This is what might be called '-African enigma, it just like in medicine, we have all type from every conner of the globe to our Country, yes they are just- Medicine but when we get African cocotion mix up of whatever means or ways , we call "-Alternative Medicine, now the question is why is - alternative? , medicine is medicine inrespective of who made it.

I think African need to school their mind and recognized who they really are in the first place before anyone can take them seriously..l remain Afro- Optimist, no matter what any one says about Africans.

The power of Attitude can be found in (Proverb 23; 6-7) of which it can make us or break us, and can heal us or hurt us. The same is true, that it can make us friends or can make us enemies. It can make us happy or miserable or make us a success or a failure in the journey of life. It is also true, that often times, the whole world stinks, but however, there is a narratives that says, about the cranking grandpa, who lay down to take a nap. But to have a little fun, the grandson has to put some Limburger cheese on his mustache, just right under his nose.

But when grandpa finally wake up, he shouted as loud as he could, -“the whole house stink !. He could not stop there; he shouted more loudly, the whole world stinks. But you know what the truth is, that it was grandpa who stunk or who is stinking. Simply because the problem was right under his nose.

The same is true, that when we think or feel that things in life stunk, the problem is not with the world or others but right within us, due to our attitude that has become so negative. Because the moment we change our attitude to negative the whole world stinks but when we have a positive attitude, the whole world changes and no longer stinks. Now, how important is our attitude? Really, our attitude is more important than facts, circumstances, and what other may say about us at given time.

The same is true, it is more important than our past, than our education and money. But we must understand that our attitude is much deeper than just a few of our thought or what we might think. Because our attitude comes from the very core of our being and it represent our disposition, our outlook and indeed, our character. This is because, our attitude often reveals who we really are according to (Proverb 23; 7) “For as man thinks in his heart, so he is… (NKJV).

It is self-evidence that it is not always easy when the stuff of life take a knock on us and to even kick one in the stomach. But at any such time, we must remember that there is nothing that any type of situation can take away from you, and that is the power to choose your own attitude any given moment . The very idea to blame our bad attitude on others or on a difficult circumstance is but a false claim and lame excuse.

The truth is that we must be on guide not to allow any event and people to cause us to put up with a negative attitude, otherwise, we only hurt ourselves the more with the effect and misery our bad attitude may bring with it. And make no mistake, that the awesome power to manipulate or choose our attitude of which our values play a role , is always the first thing in our disposition at any given moment .

It is clear there are varieties of definition for attitude, which seems to center around the notion that evolves measuring of people, issues and objects etc. This measurement often center on two components which are cognitive and affective - (values and beliefs). Our values and beliefs is a combination of cognitive component. And these components often give us a long range, or persistent measurement for dealing with the environment we find ourselves. (Bootzin, 1983).

By values, we mean the ideas about the worth and importance of concept, things and people that emanate from personal beliefs system. As it were, value is one of the components of attitude, because it assists to determine how individual will act to weigh the importance of various alternatives. And indeed, individual of whatever categories have different level of attitude that can be accessed through involvement in the performance of any assigned responsibility at any given time.

Therefore, an attitude tends to pave the way for behavioral action which ultimately can influence productivity to enhance a viable development. It is also true that attitude and productivity tends to be studied to have being found to have various factors responsible for some level of relationship. It is argued that attitude tends to be favorable when some level of affection, recognition, friendliness and freedom are allowed to enhance productivity.

[b][/b] But where this is ignored, there emanate a low moral with low productivity that may becomes the common theme, although, may not be outwardly put on display but may remain a hindrance. The same is true that any unfavorable attitude can also result to a poor relationship with lack of recognition, inequality, undeveloped and insecurity.

It must be emphasized that any individual with lack of satisfaction in an environment could be as a result of lack of ethical value and standard that may inhibit some level of attitude detrimental to productivity and development. It is also true, that when productivity and development are adversely affected, any form of advancement with aim and objective could also come to suffer. It is pertinent to note that favorable or unfavorable ethical values, as the case maybe, must have some lay down procedures and standard, to establish the guideline of conduct, attitude and behavior in the system.

