concerning another power project up north? SMH. |
We need two projects of this magnitude in each region to be confident of uninterrupted power supply and that should be our focus. |
Good but priorituze consumable crops more than commercial ones for now until food security is attained and sustained. |
Noted |
RayRay06677:FOR one that's still an MOU with the project yet to start. To get the place running there has to be facilities procurement which hasn't yet get underway and being a training facility, it may suffer the same faith others before it did due to poor management and improper maintenance devotion either from the government or the facility administration. The design is often viewed by the managers as just training facility aimed to bring forth modern farmers and not always treated as investment that's geared towards food sustainance and profit generation. Even if it's not generating profit, it should be able to run itself by the revenue the sales of the farm products but that's not often the case (as government was always still required to pump in more money after few years as exemplified by the ones previously started in NIGERIA)hence they went moribund. I expect serious farming system designed for sustainable food security and revenue generation from the governments/governors. |
Hopefully so |
Well, sit tight DALUNG, your response is cooling off somewhere in the future. |
Another short term measure. All the governors have to stand up firm for their citizens now by dedicating some vast piece of land for plantation of essential crops the state needs in massive proportion for short and long term solution because for many reasons, some of which have unfolded already, we can't continue to rely on the north for our food supply. |
The problems of this country hinged on greed and selfishness. Cement was considerably cheap until border was shut to help local producers and then, prices began skyrocketing till it's almost costlier than the imported. Same has happened to rice, wheat and other farm produce we once imported but are now banned. It seemed we have more greed in our DNA than the aspiration for the wellbeing of our fellow countrymen. But that's a sad reality. |

Another step forward GOD BLESS ASIWAJU TINUBU GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS WESTERN NIGERIA TOO WE RISE! |
Good one from LASG. FireUpNow:Be careful, lest your sentiment keeps portraying you as d*mb. So because robbery can happen anywhere makes it unnecessary to you to put them perpetrators off their hidden world? You must be a special breed! virginchaser:Oshodi can work too, it just require a dedicated and special approach. And we need such dedicated commissioner who would give it everything it takes FireUpNow:If the response I gave upthere is your classification of dvmb, then it's either you're helplessly and truly dvmb or that the ENGLISH DICTIONARY has updated the meaning overnight. Better change your ways now before it becomes trait you passes onto your children. A word is enough for the wise. Oh! Pardon me, I guess you may not need it afterall. |
Another short term measure. What happens to securing thousands of hectares of land for farming of essential crops with highly mechanized system coupled with high yielding seeds? |
The worst enemies of this country are actually the citizens in it. Everyone keeps contributing his/er best towards the decay either wittingly or unwittingly. |
crackhouse:IS it the same competence that made the whole of IGBOLAND practically voted for a candidate, their son? Or the same one that push everybody voting for anything LP especially in his home state ANAMBRA? They even took the madn3ss to Lagos where they blindly installed unknown bike rider over a constituency under LP umbrella and also pushed to install a toxic CHINEDU who had verbally proclaimed hate against our persons, tribes, states, heritage, culture and belief. Better forget it, the wind's blown the lid off the bias already. Just don't call out others by 2027 election when they reciprocate what you taught them. Good night |
crackhouse:THEN THAT MEANS ANAMBRA ARE THE GUILTY LOTS OF THE BLAME THEY MISCHIEVOUSLY PASS ONTO OTHER TRIBES. YOU JUST CONFIRMED IT THAT THEY VOTED BLINDLY ON ANYTHING LP BECAUSE OBI, THEIR SON, WAS THE FACE, AND THAT IT'S NOT ABOUT COMPETENCE. THEY SURELY WERE TRIBALLY DRIVEN. GBAM. |
And these are the LP and their tribesmen whom they christian as the messiah and whom they can't seem to call out because those leaders obviously could do no wrong. Heaven knows how many times the apologists of such party and people had criticized the APC, PDP and their representatives down the western NIGERIA on projects and performance far better than whatever their leaders provide. NIGERIANS dodged a deadly missile the last election. |
