I will like to say here, that it is all a good thing to do, but the very idea of not maintaining these equipment is sometimes mind burgling, it simply goes to show that Nigeria as country has no maintaining culture. And I think it not too late, if we think it is a problem to solve. Because, every govt., that comes seems to want to start all over again as if nothing has ever been done before they come to power. The ideas of ‘miserable conspiracy’ come to Billy’s mind, as he finds himself in what he later chose to call the situation of “dramatic irony”; although, a term he distaste a great deal to use in his lessicon due to what it literally come to represent. But his experience could not be far compared to that of a spoonful of yogurt capable of passing on its own life to a quantity of raw milk.

Really, it was a dramatic circumstance during the time when he had to walk in the same filo- conduct-ore unending, that sometimes made him to contemplate to getting rid of himself in whatever that could be possible. But the reality, is that he had not even got the least courage to do, if the possibility was present, which as it were, he had to choose to contend with what looks like a contradiction, but for how long, and this becomes the particular experience of identical nature of a man cut in the web.

Since the main light has been cut off leading to his apartment due to not payment, he has been in the dark, although, with an honest intention it may sound. Of course, he has left his job for inexplicable reason, due to outside pressure though, but he later regretted to have submitted himself to the whim and caprices of the time. Because the consequence of what looks like an emotional disturb, no doubt is self-evidence.
He was just leaving with this couple he thought he had assisted a great deal to settle in spite of all the trouble that comes with to settle as a couple. But there was an enigma unknown to Billy of which no one was going to disclose, in particular since he is of the passive nature and easy going type.

The enigma unknown to Billy was the very fact that a bunch of story was recounted about them of which none of such story Billy ever tried to verify as he took everything for granted. For Billy it does not really matter what it was, as always in his Mondi operandi. Rather what matter is that they just need to be assist due to their precarious situation they least expected to find themselves. But in spite of what looks like his ignorant of the true reality of this couple he lived with, as time will tell, he got to know that Lady Wendy was not just what she portray herself to be in what looks like inconsistent and strange behavior she display.

At that moment in time, Billy was not too surprised as he cast his mid back to the information in his possession. According to Billy, this lady appear to him in one of the faithful night, as if he was in a trance then she descend on him, but in the moment struggle to immediately repel her she griped his hand of which the mark become very visible. He contemplated of fighting to prove that he was not afraid of what she did, but later decided to walk up to her and look at her in the eyes, as evidence of her misadventure and quest to intimidate him. Although, as it appear, she tends to own up of her bad intention as throw off her face in her shameful method of self-defense. In Billy’s moment of reflection, he recalled a few night before then, in what looks like a trance, there was baby lying on his chest, as if he was playing with the child, only to open his eyes in moment later to discover, it was all in a dream.

Gradually, he also discovered that Wendy’s husband, Perry was not functional as a man, although, there has being speculation about it of which Billy also refuse to believe like a doubting Thomas. The reality, is that knowing this fact by everyone, whether Billy believe it or not, the assumption no doubt tends to stand. The very assumption that Billy take responsibility of Lady Wendy as long as Perry is not functional, but this unknown to Billy as he move on with this basic fact in ignoramus .

This bunch of revelation could not change him from his usual and normal relation with them, except that he becomes more sympathetic to their plight instead of being offended and afraid. Come to think of it, Perry was always an easy going individual who tends to mind his “affair” or business, probably to cover what looks like a slight setback of which Billy had not the slightest courage to ask for any detail.
Often, if you like Billy is a friend need, and a friend in indeed to Perry, in his dealing, but with contrary view, on the part of Perry in respect to Billy, due to lady Wendy’s dominant attitude probably as a result Parry’s short coming, of which becomes a mild filed that took Billy a long time to dissect. In one of such moment Billy cried in his recluse because of Perry and make up his mind to treat him as his own brother and friend henceforth.

In this climate of self-reflection, Billy never gives up his friendship with them as he treats them as a family in both deed and action as they would shear their concerned virtually in everything. But Perry’s wife tends to indulged always in some crafty-attitude to lure Billy into friendship with her but Billy find this a bit distasteful, morally without coming out openly of the reason behind none acceptance . In one occasion they ask Billy to follow them to the hospital to carry out a test without any further explication of the reason and without hesitation, he followed them.
At the hospital, the lady-Dr, carry out the test and confirmed openly after the test that Lady Wendy can no longer had a baby due to her previous abortion committed long time ago. During what looks like a revelation, she burst out crying and get loose openly into an atmosphere of commotion in the hospital.