Therefore, the successes of any system or society come to depend to a large extent of the attitudinal factor towards increasing productivity and development. Of cause, self -discipline is called into question here, because it assists in developing certain principle in guiding the individual feelings, conduct and behavior, and indeed, thought habit along the process.

The result that emanate from such process is often self control, self reliance and self determination that ultimately stimulate individuals in the sustenance of the necessary drive in taking a positive decision towards achieving the set objective at any given time. Because lack of any self discipline and self confidence often have the consequence of negative disposition and distressing thought with lack of enthusiasm and ultimately, an adverse effect of low self esteem, productivity and advancement. Therefore, we need to submit and admit, that self-discipline cannot be transferred and instilled overnight, but of a gradual process.

But it must be a process of a learning culture explicated and epitomized by those who may care in the very promotion of a strong and viable relationship and commitment in the advancement and development of a society they also belong. We gain the knowledge of these things through the context (experiences) and understanding; the context we are able to weave together the various relationships of our experiences. And of cause, the greater the understanding of the subject matter, the more we are able to weave our past experiences (context) into a new knowledge in absorbing , doing, reflecting and interacting with others.

Nigerian problem stern from the very fact that we as nation fail to pay attention to the basics, be it economic, politics and what have you. It consists in a shift from the limited practical reason to what might be called the wholeness of reasons that include the intelligible with the experimentally verifiable and a balanced with his spiritual nature. This is not without the material aspect of life that must be balanced with the well being of man’s existence.

This is true, that with the advantage of technology man should no doubt, have being in greater advantage of the inherent freedom and dignity to enhance the future. Therefore, the first step in healing of the wounds and divisions in the society of our time is through the very healing of the wound and division within man himself because charity begins at home. And this is the very drama of existence of man that is affecting the whole lot of society as a result of man’s total disregard of the very sense and awareness of the transcendence and to say the least in what lies outside himself because God is wholly transcendent.

Because there is a complete lack of the sense of wholeness through which man is connected which is the very core of life. And in the replacement of the concept of material aspect as the only embracing basis for a better life which is but a distortion of the concept of life. But make no mistake, that such material aspect has to do with progress is absolutely undeniable. The same is true that, it is as a result of the misuse of this misunderstanding that is the root of the problem of modern man.
But he must solve or perish as a victim of his uncontrolled and dehumanized mental agility with the inability to balance the shift of this reality. Because, man must be able to distinguish between the vast possibilities and virtue of this inherent material and the fantasies attributed to it with the neglect of the basics of the spiritual aspect of life. Of course, the modern man has being endow the capacity to consistently strive to rediscover through his conscience that which is the light that connect him with the transcendence or Being.

It is often through such connection he can harmonize his life to contribute meaning fully to balance the spiritual and material well-being of mankind. This is true because, the knowledge of this reality is the very basis of freedom and morality. In the light of this modern discrepancies, unless there is a redefinition of community life and accept the code of ethic based not on science but on the very belief system of the sacredness of human life. It must be emphasized that the knowledge that basic to ethic is the knowledge of true love with substance of the very force that hold all mankind together irrespective of the ethnic background, class or creed.

The class or creed rooted in the I -and thou-relationship that extends to embrace the divinity. But we must not lose sight of this redefinition of the misunderstood concepts of the collective well-being of the community life. An effort must be gear towards the pursuance of the objective of the belief in the very principle and in defense of ethical standard and tradition with principle, otherwise, it might be difficult if not impossible to avoid being at the verge of unbearable point.

There has always been area of conflict across the globe which has always been about one religion against the other claiming to be the true word of God. The reality is that everyone is serving God through their own way and method they know best on this planet Earth. This has persisted from Christianity to Islam, from Buddhism to Hindu to even to the tribal belief system of the most remote forest and mountain.

As matter of fact, there are those who come close to the truth in their simple acceptance of God in themselves and in their leaving. It must be said that all consciousness is connected and all human beings are connected to one another and to God. This is true not only for Earth, but also in the far away planet and stars of the Cosmos, all is one; all is God who is Love.