Good one we are returning back onto the upward trend but the figure posed is still not good enough. For a nation that clamours for manufacturing and production upgrade, we should be doing better than this. GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE WE RISE. |
The problem is the mob are damn too sentimental to be objective and see everything in the shape of just today. They don't care ABOUT BETTER AND SECURE FUTURE and expect miraculous change from the rots of decades. THE LAGOS WE TOLD THEM IS BUILT BY TINUBU WAS TRANSFORMED OVERTIME (with the transformation still ongoing) NOT CONJURED UP INTO WHAT IT IS INSTANTLY WITH A MAGIC WAND. We know the Asiwaju we put there and by GOD's grace, he will deliver the goodies. |
Seyi law, be careful with these people o, make dem no come commit suicide in your name. Dem curse, taunt, wail, sabotage and do everything they can, yet you told them you won't change as a realist. Wetin you want make dem do again? They want their fraud in too now so biko, stop this neck-pressing. Let the wailers breath! |
^^^^^ WHY not tell us how Lagos was a farmland before Nigeria discover it? AND remember to add how FG magically built the seaport that's transported slaves, good overseas before your forefathers who sat for the amalgamation of NIGERIA were born? Don't also forget to include the FG government that's constructed numerous schools in Lagos before the 1850 and how such government had conjured miracles from heaven to laid rail lines as far back as 1898, laid undersea cable from UK for telecommunication which came a year later as well as establishing numerous health facilities including the psychiatric, got in the famous Backlay bank as far as mid1850, put in BRT as early as 1900, built Carter bridge around the same time and built the famous Lagos airport (later renamed Murtala Mohammed Airport)during the period WWII was underway, when the ones who might've been born amongst them (independence fighters) were still in their preteens? Hope your FG tells you that the Lagos you attributed its development to them was one of the fastest developing and most famous colony with its own BRT transportation system developed in line with London transport system, its own post office system, and tarred road networks before the amalgamation of Nigeria or are you just hearing that too? SMH! OUR SCHOOL JUST KEEP PRODUCING CONFIRMED NITWIT. Anyway, that the EUROPEANS met some people's forefathers butt nakedd doesn't mean others weren't leaving in a decent society while the said EUROPEANS came upon them. Or do you want receipt for that too? |
osaosa72:Jokes of the twenty-first century. Why not tell us he's the one constructing all the roads across the federation? One thing I know is, the most fool!sh individual is one who revel in false fulfilment in hope of decieving others. |
Ozommadu:IF the FG built seaport and airport, the ones that had been operating before NIGERIA came about, where did they disappeared to? And you mentioned multinational, did you know how many of them predated your amalgamation (let alone independence)that had to leave because of your FG erratic policies? Do you check establishment of some many facilities the state has before going on the dumb and stvpid claim of FG development of Lagos? Didn't FG/amalgamation met Lagos with functional train service, numerous health facilities, numerous schools and vastly educated populace, functional telecommunication system with its own undersea cable from far away UK as early as 1890s, post offices, supermarket and superstores, cinema, stadium, bridge, grand church, good road network, BRT system, etc? Does the change of ownership to NIGERIAN change their founding and/or establishment dates? SMH! I guess the cheap education Nigeria offers had only produces half-wit graduates who are alien to research and are easily misled. That the EUROPEANS met your forefathers naked in wilderness doesn't mean they met others the same way. Some people were already running a decent society then and quickly transformed while the white captured and managed such society. Nigeria met Lagos as one of the fastest developing and famous colony in the whole of Africa, go find out. |
Reserves comment but then, kudos to Bayo. |
Hmmmmm! |
The irony is the citizens of this state would still come online in near future to falsely claim they're yet to see what SANWO OLU is doing in office WHILE THEIR LEADER IS RELAXING WITH NO TANGIBLE PROJECT UNDERWAY AND NO ONE CARE TO CALL HIM OUT. INDEED, Edo can't be and won't match Lagos. |
That's good news |
Ebukamatth:45 na hin Lagos age. He no bring the other age come as the thing refuse to cross River Niger. So cut him some slacks. |