However, with this information, Lady Perry cried the hell out of herself at the hospital premises of which Billy consoled her with the statement that ‘with God nothing is impossible”, hence, she must not lose hope of any future baby. With this advice, there appear to be the negative impression probably, that Billy has becomes interested in Lady Wendy, which eventually culminated into night visit. As it were, Billy remain consistent in his dealing with them without any explanation of his intentions whether as a friend with secrete intention to take over Lady Wendy.

During this period, they were now doing things as if nothing had happened, but Billy knew at the back of his mind that a lot of things are going on, which is their false assumption. This concealed information and assumption which everyone seems to uphold, was further given credence and disseminated, not without excitement, always unknown to Billy.

It must be called a cultural conspiracy of silence in all ramification. Because an average African would tell you, these conspiracy never exist. Like it or not, it is all like walking with head, as Max would tell Hegel in one of the famous theory. Reason is very clear, problem of identity.

One of the outstanding problems at the time was light. For the past few days, the environment has been under starvation of electricity due to fact that it has been cut due to non payment. The possibility of restoring it seems very remote as some of the neighbors are more than reluctant to paying their due. In the open, they would confess with all honesty of their lack of means to settle their payment.

Their honest deceit, sometimes could induce one who is not conversant with their language to want to take responsibility to settle the matter without qualm. But reflecting for a moment, one would discover they were merely of a sugar coated tongue, often with the capacity to deflect even a high level personality in research work in a psychology.

The reality is that at a go they can afford to acquire every other object one would consider exorbitant in forbearance of more important thing. In the light of such irony, they can also afford to put on their generator over night through which without fuel of say, two to three thousand Naira the generator may not run consecutively for three days. As it were, it became an irony because it is a term used to describe a word which tends to change with a layer of meaning different from the literal one of which the subtler interpretation, the hearer or speaker is often unaware.

They were just in a highway, in an environment they were well familiar with, although, certain things have changed over time in terms of development in an unbelievable manner. The reason stern from the very fact that, the road that was known to be very narrow has now become so wide due to the construction and infrastructural development going on. In spite of this fact, his friend still take the responsibility to lead the way. But to their surprise, after the highway, they come to a point that there was a close up, as if the construction has come to halt. Nevertheless, they could not stop, as his friend beckon to him to come on over since he knew other part they could pass through to their destination.

In the direction they were heading, there was what looks like a low land with a hill and valley of which they have to climb and descend. Although, he was preoccupied about the environment in which they were, but Pepino was always there to assure him all was going to be okay as long as he was leading the way. In not too long a distance after they had descended from the hill there was what looks like an open river, not without breath taken.

Again his friend reassured him they would do everything possible to cross the river without problem. In this open river was some pretty heap of rubbish as it serve as duping enclave, and over the other side was a village that tends to be responsible for the dumping. The result was the rubbish that floats around and in the open river. As his friend contemplated for a while for their next action, he instructed him to follow him as they both dive into the river to crossover. But as they dive, he observed a bunch of visitors of different brands of huge rats swimming in different direction to alert them of their presence as the rightful owner, and to view themselves as an invader as it were.

Of course, he was not surprise as he figures out that they were there probably due to the rubbish in order to feed for themselves. Gradually, they were at the verge of finding way to the other end, in spite of what look like the worst experience of their life time in an open river as they sighted a town they had earlier contemplated. In a split of a second, Billy perceive himself and Pepino struggled to regulate their final push to be out of the water as Billy opens his eye. When he checks his watch, it was exactly 2am in the morning as he spent the remaining hours trying to figure out the meaning of what looks like a long walk in a trance. Read more on:

When Billy came back from work, he gave an impression of restlessness. This he could not hide from even the least unconscious individual. Although he felt very tired to do anything, he knew at the back of his mind that it was inevitable he get himself something to eat that evening. In spite of his tiredness, he was completely at odd with the time he finds himself. The reason was very clear. Because he lived alone, hence, he expects no one to get him something to eat neither to encourage him for form of slackness.

With what looks like a moment of confusion in this context, he immediately figures out the quickest way to get over it. Again in what looks like a brilliant idea to get over his slackness, he discovered at the very last minute he has none any of the very ingredient to do anything, even for whatever he may choose to prepare.

He contemplated for a split of a second whether to go for it or not. But the reality is that for quite some time, he has taken the decision that the moment he was in, he was never to come out until the second day. But this particular moment seems to be quite different. What seems to stand out however, among his reasons rightly or wrongly, was simply that it is weekend therefore, it appear a peculiar time for his modest estimation. Yes, it so because no shopping moles will be opens as always the case.