The guidelines we need is the simple lesson to leave in –kindness, Harmony, Solidarity, Compassion, Forgiveness, Joy and Love with one another. Among these, is loves that expand the heart and mind to bring Joy to all who experience it. Because when there is no effect, it is not loves because God is love, the Prime Creator, and unending Love and leave no space for Judgment, Vindictiveness or blame.

Therefore, any myriad of difficulties we might be experiencing in life on Earth is always but a project seen throughout the Cosmos because of the connections. It is highly respected endeavor, like the Olympic of soul growth and much desired opportunity at any given time. The opportunity of a life time and privilege seen as a highly prized test of a mettle of Resilience, Stamina and Faith and we are asked only to respect life as an opportunity to experience it as a gift and use it accordingly.

There is no reason for any inflicted guilt and regret due to any choice we may have made at any given moment. What is important is that we can always turn to the light to Love to achieve Salvation, but all in our accord. In this perspective, it simply mean we have to reconnect to our heart, we may have tends to disconnected, to come face to face with the Dark Hart, by our own choice and preference.

Whenever we choose to reconnect, we are always welcome back to the fold with the desire to be in the light. It must be understood that human life is valued as the great plan of Soul Ascension, which is not an end in itself because there is no end. The soul Ascension is seen as housed temporarily in the body we accepted to carry through a life time. Therefore, we are part and parcel of the challenge of gender, environmental conditions we experience on Earth by our higher-self driving our sojourn in the higher dimension.

It must be understood also that due to the first law of the Universe laid down by the prime Creator, we have the capacity to work out the solution of pains, suffering and challenges we may face on Earth. Because it is understood that once this life time is over, the pains and suffering is gone and serves only as a memory. Because Salvation means relief from Delusion, Darkness, Anguish and Pain and Ascension to a higher level of consciousness which is the goal of the Soul in the Cosmos.

Humon as we are all aware is present in every culture or groups and its context also varies across culture as well. The same is often true, that Jokes do not often translate into what we expect, due to differences in social structure and cultural norms. Often, there is no universally accepted manner of Joke, and the same is true that what is funny in one culture may not be amusing in another culture, - according Michelle Brenner, (2016).

It may not be necessary to move to another country to have a taste of a cross cultural experience, because in today world, our home, work and school and shopping mole are all –contexts of diverse cultures. Cross cultural management is taught in business as well as management schools but not in international market arena, but in relation to managing teams within any organization. Often, culture evolves from like-minded groups or individuals as a shared values and experiences. It is true we have common share history with meaning, but often we do taken for granted, that which evolve into a complex culture.

It is also true that to mediate between two conflicting groups, it is not always necessary to know the in-and-out of all the cultures as to be able to act as mediator. Because it is a part of our business to know of the very dynamic of culture, context, and communication, as well as how this impact on conflicts. Therefore, the key to cross cultural communication is through the dynamic of directional awareness, of whether the communication is moving toward constructive or destructive direction. For instance, when a communication is moving towards a destructive direction, take a breath and see if the cultural differences in meaning is been overlooked and at what level from one party as seen as critical factor by the other party.

It must be observed that often, there is culture shock in crises of knowing that one is shocked into unexpected different awareness. This is always the moment one may feel out –of depth and aware that something is terribly wrong. Then comes the culture stress which is a term used to describe the overload of information which occurs as we relate to a new culture. But culture stress is more of a long term adaptation. In order to communicate in comfort, we must communicate and relate to be taken for granted with a sense of knowing and been known, which does not required a lot of attention.

It is often true that when there is ongoing attention and awareness, it required to grasp what is really taken place or happening to avoid being unable to just take for granted the meaning, because of being met with dissonance or finding ourselves in the cold. The period of adaptation required information processing that may be stressful like -“an air traffic controller” (ref. -M. Brenner).

According to Anthropologist Edward T.Hall-(1951-1955), - “what one pays attention to and what one does not attend to is largely a matter of context”…And contextual awareness is developed through culture. According to him- “Almost everyone has difficulty believing that the behavior they have, is always associated with human nature, but is not with human nature at all but a learned behavior”- Opcit.

And according to Darley and Bateson, 1973, “context determines human behavior more than personality”. This same is true because being in hurry is often the very reason to walk past a person lying on the pavement without caring, which means the context of being in a hurry is the reason rather than a personality who is not caring.

