I am very disappointed and at the same time amazed at the way people are comparing Lagos with other states and giving the glory of the development in Lagos to Tinubu. It's very unfair to those states for the following reasons;. 1. Lagos have the luck of being a Colony of the British Government and the British had already developed where the lived like Ikoyi, Victoria Island and part of the Lagos Island e.g Onikan, Obalende and Alagbo. All these areas were already planned and maintained. Or can any tell me of any additional road opened up or added to these areas. Which school or health centre did Tinubu established in these areas. 2. The other developed area is Ikeja. The Ikeja Master Plan was done by Awolowo during the Western Region Era. Wema Board Industrial Estate, Ilupeju Industrial Estate and Oko Oba Farm Settlement ware planned and developed during that time with all road tarred. The Military added to the development and maintained the infrastructures. Jakande expanded the development with the Construction of Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja General Hospital, LTV 8, Lagos Radio, Lagos Press, Ogba Medium Housing Estate etc. As a matter of fact Jakande opened up Ogba and Opebi which were forest within the City. All public Schools and Health facilities were in these areas were established by Jakande. The Iju Water Works which was built by the British to serve the Colonial Masters which led to the protest by the Indigenous Lagosians when the Colonial Masters decided to Tax the residents on the Island for water rates was expanded by Jakande and Adiyan Water Works was added to increase the volume of water produced in order to extend water supply to other parts of Lagos State. I will also like to ask for which infrastructure or facilities did Tinubu add to these areas mentioned. The military also linked all these areas with the Construction of Oregun Link Bridge, Opebi Link Bridge by Sharaton Hotel, General Hospital Bridge, Ikeja ( Oba Akran) Bridge, Linking Ogba to Ojodu Berger to assess the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. 3. Surulere was developed by the Military both Federal and State Governments and Jakande. The first developed which still stands till date was the Construction of Low Cost Housing Estate which the Local called Onilegogoro by Mobolaji Johnson and the Eric More Towers. The residents who were displaced by the Construction of Queen Elizabeth Road now Nnamdi Azikiwe road were moved to Oluwole Low Cost Housing Estate Surulere while the Federal Government housed the Federal Civil Servants in Eric More Tower. Mobolaji Johnson also built Medium Houses and located land to individuals in Bode Thomas Areas and Adeniran Ogunsanya. He also built Adeniran Ogunsanya Shopping Complex which had appropriated to whom you should all know where the Surulere Shopprite now stands. The Eric More Industrial Estate was also established by Jakande in Surulere. I also ask, which development in terms of Infrastructures and Facilities did Tinubu added to these areas. The National Stadium was there since the '70s and the expansion of the Teslim Balogun was started by Marwa. 4. I need not to remind us that Jakande opened up the Lekki Peninsula area with the Victoria Island- Epe Expressway and allocation of Farmlands to people because the area up to Epe was supposed to be Agric areas but it was Tinubu that started converting the Agriculture Certificates of Occupancy to Estate with fiat, hence the springing up of Estates in these areas. Jakande also built Low Cost Housing Estates at Ilasan/ Ikota, Otedola started the Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate in Ogombo and was completed by Tinubu. Marwa built the Lateef Ojikutu Medium Housing Estate, Ilasan. Raji Rasaki demolished Maroko to reclaim the land for the Oniru Family. Hence the development of this axis started long before Tinubu but the major beneficiary of the development of the area is Tinubu and not the indegines nor the masses. 4. The Atlantic City like the Lekki Free Trade Zone are Federal Government Consention Projects. The Ocean Protection work was started with the Federal Ecology Funds and along the line because of treat to the Changuri's Investment in Eko Hotel they came up with the proposal for the land reclamation which the Federal Government approved. The Lagos State Government got involved because of the Constitution Rights to the issues of Land Titles and Building approval. But to the Knowledge of some of us you will never get those approvals in Lagos State without Him getting a share of the cake. Same with the FTZ. The Federal Government approved the establishment of the Zone base on the submission of visibility studies. Then the States provide the land. FTZ are to be established in all States. Most States have more than one. Ogun State has Two already established and functioning at Agbara and Ishagamu. Back to the reason why it's not fair to other States Governors to say Tinubu Performed better than them. Most States met almost nothing on ground interns of Infrastructures and Developments while Tinubu met a developed states with infrastructures and added almost nothing except the Governor's after him. The records are there. SomeTinubu contemporaries who served the same period as Governors performed better than him. For example, when Tinubu was driving Manufacturers away from Lagos with multiple Taxes and making it difficult to get Titles for their lands, Ogun State provide the enabling environment for them to relocate to Ogun States. Can anyone compare the benefits of the establishment of OPIC and allocation of both Industrial and residential parcels of land to the masses in terms development to whatever may be attributed to Tinubu in Lagos State. Multinational Industries all relocated from Lagos to Ogun State during Tinubu. Tinubu reduced Lagos State to the state of Commerce only and we are only able to survive because of the Ports in Lagos. I took time to write all the above because some people who came to Lagos on the invitation of Tinubu are rewriting the history of the development of Lagos to deceive the Public. The Labour of our past Heroes, Like Mobilaji Johnson, Mudashiru Lawal, Alh. Lateef Jakande and others still alive who have contributed to the development of Lagos will never be rubbished. Amen.