It became imperative under any circumstances that he must have to dash out to get what he needs not what he wants. Beside, these are things he needs if he must eat something or else he would go to bed without food. In a moment of reflection, he burst into a laughter that was to consume his time, as he immediately realized he must avoide what had happen the other night without food. The laughter, however, no doubt, tends to relief him of his worry that had built up overtime. It was his Granma who always tell him to learn to laugh at himself whenever he has some cracking moment, because it helps, and with this he remembers her always.

Because the moment you can afford to laugh at yourself, no one can laugh at you to hurt you. And as it were, he made up some list of items which were the things that he has been lacking over time, if not due to his unusual procrastination of which his current environment could be held responsible.

Even if he could do without any other ingredient, he could not do without the most basic one like salt of all ingredients. With this observation he became more alert after the laughter, as if he has taken tonic that was to propel him through the entire moment of preparation for the procurement of the items. Once again, he removes only his shirt and then sat down in one of the couch, just to be sure of what he was going out for. At that moment in time, he realized that his problem was not actually whether he was tired or not, but the avoidance of spending the extra cash left with him for anything, he remind himself.

But this very evening, it was what you lacking so much and indeed about food, for the second time, he told himself, as he get up from where he was. Unfortunately, he could not afford to fulfill such promise not to spend for anything, as he had promised himself early. And as it turns to be what looks like a personal discrepancies and justification he let be and to takes the place of a principle.

But such self justification, though, might only tend to portray him as a miser in the open, he once again remind himself, as something to guide against. With this reflection he dissipated his emotional accumulation; as he disappear into the open with his regained energy, and set out for his acquisitions for the evening. When he came back, he was sure he was going for what he called “Bricolage’’ which means a quick set of whatever was available for cook and eat just to appease the stomach for the night. The concept –based -instruction is driven by the big ideas or big picture instead of the subject specific contents or the things they contain. Therefore, concept-based –instruction or learning brings us into the real world, where content knowledge and skill becomes a reality of the subject -matter. As it becomes a reality, it provoke our critical thinking or thought, essential to our ability to creatively solve any problem. The universal theme, must be introduced to engage our thought in active understanding of the concept based instruction that enable us to do the followings;-

The power of hope resides in the belief of the psychological victim and psychological survivor. And belief is by definition the state of mind in which an individual come to think that something has to be the case without any empirical evidence to show for it or to prove that it is actually the case. Taken hope as a figure, it then stands between man and the abyss as it becomes the very possibility and if you like an affirmative action of any individual, patient, or victim of any situation. The possibility that it could be better and can be recovered, no matter the devastation and of which is the power of hope.

It must be observed that the power of hope always lay dormant in the corner of our heart not in the brain, until it is beckon to awaken and act in the mix of overwhelming emotional disturb. It is also true that any overwhelming emotional disturb can always blocked the vision of sight of the very presence of the power of hope can be sighted. It is when we are not overwhelmed by emotional disturbs and takes a moment to sight the figure of hope. Then beckon it to act, of which in its response will always supply the belief to overcome any situation as it strength our perseverance to endure anything and everything. The power of hope is simply the belief and the act of a moment to be in control of our emotional disturb , that it must get better, and of cause, that it could not just a wish, but based in an authentic faith of belief and of being in control of the situation. The knowledge and belief that the lost home and possession can be recovered. Of cause, that whatever the material possession may be, it can be recovered, with steadfast and determination even, if it means starting all over again.

With the power of hope, in any lost employment, with the help of family and friends support, a new employment could often be at the corner. Make no mistake, that often hope is always looking bleak until it is sighted, in any given situation, as it appear not to -existent. Yet it awaits your consent to be awakened for an intervention in any threatening ordeal situation for your very survival. Because at the surface, it always seems impossible, but as you take a moment to sight the power of hope, what looks impossible can become possible as a sigh of relief flow from the heart where it reside.

The country has come a long way in its sride to improve the life of the people and to democritized. There has to be tolerance of religion as well, for the sake of balancing the spiritual with that of material wellbeing of the people of a great country-China.

On a serious note, I just think the idea of what any session want should not be the main thing. Rather, in striving to creat a level playing filed conducive for every one, inrespective of any poltical affilliation. I think enough is enough of any sectonal overtone and think about what Nigeria has under gone in its political abuse and denigration overtime. Read the NIgeria history and see how much she need to wait to be fully accepted in the comity of nation with the dignity she deserved. There is an urgent need for a deconstructive politics here in Nigeria for those who care.