Language and linear thinking do not often reflect what is in the mind and heart of the speaker. But language is linear by nature, according to the biology of our brains in networking. By nature we take in information in context, in order to fully understand what is happening around us. But it is our culture that determine to what level this information is critical and meaningful to be ignored or taken seriously. The only way to understanding things in general term is through the framework of context, which is the meaning and situational pattern that encompass any circumstances.

What we must always pay attention to is the context and information overload that are so related. Because in some culture, the context may not be important as far as driving the meaning is concerned, of which what is important, is the information, written or spoken word only and what it refers to in meaning. According to Iian McGilchrist, in the divided brain, our physiology is designed for both high and low contextual perceptions, which is based on our culture, but developed one more than the other.

In modern culture, there is a growing habit all over the world that tends to engage in low context social media technology. And how this is affecting the brain and society with much reliance on the development of low context communication without being balanced in the brain or society of high context will ever remain a problem. The contextual information must always be valued and processed as the requirement for understanding what might be said or not said in the future.

It is the context that is feeding the meaning of the word, because context is a hidden language, through the neuroscience being understood through spreading or (contagion) emotions. For instance when you yawn, it makes me yawn. According to Donald Hebb, a Neuropsychologist, “neurons that fire together, wire together”. This simply means, the more we use our brain, the more it becomes a habit and a comfort zone. The same is true, when we get use to the habit of mixing and communication in a high context cultures, our brain will also get use to drawing meaning from context.

But if we are used to communication in a low context culture, we cannot be turning into the context to understand what is being communicated, because those neurons that do not fire together cannot wire together. In other word, it is a process and continuum between high context and low context cultures, of which High context cultures draw its meaning and interpretation from context that surround an interactions or events. But Low context culture, on the other hand draws its meaning from information only that is just present. However, it must be observed that no culture ignores high or low context except that they often tends to give higher or lesser values to them.

[b][/b]High context communication requires a greater degree of knowing the others, with greater degree of relationship development which is critical to understanding one another, of which any reliance only on verbal linear communication is limited. Cross culture is an opportunity to discover and grow, with the down side, of which is conflict.

The cross culture with support around growth and discovery could lead to beauty and with what the Chinese come to called-“The Art of Being Muddle” of which the differences could create a whole. It is true that by nature, human beings are created with the capacity to read and draw meaning from context. This is because certain level of context is necessary for effective communication, although, culture varies and to a certain degree of developed attention to value of context.

For the sake of knowledge, I wish to explicate the difference between Character and Attitude, simply because, often we tends to make use of this two concept as if they mean the same thing. However, whatever the similarity in their uses through their definitions, we should be able to understand them in clear term. That said, there are values and principles we tends to overlook and take for granted and yet , they tends to affect how we handle situation and approach other people around us.

These values are rooted from how and where we are brought up that often have a telling effect on these two concept called -character and attitude, that tends to vary from one individual to others. As human being, we have something called-“innate”-an inbuilt trait that comprises our entire being called –“essence. The same is true; we have our individual “identity” peculiar and unique to our individuality, in the sense that it is our being –inside-out. It must be observed, however, that character is innate of which an identity of any individual is obtainable through education and right value system.

Character is innate in every individual because it cannot be changed but it tends to shape our upbringing. It also tends to influence certain behavior as we do things we did not intend to do, but we still do anyway, simply because that is our character. The same is true, that often it makes us to do things right or wrong but based on our value system and adopted principles. Such value system and principles that often cannot be subjected to easy change because that is our character and who we are beyond our appearance.

The character of anyone can easily be identified but cannot easily be changed. But unlike attitude we can chose to change it at any given time unlike character that will take a long time to change because it is rooted on value system good or bad. Character therefore is our identity that makes us a peculiar individual that cannot be compared to others in its uniqueness.

Attitude on the other hand is always a choice we often make to address issue or approach any situation to show what we want and how we want certain things based on our individual experience. Attitude changes based on situation and environment as we strive to adjust to fit into what is obtainable at any given moment. It also tends to determine of how we chose to handle and approach situation and people around us.
In a nutshell, attitude may show what a person want, but character do not care what a person want, but the quality of which a person lived by.