Former Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, has allegedly accused the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of being a chronic liar, saying that he left a rotten Lagos for him to repair. He said all that people see booming in Lagos today was his handwork.

In a viral leaked statement credited to the former Lagos State Governor, Ambode challenged Tinubu to come out on National TV and tell Nigerians about Projects initiated and completed by him during his time as Governor of Lagos State.

He also alleged that Tinubu plotted his removal as Governor because he refused to pay him N50bn and $5m monthly as requested.

He said, "I was removed as a governor because this same Tinubu wanted me to be paying him N50b in Naira and 5$m each month from Lagos revenue, I asked him where will I get the money from, I told him I have Lagos to fix and not his family to feed, he told me I will hear from him in the next election, that was how my removal started.

"I closed down many Tinubu “Toll Gate” so that Lagosians can be free from paying too much Toll gate fee because everywhere was full of Tinubu Toll Gates. Coming in, you pay, going out you pay, it was much. I was fighting for Lagos people on a low key while trying not to let the public know what was going on.

He called on Nigerians to make their choices wisely in the upcoming general elections in 2023.

"For the record, Tinubu never started a single project in Lagos, not even half, if he said am lying, let him call me out on National TV and I will answer with my full self, I wanted to keep mute with all his lying going on, but I think Nigerians needs to hear the truth and vote wisely this time.

Please i need ur help. Am having challenges in area of relationship. I have the problem of ending up with men who are nothing but gold diggers. They seem good from the start but before a few months, they will turn into pests.

I dont know what is responsible for this. I just need a man who ll love me on the basis of who i am not what i have. I am from a well to do family, I am the only daughter of my parents and my dad is late, I actually inherited quite a lot and initially it seemed like a blessing until I got older.

All the Guys i ve met so far re fake displaying fake love just to get hold of what is in my possession. I will give you a little insight so you can understand what I am going tru. Around 2013, my then fiance kidnapped himself and because i already knew he was too needy and then their was a lot of inconsistencies in the story so i ignored the kidnappers who were demanding for 700k ransom. The guys showed up 2 weeks later fuming without any injuries or even shedding any weight


He was ranting and saying all sorts like how wicked i was and how i abandoned him to die. I had to break it off immediately because he was beginning to sound like i was his mother and father joined together. The next relationship went quite the same way.


The guy sold my car and came up with stories of how he was robbed at onipanu by palm-grove. unfortunately for him, i had a tracker which had its own inbuilt battery, so when they disconnected the car battery thinking they have disabled the tracker, they gaffed. the car was subsequently tracked down to shagamu at a hotel managed by his cousin. these are just the few recent ones.

There are many more experiences that i wouldn’t bother you with but I am tired. the worst is that some will even want to move in with me because of the comfort of my place. Its really frustrating. My mum said i should stop driving but its nearly impossible for me to get around lagos without a car.


I simply stopped using the big cars and got a Toyota matrix and i even had to drive myself so it dosnt look like i am the one attracting the wrong men and scaring away the good ones yet i haven’t been lucky.


I am not looking for a millionaire, I just want a man with a little dignity and value not the ones who will start demanding for loans or come up with stories within months of how their visa was stuck or how their mother was diabetic and needed money for blood transfusion. I have heard a lot of such stories and i am tired.


I dont know if my mum is right that i am scaring away the right ones with my lifestyle. Honestly, i dont even live flamboyantly neither do I club. I am in my early 30’s and i really need to settle down.

I don't know while I find it difficult to quote female but I will try to tell you something that will help you to find solution to this problem. Be yourself, leave a simple life, be kind to people around you, let your next suitor know your do and don't. If possible don't let him know your worth. Rent a room self contain. Don't take him to your main house. Listen to a genius complain from your partner and also make sure he's generous. Don't be forward. Know everything about him. Lastly change your circle or environment if necessary

It was estimated that the presidential entourage of over 100 delegates from Nigeria to the present UN general Assembly was the highest in the history of the assembly it self. It was also estimated that each delegate will cost the government not less than 10 million naira in estacodes and other allowances. At this critical time of economic hardship, spending billions of naira to take more than 100 delegates to an assembly where the president is the only relevant person speaks volumes to the ineptitude of the government. It is such a shame that the same government with such embezzlement audacity continues to tell Nigerians that there is no money to fund education.