The same is true attitude cannot easily be figure out in any individual, because it is subject to constant adjustment. This is so due to the prevailing environmental indioysicracy, and may take time to figure out an attitude in any individual. Some of the good character that enhances any value system are-Courage, Patience, Honesty, Integrity, Respect, Humility and Obedience etc. The same is true that some bad character called vices are- Falsehood, Dishonesty, Disloyalty and impersonation and Procrastination etc.

Because character is what make up our entire identity, Roy T Bennett, opined that “when you take control of your attitude, you invariably take control of your life” simply because the right value and education makes up a great character. It is worth emphasizing that- Character is more on identity in its uniqueness while Attitude is on how we approach situation and people.

Character is built through education while Attitude through our experience. Character cannot easily be changed but Attitude can be changed at any given time. Character can easily be observed because it surface through individual while Attitude can hardly be figure out in any individual because it is subject to constant manipulation any given time.

Example;- You are both a supervisor and supervised at the same time. And with the Biblical principle that says “They are no longer two, but one flesh”-(Mathew,19; 6).

COMMITMENT;- Which is by definition, a thing one has agree or promised to do without backing down, like the husband and wife, who are committed or promise or agree for a permanent bond to stay together or work together for better for worse. Therefore, commitments have the flavors of sense of security and sense of confidence based on mutual love and respect to carry out a certain task to its logical conclusion without backing down.

WHY IT MATTERS;- simply because when confronted with difficulties, without the sense of commitment, an individual, or group of individual and spouses, will be quick to use the term- “ we are just not compatible to work together or to be together. Example;- When you with commitment strive to view problems as obstacles, but not as a deal breaker- And this simply means you must be - quick to forgive and apologize at any given situation where appropriate.

3. DISCIPLINE; -This is by definition, the training to obey rules and regulations as well as the ability to controlled behavior in any area of activities, and indeed, at work and home. It is the act to guide and to teach any form of misbehavior, with high level focus and dedication at any given time. Above all it involve imparting moral training that assist one to lean, to make a good choice at any given time.

WHY IT MATTERS;- simply because in recent times, discipline has tends to disappear from workplaces and in our homes. It must be emphasized that, once this happened, it goes a long way to affect the society at large with the consequence of breakdown of law and order.

Discipline, emanated from moral rules and a reputable standard through which reasonable boundaries are set to help children grow into well rounded adults. To a large extent, it is not over statement to say that most of the societal Wahala, are partly rooted from this mild field of indiscipline.

It is almost the same thing, that we could not explain why, after years of our accestor have lived beside River Niger, Mongo park came from no where to say he discover the river Niger, and we have been reading the book without asking why.

The individual person known as man is often misunderstood due to lack of adequate understanding of the ontological dimension of the man in question. The term in used here is philosophical term that deals with the nature of existence and its consistency. This is because man has long cease be or is no longer regarded as absolute value. In this perspective, it simply means that man has come to be regarded as a mere transitory phenomenon of reason.

What we are talking about here is the structure of man that has to do with religious, moral and politics as well metaphysics. There has always been consistent attempt to portray man in the light of what might be called a –tragedy- of the superman.

But on the other hand, in the light of ideological concept of a person, the idealist never relent in their attempt to regard a person as a mere phenomenon of psychology just to make him not only an egoistic individual but also a subjective being. But the reality is that, this is unacceptable, although, inadmissible but understandable in all ramification. This is true, because when man is refused of his complete humanity or personality, if you like, what else, it simply mean he becomes an object thrown continually into a problematic world. And of cause with no value, but in a sort of battle front of self survival, and in fact he may as well not survive it, who knows, which is the enigma of man.

It is self-evidence, that some of the properties that often come to be manifested in human being for those who care to conceive a man dialogically in relation to others, is no doubt, can be found in his vocation, action and communication. The same is true, that as regard the vocational aspect of any person or being, he becomes significant as a unique individual, of which nothing can substitute his reality as a man and those who he relates.

On this part, is his actions, but it is always a fact that as an individual or man he must be engaged or subjected to a certain continuous action through which he could discover his potentials to survive in his existence as he strive to actualize himself. In his communication process, he no doubt, often employs a verbal and non-verbal means to communicate, of which language becomes the vehicle with which he command his thought. The same is true, that often his thought and feelings remains unexpressed, if there is no language attached.

Often man comes to be judged almost in everything by the very efficiency of his communication in both speech and written word. For man’s communication to be effective he must reflect in his mind which is the true image of his thought as conveyed to others. Often in communication through relationship with others, man often comes to discover a movement that reveals man to others.

In this perspective, the first experience in any person is the experience of the second person- which is ‘’-you-’’ and of which when embarked upon, becomes a battle of survival. Because it is–“I” who is always in favour of a person and has the fundamental commitment and moral obligation applicable in the collective struggle of survival.

[b][/b]In humility there is no presumption of superiority. When one is humble it is generally said to be discrete and not intrusive. Humility does not take notice of virtue according to some school of thought. Although, some other school of thought, would make us to believe humility is but a sign of timidity or even an incapacity of self-evaluation. While others come to see humility as under estimation of one’s personality, a deligitimation of self before others, which is synonymous to a weakness at best.

In this point of view, it simply means any one with humble spirit is almost a convenient individual that could be taken undue advantage of at any given time and place. It is an individual prone to humiliation and even unduly used at will. But it must be emphasized that this is but a secularized interpretation and in particular a sociological concept of humbleness, that has come to exhaust the real significant of the exact Christian concept of humbleness.

It is also true that the Christian concept of humbleness is a term quite different from the ordinary usage due to its radical foundation. In this perspective humility is an essential virtue among others, necessary due to reason of moderation, and its attribute quality. It must be stressed, that it will be wrong to attribute certain quality and endowment that does not in any form fit into a particular personality.
The same is true that such mistake could equally be grievous to assume it is an act of humbleness.

Make no mistake that humility does not mean an adjustment for the sake of doing so, but toward an act of impersonality and the knowledge of Wisdom of which Solomon was an epitome.

In recent times, the French President-Macron has become an epitome of Humility, in what come to be attributed to be his “Shift in critical thinking”- to teach critical thinking in a different perspective, which is the “failure tolerant leadership”. The law of change is part of the evolutionary effort of man through which human race has come to slowly lift up himself from the baseline of all other creatures. The baseline where the destiny of all living things has been fixed by life pattern and instinct. It is through which man has always strive to overcome since the time immemorial.

It is obvious that the entire history of mankind has come to be clearly marked as a pattern of perpetual change, moving onward and forward. It has become the creature’s device from the rational human being to those of irrational animal.

This is true in the eternal verity of life in habit and thought of man that is continuously reshaping into a system of relationship and moving into a more harmonious and better understanding of his environment. It is imperative, therefore that this device of change must adequately be comprehended and put into practical use at all time.

This must be done in the habit and attitude just to masters the very cause of fear of change which is but an opposition to the overall pattern of the universe. For to conform to this overall plan of the universe of change or perish, is always the nature’s warning through the manifestation of some the devastation situation we often come to witnessed over the centuries past.

The same is true that often times, the fear of failure and indeed, the very shock of disappointment in human being is design to shake loose of this fixed habit that man has tenaciously clings to. But no matter at what level man has struggled with his irrational paranoia, a change has always be the very device through which we must adopt to embrace the benefit a better habit of growth. And education becomes the bedrock of transformation that provoke the mind of any individual to the part of growth and development from within.

And indeed, Education also causes the mind to evolve and expand as he moves from the primary level to the highest level through the constant changes in the very thinking process and reflections. It is in this thinking process and reflections we come to develop an act of rationalism to become the bedrock with what may be called the potential power to advance in process of development.

Through this potential power we become capable of not only in the striving to solve individual and collective problems, but also to confronting and coming to terms with the reality as they present themselves in our evolutionary journey. It is self-evidence that this theory of the law of change, tends to conform to nature’s plan as found through the human experience of inventions throughout history.

Because it forces man to use and develop his mind power and to have often to confront what looks like the impossible in the unpredictable journey as we evolves. The same is true that this law of change is the very sources of education in itself, because understand this reality; you will no longer oppose this inalienable heritage from nature that gives a wide scope of understanding of man and its environment.

It is significant though, to know that the traits our creator most emphatically frowns upon in man are –complacency, procrastination, fear, and self-imposed limitation, all of which, no doubt, carry with it its own consequences. Although, complacency and habit has been allowed to won a victory over change and progress, in this part of the world but this is unfortunate.

It must be emphasized however, that it is through this act of change which is the only and only one means of which the creator had provided to allowed man to break away from other irrational animal. And it is only through this means that man must ascend into the spiritual and material estate to be master of his own fate.

And he does this through the simple process of mental attitude to draws a pattern of standard of living, in conformity with nature to face up with the reality of his time. It is with this irrevocable and unchallenged power in man that he must not overlook in what looks like an absolute control of his reality.

Because man has since been considered by the creator to be the only important prerogative in guidance and direction. And to come to deny him or be denied this very right, no doubt, amount to repression and misconception of the central purpose of what man has come to represent and may be the purpose of his existence.

The fixation of habit and self-imposed limitation is but an attitude that openly shun knowledge and all what it represent in man’s evolutionary journey and also in the acceptance of living by the truth of others long past.

The same is true, that it is but an act of resistance to the truth itself as well as the very foundation they have come to predicate the truth. The same is true in what they come to represent, in what looks like a vociferous attack to the growth and advancement, in their’ own perspective ‘of which no one dare question.

But it represent also their fear of the unknown and the unseen that becomes the very reason why they waste no time instigate others to follow suit because they are too comfortable with the state of affair. Accordingly, they don’t know how to ‘be’ and could not let others ‘be’, hence, the very concept of change has become not only it tends to irritate but unpleasant. And although, sound great, but remain one of the most difficult, if not impossible notion to grapple with in its very essence.

It must be emphasized though, that power of change belong to God. But Paul would remind us that-"He can do more than we can ask or imagine by his immeasurable and incredible power that is at work on the inside of us and our circumstances'' . After reading the Gospel of Mathew 5:38-42, to day, l have the followings to say. When vers.38, said "an eye for an eye and tooth for tooth".

It was obvious that at that time, it was like a wholesome maxim in Dt.19:18-21.This is because it tends to put a limit to the thirst for any form of vengeance.

And even the judges were often being reminded at the time, that they have a duty to defend the weak in the society at large.

"Do not oppose evil with evil"-Here the question is when we approach our adversary or evil person in the same way they approach us, it will result to a circle of repproach or circle of vengeance. Now who among the two is weaked.

In the Gospel, we are asked to "Offer the other cheek", and this simply mean we must be the first to free ourselves from the circle of revenge or violence.

And also we must strive to act like the Judocal with a surprise move when the opponent least expect any such move, as to discover we were mistaken.

Because it is this act of renunciation of violence for our own interest, that will surely oblige the " Heavenly Father" to intervene and come to our aid, even when we least expect it .

Therefore, we must not forget that Jesus simply want us to see God at work in our life on daily bases in this context.

The emancipation that inspire, not a passive acceptance, but in the authentic and firm resolve to work effectively in the way of truth in order to free man once and for all from any form of oppressive and violence forces that is raging so assiduously and the shackle of poverty of our time.

Through such resolve, we can return humanity to his dignified platform of existence, through which he exercises his full right in the scheme of things. Although, there is the gospel prosperity talks of material abundance as a sign of divine favor of which, what they seems to be silent about is the very purpose of this material abundance in the life of man.

But there must be a shift of value system that ask for a balance and moderation without drifting either extreme in the quest to positively regulate our perspective of the current system. It must be the shift of value to balance our material well-being and the spiritual well-being and the self and others without recourse to the extreme as the current extremist nature of things seems to depict.

It must be observed, however, that in the 18th century, there arose a movement of the intellectual thought in Europe. And their sole aim was a rejection of the external authority as they enthrone what come to be regarded as personal subjective judgment.

Although, they were known to be called enlightenment and was celebrated in their intellectual individualism. Their main objective was also to seek to banish any idea of living by repository of wisdom beyond one’s own intellect.
